"What happened?" said Faith.

"I don't know. She just passed out. I mean, after she sat down from her testimony, she did not look well. Maybe her headaches were bothering her again."

"That's probably what it was. She came to me this morning asking if there was any medicine I could give her."

"Did you give her anything?"

"Yes, I gave her a painkiller, but I warned her it would cause extreme exhaustion. She'd told me she'd try to wait to take it until after the trial, but it might have gotten to be too much. I wouldn't worry too much. I'll check her out when she wakes up, but it's probably just exhaustion."

"Thank you. I have to go get Goldie from daycare. I'll probably just see if Elizabeth can watch her. I'll be back."

Elizabeth ran to the cafe to place an order for their dinner and grabbed a cup of coffee before heading to her next stop. She walked into the infirmary and was surprised to see Rosemary lying in the bed.

"Faith, what happened? Is she okay?"

"Her headaches have really been bothering her, and she passed out after the trial. Lee was actually stopping at your house to see if you could watch Goldie."

"But she's gonna be okay?"

"I'll be fine, Elizabeth." Both women looked down to see that Rosemary had opened her eyes. "Just tired, that's all."

"I will try to find a better headache medication, considering you'll probably need it more during the day."

"Thank you, Faith."

"And I will get home to watch Goldie so that way Lee can come back up here."

"If you didn't know I was here, why did you stop?"

"It can wait."

"I'm sure Allie will be more than willing to watch Goldie when Lee asks."

"You're probably right."

"So, Elizabeth, what seems to be the issue?" said Faith.

"So, I was up sick last night and didn't really have much of an appetite today, which is really abnormal for me. I had a theory, but didn't test it out until just now. You see, right before I came here, I picked myself up a cup of coffee from the cafe. Right after walking out, I dumped it out on the ground because it made me really nauseous. This has only happened one other time in my life."

"Elizabeth, how la–"

"About a week and a half."

"I think it's pretty safe to say that your theory is right," said Faith.

"Oh Elizabeth," said Rosemary, "I'm so happy for you."

"Not a word about this." Both women mimicked zipping their lips and throwing away the key.

Elizabeth picked up the food from the cafe and headed home. Later that night, Lee came by to pick up Goldie. He told her that Rosemary was at home resting.
