Against the Elements

Kai screamed as ice coiled its self within him and he doubled over, clutching his head. He knew the feeling all too well now, the biting cold, the headaches, the whispers in the back of your mind. But the worst part would always be when they took over your body, made you do things you didn't want to do. Set in season five.

6. Chapter 6

"Lloyd!" Kai yelped. Lloyd understood almost instantly.

"The Aeroblade!" Lloyd yelled, Kai tossed it to him. Kai summoned his dragon, Lloyd jumped on and they raced to Morro and Wu. Lloyd had always down played how good he was with long range weapons, so it wasn't surprising that he managed to cut off the tentacle without hitting Morro. Lloyd managed to grab Morro's arm and pulled him up away from the water. Wu's froze in shock; Kai holds the dragon steady, as Lloyd tries to keep his grip on Morro, who stares up at them with confusion. Morro was still too close to the water for comfort of course that was when Morro lost his grip on the realm crystal.

"The crystal!" Morro yelped, struggling to keep his grip on it. It bounced on Morro's fingers, but he didn't quite catch it. Morro wriggled and tugged trying to get the crystal.

"The crystal is water proof. You're not." Lloyd snapped, trying to keep his grip on the ghost, "So stop struggling and help me."

Morro stared at Lloyd but listened to him and they managed to get Morro on to Kai's dragon. Lloyd made sure Morro wasn't going to fall before he jumped off of the dragon and plunged into the sea, when he came back up water was streaming down his face but he had the realm crystal. Wu's offered his hand to Lloyd and Lloyd accepted in and climbed onto the back of Wu's dragon.

"Meet you back at the ferry." Kai said.

Wu nodded, and flicked the reins to his dragon.

When they landed, everyone stared at Lloyd, Kai and Wu like they were crazy.

Morro rubbed his hands over his face. "Why?"

Kai glanced at Lloyd. Lloyd nodded.

"You didn't deserve to die again." Kai said.

Lloyd nodded, "Also Kai and I have been inside your head, so we know that you need a second chance."

"I'm sure Master Wu wouldn't mind having you back." Kai added.

Morro glanced at Wu,

"You're welcome to the monastery." Wu said.

Morro sighed. "I'll stay."

Wu couldn't help it, he hugged Morro. The ghost let out a surprised squeak. Kai and Lloyd watched with satisfied smiles on their faces.
