We are back with a new chapter, while I am working on TMD I wanted to finish this, so let's get into reviews.
Guest: Yes, but how he does it is what stands him apart from Overlords and even other demons.
2000: Thank you, let's find the answer in this chapter. She most likely is. What will be?
Darkstel: No, no it won't look good if he gets into a fight.
Raven Mordrake: Is Adam happy? That's a pretty complicated question, let's find out with the next couple of chapters.
Kingdoom8097: Riveting.
Snakebolt505: Lol, it would be funny. Well with Pentious...I'm gonna save that for when the time comes.
Keegan25: Ooh, love that song, great choice!
With that out of the way, onto the story.
Chapter Five: Of Men and Devil
(HIM)
Adam laid against the tree, looking at the universe above Eden, watching as Angels moved the stars above with the help of their Creator, shaping the Universe in HIS image. All around him, animals that the Creator made laid around him, Adam gave them a name and a purpose. It was all so beautiful, watching new things be created and in doing so was given the responsibility to name it. This Garden was his Kingdom, and he was the King that oversaw it….but…..it was quite lonely. Oh yes there were Angels, such as the Lord of Light himself, the Lords of the Heavens, and Seraphiel or Sera as he loved to call her but…there was only Adam.
"Adam." The Lord of Light called to him, the First Man standing to full height, the Heavenly Father landed not that far from him, and by his side he recognized Sera but the Angel to the Father's right he did not. He was short, probably the shortest angel he ever met, with a majestic white robe and large hat on his head. The most thing that stood out were the blue spot on his cheeks, the large smile on his face.
"Adam, I would like to introduce you to the Joy-Bringer of Heaven-!"
"Nice to meet ya, the name's Lucifer!" The angel named Lucifer exclaimed with glee, flying up to Adam.
"H-Hi, I-I am Adam-!"
"Right, right. So, Oh Heavenly Father, wheres the King of Eden? Nice to meet one of his subjects but-!" As Lucifer continued on, Adam felt a strange feeling in his chest while being so easily disregarded.
"Lucifer." Sera chastised.
"What?"
"Lucifer. This is the King of Eden, Adam is the First of Man and it will be our duty to guide him into the Age of Man." The Lord of Light stated, Lucifer gawking at him before turning to Adam.
"This….THIS is the King? He doesn't even have wings, or a halo? He seems so…..plain." Lucifer criticized, Adam wincing as he looked at his own body. In comparison to the Angels, who radiated divinity, he did seem rather insignificant.
"Enough. Lucifer. Adam is the King of Eden and he will be treated as such, you will be one of the many guides along with the rest of the Lords and Ladies of Heaven." The Lord of Light stated, Lucifer gazing up at Adam with a judging gaze, making Adam feel small. Before a hand was placed on his shoulder, looking over to see Sera smiling sweetly at him with a patient gaze.
"It's alright, Adam, Lucifer can be…..dramatic, but he is the Joy Bringer of the Heavens and you'll love him." Sera stated, Adam nodding in understanding, as the Lord of Light walked up.
"Yes, as soon as he learns Humility like I've been trying to teach." The Lord stated, Lucifer chuckling nervously.
"S-So, Mr. 'King of Eden' wanna see something amazing?!" Lucifer held his hand up forming a strange sphere of wild energy, before letting it shoot off into the sky. Adam watched in amazement as the sphere exploded into colorful fire that spread across Eden, scaring a few angels nearby who glared down at the Joy Bringer, the Lord of Light chuckling.
"Amazing!"
"Thank you, thank you. Haven't gotten the right name for them, was thinking of calling them fire crackles!" Lucifer exclaimed.
"Fire…crackles….Really." The Lord of Light stated with a chuckle.
"Hey if it works, it works. And the fire works too."
"Fire…..crackles…..how about….Fireworks?" Adam suggested, Lucifer taking a second to think of the idea, before gasping in shock.
"THAT'S WAY BETTER!" Lucifer laughed, lunging onto Adam's face.
