I'm still going to be updating Fireteam Phoenix: Hidden Faces, I'll just be doing this on the side.

I don't own Transformers.

Prologue

Three robots accompanied by a few human soldiers crested an overlooking ridge. One of them pointed in a direction away from the group. One of the robots which was orange and yellow nodded. The triple-changer transformed from a bipedal form to mechanical horse with little firefly antennas. She trotted away before galloping off into some trees. The pink one looked down at a scanner.

"Ratchet," She called to a green robot. "The decepticons are nearly on top of us."

"Then, where is Firefly?"

An F-350 pickup came roaring back before transforming to the orange and yellow robot, Firefly.

"Get back! Get Back!" She called out, just as an explosion tore through the trees and knocked her off her feet. The pink robot rushed back to her as she hauled herself to her feet.

"Thanks, Arcee."

The group rushed back as more explosions echoed through the air. One of the soldiers, Major Lennox looked back into the valley, before gasping. He'd known the decepticons were close to his home, but he didn't realize if he looked over his shoulder, that he would see his family's home nestled in the valley below, neighbors on both sides' miles away.

The soldiers ducked behind rocks as it turned to a fight. A shot hit the neon yellow 'bot and knocked him back, almost to the edge of the cliff. Ratchet groaned, blinking his dim optics as energon leaked from an injury from the blast. Lennox darted out from behind the rock to get to the wounded autobot. He could have sworn he heard the cliff start to give way. Stopping beside Ratchet's head, Will gently placed his hand on the side of the green 'bot's face.

"Will-" Ratchet protested. "You need to get away from the edge. It's going to collapse.

"What about you?" He shouted over the noise.

"I'll be fine."

Firefly glanced over her shoulder, optics widening. Rocks on the sides of the cliff started to come loose and fall. She bolted forward and sliding Will out of the way while the cliff crumpled. Rocks, rubble and the two autobots tumbled down the side of the ridge.
