How about a sweet prompt where Boom Sonic and Amy talk about how much their relationship changed a lot from the past (classic and modern era) and they like tease each other over their old antics of chasing/running away? I really love those prompts where the Boom timeline is just the Modern timeline in the future and want more of it OAO

And more you shall have, my sweet~!
Prompt:
It was a strangely cold day.
Amy was bundled up, pulling against the coat she had—by chance—snagged off her coat hanger and brought with her today.
She was coming back from picking up some Meh Burger and groceries and looked up to see the clouds turn greyer than ever.
The island was experiencing weird weather due to the seasonal changes, but she missed the warmer weather…
She felt her nose grow numb from the cold and sneezed, hurrying home to get a napkin.
When she called the gang on a group facecam chat, she didn't realize the connection from the blistering wind would cause it to be so bad.
In the end, the only person she really got a hold of was Sonic.
But she didn't mind that so much…
"Sonic? Can you hear me?"
"Bzzztt… Y-ea-bzzzttt… I'll com-bleezzt.. Over!" his voice was distorted by the continual interference, but she was certain he had said he'd come by.
She quickly looked at her attire, figuring she looked alright but quickly went to make some adjustments and brush out her windblown hair.
When he came by, she got excited, holding her hands together tightly before noticing her obvious hyperness and tried to conceal by placing her hands behind her back.
"Sonic! I'm glad our connection was decent enough to get a hold of one another…" she smiled with a girlish infatuation, but Sonic was so accustomed to it that he hardly noticed.
He looked around, taking off his winter wear and stretching out, "You haven't decorated yet? That's new. I thought you said something about cookies..?" he licked his lips when he noticed the warm and freshly baked smell that lingered towards the open kitchen.
She chuckled but rolled her eyes once he strode by her and mouthed a few whining sentiments before he took one.
As he chewed, she suddenly gained a memory.
"Hehe." She giggled cutely, and this sparked a nostalgic feel to Sonic as well. He turned around, looking a little surprised to hear it after all these years.
"I know that laugh."
She blushed and placed both hands on the side of her face.
"What amazing memory of me were you doting on?" he smirked, nibbling on a cookie he had retrieved so quickly that Amy still thought he was one his first one.
"Ohhh… you're not supposed to read me this well!" she looked flustered, but also seemed to give up on subtly. At least… for this one time, anyway.
"Remember the warm, summer days when we were just… two crazy kids off seeking adventure and excitement?" she leaned against the windowsill, watching as raindrops looked more like flurries, but not quite snow yet. It was sluggish snow, the kind that islands got because it was still too warm a climate for a full-on winter wonderland.
She sighed, leaning back and holding herself from falling through gripping the bottom of the windowsill's plane. "There were flowers and the greenest grass you had ever seen… the smells! Oh! You could tell it was summer by the pine scent and you'd come by for a warm dinner sometimes!" she spun herself around, growing more and more animated with the memory.
When she did, she stopped in surprise. He was leaning against the table, arms folded, fixated on her as his head tilted.
She blushed again, not used to seeing this expression of interest in his eyes—directed at her, anyway.
She cleared her throat and chuckled nervously again, lowering her head and then turning back to the window. "Anyway… just youthful ventures, I guess."
"I like how you remember things." Sonic spoke up, sparking a light inside of Amy that she tried to keep in.
Her shoulders bounced at his words though, "D…Do you have similar memories?" she turned back to him, a little more cautiously. "I-I mean you were there! So… of course, what am I thinking!?" she tried to play it off, make fun of herself, but she really wanted to hear him ramble off about the past too…
"I just remember rolling on the soft grass." Sonic kicked off from the table and walked to the window, now turning his attention to the bitter and wet cold that lingered outside. "I still remember… a time you didn't hide your emotions so much." He gazed back at her and she once again had the wind knocked out of her.
She turned immediately to him, guilty as charged, tightening her face at his honesty.
He winked, trying to calm her down as she looked as though she took that as a scold.
She quieted down a bit, placing her hands on the windowsill and overlapping them, sitting upright again.
She looked down, "I would call your name… race after you like a lovesick little girl… I thought you hated that."
Admitting her feelings on this topic was a little difficult. She didn't want to offend Sonic…
"Hate's a strong word." Sonic's mouth formed a frown of disapproval at how she said that, but she smiled a little when her eyes looked up to see it. "I'd say… I wasn't used to it at the time. But you've grown a lot, Amy! I would be lying if I said I didn't miss some of those days." He shrugged, moving back to the cookies.
A sad expression grew as she watched him walk away, knowing he'd change the topic if he felt it got too much.
To avoid this, a sudden burst of love sprung her to action. She had been suppressing such urges for so long, but remembering their times together, she couldn't help it.
"Like this? SOOOONNNIICCC!" she raced to his back and jumped.
"Woah!" Sonic was so used to this new dynamic with Amy that the sudden reminder of her open tendencies to embrace him left him completely shocked again.
He flailed his arms a moment, and Amy immediately giggled her youthful sound again, the one he had recognized after all these years of trying to keep this side of herself hidden.
