Chapter 59:
Kids

Ana focused on her work, but every now and then she had to stop from laughing. Kaiba Seto willingly took detention. Hehe. She glanced over at Arata who was working away on his project, his golden eyes hyper focused. I've never really hung hung out with Arata before. He's always been trying really hard to get large groups together and pump everyone up. I think Amin-chan is the first person I've ever seen him go after alone. How did he convince Seto to take detention? Is he an uptight CEO whisper? Should I take lessons?

"Sakurai-san, come work this problem." Goda called on her.

Ana nearly jumped out of her seat and made her way up to the board. She picked up the chalk and hesitated at the math problem. Oh, crap, how do I do this again? She pursed her lips, then remember Seto scolding her for using the wrong formula. Ha! I think I remember now. Ana quickly worked out the problem and looked over at Goda, who nodded and smiled.

"Good job."

Ana sighed and went back to her seat, feeling happy. Math had never been her strong suit, but Seto's tutoring really was effective. If he wasn't a CEO already, I'd tell him he'd be an excellent teacher, but I think he'd probably gag at that idea. Ana amused herself with imagining Seto standing in front of a classroom, wearing glasses, teaching. It quickly developed into him being such a tyrant that she could see everyone being forced to practice duel monsters on end. All lessons, even math, would relate to duel monsters and even P.E. would them be running with duel disks strapped to their legs. The final bell pulled her from her daydream, but before they could leave, Goda held up some papers.

"Alright, this is the last time you'll have to ever do this. So, take these home and think hard about your answers." Goda waved around the career sheets and passed them out.

Unlike the previous years, people didn't groan. It was sinking in that this really was their final year and that they'd have to pick a career path. When he placed the paper on Seto's desk, Goda's eyes narrowed.

"Really think hard about the answer." When Goda turned his back, Ana saw Seto roll his eyes.

As per usual, Sanae went to swim practice, extra pumped up since it was her last semester to compete, and Ana left to walk home with Seto. Ana looked up at Seto as they walked and tried to imagine him in glasses. She held up her fingers and made circles to help with the image.

"What are you doing?" Seto looked at her, confused.

"Hey, Amin-chan, you'd probably be a good teacher." Ana grinned and Seto made a gagging noise.

"What nonsense are you saying right now?" He looked truly annoyed.

She put her hands down and changed the subject. "So, you and Arata are friends now?"

"I will not justify that with an answer." He growled, even more annoyed than her comment about him being a teacher.

Ana held back a laugh. "Are you going to write Emperor of the World on your career sheet again?"

"I was thinking King of the Universe this time." He smirked at his own joke.

Ana rolled her eyes. "Glad to know that your career desires have risen even higher."

"I realized in the last year that I'm even smarter and more awesome than last year, so why not aim higher?"

"Then why don't you become ruler of all dimensions?" Ana joked, but Seto looked at her and seemed pleased with her comment. She decided not to encourage him anymore. "Did you ever have a normal dream?"

He paused at her question and frowned. That's not the reaction I was expecting.

"No…," he said quietly.

"You've always wanted to be a king?" Ana was trying to think of the best way to pick on him.

To her surprise, there was a moment of sadness on his face. "No, but it still wasn't a normal dream."

"Oh?" She asked curiously. "What was it?"

His sadness disappeared and was replaced by annoyance. "Does it matter?"

Oh, this is one of those things he's not ready to share with me. Ana felt a little sad but didn't push him. "No, I was just curious."

Seto looked confused by her reaction. His eyes narrowed, but she could tell he wasn't really seeing her. He's been making that face a lot lately, ever since Domino City. Like he's unsure of something and doesn't know what he's unsure of. He finally snapped out of his thoughts.

"Have you told your family yet that you want to teach brats?" He asked and Ana tensed up.

She wouldn't make eye contact. I was avoiding it as long as possible.

"Ana?" Seto leaned down next to her and smirked at her, but more in a teasing way. "You have to take entrance exams next year. If you don't tell them soon…"

"I know!" She snapped and then sighed. "I know…"

Seto pulled back and looked thoughtful. "Why do you want to teach brats, anyway? I don't think I've ever seen you hanging out with kids, let alone teaching them."

Well, I have been busy and in trouble a lot lately, so I haven't visited Auntie in a while. Plus, it's not like Auntie is allowed to come over. I do miss going. Should I go soon? Wait… What if I brought Seto? She smiled up at Seto, who seemed to sense her evil intentions, and tensed up.