"I guess your not so bad, Mr. First Man." Lucifer laughed, and Adam couldn't help but laugh along, enjoying the bright smile on the angel.
Of course that was ten thousand years ago, and that bright smile hid all the jealousy, rage, and dark intentions the original Joy Bringer had for the First Man. Now here the Angel of the Bright Dawn stood before him, now the King of Hell, glaring up at him.
"Wow…..ya know when Charlie told me you were alive I just thought she was fucking with me. I mean there was no way you could be alive, you were stabbed in the heart twice, and I have never seen a soul die twice and come back." Lucifer mused, before gesturing to Adam in his Sinner form.
"And yet HERE you are, the very thing you took joy in killing. Kind of a fucked up sense of poetic justice." Lucifer teased, smiling up at Adam whose glare intensified. Charlie stared between her dad and the Father of Humanity, knowing if Adam fought he would die….but that isn't what she wanted. When she told her father Adam had returned he was enraged, wondering how the First Man had returned to life. She stopped him from going out to kill Adam, because she wanted to know if Adam was telling the truth about…well, everything: His apologies, his undesire to kill now, even just wanting to rock out. However, she knew Adam had a short temper especially when it came to her father, so she knew how this would go.
"I mean if Lilith or Eve could see you now, yeesh." Lucifer mocked, earning a look of surprise
from Charlie, who still wasn't completely over the sex joke her Dad used on Adam during the fight, but that was there not here. Yet the look in Adam's eyes caught her by surprise, expecting him to rage out, to finally show his true colors. It was rage, but then it turned into pain….regret? To the trio's surprise, Adam let out a loud sigh and walked past them, Mittens forcing her way out and growling at Lucifer before following Adam.
"...Huh, I thought that would get a rise out of him." Lucifer muttered, fully expecting Adam to show his true colors. He didn't believe a word his daughter told him about Adam's apology, it made no damn sense. He KNEW Adam, he knew him since the Garden of Eden. Adam was a child, a manchild who was glorified in Eden as some sort of damn King who the Angels praised endlessly. He had the ego the size of Heaven, and a love HE never deserved. So to see him walk away instead of fighting was….surprising. Lucifer followed after Adam, his daughter and her girlfriend behind him, to see Adam….working out. The First Man was lifting two houses connected by a metal pole, Adam muttering a number as he lifted and dropped.
"I see you took my little weight joke to heart." Lucifer mocked, noting that the First Man had lost his belly for the large body before him. Adam looked over his shoulder with a small glare before going back to counting. Now Lucifer was a little unnerved by Adam's 'calm' demeanor….still, he was sure he could push a few buttons. The Devil turned to the large demonic Smilodon, who seemed to be glaring at the group as it gnawed on a rib. He had seen the beasts outside the Rings of Pride when he and Lilith first crashed here, much like the Demons they were inhabitants of Hell, but unlike the Demons and Sins the Beasts did not follow his command. It was always on sight with him. It was different with the likes of Satan, who had beast that eclipsed mountains in Wrath, or the sea beasts of Envy, that answered to Leviathan's call. Yet one of them was not only following Adam, but seemingly like a pet for the man?
"I see you got yourself a new pussy, couldn't find yourself a real woman so you settled wi-!"
"Alright. I guess we're doing this." Adam growled, dropping the houses and turning to them with a glare.
What the fuck do you wat you porcelain bitch? I already apologized to your daughter, and made it very clear I don't want to mess with them." Adam said.
"Yes, because I'm gonna take YOUR word." Lucifer said.
"Right, because you are the epitome of trust, Prince of Lies." Adam mumbled, scratching his chest.
"Listen, I don't wanna fight-mostly cause I'm not that stupid enough to fight you as I am now-and because I don't want to. I don't want to be near YOU or your daughter or your 'Hazbin' Hotel, okay?" Adam asked, kneeling down and rubbing Mitten's mane, the demon cat letting out a deep purr. Charlie found it really adorable actually, she kind of wanted to lay in the fur and hug the beast. However, Vaggie wasn't having any of Adam's bullshit, stepping forward.
