Chapter Two: Let's get this Nightmare over with!

Disclaimer: As always, I sadly don't own the Scream franchise. All belongs to the late, Wes Craven, R.I.P. I only own, Tiffany and her parents. R&R, please!

A/N: I meant to do this in the last chapter, and I had forgotten to add it. Here is the summary for my version of, Scream 2. Enjoy reading!

Summary: It's been a year since, Tiffany Riley, moved away from her small quiet town of, Woodsboro. For her and a few of her friends, it wasn't so quiet. A year ago, her boyfriend, Stu Marcher, and his best friend, Billy Loomis, went around killing her cousin and a few of their friends. Now, Tiffany, Randy, and Sidney, are at Windsor college, just trying to get through life. However, for our survivors, the nightmare seems to just keep following them wherever they go. The killings are starting again. Will they escape the horrors, once more?

As I was saying goodbye to my cousin to get to one of my other classes, Randy came over to us.

"Deputy Dewey, my man. How's it going?" Randy greets.

They did the bro hug, or whatever you call it when guys, "hug."

"Randy Meeks, I'm doing alright, all things considering. And it's just Dewey now." Dewey mentions.

"Ah, uh right. It's good to see you, it has been a while."

"Yes, it has been. You been keeping up with your studying?"

"I have been and keeping this one out of trouble." Randy says, nudging me with his elbow.

I gave him a 'whatever' type of look.

"It's more like the other way around, I think."

We all laugh.

"As long as you three are staying out of trouble." Dewey said.

"Well, with everything going on again, we are going to have too." Randy says.

"I just hope, whoever the killer is or are, they aren't trying to do a copycat or something." I spoke.

"Like I told you and Sid earlier, he, she, or they, could already been in your lives. Just keep an extra eye out on your classmates and the people around you, alright?" Dewey asks of us.

"I have my eye on one guy already." Randy states.

"Oh, come on, I really doubt that it's Derek." I tell him, already knowing who he was thinking.

"Yeah, that's what we thought about, Billy too, remember? I was the only one that seen who he truly was."

"Derek never knew Sidney before we came here. Billy had a motive; I don't think Derek does."

"Alright you two, knock it off." Dewey says, stepping in between us.

Randy and I just look at one another in, a mugging way. Not mugging, but still are.

"It was nice seeing you, Dewey. I need to get to class. I'll see you around, right?" I ask him.

"Of course. If the killer's around, I am too." Dewey says.

We all say goodbye to one another. As Randy and I walk to our next class for the day, he turns to me.

"So, the Delta Lambda Zeta are having a party tonight. Do you want to go? He asks.

He should know this answer by now.

"No, Randy, you know I don't like parties."

"Aww, come on. It's the start of term. Give it shot."

"Randy. No." I said sternly, as he gotten in front of me.

"What does a guy have to do to get his, best friend, to go to a party with him?"

"Why, are you being so persistent about this?"

"I'm just trying to get you out there, to live a life."

"I am Randy. In my own way. Let's get to class."

"Alright then, hear me out. If you go to this one tonight, I won't ever ask you to go to another one again."

I gave him a look of annoyance.

"If I say, yes, then would you stop bothering me?"

He nods his head eagerly. I sighed.

"Fine, I'll go. On one condition." I held my finger up. "You'll have to keep me filled on drinks to get through the night and you can't leave me alone. Only when you leave to get me drinks." I tell him, smiling.

"Fine, you got yourself a deal."

We made it to our next class before it started. Once it ended, we told each other we would meet outside of the DLZ house, before walking in. I was going to regret this night the next day, I know that for a fact. I just went ahead and worn my same clothes that I did for the day to the party. I wasn't there to please anyone, so why bother changing? So, I just dropped my backpack at my dorm room and went to the sorority house. Randy, however, arrived in a different outfit.

"My lady." He held his arm out for me to loop mine around.

"Let's get this nightmare over with." I sighed.

Before walking into the sorority house, the music could be heard outside blaring from the speakers. Students were going in and out of the house. I wish I could be walking out, instead of in.