"Amin-chan, do you have some time to go with me somewhere?" Ana asked, trying to sound innocent.

His eyes narrowed at her. "What's in it for me?"

She paused at this line and resisted smiling. He hadn't used it on her in a while. Ana turned away and thought about it for a second, then glanced up at him. "I'll let you French kiss me again."

Seto stopped walking and stared at her blankly. They hadn't French kissed since Domino City. Ana hadn't been too keen on the first time, but she guessed she didn't mind trying it again. He gave in and nodded.

"Fine. Lead the way." He looked like he was steeling himself for some form of torture.

Ana resisted laughing and took a turn that they didn't normally take. The place they were going wasn't far away. Ana used to visit it almost every day after school, but when she'd started training at fourteen, it had gotten hard to make it there often. Lately, she hadn't gone that much, so she was excited. It didn't take them long before they got to a small brightly colored building, done in yellows, reds, and blues. There was a rock fence around the yard that had playground equipment. The sign out front said, "Rina's Early Child Development." Seto stopped at the gate and grimaced. He looked like he was ready to turn around and run away.

"Do you want that kiss or not?" Ana asked as she walked up and entered the preschool. Seto reluctantly followed her. Ana made her way to a large room and peeked in. A woman with long brown hair and similar features to her father was at the front of the room leading a group of little children in a song, while holding a tiny three-month-old baby in her arms. A small girl with enormous pink bows too big for her head glanced at the door and saw Ana.

She jumped up from her seat and shouted. "Ana's here!"

The woman stopped singing and glanced over at Ana, smiling. The kids went wild and shouted in unison, "Ana!"

The girl with the pink bows was the fastest. She rushed to Ana and demanded. "Up!"

Ana scooped up the baby girl and snuggled her. A warm, fuzzy feeling enveloped her as the kids rushed to greet her.

"Have you been good Hana?" Ana asked the tiny girl in her arms, who grinned in response. Hana finally noticed Seto standing behind her quietly.

Hana pointed to him and shouted, "Giant scary man."

Ana resisted laughing as Seto's face flushed at this. The woman leading the class shifted her way through the toddlers and came over to Ana.

"Hi, Auntie." Ana pointed to Seto behind her, who was currently eyeing the little kids and looking very uncomfortable. "This is Kaiba Seto, my boyfriend."

Her aunt's eyes lit up, then she grinned mischievously. Ana ignored it and turned to Seto.

"This is my father's younger sister, Sakurai Rina. She's the director here." Ana introduced him.

"Nice to meet you." Seto wasn't looking at her as he said this. Currently one boy was bravely, but slowly inching his way over to Seto.

The kid tugged on his pant leg and in what was almost a whisper asked, "Are you Kaiba man?"

Ana had trained her ears to hear their small voices and was about to translate for Seto, but he answered without missing a beat. "Yes, I'm Kaiba man."

The kids heard his response and looked up at him with bright, excited eyes. Seto tensed up because this comment had them swarming his legs and trying to climb him. He looked rather panicked and unsure how to handle the swarm of toddlers asking him about "Kaiba man's adventures."

Hana gently tapped on Ana's cheek and whispered very loudly in her ear. "He's your boyfriend?"

Ana nodded.

"Have you kissed him?"

"Yes."

The baby girl giggled loudly and Seto shot a glare at Ana, who couldn't hold back her smile.

Rina smiled brightly. "It's nice to meet you, Kaiba-san. Here, hold her for a minute."

Seto looked up from the toddler's, bombarding him with questions. "Wha?"

Rina gently passed him the baby that she'd been holding. Ana frowned and could tell the baby had been fussy and recently calmed down. The baby started crying immediately. Seto looked very panicked, but to Ana's surprise, he was holding the baby correctly and supporting her head with the crook of his arm.

"Ana-chan, I need to talk with you for a minute." Rina turned to the other lady who worked with her, who was currently in a corner changing another baby's diaper. "I'm taking a 15."

The woman glanced at Seto, then back and nodded. Ana set Hana down, who went over and joined the throng surrounding Seto.

"W-wait a second." Seto looked rather panicked as he held the crying baby and was surrounded by toddlers.

Ana ignored him. "I'll be back."

She went with her aunt to the back sliding door and out onto the back porch. When Ana closed the door behind her, the sounds from inside were dampened. Rina plopped down at a table and patted the seat next to her. Her eyes were shining with excitement. Ana was regretting her decision to come. Slowly, she sat down and sighed.

