You know how in "Give Bees a Chance" Amy was supposed to open up her feelings about Bea when Sonic said to? How would it have proceeded if Eggman didn't attack right after that? (sorry about the weird grammar for this prompt idk how to word this properly OTL)

Sonic Prompt:

Sonic Boom Season 2 Episode 20 – Give Bees A Chance

Starting off from-!

"Well, there's one thing we haven't tried." Thinking of it on the spot, Sonic moved from his friends over to Amy's sobbing self. He, as well as the others, could tell Amy's distraught wasn't going to vanish unless they try the hard stuff…

The really… uncomfortable… hard stuff.

With a roll of his eyes, succumbing to his chosen fate, Sonic placed a hand on Amy's shoulder. He was going to be there for her, whether it was insanely boring to just talk and not do anything, he knew she needed it more than anything.

"Let's… talk about our… feelings." He lifted his hand up and clenched it into a tight ball, willing himself onward, like a true hero—taking one for the team.

Literally.

"Ah!" Amy's eyes immediately lit up with life and energy, clasping her hands together in her excitement to do so. "That's just what I need!"

Sonic's eyelids dropped, showing willing content at appeasing her, but also the now awkward situation he had placed everyone in.

Amy could have a lot of feelings… this would be a long day.

And with the hours it took to try and make the cupcakes…

"There are so many things I want to get off my chest…" Amy held herself slightly, her face turning to a vulnerable and tender side, which caught Sonic's attention immediately.

It was the probably the realest he's ever seen her, looking truly open to talking about what lurked in that mysterious heart of hers.

She wasn't afraid of backlash or even ridicule; she was just going to… talk about it.

For a moment, he found himself thinking how admirable that was. He couldn't bear to let his friends see him weak like that. Emotions could be crippling, so he had heard, and he avoided ever really experiencing big, impacting moments just to avoid anything getting in the way of his fun.

But looking at her face change from happy to this new expression… it wasn't sadness, that's for sure. Though, all indications he knew on how to identify emotions made it seem so. It was truly just that—vulnerable—and he couldn't help but pay attention to it.

Amy took a quick breath and rose her arm up, suddenly showing a strength in her conviction to manifest her powerful feelings.

Again, Sonic followed the gesture with his eyes in slight amazement. No shame. Amy simply went ahead. He… he really didn't know what to think.

He looked to Tails as if he could interpret but he seemed just as confused as Sonic.

There was a silent conversation in the span of a second. How do we hear this out without getting uncomfortable? Even after she talks our ears off, how do we respond so she doesn't start bawling again?

It was as though Tails and Sonic confirmed their fears of engaging this side of Amy, but also revealed a brotherly look of—This is nuts.

"So many emotions I've been-" she suddenly started feeling it. Everything that had been bottled up for so long.

"Closing up inside yourself?" Sticks rose an eyebrow, as Amy again excitedly turned to her.

"Ah-ah! Yes! That's exactly it!" she lifted her arms up, happy to be understood somewhat.

"I just feel like I've been so lonely…" she looked towards her friends, then at the table with the scrapbook in front of it. "I've been pouring all my love out onto Bea… like a … a…" she looked at her hands, before Knuckles, still lightly patting Herman's crystal hide, spoke up as though understanding completely what was going on.

"Em-hmm. Em-hmm. Sounds like you were about to say, 'supplement'."

The gang turned to look back at him, somewhat puzzled by his actual sentence making sense.

"And how could you possibly know that, Knuckles?" Sonic asked, not seeming to believe he had conjured that one on his own.

"It's the 'baby brain' coming through." Knuckles nodded, bobbing a little to keep the crystal feeling his affectionate bouncing and letting it know it was loved. "Babies make you smarter." He then gestured to Amy, "Also, I'm pretty sure my empathy levels are through the roof right now, continue."

Tails shook his head, "That's-" he was about to comment that the theory he was basing his conclusions on was that mother's experience greater retention and brain cell activity after birth, but he decided to not give Knuckles the satisfaction of knowing he partially got something right. "Nevermind." He waved it off, turning back to Amy but looking exhausted already.

It was hard being the smartest member of your friend group, but he carried it with pride and handled it relatively well as far as he was concerned.

"Go on." Sonic seemed reluctant to let her continue but gestured for her to do so anyway.

"R-right." Amy adjusted herself and looked back through the scrapbook, whimpering with tears forming again in her eyes. "Bea may not be able to say it… but I could feel love emanating from her big, blue… bulb-lit eyes and it just-! Ah! It was so unconditional! I felt like after all these years… caring and taking care of people… that I was finally getting something back in return for all my efforts." She wiped some tears away before Tails looked slightly offended.

"Wait, are you suggesting you take care of us?"

"Oh, please, Tails. Like you'd survive two seconds without Amy." Sticks argued before the oven lit to life again with fire and the gang jolted back.

"AHHH!" they all ran around again, flailing uselessly before Amy got up, did exactly the same thing she did last time with putting it out and walked right back to her stool.

"I just really miss that… feeling so… relied on and important…" she placed a hand to her chest, then to the scrapbook with Bea and her's pictures inside it. "Bea never questioned my love… she never asked for anything, but I gave her everything." She started to sob again, and the gang looked to each other, finally settling down when the fire was out.

They huddled around Amy, embracing her as she looked around, slightly surprised by their actions but too heartbroken to look grateful for it.

Though she did feel it, the warmth of their tight embrace.

"We're all here for you, Amy." Tails stated.

"Yeah, and we're all in this together." Knuckles snuggled up with the gang, but Sticks was being poked in the eye by the Herman's 'arm'.

"We'll find Bea, Amy. Honest." Sonic tried to comfort too but was also being jabbed in the back by the crystal's jagged and protruding body.

They all seemed frustrated by Herman, but Knuckles just happily closed his eyes and let the hug happen.

"Yeah, we'll get that Eggman, just you wait! No pet-snatching hooligan is gonna make my friends cry!" Sticks moved her head away from the crystal and smiled down at Amy. "Besides, I'm sure he'll attack annnnny minute now." She smiled excitedly.

"Yeah… about that." Sonic looked around, as the gang began to move out of the hug. "Where is he?"

"HUG ME." Amy shivered and clung to the table. "NOW." Like a junkie without her drug.

Immediately, the gang flinched and embraced her again, fear striking their faces for a second.

"Ahhhh-hhhhaaa~" she melted back into the loving embrace and seemed content.

The team looked uneasy, not sure if they could now escape from this holding embrace…

Eggman was outside, having almost spoiled the moment with his entry, and held a tissue under his glasses on one eye. "Oh-ho-ho…" he cried, pulling the tissue away and blowing into it.

He let it fall over Cubot as Orbot spoke up, looking and gesturing up to him.

"Weren't you about to attack?" he questioned, "Truthfully, you've become a rather—pardon the expression—soft egg, Boss." Orbot shrugged, as Eggman just turned with a scoot from his sight.

"N-no." he sniffed. "There was just something in my eye… AHHH-HHAA-HAA!" he bawled. "I'll never get to talk about MY feelings!" he picked Cubot up and started crying on him, holding him close.

This action seemed to make Orbot float back in jealousy, surprised by his partner receiving such affection and not himself. "D-doctor Eggman! W-we're here for you." He tried to tenderly open his arms to show he would also hug his creator, but Eggman's back remained turned from him.

"WAHHH-HAA-HAA! You'll only judge me!"

"Woah, there's a big caterpillar in this handkerchief, you guys!" Cubot announced, his arms dangling to the side before rising to his face. "Oh! It's suck on my eye!"
