itsnicky13 asked:
Heeeeey 😄 can yo do #1 with Silver and Blaze? 🙈
cutegirlmayra answered:
Awww, I sure can!
Prompt:
Flying from building to building, Silver soared lightly as Blaze jumped from building to building.
Sooner or later, he suddenly didn't see her in the corner of his eye, and worry came creeping into his mind.
He looked behind him, stopping his advancement. "Blaze?" he searched the ground.
"D…Down here." Blaze waved up to him, seeming to have hurt herself.
He narrowed his eyes, and flew downward, bending down to see her injuries.
"It was a bad step. I should have been more careful." she admitted, but wasn't taking it seriously.
"Your ankle looks swollen." his face turned more severe, and she held hers down slightly, realizing he saw right through her bluff.
"You've had this for quite some time now." Silver got up. "When?"
"….Yesterday." she sighed out, turning away from him. "Ugh, you're so naive. We shouldn't be worrying about-"
"I have every right to worry about it!"
She looked up, shooting her head up in an instant after his powerful, emotional outburst.
"Silver… y-you need to calm down."
"This is every bit my concern! What if Iblis appeared?! You'd be burnt to a crisp in this condition." he gestured out to the lava below and flames encircling the city.
"…We don't have time to sit still then and wait for a bruised ankle." she looked just as stubborn as him, and get up, before faltering and falling towards him.
He immediately caught her with his powers, and turned her around to her back, holding her from behind.
"I think it's best we at least sit this next hour out. See how you're doing then."
His arms… weren't uncomfortable… but her pride was getting bruised.
"I don't need you to nurture me." she looked away.
"I'm not trying too. But I do believe you need a friend."
Her eyes looked straight ahead, as if that meant something to her.
He jumped up, and slowly flew backwards with his arms around her, carrying her down.
Flying to a seemingly safe enough room in an abandoned building, burning with smoke still from all the flames, he wiped his sweat and quickly drew some water out from their rations.
"Ah! Silver, you shouldn't-" she protested at first, but he cupped the water in his hands.
"Don't argue about this. It's important you stay hydrated."
"I..It's just a hurt ankle." she slightly twitched, but her heart felt tendered by his actions.
He held his hand up to her mouth.
"I… I can drink it myself." she held out her hands.
He nodded, and poured what he could into her hands, as she drank that, and he tried to suck the remaining moisture from his gloves.
She looked concerned, "Aren't you going to drink too?"
He walked back to the rations. "I'll be fine. I'll get a drink later."
Suddenly, he heard a sniff.
He turned around, "B-Blaze?"
She gritted her teeth, holding her hand up to her face.
A brick had slid off the ceiling as silently as nightfall, but it hit her directly on her ankle…
"AH!" Silver dashed over, hovering over her and using his power to remove the brink, then glared up above him.
"This building isn't just melting, it's also falling apart!"
"…Ergh…"
"Blaze…" Silver looked down, seeing her hand gripping the soot covered sheets of the bed…
"…Hang on, Blaze.. just hold on."
He scooped his hands under her.
Taking the rations, he flew through the red and black skies, before landing within a volcano.
The volcano had weeds that they called flowers growing there, since it was unactive and now a safe haven for them when they were injured.
More so… after a battle, but he felt this was better than a collapsing building.
"Thank you.. Silver." Blaze was set down, but her arm remained up, still covering her eyes.
He stared at her a moment.
"…Blaze…" he slowly reached up to her arm.
"Don't-!" she turned away, biting down hard and almost hurting her jaw at doing so.
"…Blaze?"
It was softer, so much kinder,… as if he was asking permission than demanding this time.
She peeked up, her eyes twitching in pain.
His expression was soft, full of care.
She lost her anger a moment, and softly let her arm go down.
His eyes widened.
He had never seen tears on her cheeks before…
"It was a moment of weakness. I… I felt ashamed." Blaze turned her head away, closing her eyes.
Silver hesitated a hand, but it twitched forward, begging to move.
He then slowly reached out for her, and with a finger, got hold of a tear on her cheek, examining it.
"…Weakness..?" he breathed out, amazed she would call it that.
Blaze turned to look at him.
"…It's…"
"Beautiful."
She caught a noise from her mouth, and slightly had some faint red on her cheeks.
"Y-..You think crying is beautiful?" she slightly chuckled, looking down and shaking her head. "You really are naive."
"N-no! honest! L-look!" he held the precious gift of sparkling purity up to her face. "With water so scarce, how could you call a tear a waste?"
"…I could have held it in to retain moisture. Now I'll get even more dehydrated." she used logic against him, but did so in a more teasing way, not trying to be critical or harsh, though it came off as mocking him.
He looked sad she didn't see it the way he did, and pulled it back to his side, as it meant a lot to him.
"…I suppose… you'll keep holding your feelings in then… is that correct?" he looked away.
She was startled by that question, "What notion are you assuming I'm doing!?" she turned back to him.
He flinched, "I-I meant no offense! I was just saying.. maybe.. you hold back more than you should?" he got up, squishing the tear in his fingers, rubbing it, before rubbing it to a weed, hoping it would grow from some moisture, before stepping away.
"All things need water to live. This is true. But I also believe that all things have to let go of what's inside them… to help the world around them." he looked up, gazing at the horrific sky.
It was all he'd ever known.
"I think… that crying is beautiful… because it gives the world back something it longs for."
Blaze's eyes shook, it was so poetic… but she was sure he wasn't meaning to be deep about it.
"What… what does the world long for… in a tear?" she was genuinely curious about what he'd say…
He held his head straight, before turning back to her, and smiling.
"Compassion."
She froze.
"The world needs someone that cares."
That was it.
She started to let her pains and feelings run down her cheeks.
She looked down, chuckling through her silent rolling tears, before turning back to him, smiling warmly at him.
"Then… I shall not hold back."
He stared, thinking her the most beautiful creature that ever walked by his side.
(aww, this one got my shipper feels going xD)