"Alright, ask away." Ana gave in, knowing there was no escape.

"I've heard some of it from Kiko. So, my little Ana-chan really is dating Kaiba Seto." Rina tucked her hair behind her ear and winked at her. "So… how far have you gone?"

"Auntie!" Ana's face turned bright red.

"From that reaction, I'd say not far. You must trust him quite a bit to bring him here. Does he know what you want to do in the future?" Rina asked her, looked turning serious.

"He knows what career path I want but doesn't understand why I would want to be a preschool teacher." Ana admitted. Her aunt and her brother were the only family members who knew what she wanted to do.

Rina glanced at the door and frowned. "Does he want kids?"

Ana's face heated up even more. "I don't know! We haven't been dating that long."

"Ana-chan, I know it's early in your relationship, but I want you and your partner to be on the same page. Dad would make you quit any career path you choose to marry and have babies as soon as possible. If you don't want that, then your partner will need to be on your side to help you." Rina sighed.

Ana frowned. "I'm not approaching this relationship casually. We've already talked about that issue some."

Rina's eyes narrowed. "Some? Ana, I'm speaking from experience that if you don't lay out in clear terms what you want in the future that things will take a nasty turn when you get there. You've told me before that you want children, does he? What if he doesn't? What if he does and expects you to quit your job to take care of them? You know how our family is. You can't date casually without it causing issues later."

Ana listened to her aunt. She knew her aunt's last relationship had fallen through because she wanted to keep working and her fiancé didn't feel the same. It had come up at a family dinner and grandpa had sided with him. She ended the relationship right there in front of all of them. Ana remembered the scene vividly, even though she'd only been eight years old. It was the only time she'd ever seen her aunt cry. Rina hadn't come to any family dinners since. She hadn't really talked to her grandpa since then, either. It was the main reason Ana couldn't tell her grandpa what she wanted. What if he cuts me out of the family, too?

"I… understand. I'll discuss it." Ana fidgeted in her seat.

Rina sighed, and she smiled. "Does he treat you well?"

"As much as Amin-chan can." Ana rolled her eyes, then blushed.

Rina's eyebrow arched. "You've nicknamed him. You really must like him."

Ana decided not to tell her aunt that his nickname had come from an insult. "Y-yeah, I guess I do."

"Do be sure to use protection—"

"Auntie!" Ana slammed her hands down on the table and the woman laughed.

Rina grinned at her. "I can finally give you some of those books that I've been saving for when one of you got into a serious relationship."

"Auntie!" Ana stood up, her face on fire. "I-I think we should go check on Seto and make sure the kids haven't eaten him alive."

"You call him by his first name?" Rina didn't miss a beat.

Ana bit back her retort and headed back inside. Much to her surprise, the kids were seated in a row with Kaiba standing in front of them. He was holding the baby against his chest. She was wrapped in a blanket and his arm wrapped around her securely. She was fast asleep and looked very content.

Seto was pointing at the kids one by one. "Dark?"

"Magician!" a boy shouted.

"One point." He pointed to the next kid. "Blue?"

"Eyes White Dragon!"

"One point." He pointed to the next kid. "Red?"

The boy hesitated. "Um, um."

"To long. Minus one point. You're out of points." He pointed to a group of kids that were sitting in a corner, pouting. The kid slumped his shoulders and went over to the group.

Ana and Rina looked at each other, then sat down and watched. Hey, this is a lot like my daydream. He really did start teaching them duel monsters. Ana held back a laugh. The game continued until only Hana remained. The girl jumped up proudly.

"I win!"

"Congrats," Seto said in a kind of monotone voice, but pulled a card out of his deck and handed it to her.

Her eyes lit up excitedly. "Pretty!"

She noticed Ana and Rina sitting inside and ran over to them. "Look, look. Isn't it pretty?"

Ana was curious what card on Seto's deck could be pretty and realized it was Monster Reborn. Well, it is a crystal, so it would be pretty to a three-year-old. Rina held back laughter as she walked over to Seto and took the sleeping baby out of his arms. The baby jerked a little but didn't wake.

"Can we play again?" One of the more competitive boys asked.

Ana stood and rescued Seto. "No, sorry. We have to go now."

The kid looked down cast.

Seto half frowned. "Maybe next time, if you work on memorizing more cards."

The kids got really excited at this statement. Rina was eyeing Seto closely. He noticed her staring.