"Pff, and I'm supposed to take your word for it? Your Adam, the same bastard who ruined Lilith's life in Eden, the same Adam who has been killing these Sinners for the past two thousand years. The same Adam who tried to kill Charlie." Vaggie listed, Lucifer's eyes glowing crimson as she did. Yet Adam remained unafraid or unphased, merely turning to Charlie.
"Listen, Princess. I'm sorry I destroyed your hotel, killed your friend, and belittled your dream. Now can you please just leave me alone." Adam said, turning around to walk away.
"Dad?" Charlie turned to her father, whose rage turned into shock as he watched Adam attend to his demon pet.
"...Wow, he wasn't lying." Lucifer said in bewilderment, never expecting Adam to apologize, knowing the man's past.
"...Oh well." Lucifer said, holding his hand up with hellfire, aimed right at Adam.
"DAD! WHAT THE HELL?!" Charlie exclaimed, running up and standing between him and Adam.
"Ending a problem before it begins. Charlie, I know you want to save everyone, but for instances like Adam it ain't worth it." Lucifer said, but Charlie remained where she was standing.
"Dad, I didn't bring you out here to kill Adam, just to see if he was telling the truth! If he is, let's just leave him alone!" Charlie said. She didn't want to kill Adam, mostly because he should have already been dead.
"Duckie, some people aren't worth it." Lucifer said again.
"Charlie, your Dad is right, Adam is a monster and doesn't deserve redemption." Vaggie added.
"I know, but that doesn't mean we should kill him, Adam I don't know wh-Where did he go?" Charlie asked, the trio realizing Adam and Mittens were gone. Lucifer conjured a portal, showing the skies of Pride when he sees Adam.
"Hey! Uh-Hello! Trying to erase yo-HEY!" Lucifer gawked in annoyance as Adam lazily flew by, ignoring the portal. Lucifer tried conjuring more but the First Man kept flying away or under or around the portal. Lucifer growled in annoyance as he opened another portal and walked through.
"Alright, Asshole, say goodn-Where in Hell are we?" Lucifer asked as Charlie and Vaggie followed through.
"Adam's concert stage." Charlie answered, seeing several Exorcist Constructs move about with piles of metal spikes in hand. They saw the First Man standing over his Smilodon, the beast laying down with several iron spikes sticking out of it like a porcupine. They watched as Adam plucked out a spike, petting Mittens who let out a low growl, the First Man petting her on the head as he handed the spike to one of the constructs. Charlie, far more fascinated by this, walked over and stood a few steps behind Adam, even on his knees he nearly stood to her height.
"What…what are you doing to her?" Charlie asked, curious as Adam pulled out another spike.
"Mittens here, her species grows long spikes as a form of defense against bigger predators, so they don't eat her." Adam began, and Charlie tried to mentally think of a beast big enough and strong enough to devour this large Smilodon.
"However these damn things grow like nails so you need to pluck them out before they got to long. Luckily they're not too HARD." Adam pulled out an extremely long spike, tossing it aside.
"-To pull out, and she enjoys it, it's like Preening for Angels or Birds. Not that you would know that or your bitch clown of a Dad." Adam said.
"Hey!"
"I've seen your wings you clown, have you?" Adam retorted, ignoring Lucifer's snarl of rage as Charlie walked over, kneeling in front of Mittens. She slowly reached out, petting the demon beasts ear, earning a purr from her.
"She likes ya, she always did have good taste." Adam mused, pulling out another spike. Vaggie walked over to pull Charlie away but the Princess took her girlfriend's hand and placed it on Mitten's mane. Vaggie had to admit, the fur was really nice to pet, like the small infernal beasts at Lu Lu World. Lucifer slowly walked up and eyed the creature, attempting to reach out only to pull his hand back as Mittens snapped at him.
