Sera's Chambers in the Municipal District of Heaven
Just as Sera was getting ready for bed she got a call on her direct line sighing she got up and answered "Hello, this is Sera." On the other end of the line, a voice responded "Hello Sara Seraphim. I have something important to tell you about Adam."
"I already know about this strange new fighting style he is training y'all in, Aikido wasn't it? Regardless, as long as it helps you crush those demons I am all for it." Sera said. "No ma'am, Adam and Lute have called off the extermination and went down to hell to meet with Lucifer's bastard," Sera growled in anger. How dare Adam betray her like this? She will not allow those damn demons to pollute her perfect afterlife. She finally calmed down and sternly replied "Thank you for telling me this. What is your name angel?" The voice happily said "Dahlia ma'am"
Sera smiled cruelly and said "Dahlia for your loyalty you are being promoted to commander of the exorcist forces and tomorrow morning you will lead a squad to arrest those traitors. They will be court-martialed, they will be found guilty, and they will be executed. Do I make myself clear?" Dahlia gleefully said "Thank you, ma'am. I won't let you down." Sera clicked off the line and finally laid down. She would dispose of those traitors and finally put an end to this foolish notion.
Lutes Chambers, Exorcist Training Facility
Adam slowly woke up, blinking away the cobwebs that came with sleep. He slowly sat up trying to remember the night before. He felt happy and content, he hadn't felt this way since Eve. He heard a small groan and looked over to see Lute still lost in the land of dreams. Smiling to himself the events of the previous night slowly came back to him. He remembered how right it all felt. Lute was able to help him move on from the pain and torment that had consumed him for years.
For that alone he would be eternally grateful. She looked so peaceful when she slept. He reached out and tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear. This action slowly caused Lute to stir. Looking up at her lover she smiled "Good Morning, Adam" Adam matched her grin "Good Morning, Lute. Did you sleep well?"
Lute blushed "Yes I did, thank you for a wonderful night." Adam adopted a melancholy look and slowly gained a sad but continent smile "I should be the one thanking you, Lute you helped me see past my blind rage. You helped me move on from the past and start looking toward a bright future… hopefully, one we can share." Lute slowly sat up and gave him a soft yet love-filled kiss "Whatever the future holds we shall face it together." All of a sudden they heard shouting and Lute's door was busted wide open. Five angels came into the room and leveled Angelic spears at them, telling them to not move.
In walked a final exorcist strangely wearing the symbol for a commander. "Don't recognize me? Perhaps this will shed some light on the subject" The 'commander' removed her mask and the smirking face of Dahlia was shown. Adam attempted to jump at her but was smacked to the floor by the butt of an exorcist's spear. Adam roared in anger "WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS, THIS IS TREASON!" Adam looked around at the gathered angels and pointed at Dahlia saying "Arrest the traitor"
Dahlia smiled wickedly "You heard him" The exorcists pointed their spears at him and Lute. Adam scowled looking at Dahlia "What?!" Dahlia pointed at him and then Lute "You are both traitors. You sided with those vile demons and betrayed your fellow angels. Look around 'Sir'" She grinned "I'm in charge now".

If you have nothing constructive or nice to say please do not leave a review at all. Don't like the story, don't read it. I know that many people loved the characters created by Vivienne "VivziePop" Medrano exactly as they were but I wanted to write a story and put my own little twist on it. I also saw a disturbing lack of substantial Adam/Lute stories so I wanted to try and rectify that. I plan to post a new chapter about once a week. While this story is going on, I plan to write an Alastor/Charlie one as well (at least at some point down the line). Best wishes all and hope you enjoy :)