"What?" He asked, sounding annoyed.

Rina shrugged. "It's nice to see that you can reign in your tude around the little ones."

Seto's mouth twitched, and he grumbled incoherently under his breath. Ana tried not to laugh. They said their goodbyes and then left.

"Was it alright for you to give a card from your deck away?" Ana smiled at Seto as they walked.

"It's just Monster Reborn. I have about fifty copies of the card." He rolled his eyes.

Ana grinned even wider. "Rina's been having issues with Yuna, the baby you were holding. How did you get her to sleep?"

Seto looked confused by her question. "Issues? She wasn't that finicky. I wrapped her up, held her close, and eventually she passed out."

Ana stopped walking, and Seto stopped, too. He looked at her, confused. Her heart was racing in her chest. Holy crap, that's oddly sexy.

"Where did you learn to do that?" She tried to calm her racing heart.

Seto frowned. "I was five when Mokuba was born. I helped with him. Also, I did live in an orphanage for a time. The people who ran it sucked. Sometimes the babies would get colic and would cry all night long. The caretakers just let them cry it out, but I decided I couldn't take it since I wanted sleep. I would sneak into the baby room and figured out how to soothe them until they fell alse—why are you blushing?"

Ana realized her face felt very warm and spun away. "I'm not."

"You are." Seto frowned at her.

She shook her head and continued walking. Seto sighed but followed her. Ana glanced up at him out of the corner of her eye.

"Seto," she said quietly.

"Hmm?"

She took a deep breath and steeled herself. "Let's play a what if game."

He sounded confused. "A what if game?"

"Yes, I'll ask a series of what if questions and you answer them." Ana smiled awkwardly.

Seto actually sighed at her. He glanced around them and started walking off path. Confused, Ana followed him until they came to a small, out of the way café.

"You sure do know where a lot of out of the way places are to eat." Ana mused.

"I've memorized the map of the city." He said this ridiculous statement in such a matter-of-fact way that Ana had to resist pinching his arm.

Seto pulled the door open for her, and she entered. It was a small little café with two tables and four wicker chairs. An old man in his 70s stood up from one chair. Seto and Ana sat at the table next to the window. She glanced over at the handwritten chalk board menu. The old man came over and asked them what they wanted to drink.

"Green tea." Ana answered quickly and Seto asked for coffee.

The old man quickly came back with their drinks, then when about his business in the back of the shop. Seto took a sip of his coffee.

"Amin-chan? Why are we here?" Ana asked, confused.

Seto narrowed his eyes. "Instinct. I got the feeling that your what if questions are going to be more than a game. Was I wrong?"

Ana cringed, and Seto frowned.

"I'm not that great at reading people unless it's for work or duels, so if I'm wrong, then just consider this a date." He took another sip of his coffee. "What is the first what if?"

Ana took a sip of her tea and composed herself. She set her cup down and started with, "If we got married—"

Seto visibly flinched and Ana almost ended the conversation right there. He tensed up but didn't run away, which gave Ana courage to continue.

"If we got married, would you tell me not to work?" Ana asked, feeling a knot in her stomach.

Seto's brow furrowed. "Didn't we already discuss this?"

"We kind of gleaned over it, but I don't feel we talked about it in concrete terms."

He looked thoughtful, as he seemed to be going over something in his head. "No, I suppose we didn't. The answer is no, I wouldn't tell you not to work."

She let out a small sigh and continued. "What if we had kids? Would you make me quit work to raise them?"

He blinked a few times. "No. Why would I?"

Ana shook her head and smiled. "I'm just asking."

He looked a little exasperated, then grinned at her. "I work constantly. Why would I forbid you from working? Actually, I didn't even assume I had that kind of power over you. You're your own person. While the idea of you suddenly becoming sub servant is… enticing, I like you because you're strong willed and don't bend to me. It makes it a lot more satisfying when you do bend."

Ana's face flushed and asked the hardest question. "Do you want kids?"

She'd expected him to blush, but he looked conflicted. That's not the reaction I was expecting.

"I… need more time to think about that." He grumbled. "I did when I was younger."

Ana paused. When he was younger? Oh… I wonder if because of his adoptive father, he changed his mind.

"Then, if I got pregnant, would you want to keep—"

"Yes," he answered quickly. Ana looked at him and tilted her head. "What? I said I don't know if I want to be a father, but I have no intention of ever abandoning what would be my child. I just don't know if I want to actively pursue children."