"She really does have good taste." Adam joked, ignoring Lucifer's piercing glare.
"Adam…..why aren't you seeking revenge?" Charlie asked, looking up at the First Man.
"You make it sound like that would be better than this." Adam said, standing back up, helping Mittens back on her feet.
"It would make more sense since it's YOU." Vaggie said, glaring at the First Man. Adam made a snort before shaking his head, looking over his shoulder.
"Princess, do you know how old I am?" Charlie was surprised by the question.
"Um….nine thousand years old?"
"Fucking close. I'm over ten thousand years old, not as old as that twink." Adam said gesturing to Lucifer who stiffened.
"But older than you, than the humans, than even the Sins and Hell itself. I've lived through empires rising and falling, I've fucking been through so many wars that FUCK-!" Adam glared at Lucifer, turning back to Charlie.
"-Started cause of his Pride and Ego, that it makes the wars humans waged look like kids playing in the sandbox. I've been killing Sinners for over two thousand years, and I finally get to rest…..and it took a knife to the back for it to finally happen. Sadly Death clearly doesn't like me, so here I am." Adam unfurled his wings, as large and imposing as his golden ones yet black as the night.
"A Sinner who killed Sinners, the Sin of Heaven and…..I'm tired." Adam admitted, letting his wings drop.
"I'm tired of killing, I'm tired of fighting…..if he wants to kill me, I can't even stop him. So if you're satisfied, go ahead. Or leave, like I said, I don't wanna be enemies but I don't wanna be friends either."
"...Do you miss Heaven?" Adam turned sharply to her, glaring at her.
"Of fucking course I do, I miss Heaven. I earned it, I worked hard to try and protect my family who didn't deserve banishment from Eden, and I tried to get ALL of them into Heaven but failed. Heaven is Paradise and I miss it, but most of all I miss my family: I miss my kids, my lovers, Emily, Sera, Peter, my fans…..but it's over. It's better they don't ever find out I'm down here. Hell is for Sinners, and Hell is Forever." With that Adam turned around and walked away with a pile of spikes, only to stop and turn to Vaggie. She glared at him with her one eye.
"Vajj…..Vaggie….I know it doesn't mean much but…..I'm sorry." Vaggie's eye widened in shock, but Adam turned around and walked away. Before she could say anything, she reappeared in the hotel.
"Dad?" Charlie asked, wondering why they were back at the hotel.
"God, that arrogant prick." Lucifer muttered, turning to his daughter with a smile.
"Well, he wasn't lying about apologizing but like I said earlier, Charlie. He's not worth it, I think its better if you stay away from him." Lucifer warned, before looking at his watch.
"I'll be right back, I have to meeting with Asmodeus with this new line of Fizzabots or whatever they're called. Be right back, Duckie!" With that Lucifer disappeared within a portal, leaving the Princess with her girlfriend.
"Vaggie?" Charlie asked, walking up to Vaggie, whose eye was wide in shock.
"He….he actually apologized for that…..I never thought he would, or for anything." Vaggie muttered. Charlie smiled softly, seeing that Vaggie needed that closure in life. Maybe they can't be friends, but Charlie was happy that Adam apologized for his actions for everything he did. Still, it ate at her knowing he missed Heaven but believes he won't get it.
"Hey, that's a good thing, it's a good ste-!"
"No. No, i-it was a trick, Charlie. Adam is a monster, he is a destroyer of ALL THINGS. I….I can't forgive him." With that Vaggie walked away, pushing past the recently arrived group.
"Shit, what happened to her? Did Dickhead do something?" Angel asked, ready to duke it out with the First Man, unaware of the look of sadness and yet hope in Charlie's eyes.
