The last two plays were a Dashing Thief role and a Figure Skater role. The Dashing Thief had to pull off an act like Robin Hood, and steal treasures back from the Sour Bunch. The Figure Skater role, she had to save the dancers from a takeover by the Sour Bunch, and then rescue the other dancers from a flamboyant Sour Bunch Figure Skater. He was apparently so dazzled by the performance that he met his end. Then came the boss. Peach had to hand Stella a few more Sparkle Gems to help her open the door.

"Alright, this guy's probably going to be harder than the last one, so we can't let our guard down!"

Peach nodded. "Right!"

The arena was just like the last, except there was somebody already inside.

Her face matched the insignia, with a tall top hat, thick curls, and a masquerade mask concealing her face. Her dress covered her legs and feet, and her hands were covered with white gloves, in the left which she held a scepter. A large purple diamond-shaped brooch and a cravat blocked the front of her open jacket, and her green eyes held a feeling of joy in them.

She also had very nice eyelashes, as what Stella stated.

"Well, well." Her voice was surprisingly soothing, for a villainess. "You must be that 'Princess Peach' my Sour Bunch has been talking about. Word has it, that you two rats are running around, trying to pick up my trash."

Stella gasped. "Hey, that's Peach you're talking to!"

"And you are nothing but a piece of cloth, imbued with a weak power." She came close to Peach. "If you are a so-called 'Princess,' tell me then, where is your crown?"

"I lost it, when you barged into the theater," Peach said rather harshly.

"Oh dear, I suppose I dethroned the Princess then, hm?" She chuckled. "But anyhow, I've wasted enough of my precious time dealing with you two vermin."

"You captured the Sparklas, you monster!" Stella yelled.

"Yes, I have. And I did for reason I cannot say unless my plan be spoiled. Farewell for now, 'Princess' Peach. I'll allow my pet, Light Fang, to check your performance while you're here." She vanished in a cloud of purple mist.

"The nerve of her," Stella grumbled.

A large figure rose from the darkness, a bright light shining from its eyes. Peach ducked behind a wall to avoid being seen. She had to sneak her way to a battery, which, when attacked with Sparkle, deactivated and the large snake broke apart to reveal its core. The boss was generally easy, except getting caught would hurt and cause time to rewind. It didn't rewind much, but enough to put a damper on things, especially if he had already broken a pillar she had used as cover previously. But, despite the rewinding setback, Peach was still able to defeat Light Fang within a quick amount of time.

The next floor was next, and hopefully wouldn't be quite as hard. A Cowgirl and Pastierre play had come and gone, and the floor also welcomed two new transformations, a Mermaid and Mighty.

The Mermaid mission had her find and recover the band members, which had been imprisioned by the Sour Bunch. They put on a performance, which blew away the crowd. Peach was surprised at the skill of the band, and had a blast singing opera for them as well.

The Mighty mission had her become a super hero, with impressive strength and a jet pack. She had to save Theets that were being captured by aliens. Stella thought the plot could use some work, but never said it during the play.

Stella needed yet more Sparkle Gems to open the next door, then apologized and stated how Grape was getting stronger. Peach said it was nothing to worry about, as they were completing the plays in a surprisingly quick manner.

The next set was pitch black, darker than the others. The quiet sound of claws clacked against the ground, but when they turned, they saw nothing.

"Eeheehee..."

"Aah!" Peach whipped around, her ponytail smacking her in the face. "Oh!"

A large cat, with goggles and green, swirly eyes, came up close to her face; its breath hot but feeling forced and fake. "Hello therrre, Prrrincess Peach. Come to play, have you?"

"We're going to stop you, then the next two, then it's Grape!" Stella said bravely. Nothing seemed to faze her.

"How adorrrable, two mice think they can out rrrrun a cat! We'll see who's laughing when yourrr currrrtain closes forrr good! Me-ow!"

He wasn't too intimidating, on the outside, but the two-faced enemy was surprisingly strong. Peach found that the mice summoned were actually bombs, and she had to protect them from Purrjector Cat's claws and tail until he decided to slam shadow paws into the stage. The bomb was blasted up, Peach being hurt in the process, and destroyed Purrjector Cat's physical form. Two more times, including damaging the core, was enough to take down the fussy feline for good.

Peach was starting to get exhausted from the running around, and the action within the plays. She decided to take a break for a few minutes. Toadsworth sat down next to her.

"You alright, Princess?"

She nodded. "Yeah, just a lot of running, even in the plays."

Stella sat on the other side. "Yeah, but we're making good progress! We've freed three of the floors out of five, then we just have to save the Sparklas from the basement...Who would trap people in a basement anyways? That's kind of creepy. How many Sparklas can we save now?"

"We can save the Cowgirl and Pastierre Sparklas. But if we have to keep going up and down, I think we should finish the stages first, then get all the Sparklas at once, just so it'd be easier for all of us."

"You make a good point. It probably will make it faster, after all. How about you, Toadsworth? How are you holding up?"

"I'm doing fine," he said. "Believe it or not, I've had to do a lot more walking than this on some of Master Mario and Master Luigi's adventures..."

"Mario and Luigi? Who is that?"

"Mario," Peach said, "saved me many times before, from Bowser. He and I are actually married now, but I might have lost my ring with my crown...Luigi is Mario's younger twin, and he may be a coward, but he's willing to fight through his fear and save others."

"You have a lot of heroes in your Kingdom..."

"What if, after this is all over, I took you to meet Mario and Luigi? I'd bet they'd like you."

"Really? Wow, meeting a Princess, and two heroes within the same month? This will be the best month of my life!"

"But first thing's first," Toadsworth said, "we need to stop Madame Grape from whatever she's planning."