Ana tried to hold back a smile. I didn't mean right now or anytime soon, you weirdo. He takes everything so seriously. I mean, we are only seventeen. I'm honestly surprised he's not being weirder about this conversation, but then again, he did mention that he can't date casually because of his company. Ha, I guess I'm glad Seto is who he is. This would have been so awkward to talk about with another guy in class. It's nice that he's stupidly logical and decisive on most of his opinions.

"Anything else?" Seto raised an eyebrow at her.

"If we did ever get engaged or married and my grandfather tried to pressure you to make me quit, would you cave?" Ana raised an eyebrow.

Seto looked at her like she'd lost her mind. "In what world reality do you ever see me caving to that old coot?"

Ana's mouth tightened. "Please answer the question."

"No way. Never. Not even if I died and reincarnated into a weak, starving child on the streets, would I cave to him." Seto growled. "I'd sooner eat an old leather shoe."

She laughed, then took a sip of her tea.

"What made you ask that question?"

Ana paused, then answered, "Well, he's the head of my family."

"I'm the head of my family. Even if he became an in-law, that wouldn't change anything. He doesn't get to rule over my family." Seto growled at the thought.

This sudden realization dawned on her. It was so simple that she was a little annoyed she'd never thought of it before. Her father and mother had always bowed and submitted to her grandpa because he was the head of the Sakurai family. If she married Seto, though, she wouldn't be a Sakurai anymore. She'd be a Kaiba and there was no way in hell that Kaiba Seto was going to bow to someone outside his family. Especially not since he'd forcefully and with his own hands fought to be the head of his family. Just like that, Ana's fear disappeared. She smirked at him.

"Does that mean you plan on lording over me if we get married?" She grinned.

Seto frowned at her. "Would you let me?"

"Nope."

"Then there's your answer."

Ana laughed and glanced at her bag where her career paper was. "Amin-chan, will you come with me? I'm going to tell my grandfather what I want to do career wise, and I need some support."

She stood up and grabbed her bag as Seto put a bill on the table. He looked up from his seat and asked, "What do I get if I do?"

Ana glanced at the back of the café. The old man must have been in the very back because right now they were the only ones in the small café. Quickly, Ana grabbed Seto's face and kissed him deeply. She shoved her tongue in his mouth roughly. She was suddenly aware of how quiet the café was as she heard their heavy breathing. The tips of their tongue fought with each other until she pulled away and took a deep breath. That was much better. The blank look on Seto's face was comical.

"That was an advance payment." She grinned. "So, are you coming?"

"Huh? Ah, yeah." He stood up stiffly and grabbed his bag. They left the café and Seto took her hand as they walked. His touch was reassuring and comforting.

When they got to her house, she didn't walk up to the front, but went around to the dojo. Before she knocked, she pulled out her career paper and hesitated before writing down preschool teacher. She looked up at the dojo door and took a step back. The fear was coming back in full force.

"Why are you scared?" Seto asked her.

Ana bit her lip. "Rina and grandpa haven't talked for years because she wanted to work instead of getting married and having kids."

"Why does it have to be you? You have two other siblings." Seto frowned at her.

"I don't know… It's just been assumed since I was about fourteen that grandpa expected me to get married and have kids instead of a career. I guess I've never asked why me." Ana realized this. Wait, why does it have to be me? Why not Aiko and Hikari? She calmed down and knocked on the dojo door.

"Come in." Her grandpa's voice called out. Ana nearly turned and ran until Seto put a hand on her shoulder. She opened the door and stepped up into the dojo. Looking back at him, he grinned and mouthed "Chi-san." Ana rolled her eyes and closed the door, leaving Seto outside. Her grandpa was in his training gear and working on stretching out his muscles.

"You're rather late today." He raised a bushy brow at her.

"I was talking with Kaiba-san."

"Ah." He seemed pleased about that. "Well, go get changed—"

"I also visited Auntie's." Ana held her breath and her grandpa's eyes narrowed.

"Oh? Well, that's fine." He didn't sound happy at all.

"I need to talk to you about my career sheet." Ana held up the paper.

He sighed. "Just leave it on the table in the house and I'll look over it later—"

"No, now. I've waited for years to talk to you about it. I'm not waiting any longer." Ana held her ground. Her grandpa's mouth tightened, but he straightened up and pointed to the cushions in front of the shrine. Ana sat down with her legs under her and her back straight. She would not back down. Her grandpa sat across from her and she handed him the paper. Her hands were sweating, but she resisted swallowing loudly. He took her paper and his eyes widened before he frowned deeply.