"Hey, just getting here?"

Mickey asks, as we walked through the door.

"Unfortunately." I sighed and rolled my eyes.

He laughs slightly.

"Come on, lighten up, it's a party."

"Yeah well, the last party I was at, I was stabbed, and half of my friends and cousin died." I said bluntly.

"Way to lighten up the mood." He says, sounding disappointed.

I smiled at him mockingly. Randy came over to us with two red solo cups.

"Thank god." I say, taking one of the cups and tried to gulp it down.

"Easy Tiff." Randy warns.

I roll my eyes. Drinking the rest of the mystery drink. Randy sighs, going to get another and keeping his promise. He comes back, making me promise to go easy again. Sidney, Derek, and Hallie show up.

"See, party life can be good. This is safe, and fun." I hear Hallie say, coming up to the small group.

"Hallie, I think your psych major is getting to your head. I'm fine." Sidney says.

"You know that's beginning to become your theme song. "I'm fine.
Yeah, neurotic, insecure, and fucked up." Hallie comments.

"How about you experience what we've been through, Hallie, then come find me." I flat out tell her.

"Tiffany, wasn't expecting you here." Sidney says, trying to defuse the tension.

"You can blame him." I pointed to, Randy.

"Sidney, you made it!" Lois came strolling over to us.

'Kill. Me. Now.'

"Hi! No, I really mean that, hi!" Murphy follows up.

"Hi." Sidney replies, not being thrilled.

"Do you girls want a drink?" Lois asks.

"Yeah, but you know what, we'll get it." Hallie says.

"I already have one, thanks." I said, showing them my cup.

We ended up being in the backyard patio, trying to avoid the heaviness of the crowd.

"Here are your drinks." Randy comes back over handing, Sidney and Hallie their drinks.

"About time." Sidney says, taking her drink.

"Yeah, well, you guys have given me a lot to think about. Thanks." Hallie says, talking to Lois and Murphy.

Sidney walks away towards Derek, leaving Murphy and Lois totally clueless. In which I find funny.

"Hey babe, wanna dance?" Mickey walks over to Hallie.

"Yeah, with that tall, broad shoulder one over there." Hallie walks towards the other guy, leaving Mickey astonished.

"The Empire Strikes Back. Better story, improved effects." Mickey brushes it off, turning towards Randy.

"Not a sequel, part of an original planned trilogy." Randy tells him.

"He is right on that one, though, Randy. The Empire Strikes Back is a good one out of the three. Everyone should know that." I tell him.

"The Ewoks, they blow." Mickey comments.

"Really, the Ewoks? Out of the whole movie franchise characters, the Ewoks?" I question him.

"What, they're badass!"

I laughed at his antics.

"Hey guys, something is up at Omega Beta Zeta, police are everywhere!" Lois yells, coming inside.

"Hurry!" Murphy follows.

Everyone begins to leave the house.

"I didn't mean to break up the party!" Lois shouts at the laving guest.

"Come on, get your jacket, let's get you home." Derek tells Sid, as we stood by the door.

Randy and Mickey had followed the crowd. So much for Randy keeping his promise. While, Derek, Sidney and I stayed behind at the house, I could see the police cars just down the street. Sidney walks back in the house to grab her jacket. I hear the phone start ringing from inside the house.

"You about ready?" Derek asks.

"Almost." Sidney replies.

We smiled at each other. I follow her slightly inside the house, wanting to get warm as it was cold outside. I see that Sidney picks the phone up. I'm close by, only able to hear her half of the conversation.

"Hello? What, do you want?"

It almost sounds like she knows the person on the other end. I turned my back from the door facing Sidney, my arms crossed and watching in curiosity.

"Then, why don't you show your face, you fucking coward!

'Wait, what?'

I hear the door shut behind me. Coming to my worst nightmare, the ghost-face killer was in front of me, with the door shut behind them.

"My pleasure!" He shouts.

"Tiffany!" Sidney shouts.

