Q & A
"Get out here." Seto glared at the empty air in the white room.
"No! I didn't really think they would ask any questions." Tay shouts from behind some sort of white wall.
"Shut up and get out here!"
Reluctantly, Tay enters the room and sighs. "Fine. Let's just get this over with."
Snapping her fingers, a chair and a couch appear out of nowhere. Tay takes the chair while Seto and Ana take the couch.
"So, a couple of people asked some questions." Tay pulls a clipboard from thin air and starts reading it. "The first one is from CherylMander from Wattpad. The question is for Seto."
"Why me?" Seto snaps.
"Amin-chan, the main reason they read the fanfiction is because of you." Ana sighs and rolls her eyes.
"Oh. Well, I guess that's true." He looks smug.
Tay sighs and continues. "The question is: 'Why does Seto hate Yugi and will he ever get over his title being taken away from him?'"
Ana snickers, and Seto glares at Tay.
"Hey, I'm not the one asking. So just answer already." Tay glares back.
"Fine. The first part of that question was why I hate Yugi? I don't hate him, he's just annoying and won't mind his own frickin' business." Seto crosses his arms and growls. "As for the second part of the question, when did he ever take a title from me?"
"I'm going to say they meant when are you going to get over not being able to take the title from Muto-san." Ana smirks at him.
"I'mgoing to beat him! I will." Seto glares at Ana, who just shrugs.
Tay moves on. "Ok, the next questions all come from from fanfiction. It's a good thing I'm writing this interview and not saying it out loud because I have no idea how to pronounce your name. Anyway, the first question is for Ana."
Ana tenses up and laughs nervously. "Really? They aren't all for Seto?"
"Nope. So, the question is 'If you could dye Seto's hair any color (that isn't a natural color), and he had to wear it like that to school for two weeks, what color would it be?'"
Ana pauses and stares at Seto, who looks a bit annoyed. Finally, she turns back to Tay and says, "Silver."
Seto looks at her, confused. "Why silver?"
Ana grins at him. "Because then I get to see if you'll look good when your hair turns color when you're older."
Seto looks a little taken aback. "Are you planning on dating me that long?"
Ana blushes. "That's not what I…"
"Would silver be a non-natural color?" Tay tilts her head in confusion.
Ana shrugs and won't look at Seto. "I take it back. Pink because I know it would piss him off the most."
Seto pokes Ana lightly in the shoulder while smirking. "You didn't answer. Are you planning on dating me that long?"
Ana turns back to Tay, steaming. "Next question!"
Seto looks rather pleased while Ana sits in her seat with her arms crossed and her leg bouncing.
Tay clears her throat. "Right…. Next question is for Seto."
"Why me again?" Seto groans.
Tay ignores him. "Do you ship Joey with Minami? If so, what do you think their relationship would be like?"
Seto stares at Tay blankly. "Who's Minami?"
Both Ana and Tay face palm in unison.
"Amin-chan, she was that pink haired freshman idol. You know, the one I literally fought with." Ana reminded him.
"Oh, her. Was I supposed to remember her name?" Seto rolled his eyes.
Ana sighs. "Just answer the question."
"Well, I don't really understand why I would put Joey and that girl on a ship together. Where are they going?" Seto looks honestly confused. "What kind of stupid question is that?"
"Amin-chan, sometimes you're the dumb one. Don't be mean to the readers."
Seto frowns at Ana. "How so? And I'm mean to everyone but you."
Ana rolls her eyes. "To ship someone is to pair them together romantically."
"Oh. Wait, what? Why the heck would I ever pair Joey romantically with someone? That's just torture for the other person." Seto grimaces.
Tay laughs awkwardly. "Right, next question. Seto—"
Seto snaps. "Again?"
"What would you do if you walked in on Ana kissing Yugi (on the lips) right after you won the tournament?"
Seto freezes and his eyes grow wide, but before he can say anything, Ana jumps up. Her face is bright red as she glares at the Author. "Now wait a second! I know I said to ask Seto embarrassing questions, but this question makes me look bad. I would never, ever kiss Muto Yugi! I think it's pretty clear at this point that I have a type and it's not Muto Yugi. And if this is some sort of accidental troupe thing where I fall on top of him and our mouths touch, then I hope Amin-chan's not such an idiot to jump to conclusions before finding out what really happened."
Ana plopped back down on the couch, steaming.
"Uh…" Tay looks at Seto. "Do you have an answer for the question?"
Seto had been watching Ana rant and finally turns back to Tay, looking rather happy. "It wouldn't happen."
"The question is a what if—"
Seto says again, "It. Wouldn't. Happen."
"Right… Next question is for Ana. What would you do if you walked in on Seto kissing his blue eyes cards, one after the other?"
Seto frowns and looks at Ana, who's obviously holding back a smile.
"I guess I'd walk out and give him some privacy." Ana turns away from Seto, who looks rather put out.
"Alright then. Next question is for Seto. 'What do you think Dai-san would say if you told him ALL your plans (insert much wiggling of the eyebrows) with Ana?'"
Ana turns to Seto and tilts her head. "Plans? What plans? Have you made plans I don't know about?"
"I guess they mean the going to college together plans. I haven't made any past that." Seto shrugs. "How the frick' would I know what that old man would say? Wouldn't that have been a better question to ask Ana-chan? It's her grandpa."
Tay scratches her head and turns to Ana. "What do you think he would say?"
"He'd probably ask if we had the wedding planned too..." Ana looks concerned and Seto scowls.
Tay clears her throat. "Right. Next question is…. for me!? Really? Ugh, ok. 'Dear Author, if Kaiba and Ana were gender bent, do you think they would still get together?' Um…. That's not an easy question. Probably not because Seto as a girl… I just can't see it happening. Depending on how it's written though… Ok, here's what we'll do. If you, my readers, want to see what would happen upon Seto and Ana's first meeting gender bent, then tell me in the comments. If enough of you are interested, then I'll make it a special episode outside of the regular updates."
"Please don't." Ana and Seto both say in unison, looking like the life was sucked out of them.
Tay ignores their pleas and moves on. "Last question is to Ana. 'What would you say if Kaiba told you that he's gay, as an April fool's joke?'"
Ana looks at Seto and grins. "So that's what was really going on with you and Muto-san. Tell me, did you show him your blue eyes white dragon?"
Seto's eye twitches, and his face turns bright red. "I really hate you right now."
"So that's a no or maybe—"
"Shut up!"
Ana bursts out laughing. "That's exactly what would happen."
Seto grumbles under his breath.
"Well, that's all the questions. Thank you to the readers who took part in the Q and A. I know these couple episodes might have been annoying—"
Seto interrupts. "They most definitely hated them."
Tay sighs. "But I'm still grateful for all my readers and for sticking with me in the long creation of this story. I'm feeling much more stable after having a break and my writing fingers are tingling. Next week, we'll be back to regular story updates. Seto and Ana, thank you, too."
Seto glares at Tay. "No, I don't. This has been awful. Let's never do this again."
Ana grins up at Seto. "I found some of the questions to be entertaining."
"You mean entertaining at my expense… You still didn't answer me are you planning on dating me long enough to see my hair naturally change color?" A smile creeps onto his face. Ana looks away from him and doesn't answer.
Tay bows to the readers. "Until next week!"
