Stripe hung up on Bandit.
Something was still scratching the door.

His wife Trixie entered the room.
"Trix get the kids and hide"
"Why?"
"I can't explain right now."

"Stripe your scaring m-"

It opened its wings, opened its mandebels.
And attacked..
Trixie was first.
The cricket jumped onto her and killed her.
Soon.. they were all dead.
At the claws of a monster.
1 hour later
It looked at him.
Its large black eyes with its wings out.
"Wh- what did you do?!"
Screech!*
The cricket attack Bandit, scratching his face.
He managed to overpower it, trying to snap its neck.

He killed it with a neck snap and ran out of there.
inside the car, Bingo heard shouting outside.
"Mum look, its dad"
"OPEN THE GODDAMN DOOR!"
Chili unlocked the doors to let Bandit in.
"I'll deal with them" Kevin shouted.
He got out of the car with the shovel and began to smack and stabs the crickets landing at the house.
"Bandit leave me here, I'll kill them all!"
Bandit immediately took Kevins response seriously and pressed the gas pedal and drove put of there.
"We're going back to the house"
"I don't wanna go back there Bandit"
"Ok fine Chili, then will go to your fathers"
"I would much prefer that"
Morts house
"The damaged car pulled up to the house.
It was morning and cloudy, even though rain would come back.
"Kids, we're at grandads!" Chili said.
"Hooray," Bingo shouted.
Chilis father, Mort, was in his 60s or 70s and had heartworm.
But that didn't stop him from rowing the canoe.
knock*
"Hello?" Mort said as he opened the door.
"Grandad!" Bluey and Bingo shouted in excitedly.
"Hey! kids, how are you doing?"
"Hey, dad,"
"Hey Chili,"
"Wait, whos this young lab here -"
Bandit then interrupted Mort.
"Oh wait, that remains me, Mort. I need to talk to you inside."
"Oh, uh yeah, that's fine."
Everyone went inside.
They were all tired.
Bingo climbed into a bed and passed out, Chili made a cup of coffee for her and Bandit, and Bluey and Jean Luc went to the backyard.
"So what's going on here, Bandit?"
"So things have been wild."
"Ok, so what's happening?"
"Uh... Stripe... is dead."
"Wait, your brother?!"
"Yeah."
"And you didn't tell your wife?!"
Bandit then had a small break.
"Look, things are crazy right ok theres giant cricket things running around the place, okay!?"
Bandit walk away.
He didn't want the coffee.
He went into the room where Bingo was at.
She started to have trouble sleeping.
"Dad, can we visit cousin Muffin tomorrow?"
"Im sorry, Bingo, but we can't."
"Why?"
"I'll tell you when you're ready,"

Bluey was talking to Jean Luc.
"I missed you, Jean Luc,"
"I missed you too, Bluey."
"Jean Luc, where are your parents?
It made him shade a tear.
"There.. dead"
"What. Why?"
"The.. c-c-cricket got them"
"cricket?"
"yea-"
He put his hands on his face to cover his eyes, and started to cry.
"No wait please dont"
Bluey put her hand on Jean Lucs shoulder to comfort him.
Something was forming between them.
He still thought this was a close friendship.
But this was no friendship...
