A little note before the start. It was pointed out that Rhaenys was at Dragonstone to welcome the builders but in chapter 12 she was present at Oldtown. It was not a mistake or me forgetting. With the second crowning at oldtown, Aegon had called Rhaenys and Visenya back. Aenar didn't know why Rhaenys was there yet so I made a slight change in the dialogue of chapter 12.

Things were no less chaotic even after Aegon was crowned at Old Town before the masses and cheered for it.

For one, there were the Lords of The Sisters in the Bite, who had taken advantage of the conquest to name themselves a free nation and crowned a Queen of their own. Of course that died quickly when Aenar flew on Cannibal to challenge the Lords of the Bite and their 'free' nation. His reputation of burning traitors was well known to all, so the mere sight of him had the Lords kneel and beg his forgiveness, almost as if they prayed to him to forgive their folly.

They were lucky since Aegon had explicitly told Aenar not to burn anyone who bent the knee.

The Sistermen deposed Lady Marla just as quickly as they'd made her Queen. Her brother Steffon Sunderland renewed his and the Sistermen's vows to the Eyrie, bent the knee to Aenar who represented the Crown and surrendered his sons Waylon and Wylan as hostages. Aenar handed Waylon to Ser Warrick Manderly (who had sailed leading the Northern Fleet under the orders of Torhhen Stark as commanded by Aegon) and Wylan to the Arryns to be fostered. Lady Marla, for her crimes of leading an uprising against Aegon, was fed to Cannibal (Aenar had convinced Aegon to let him burn the figurehead of the rebellion).

With the end of that Rebellion, all of the lands South of the Wall were now Aegons. All but Dorne that is.

Dorne had refused to kneel but had not bothered any of the rest of the Kingdom, an odd thing many agreed. But Aenar did not find this odd at all. There was a reason Meria Martell had her granddaughter and son present that day when he went to talk them into kneeling. And he told his siblings about his suspicions.

Aegon spun the marble sphere on the table as he thought about the issue at hand.

"We are not seriously thinking about this are we?" Rhaenys asked, wide eyes full of shock looking between his siblings.

"The Dornish are stubborn people to be certain. They will fight us tooth and nail to the bitter end" Visenya mused out loud.

"Then we fight them tooth and nail!" Rhaenys argued. "We have dragons! Four of them! Why must we sacrifice our brother for this?!"

"We are not sacrificing him," Visenya said gently.

"Deria Martell is twice his age. She is older than even you, sister!" Rhaenys pointed out.

"And if the gods favour us she will die before him and he can take a second wife" Visenya countered. "We may have four Dragons, but if we have a bloodless way of bringing Dorne into our control, then we should entertain the thought of the bloodless way."

"Since when do you think of the bloodless way" Rhaenys snapped, before turning to Aenar. "This is your future, surely you don't want this!"

"I want to do what is best for the family" Aenar answered with a shrug. "The Dornish conflict will get bloody. I have seen it."

"The future is not set in ink!" Rhaenys snapped.

"Which is why I'm here" Aenar shot back. "I am changing the pages before the ink dries!"

Their argument was interrupted by a knock at the door. Aegon stopped spinning the marble sphere and called for whoever it was to come in.

Ser Markas Carlgyle stood on the other side.

"Your Grace, your gusts from Qohor have arrived. And they bring gifts."

Aegon raised a brow at Aenar who shrugged in reply.

The Builders and Smiths from Qohor had come in great numbers, larger than they did when Aenar had hired them back in Oros. But they had not come alone and Aenar was pleasantly surprised because of it.

"Eladon!" Aenar greeted with a big smile. Eladon was the captain of Aenar's Unsullied back at Oros, the one Aenar had given a name.

The Unsullied man knelt before Aenar, his head low.

"Āeksio aenar, emi returned naejot dohaeragon ao"[1] Eladon declared.

"Returned to serve?" Aegon raised a brow.

"I bought Unsullied to help guard the camp at Oros and the Smiths so no thieves were looting us" Aenar explained, before going back to the man. "Nyke daerēdas ao, ñuha raqiros. Ao se mirre aōha brothers."[2]

"Īlon escorted se smiths arlī naejot qohor hae ao eptan, se tolī īlon gaomagon se gelebo ao teptan īlva naejot mazverdagon īlva own sellsword company. Yn īlin daor biare. Īlin biare gō ao. Ao treated īlva hae īlin human, hae īlin lentor. Īlon jaelagon naejot dohaeragon ao, Hae dāero valoti sir."[3]

Aenar looked the man in the eyes before looking back to the men behind him, talking amongst themselves happily.