"Ahhh!" I scream, as he shoves me out of the way.

I hit my head hard on something on the wall.

"Derek!" Sidney yells.

The room is getting dizzy, and I was lightheaded. I tried to shake it off. I opened my eyes in time to see, Sidney, turning around to see the killer come after her as she pushes the killer out of the way. The killer lunges for Sidney but stabs through the door instead. Sidney runs through the house, disappearing from my sight. I get to my feet to run after them but had to catch myself on something before falling over.

"No Derek, don't!" I heard Sid yell.

'Shit, was Randy, right?'

"Sid!" I hear Dewey yell out from somewhere.

"Tiffany!" Randy yells, seconds later.

"Dewey! The killer's inside, Derek ran after him. Tiff is in there too. I think she's hurt."

Oh good, Derek wasn't the killer. I hear glass breaking and Derek yelling. As I was trying to stay standing, my legs had other plans. I slowly collapsed to the ground.

"Oh god!"

I wasn't sure who that was. Minutes later, the killer is running through the front of the house. He spots me for a second, but running footsteps are being heard from the hall and the killer books it for the front door.

"Derek!"

"Where did he go?" Dewey asks.

"That way!" Derek says.

"Sidney, he's in here!" Dewey yells back.

"Tiffany!" I hear Randy shout.

Seconds later both Randy and Dewey are running through the hallway the way killer came from. I was blinking rapidly, trying to reel this oncoming headache. Randy rushes over to my side.

"Hey, are you alright?" He asks.

"Room is spinning. Either then that, I'm alright." I somehow managed to say.

"Is she alright?" Dewey asks.

"I think she might have a concussion." Randy says, checking my bump.

"Since when are you a doctor?" I joked.

"Yeah, she's fine." I hear a little laughter in his voice.

"I'm sorry." Randy says, helping me stand up.

I looked at him confused.

"I should've stayed with you I broke my promise, and I left to go see what was going on at the other house."

"Randy, if you would've stayed, something bad might've happened to you."

The police from next door came over a few minutes later, as did the ambulance. Dewey came over to check on me after he helped Sidney with Derek.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" He asks.

"Tired, head hurts. Not sure if it's from the drinks or the banging against the wall" I reply.

"They'll get that taken care of." Dewey reassures, with his signature smile.

Paramedics came and checked on me, before putting me in the same ambulance, Derek was in. I looked down to notice his arm was wrapped up and blood was seeping through the bandaged.

"Tiff, are you okay?" He asks.

"I should be asking you that."

"Heh, this isn't that bad. They said, I'll be needing a few stitches. How about you?"

"Damn bastard pushed me, they said, I might've hit my head on the stick candle holder on the wall."

"Shit, I'm sorry."

"Why are you sorry?"

"I was right there, and all that happened to you and Sid."

"It's not the first time, Derek. Don't beat yourself up."

He smiles, the ambulance doors closed, and we were on our way to the hospital. We got checked in, Derek was getting his stitches in, while I was waiting to get into the CT room to get my head scanned. A police officer came over to get both of our statements. We gave them to him, right before he left. Dewey, Sidney, Mickey, Hallie, and Randy came in. The officer had seen them and thanked us for our time before walking towards them.

"Hey, what's going on?" Randy asks.

"I've been waiting for about thirty minutes for a CT scan."

He sat with me until a male nurse came over and wheeled me into the CT room. Randy wanted to come with me, but the nurse told him no, I also told him that I would gone for only a few minutes. Which I was right of course. They wheeled me back out to the ER; the scene was still the same as it was when I left.

"I'm gonna get some coffee, you wanna go with?" Hallie asked Mickey.

Mickey shakes his head, no.

"You want some Sid?"

Sidney nods no, as Mickey sits down next to me. Randy insisted that he was going to go and get something for us to eat. I smiled as he left.

"How are you holding up, are you okay?"

"Trying my best," I said. "Somehow, I knew that this was coming, I knew that this wasn't over. As I was beginning to not sleep with one eye open."