"Ana, what is this?" He asked, his voice level, but his face filled with concern.

"What I want to do as a career," she answered firmly, but her heart was racing a mile a minute.

"You've never mentioned this before."

Ana clenched her hands into fists on her knees. "You never let me mention it before. You've just assumed for years that I would get married and stay home and have kids. Why is that grandpa? Why me specifically?"

He looked at her surprised, then frowned. "You were the obvious choice. Hikari's always been a weak child and Aiko... I'm not 100 percent sure I'll get grandkids from her."

"Why wouldn't you get grandkids from Aiko and just because Hikari's weak doesn't mean his kids would be. Why me?" She asked again.

"Because you've always seemed to like taking care of kids, I just thought..." He let out a tired sigh. "Why didn't you mention before that you wanted to be a teacher?"

"I've tried before, but you never listened. So, I've always felt that I didn't have a choice."

Her grandpa looked truly taken aback. He grew silent and glanced over at her grandma's picture.

"Plus, with the way you acted about Rina and her choice made it seem like I didn't have one. Do I? Am I wrong?" Ana's voice cracked a little, and she took a deep breath, restraining the tears. "You haven't spoken to Rina in years because she chose her career over marriage… I've been afraid that you'd cut me off and never speak to me again if I told you what I really wanted to do."

Her grandpa's look of shock wasn't what she expected. She watched as his eyebrows furrowed and his eyes filled with guilt.

"You really thought I'd cut you off?" He bit his lip and his head slightly dipped.

"You cut Rina off and she's your daughter. Why wouldn't you cut me off too?" The tears she'd been holding in poured out.

His eyes grew wet, and he sniffed. "I didn't cut Rina off because she wouldn't marry, we just… There's a reason, but… It's just… We fought a lot and…"

He let out a loud sigh as he looked at her paper. His mouth tightened. She'd never seen her grandpa this conflicted before.

Swallowing hard, she asked, "Then… you don't have a problem with my choice?"

When he looked up from her paper, Ana's heart sunk into her stomach. It seemed he did have a problem by the look of pain on his face. Slowly, he raised a hand to his head and sighed.

"Ana, is Kaiba-san outside?"

She tensed up and pressed him. "Why do you need to talk to him? I'm asking you about my future right now. Are you ok with my career choice or not?"

His frowned deepened. "I… I can't give you an answer until after I speak with Kaiba-san. Please, Ana. Send him in."

She couldn't stop the tears as they poured out. The betrayal stung. She'd never talked to Seto about her grandpa since he seemed to dislike him, but Ana loved her grandpa dearly. When she was growing up, he'd sooth her when she had fights with Sanae, listen when she was upset, tell her stories about her grandma and old fairytales, and whenever they went to parties together, he was the one who kept people away from her. It was her grandfather that had beat up the man who tried to come onto her in her own home when she was fourteen. He'd been the one to suggest she train and had wholeheartedly taken time out of the dojo to train her personally. She wanted his approval. For him to not give it felt like her heart was breaking in two.

Ana stood up and walked to the door, opening it. She felt lost. I don't know what to do. As she stepped outside, she looked over to Seto, who'd been leaning against the dojo wall with his fingers pinching the bridge of his nose. He glanced over at her, his eyes widening for a moment before they narrowed into slits. I don't know what to do. Amin-chan, help me.

Author's Slight Announcement:

Hey everyone! Thanks for reading. I'm not sure why the chapters keep getting longer. I just have been feeling inspired lately. So inspired I stayed up waaaay to late last night and have almost finished next week's chapter. Teehee.

Anyway, lately it dawned on me that I've been writing on this story for a while. Almost three years! After reading a different Kaiba fic I felt like I was losing my Kaiba, so I went back and was rereading my fic from the beginning. Internal cringe. I've improved since then. Soooo, I'm going to go back to the beginning and do some minor corrections and some grammar editing! I don't know if it updates you all about chapter replacements, but if it does that's why. I'm not going to do anything major. It won't really affect the overall story, so there's no need to reread it. I just want to fix it. That way future readers can enjoy it even more. And hey if you feel the need, or just want to reread it I'm not going to stop you. That's the slight announcement! Stay tuned for next week. Slight hint, you might just get to meet a tiny Seto. Wink wink.