'Nyke ȳdra daor remember konīr issare bisa naenie hen ao gō" [4] Aenar said.

"Gifts hen trianna se qirzzah. Iā pyrys dovaogēdy hae iā urnēptre hen friendship, along lēda bisa"[5]the man held out a letter.

Aenar took it, opened it, and read it thoroughly, before handing it to his brother.

Aegon read it over with a hum.

"It would seem your involvement in Volantis has helped them rebuild their image. The Triarch Trianna welcomes us to trade on their lands. All trades of the jade Sea happen through Volantis now."

"We would get some nice silk and spice through Volantis now" Rhaenys mused with a hum.

"I hear the Volantene Wine is also sweeter than the Arbor's" Visenya mused.

"They make it with beets, somehow" Aenar shrugged, before turning to Eladon. He smiled at the man, before stepping forward to stand beside him but faced the other men behind. If his memory served him right, he had bought and freed five hundred Unsullied. If all of them have come, with the gift of men Aenar had a thousand and five hundred strong and capable warriors.

"Slavery iksis forbidden isse se tegor hen Vesteros" [6] Aenar began. "Sīr kesan daor gaomagon ao. Iksā mirre dāez vali! naejot gaomagon skoros aōha prūmia desires. Lo ao iderēbagon naejot umbagon kesīr, emilā naejot abide ondoso ñuha lēkia's laws. Issa se dārys hen Vesteros! kesan welcome jeme lo ao jaelagon naejot umbagon, kessa hire ao hae ñuha vali rȳ nesh. Aōha freedom gaomas daor māzigon lēda iā condition. Iksā human, emā se paktot naejot glaesagon hae mēre" [7]

It did not take long for the men to decide. They went to their knees one after the other, thanking Aenar for his kindness and swearing their swords, shields and spears to him, to his brother.

"And now you have an army of your own" Aegon placed a hand on Aenar's shoulder.

"But our task is not done yet" Aenar replied with a grin. "Visenya, I would require your assistance with this one."

Visenya frowned from confusion and nodded.

X

Twenty Smiths and Eight Hundred Builders had arrived from Qohor at his request, much more than Aenar had anticipated. Back at Oros, he had only a few smiths, somewhere between five and seven. Much like with the Unsullied, those who worked for him must have spread the word of their time with him, thus drawing more men in.

But Aenar did not go to meet them right away. With his siblings, he went to the secluded chamber where Visenya practised her magic. A servant was told to bring a cask of wine.

"What are you planning on doing?" Visenya questioned while she watched along with Aegon and Rhaenys as their younger brother moved around the cask, undoing the top and muttering something under his breath. And then before anyone could react, Aenar slit his palm and bled into the wine.

The wine glowed red for a moment before the glow vanished.

"Old Valyrians used to feed their workers and smiths their blood mixed in water to share knowledge of magic with them" Aenar explained, closing the cask as best as he could. "Dragonriders did not have time to forge Valyrian Steel or construct castles like Dragonstone. Well, they did have time, but they had slaves so they made them do it. Anyways, once the Builders and Smiths drink the wine, they'll know how to construct structures with Valyrian Magic and how to produce Valyrian Steel from normal Iron."

"And how exactly do you know this?" Visenya asked, her voice a little sharper than usual.

"I told you, I saw things in Valyria, learned things that died with the Doom" Aenar explained. He called the servant back and ordered him to pour the wine for the Workers and Smiths.

"And once their work is done, they'll have a unique knowledge that belongs to our blood" Aegon pointed out.

"Knowledge given can just as easily be taken away" Aenar explained. "I can take back the knowledge any time I wish. And they won't even know what happened" the boy smiled. "Now, let us go meet our workers and plan the grandest castle Westeros has ever seen."

Translation:

1. Master Aenar, we have returned to serve you

2. I freed you, my friend. You and all your brothers.

3. We escorted the Smiths back to Qohor as you asked, and after we used the coin you gave us to build our own sellsword company. But we were not happy. We were happy under you. You treated us like we were human, like we were family. We wish to serve you, as free men now.

4. I don't remember there being this many of you before

5. Gifts from Trianna and Qirzzah. A Thousand Unsullied as a show of friendship, along with this

6. Slavery is forbidden in the lands of Westeros

7. So I will not keep you. You are all free men! To do what your heart desires. If you choose to remain here, you will have to abide by my brother's laws. He is the King of Westeros! I will welcome you all if you wish to stay, and will hire you as my men at arms. You will live under me as free men who are paid for their duty, not as slaves! But should you wish to return to Essos, you may do so as free men. Your freedom does not come with a condition. You are human, you have the right to live like one.