(HIM)
"Alright, good girl. Do ya feel better, Bitch?" Adam asked, patting Mitten's shoulder. He sat at the center of his stage, now with more spikes on the edge and along the spike of the ornament above, laying on Mittens. Night had come to the city, and while he never noticed before, as a Sinner he could see how much darker it was now to show nightfall. Right now he watched as his 'girls' all sat down in front fo him. He knows they ain't real, they can't even talk, but he made them act real because it's ALL he had left of them. His Exorcist Army, his girls, were like daughters. Side from Lute and the first six, the rest were daughters he didn't make but took care of. They were bred for Extermination, they were simply made for war, but he didn't just want that. He loved being a parent again, he loved raising them and teaching them how to fight because it gave him PURPOSE again.
Now….now he was alone, again, and he hasn't seen any of his girls. Did they come back like he did? If not, why? Why did he have to come back? Why couldn't he just stay dead? They didn't deserve to die, no angel in Heaven deserved to die, that was his reason for the Exterminations, or one of many. One were his kids, his lovers, and friends.
"Girls…..Abel…...Aclima….Kids...I'm sorry." Adam summoned his guitax, slowly plucking at the strings. As he began his song, the music slowly moved across the city, the feeling of it passing over the Sinners. Whereas Adam's first song gave everyone excitement and a feeling of joy, this song…this song brought guilt. A feeling most don't feel now, enjoying the pleasures of Sin, all stopping as that wave of music hit them like a punch to the gut. Even the Overlords stopped in their duties, Rosie stopping mid meal of…..whoever she was eating today.
"Eve. If you were here now, I could never look you in the eye." Adam sang, shame in his tone and eyes. The last time he saw his son, Abel looked at him with a glare of betrayal, his daughters worried and upset, even Seth and so many others were shocked by the revelations. That shame was felt throughout the city, Carmilla looked out her window, eyes widened in surprise….did a tear fall down her cheek? Even at the hotel, Charlie looked out the window, that feeling as if her heart had just been stabbed. Even Nifty began to cry, forcing Angel Dust to comfort her in confusion.
"I'm just like the Devil. My sins made you cry." Adam closed his eyes, seeing the look of shock in his lover's eyes, the look of betrayal on Emily, the shame in Sera's. He failed them all, his girls, Lute…..even Lilith.
"I float like a feather, in this beautiful world!" He remembered dying, waking up to the Gates of Heaven, welcomed by Sera, the Lord of Light, and Heaven itself. His hardships were over, and for the first time he wept, embraced by Sera and friends.
"I wish I was an Angel! I was so fuckin special~~~!" Unlike Saints or Winners, Adam wings grey to rival the Lord of Light, so mighty and beautiful. He was loved, he was adored, it made him feel so much more than how he felt in Eden….yet he missed that simplicity. Many Sinners across Pentagram City began to cry, feeling shame for the acts they are committing right now, the pain they've brought, everything.
"But I'm a freak~~~! I'm a loser~~!" Adam hit the acoustic, as he looked down at his wings, his near greyish-black skin, once he looked like he did at the prime of his mortal form, now he looked just like the Devil. He hated it, he missed his wings, he missed his halo…..he missed the old Adam. Now, now he was everything he stood against for Heaven: A Sinner. The first Soul to fall.
"What am I even doing here~~~?!" Why did he have to come back to life? Did he even deserve a second chance? His girls should've come back to life and not him, no one should have died..…but him.
"I belong here~~ I…..belong here~~~!" Adam finished, ending his song. The wave ended and like a drug, the feeling of guilt left everyone. The Sinners went back to destroying their own lives or others, while at the center of it all, Adam sighed in defeat.
"...Sorry, Jeremiah, this is gonna be a long road for me." Adam muttered, running a hand through his hair as his Exorcist disappeared.
"...Well, I hear the first step is admitting your mistake." Adam resisted the urge to roll his eyes as he looked up to see Adam flying down towards him, a shit-eating grin on his face.
"Charlie doesn't need to know about this, and I could just end you so EASILY right now." Lucifer growled, flames dancing across his hand.
"You've killed thousands of Sinners, demons, and monsters in your long life." Lucifer mocked.
