For the first meme prompt (if you're still accepting for it), #7 with Boom Sonic trying to (in a very cheesy way) pick up Amy (both literally and metaphorically XD) with the Blue Force One

Prompt:

Amy looked cranky. Her bags were layered on her arms and digging into her hands. The plump watermelon was weighing one side down heavier than the other.

She had to walk with an imaginary hump on her back, just to get the right amount of movement to keep the bags from crashing against her knees.

It was a normal day, but nothing really exciting was happening…

I guess that made it a 'not so normal' day then…

Suddenly, an engine kicked up in the not-so-far distance and Amy's head came up, her ears piqued with curiosity as her once slumped expression turned to excitement.

She turned around and saw a blue, tri-wheeled motorcycle racing towards her with a sliced and open look to it.

Dust was pouring behind it, as though kicking up the earth and blasting it skyward, digging into the road as its motor propelled it forward.

Sonic smirked, narrowing his eyes behind his goggles and skirted the Blue Force One over in a donut maneuver around her. He looped in this fast and dirt spiraling fashion for a few turns, before finally skidding to a stop to her side.

"Need a ride?" he shook his head just enough to have the goggles fall slightly off his eyes, showing a jokingly flirty look to her.

She didn't even cough.

The dust subsided and she looked unimpressed but dropped the bags. "Yes. Thank you." She sighed, stacking the groceries on the back of his ride.

Amy's snarky attitude made Sonic's joke fall flat as though his tires lost air. He slumped a little and pouted.

He tapped his foot on the engine to reeve it up in a low tone, trying to excite something out of her dull appearance…

"Come on, Amy. I meant a joy ride!" He tried to lighten the mood again, looking behind him as she strapped her groceries to the back. Again, she looked unamused.

"How long has it been since you've written in this baby?" he pushed his goggles up and turned the controls to have the front two wheels grind the dirt below them. He was anxious to get a reaction out of Amy, turning around with a big smile on his face before seeing her tap his back.

He frowned again, rolling his eyes, "Whatever…" he scooted up for her to sit as she adjusted the bags and took a deep breath, placing her hands on his shoulders.

Again, he dropped his eyelids down as though disappointed once again…

"I really do appreciate this, Sonic." Amy finally stated, smiling. "I just don't know what I would have done without you." She almost cooed, shaking her head in a doting way as she looked to see his expression.

He certainly sat up, tilting his head with a goofy grin on it.

"Well, now that's more like it!" It was as though she started the ignition.

"My hero~" she rolled her eyes with a dorky smile, showing she had meant to say something nice about his offer earlier, but just felt dragged down by all her luggage to feel up to it.

Sonic's excitement got the better of him though, as he cried out, "Hold on!" and Amy placed her hands tightly around his waist, wrapping them and closing her eyes with a giggle.

The giggle and touch is what set him off.

His eyes elongated and his pupils shrunk. His foot shot down on the gas pedal and the front end of the car reared up like a startled horse, bolting until Sonic hit the breaks.

Then…

A shower of bags and groceries smacking to the ground behind them…

Amy's face was simply trying to process what had just happened.

They barely moved before the ride had jolted upward and sped off, then forced itself to yield and kicked it rear-end up at the break.

Sonic eyes moved back and forth, before pursing his lips and then frowning with a hand slapping against his face.

"…Really?" Amy looked ticked now, seeing her groceries spread all over the street.

"…Eh-heh…heh…" Sonic hunched down a moment, clearing his throat after trying to 'laugh' it off and reversed the bike.

It ran over the watermelon.

He once again face-smacked himself.

"J-just hang on." He kept scooting forward, then backing up into another bag, crushing the contents within. "Just a second. No. Not that way. Uh…" It only took a matter of moments for the Blue Force One to have destroyed literally every bag of groceries Amy had.

Sonic slowly opened an eye to peek behind him, seeing the eggs leak out from their bag like the spoils of war…

He looked to Amy's expression.

It was blank.

She placed a hand on his face, pushed him back as he flailed, and made her way into the front seat.

She took off his goggles in his confusion and placed them on herself.

"… You said 'joy' ride… right?" she revved up the engine.

Sonic clung to the sides of his seat underneath himself for dear life. Amy was racing up cliff sides and rounding the curves of the earth, bounding over hills and basically racing through the jungles, dodging trees as Sonic kept repeating. "Not the paint, not the paint, watch the sides!"

Once they returned to the street, Amy took off his goggles and shook out her hair, looking like she had let off some steam with a relaxing, "Ahhhh~ I needed that."

She handed him his goggles as his quills fell down from being straight up in panic, but then smiled to her.

"You… really were having a bad day, huh?"

She winked to him. "Not anymore." She smiled warmly back, getting out of his vehicle as his eyes followed her to the bags.

He then lost his smile and looked guilty, "Umm… about your bags…"

"Yeah, you owe me grocery money."

His shoulders slumped down. "Yeeahhh… I figured that."

She stopped walking and sighed calmly, turning around and placing her hands cutely behind her back. "Could I get a ride home after shopping?" she leaned forward, almost inviting him to tag along.

He turned around and willingly gave her a look like he had to surrender to that notion.

The next ride, he was much more cautious of the bags, and they were able to get them all home safely.

"Hey, Ames!" he called from outside after Amy had wiped her forehead of the sweat from carrying everything into its proper place in her kitchen.

"Yeah?" Amy turned around, looking out the window and walking to the door. "Oh my-!" she placed her hands over her mouth, gawking.

He was wearing a leather shirt with black, fingerless gloves. The goggles were still on but now he had a 'bad boy' persona on and smirked a wickedly handsome grin.

"How 'bout that ride?"

She laughed, "What on earth on you thinking?!" She then looked at his costume. "When did you have time to change? Where do you even store that getup?! The glove-department? Does that even have room for a glove-department?"

"Don't insult the ride… or the dude." Sonic kept up the attitude, flicking his wrist and revving up the engine again. He did a stunt where he pulled the front end of the Blue Force One up again, bounced it a few times and then did a backflip.

"You know you want a seat." He pointed to the back.

"Uh, I think you mean…" she raced up to him, pushing her hand to his chest so he had to move back and sat in the front again. "YOU want a seat." She took off his goggles again and placed them on herself.

Sonic smirked, rolled his eyes, "Aw man…" shaking his head though loving her confidence.

"You always have to steal my ride."

"And you always have to steal my heart." She mumbled.

His eyes suddenly blinked, losing the 'cool-guy' attitude and giving her a double take. "W-wa-wait, what?"

She kicked the vehicle into overdrive and Sonic's arms flailed around like a dork as the Blue Force One took off in another powerful gust of wind and dust.