"Oh, my darling Sonic! I've missed you so much!"
"Q-quit that!"
"Hehe~ I could never quit on true love, Sonic!"
"A-Amy!"
"Aww, I thought my name was Ames now~" she placed a finger on his cheek, drilling it dotingly into his muzzle as he freaked out.
"That's enough! I thought you were over this stage!?" he pulled away, having his hands on Amy's shoulders as she laughed and laughed.
She wiped a tear away and grinned brightly, "Love never fully dies, Sonic… it does mature though." She dusted herself off, adjusting the bottom of her dress and pulling it down a bit before looking giddily back at him. "Bring up any further memories?"
Sonic leaned back, stretching out the gap between his bandana and his neck, frowning… "Yeah… a few."
"Which one's your favorite?"
"Favorite?"
"Yeah! The one that first came to your mind when I did that?" she was bouncing on her heels, content with the hug she had missed for so many years…
Sonic seemed to look up, thinking about it before turning back to the cookies.
"…We were younger." He stated, in a somewhat reflecting tone.
Amy stopped her excitable antics and listened, suddenly intrigued and amazed he took the question seriously.
His finger traced the rim of the cookie's dish… but his eyes were lost in thought. "…I was about to go to sleep, beating Eggman after a long journey had left me wanting some peace and quiet for a change."
Amy held her breath, thinking she may know this memory.
But she dared not interrupt him!
"You came over the hill and I thought I'd die. 'Oh no,' I thought." He smiled a moment, huffing and shaking his head lightly with a fond look upon his face. His eyebrows then furrowed, "You cried out about the same. Crying out my name and rushing to me with a huge grin… Arms outstretched,… looking like you'd won the game." He turned back to her, his eyes a bit softer as a tender smile took hold of his once absent expression.
He moved his hands and placed them on her mouth, forcing a shape upon them and laughing. "You haven't changed! Haha! Your expression is still there, I just haven't seen your mouth get that wide before in a long time!" his sudden affection and touch made Amy freeze.
He had never been this intimate with her before, especially with the thoughts of his mind.
She didn't want him to stop, and seeing him about to stop, she immediately spoke up again. "Then what happened..?!" it was as though her words had grabbed his hand, begging it not to move from her face…
He turned back to her, hand still hanging in the air while the other had already dropped somewhat.
He looked confused, "You don't remember?"
Her eyes wavered, revealing it wasn't that, but she stared back at him with a longing that made him embarrassed.
He took his hands to his sides and fidgeted, "Well… y-you know the rest." He went to the cookies, and she rushed to grab his arm.
"Sonic!"
"…"
The two stared at one another again…
"…Nom." He reached for a cookie and bit into it.
She lowered her eyelids, "Really?"
He continued to nibble. "Nom, nom, nom." He joked, clearly making light of the moment before and not liking her sudden seriousness about it.
"…We were having a moment!" she threw her hands up, upset by his avoidance after realizing how it was affecting her.
"…nom-nom-nom-nom-" he immediately scurried to the door, opening it somewhat.
"Ah! Come back!"
His body faced her but he walked backwards, still nibbling as he revealed he had swiped the plate as well.
"SOOONNNIIICC!" Amy outstretched her arms, crying out with an angered expression.
But her mouth… was wide like it's exaggerated self from the past.
He grinned secretly behind the half-eaten cookie and took off into the cold.
"OHHH! That hedgehog! Why can't you just express yourself and stay in the moment!?" she took off after him, summoning her enerbeam to grab a stripped tree— it branches naked from fall—and swung to catch up to his speedy retreat.
She hadn't realized his home wasn't a good enough shelter for the sudden wet slush of the winter season, and he must have clearly came by her home for some warmth… but peering in, she noted he wasn't there.
"Huh."
The day cleared up, showing sun over the wet earth as she continued to seek out Sonic, searching everywhere. She cupped her hands around her mouth, "SOOOONNNIICCC!" the mountains echoed her cry like a telephone spreading the signal, but there was no reply back.
She sighed and slumped her shoulders, looking down at the puddles on the ground, and feeling cold again.
"I used to be so good at finding you… I've gotten rusty." She clapped her hands over her cheeks, "No! I won't give up!" she ran towards some trees and over a hill… laying under it was Sonic The Hedgehog, positioned as he was years ago and seeming about ready to fall asleep.
When she saw him look up and smile to her,…
A big, open-smile of her youth appeared once more, warming the two of them as she raced to his side as she did once… so many… many years ago.
"It wasn't that long ago!" Sonic stated as she jumped into his arms, laughing.
"Found you! I did it! I haven't lost my touch!" she giggled and squealed and was in complete, content bliss.
He smiled kindly down to her nuzzling against his chest as she had done when she was a small child.
"Yeah,… well…" he placed a hand on her head, looking away and scratching underneath his nose. "Good times." He looked longingly off into the distance… seeing a young version of themselves… and returning—ever so slightly—Amy's affections back by placing his hand on her back, returning—somewhat—the warm and memorable embrace.
In the cold's day morning light, melting away the small winter season they had, a new memory was formed. But it could never replace… the fondest of the old.
