Their New Life

The Mistress of Death and Master of Life went by many different names along with being reborn into different families in different times. No matter how many lives they went through, their original names stuck with them. In their original life, their names were Catalina Potter-Black and Asher Lestrange-Malfoy. Catalina is the child of James Fleamont Potter and Lily Potter nee Evans and the godchild of Sirius Black and Remus Lupin. Asher is the child of Rabastan Lestrange and Addilyn Lestrange nee Selwyn and the godchild of Lucius Malfoy and Narcissa Malfoy nee Black. Catalina was once known as the Girl Who Lived and Asher was known as the Dark Child because of his father. They both were also known as the Ones Who Wouldn't Die. Ironic isn't it? Seeing as they both are immortal.

In their first life, Catalina and Asher were married and although many people supported them, some didn't. Catalina died at the age of 110 with her family surrounding her as she took her last breath. Asher died at the age of 115 with his family surrounding him as well as she took his last breath. They both were expecting to reunite with their families, their parents, and godparents, but instead, they met an attractive man and woman. The man's aura radiated darkness and death, while the woman's aura radiated power and life. They had given them both an option, once they were reconnected with each other. Those options were to either move to the afterlife and be with their family, stay by their side, or be reborn constantly with their powers and knowledge still intact and able to learn more as they go. The deity knew they loved the thrill of danger and adventures and the need to protect and fight. So their choice was easy to come by.

As the years went on they entered a new life as either small children or newborn babies. They are always together in every life so they were always together. They got to choose when to pass on to another life whenever they got bored with the life they were living and wanted another adventure. They came up with a system that one would go first, then the other would wait a few years then go. They lived over 1000 years on earth and they gained more knowledge and became more powerful, which was a great benefit for them both. They both became many things. They both became light leaders, auroras, death eaters, dark leaders and so much more. They even became the headmistress and a deputy headmaster of Hogwarts. Each of their lives had ups and downs but they had each other and Mortem and Nyssa, aka death and life, who was their companion inside of their heads most of the time.

Each of their lives had been hand-picked by Mortem and Nyssa. However, Fate, or what the couple calls her "Auntie Te", had a different plan and decided to create a different dimension to put them in with the promise of danger and adventures. Neither the couple nor Mortem knew what the deity had planned, but imagine their surprise when they were the only ones with magic.

They were born in the mundane version of the LeFays and Rosiers. The two families were close so Catalina and Asher were together at all times. The couple were the only children in both families and their fathers were the only parents they got along with. Their mothers were drunks who didn't want anything to do with them. Their mothers rather party with each other than take care of them and spend time with their husbands. Luckily Catalina and Asher had appeared in the bodies of Asher Rosier and Catalina LeFay and matured, somewhat, at the age of 14. Unfortunately, they only had seven years with their fathers before they both were killed in a shooting. They were already 21 at the time and were independent so replying to their mothers, who were absent most of their lives, was never an option for them. At the age of nineteen, they both moved to Georgia, United States from London, England where they found a LeFay and Rosier manor. Which was gifted from Auntie Te and Mortem.

Their peaceful and quiet mundane lives went to shit in 2010, a few months after their twenty-third birthdays. Mortem and Nyssa were furious at their sister, Fate, because none of them was warned about the zombie apocalypse that had broken out all over the world. Thankfully, Asher and Catalina were immune from the virus that caused the dead to start walking around. Fate felt terrible for putting her niece and nephew in this predicament, so she gifted them with multiple things.

One was a large magical motorhome that had twelve bedrooms, thirteen bathrooms with working showers, and a fully working kitchen along with it being unable to break and never run out of gas. Their second gift was two all-black motorcycles, one Indian for Catalina and one Yamaha for Asher, which were gifts they received from one of their fathers in another life. Their last two gifts were put together by Fate, Nyssa, and Mortem, it was a trunk with many compartments and two bottomless bags that were filled with uncountable weapons and unlimited amounts of ammo, knives, and arrows/bolts. Their favorite weapons were their swords and crossbows. Cat's all-time favorite was her snake bracelet that turns into a whip.

The trunk has multiple compartments within it. One was filled with medical potions in case of an emergency and they need it, it's all under a preservation charm to keep everything fresh. The next one was filled with clothes of all sizes for both genders, just in case they run into someone who needs them. The third one was for food that they collected while being away from their manor. Which is usually weeks at a time. The fourth one is filled with items that will come in handy, like their ten-bedroom magical tent and their shared invisibility cloak. The last one is the one that holds their small four-bedroom apartment. The Rosier property was added to the LeFay property with an extra 400 acres with mundane and magical animals and more house-elves.

Asher and Catalina stayed inside their manors for about a month after the apocalypse happened. They are quite bored and they only have themselves and the house elves and their animals for company.

"Why don't you two go and explore? There could be some people that need some help." Mortem suggested to them, while they were currently sitting on one of the couches in their living room, talking to each other while trying to figure out what to do. Catalina leaned back on the couch and looked out the window at the beautiful property they owned.

"I mean I guess we could. We could go into the city. What do you think, Cat?" Asher asked his wife.

"Maybe." she hummed to herself. She was debating if it was a good idea or not. The last thing they heard was that the city was overrun with the dead, even if they both could walk through them and not be detected. It's the smell of them Catalina couldn't stand.

"Think of this as an adventure. We all know how much you like the thrill of it." Nyssa sang playing in their head. Earning a fond eye-roll from both of them.

"Sure, let's go, Ash." Catalina told her husband. With a snap of her fingers, she was dressed in black high-waisted jeans with chains hanging off her belt loops, black biker boots, black top as well as her black leather jacket. Asher dressed in black jeans and a belt, black biker boots, a black shirt, and his blue leather jacket. Catalina put her medium-length black hair in a braided bun, while Asher's hair was still short.

"Missy, Dobby!" Asher called out to their old-time friends, who had been gifted to them by Mortem and Nyssa when they passed away from their first life. Dobby had died from saving the lovers from Bellatrix and Missy had died saving them from a Death Eater that cast a spell from behind them, at the Malfoy Manor. Two of the hardest deaths they dealt with.

"Yes Catalina, Asher?" Missy spoke. They both are different from before. They are well-spoken and calmer. They are both fully bonded to us, making them taller healthier, and happier.

"Catalina and I are leaving the manor. We're not quite sure when we'll be back" Catalina said.

"If one of us calls, please come as quickly as possible," Asher said after Catalina.

"Of course, Asher, Catalina" Dobby responded with a smile before disappearing. Leaving the married couple smiling.

Asher summoned their bottomless bags and sunglasses. They put their sunglasses on while walking out of the manor to their motorhome. Leaving to go into the city.
