Summary: I did this for a friend of mine who would write me on my mission :) Hope you enjoy it! I thought it was pretty cute x3c

Amy falls hopelessly to the ground in a sigh, looking up at the sky where the camera is angled and seems kinda sad. "Not here either…" she states, and rolls to the side, hands by her head. "He wasn't at the lake, Angel island, Station Square… Oh, Sonic… where are you?" she slightly pulls her body more into a curl, feeling like she really didn't know where to search next. A small flower slowly moved within the breeze, as she looked sadly up to it, and uncurled to reach gently out for it.
She just brushed the tips on her hand against it, "Where are your friends… huh?" she asked, sadly, seeing it was alone and looking back to it. "Don't you have someone you're waiting for?"
"…What are you doing?"
Amy jolted and turned around, seeing a familiar blue hedgehog, looking down at her as if he thought her weird, looking confused as his hands rested on his hips, bending down just a ways away to see her laying down as she was.
"I mean, I knew you were crazy, but talking to flowers?" he shook his head and leaned up, the same odd look in his face, "That's just a whole new level of weird."
His words were drowned out by the ringing in her ears, her eyes sparkled as she felt her whole body serge with energy, her heart pounding, as she jumped up in glee to grab him. "SOOONNIIICCC!"
"AHHH!" Sonic jumped back but ended up trying to brace himself against her force, but slightly failing as he jumped on one leg to keep himself from falling over.
Comically, he did end up falling straight over after 2 or 3 hops, and Amy rubbed her head up against his cheek. "OHHH! I KNEW I'D FIND YOU!"
"Found me? Heh, I found you." Sonic rolled his eyes, and tried to gently pry her off him. "What were you saying to your flower just now?"
"Huh?" Amy looked back at the flower. "Oh…" she got up on her knees, as the two looked over to it, just sitting up. "It… looked lonely…" she admitted, her ears dropping, as Sonic noticed her sad tone from her usual cheery one, like the one from a moment ago when she tackled him to the ground.
"…" he stared at her a moment, but she quickly responded with a smile.
"I was keeping it company." she beamed.
His face studied hers for a moment, before he closed his eyes and tilted his head down, smiling knowingly.
He looked back up at her and seemed to carry a kinder look upon his face, along with a reassuring smile. "So was I." he stated, looking directly to Amy. "I felt she needed a friend."
Amy batted her eyes in startlement. "Huh? But… b-but you weren't even here." she stated.
He closed his eyes and returned his head to being tilted to the ground, turning away and then getting up, seeing as she didn't get what he was trying to convey. "Nevermind. Hey, you hungry?"
Amy gasped, "Oh, I'm starving!" She jumped up, giggling. "So… will you go on a dinner date with me..?" she cutely put her hands behind her back, as he rolled his eyes.
"Eating together doesn't mean we ARE together, Amy…" he looked back to her, a bit of a 'no nonsense' kinda expression.
"But we CAN eat together~ teehee!" Amy skipped ahead as Sonic's sight followed her off screen. He sighed again and shook his head, walking off after her.
"Why can't we just have a normal 'hanging out together' huh?" he muttered.
"CAUSE I'M YOU'RE GIRLFRIEND AND I WILL NOT BE GROUPED TOGETHER WITH THE SAME LEVEL OF FRIENDSHIP AS TAILS!" Amy cried back, a good mile away it seemed, as Sonic jolted and cried back.
"How..!? HOW DID YOU HEAR THAT?!"
