"Bobby actually punched dad?" Sam asked bewildered, following Dean and Castiel into their bedroom. Dean dragged Cas down onto his bed with him as Sam scrambled to sit on his own across from them. Dean had told Sam about the whole situation between their father and uncle in the garage earlier that evening.
"Yeah, it... It was honestly kind'a awesome." Dean huffed out a laugh looking at his brother. "Did he really call you... That?" Sam's face scrunched up in disgust at the thought of their dad calling Dean such a thing. Dean nodded in response, not wanting to repeat the word. "What a dick!" Sam exclaimed angrily.
"I don't think either of you will have to worry about him, he seemed fairly surprised by Bobby defending Dean." Castiel announced looking between Dean and Sam. "Defending us, Cas. You're part of this too, Bobby didn't just stick up for me." Dean took Cas' hand, bringing it up to his mouth and kissing his knuckles.
"You're family now, Cas." Sam smiled at him, nodding solemnly. Castiel blushed at that, ducking his head. "Yeah, 'fraid Sammy's right about that." Dean agreed smiling up at Cas.
Castiel smiled back, bringing his other hand up to cup to Dean's face as he urged him into a kiss. Dean's eyes fluttered closed as Cas deepened the kiss.
"Gross. If you wanted me gone, you just had to say so." Sam made a face jumping down from his bed, hurrying out of the room as he pulled the door closed behind him. Dean leaned away from Cas, blushing bright pink. "I wouldn't have done that if you hadn't been there, Cas." he whispered.
"Done what?" Castiel inquired. "Stand up to my dad. You make me brave, Cas." Dean explained smiling softly. "Oh, Dean." Castiel pressed their foreheads together rubbing his nose against Dean's, making him laugh quietly. Castiel kissed him, slow and soft. Dean sank into the kiss, reaching up and circling his arms around Cas' neck.

"Hey, there's a transfer student coming to school this morning. I have to meet her and show her around, wanna help?" Castiel announced glancing over at Dean from the passenger seat. Dean turned his head to look at Cas. "Sure, sounds fun." he answered smiling returning his attention back onto the road.
"Her name is Charlie Bradbury, she'll be waiting for us in the Principal's office." Castiel continued as Dean steered them into the parking lot, pulling into his usual spot away from the rest of the cars in student parking. "Well, let's go greet her." Dean grinned turning off Baby's engine. He climbed out of the driver side and quickly ran around to open the door for Cas.
Castiel smiled shyly as Dean wrapped his arms around him, pressing him against the door, kissing him antagonizingly slow. "Dean..." Castiel sighed as Dean released him, stepping away from him. "Just wanted to do that before we go inside." Dean bit his lip, shrugging his shoulders.
"I may never step foot in school again if it means more of that." Castiel smirked up at him. "Don't tempt me, Cas. Come on." Dean laughed grabbing Cas' hand, leading them across the parking lot towards the school. They made their way inside, Dean still holding Cas' hand as they marched down the hall towards the Principal's office.
As Castiel raised his hand to knock on the office door, Dean reluctantly let go of his other hand. Castiel knocked three times before the door swung open to reveal a girl with bright red hair wearing a Legend of Zelda shirt, jeans and rainbow shoes. "Oh, you must be Castiel," she smiled brightly. "Charlie, nice to meet you." she stuck her hand out towards Castiel.
"Welcome, Charlie. This is Dean, my b... Best friend." Castiel smiled faintly glancing sideways at Dean. "Dean Winchester, pleasure to meet you Charlie." Dean took Charlie's offered hand and shook it briskly before letting go. "Cas and I will show you around, then we can grab lunch later." he grinned throwing his arm over Cas' shoulders.
"Show the way boys, and please start with the computer lab." Charlie grinned at them. Castiel and Dean shared a look. "The lab is this way." Castiel announced gesturing in the direction with his thumb. Charlie moved to step in between them, throwing her arms over Dean and Castiel's shoulders. "Then let's follow the yellow brick road." she giggled.

"So, how was your first period Charlie?" Castiel inquired as she came over to join them at their table in the cafeteria. "It was good, thanks for showing me around. I definitely would've been lost otherwise." Charlie smiled moving to sit down beside Dean. "Glad you're liking the place." Dean nodded glancing at her. Castiel nodded, silently agreeing with Dean.
"I do have a question, if you don't mind." Charlie announced looking between Dean and Castiel. "Shoot." Dean responded throwing finger guns at her. "How long have you two been a couple?" she asked, her gaze dancing between them. Dean's eyes widened in shock, sputtering and blinking at her. Castiel smacked his chest, coughing up his drink.
"Shit, I was wrong about that, huh? I misread something between you two, my bad..." Charlie muttered, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment. Castiel was the first to recover, shaking his head at her. "You didn't misread anything," Castiel began. "It's just, we aren't exactly announcing that sort'a thing..." Dean finished for him, looking at Charlie.
"I'm so sorry, I would never want to out someone like that..." Charlie apologized, frantically waving her hands in front of herself. Dean placed his hand on her shoulder. "Relax Red, it's okay. Actually, it kind'a feels nice having someone here know about me and Cas." Dean smiled glancing at Cas across the table.
"It is nice. Perhaps we should be thanking you, Charlie. It feels like letting someone in on a secret." Castiel smiled softly at her. "Well, just so you know, I am in the same club as you two. I just swing for the other team." Charlie chuckled when Dean looked at her in surprise. "Clearly you two need to get more in tune with picking up on that thing." she smiled at them.

"Need a ride?" Dean asked as he and Cas approached Charlie standing on the sidewalk outside the school doors. "Oh, I was going to just ride the bus..." she responded quietly. "I have my car here, I was already giving Cas a ride. There's plenty room in Baby." Dean announced with a grin. Charlie glanced over to where everyone else was loading onto the bus.
"Yeah, sure. I wouldn't mind a ride." she nodded turning back to look at Dean and Castiel. "Alright, come on." Dean led them across the lot towards Baby, taking Cas' hand as they got closer. Charlie followed behind.
"Whoa, this is your car?" she squeaked running up to Baby. Dean and Castiel shared a smile.
"Yep, she's my Baby." Dean beamed proudly as he stepped up to the Impala and opened the back passenger door, gesturing for Charlie to slide in. Charlie ran an appreciative hand along the doorframe as she climbed into the backseat. "She's beautiful." she grinned at Dean as he closed the door.
Dean took a step back, pulling open the front passenger door for Castiel, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek before Castiel climbed inside. Dean shut the door and hurried around to the driver side, climbing in behind the wheel as he pulled the door shut behind him. "Where to Charlie?" he caught her eye in the rear view mirror. "I live off Pine lane." Charlie responded.
"That's one street away from Cas' place." Dean smiled, catching Cas' eye. "We're practically neighbors." Castiel hummed twisting in his seat to look back at Charlie. "I can pick you up when I get Cas for school tomorrow." Dean offered turning the key in Baby's ignition, revving the engine to life.