I pinched the bridge of my nose from stress. Or was it from my headache?

"You're not alone."

I smiled at him.

"So, what happened at the Omega Beta Zeta?"

"You didn't hear?"

I shake my head no. Even though I was there, the news wasn't quite clear when, Lois, came into tell everyone what had happened.

"C.C, was killed. I'm guessing the killer went there before attacking you two."

"That poor girl." I was shocked.

"Yeah, I know." Micky says.

"You know what, Derek did go after the killer like that. He could have been killed too." I realized.

"But he wasn't, he needs to realize that the 90's are no time to play hero. Why would anyone go back into that house?"

I shrugged. He does have a point though. Why, would Derek go running back into the house, with the killer still inside? I know it was to help Sidney, but wasn't she already out of the house before he went in? I wasn't sure since I was still a little out of it.

Randy came back with some cafeteria food, and Hallie came back with the coffee. Randy got me just a plain turkey and cheese sandwich with a can of sprite.

"Thanks, Randy."

He was eating the same thing as I was. An hour later, a doctor came with my CT scan results telling me, I was okay, and just had a slight concussion. He told me to take it easy the next couple days and get plenty of rest. Everyone had left already except for, Randy. Dewey took Sidney back to the campus with Mickey, Hallie, and Derek as it was getting late. Sidney wanted to stay, but I told her to go back and get some rest. Dewey came back ten minutes ago, to make sure I was alright and to take us back to campus too.

"Finally, home away from home." Randy says, stretching out from the car.

"Let's get you back to your dorms." Dewey spoke.

"Thanks Dewey, but you don't have to do this." I tell him.

"Hey, you're my little cousin. You were just attacked tonight; I'm going to get you back home safely. No, acceptations."

I had to smile and loved that big brother side of Dewey. We walked Randy back to his dorm first.

"See you in class?" Randy asks.

"I'll see you then."

"Call, if you need anything."

"Will do, Rands."

"Take care, Randy." Dewey says.

"You too, Dewey."

We make sure he was inside of the building before we walked towards mine.

"So, don't be surprised if two bodyguards show up sometime tomorrow." Dewey explains.

"At this point, I don't think anything surprises me anymore."

We make it to my building. Men weren't aloud in the building, even family members.

"We will catch this guy, Tiff. I promise you."

"I'm just so tired, Dewey. I thought by leaving Woodsboro, I was leaving it all behind me. We all did. Who would want to do this, again?"

"I wish I had an answer for you. I really wish, I did." He sighs.

He came forward and embraced me into a hug. I gladly accepted it, needing that after what happened tonight. I feel like with the two of us, we have been doing this a lot lately. It's still the first day that he came into town, too.

"Thanks, Dewey. For everything today."

We pulled away from the hug.

"Don't need to thank me. I'm here for you and Sid, no matter what."

"Still for what it's worth, I'm glad you're here." I smiled up at him.

"Me too. Now, get to bed." He smiles, ear to ear.

"Yes, dad."

"Please, don't call me that."

"You walked into it."

He sighs.

"Goodnight, Tiffany."

"Goodnight, Dewey."

I walk into the building making sure the door closed and watched Dewey walk away until I couldn't see him anymore. Feeling my head pounding for the millionth time, I make my way to my dorm room and unlocking the door. Walking in, I turn on the lights, lock the door, take my shoes off, hung my keys and jacket up by the door. I walk into the kitchen filling a glass with water, taking the pain medication the good doctor prescribed me.

I get ready for bed while the pills takes effect. I put on my sweats and a random t-shirt, brushed my hair and teeth. I go back out to the kitchen to grab an ice pack for the bump on the back of my head. I usually shut my lights off at night but decided to keep the lamp on my desk on. I lay on my bed and let the pain killers, take their full effect.

A/N: This one might seem short and just straight to the point with things, but I wasn't sure what to do exactly. I don't want to keep taking all of, Sidney's scenes, as she still is the main character for this story. A feedback is always welcomed!