"My daughter believes there is a chance for redemption, and I trust in her dream…..but not for YOU." Lucifer aimed his cane at Adam, the First Man said nothing, glaring up at the King of Hell.
"You were Heaven's little golden dust ball, made to be 'perfect' but I saw the REAL Adam." Lucifer said, walking around him.
"The golden manchild who was raised so high on his pedestal he was believed that all Angels should bow to him because he's 'The Man', a supposed King of Mankind. Now look at you. You've become the very thing you hated: Prideful, Lustful, Gluttonous, wrathful beast that fell from Grace." Lucifer mocked, gesturing to Adam's sinner form.
"...I could end you, you know that. I could beat you before, I was one of the few who could, but I can do it SO easily right now to this…lesser version of yourself." Lucifer said, staring down at Adam in disgust.
"I could do so, and simply tell Charlie you left to the Outer Circle of Pride, wishing to be left alone. Not a trace of you will exist….but instead I will say this." Lucifer leaned down until his face was near inches to Adam, a grin on his face.
"Apology accepted." Adam looked at the King in confusion as Lucifer continued.
"I know it took a lot for you to see the error of your ways, what a monster you have become. So prideful and disgusting, much like a lot of your ancestors, even now." Oh sure Lucifer believed in redemption, but that didn't mean a lot of Sinners weren't still disgusting, Alasbor or whatever his name WAS prime example of fucked up sinners.
"In time I'm sure we can get along and se-!"
"Eat shit."
"...Excuse me?" Lucifer growled, turning around only to see Adam standing before him, tilted down just enough to glare at the King.
"Eat shit. Dig into the deepest, darkest, coldest pit in Hell…and GO Fuck yourself for the rest of oblivion." Adam growled, tipping Lucifer's hat with a finger.
"You think my apologies were meant for YOU?! Now that is a cruel fucking joke on cosmic proportion. It will be a cold day in HELL before I ever apologize to you, Poison of God." Lucifer growled at the mention of one of his titles, but Adam continued.
"The only thing I am ever sorry for is hurting your daughter, what I did to her. I won't deny it, I was most likely going to kill her, even if I wasn't suppose to you." Lucifer's eyes glowed red, but Adam went on, to hell with being silent.
"Yet I'm glad you saved her….because if I did the deed, I would've sealed my fate and been the one thing I despise most in this Creation: You." Adam growled, unfurling his wings as flames danced across his arms.
"You speak of pride, yet you are the MOST arrogant creature in all of existence, seeing yourself as a victim when YOU made yourself one. We're all here because of you, Lucicunt." Adam said, gesturing to the world around them.
"You wanna talk about monsters?! Let's look at the greatest evil of them all: The Devil himself." Adam gestured to Lucifer, waving his arms in the air.
"His silver tongue so strong, he convinced the human race he didn't exist, that he is the greatest atrocity to have been and to be: The Serpent who caused the downfall of Eden, who brought Sin into this world. The one who caused The Flood, Ragnarok, and atrocities for eight thousand years!" Adam proclaimed, glaring down at Adam.
"Who is so egotistical, so revolting, he has no shame going after those I loved most: Eve, my friends, my sons, my daughters...…..Cain." Lucifer's eyes reverted to normal, glaring up at Adam.
"So thank you, Old Scratch, thank you for stopping me from killing your daughter, for reminding me to NEVER be like you. You can pretend that you're a new devil, but YOUR still the Devil." Adam finished.
"...You arrogant fuck." Lucifer growled, horns shooting out of his head.
"I will-!"
"What?! Kill me?! Torture me? Go ahead, do your worst!" Adam threw his arms out, offering himself to the King.
"You killed me TWICE! First with Babel, and then your daughters little revolt! Yet Death could not take me! Torture me, show your daughter the real Lucifer! The Fallen Star!" Ada exclaimed, glaring at the Fallen Angel. Lucifer stared into Adam's eyes for a good few moments, before reverting back to his normal state, letting out a sigh.
"I don't care for you, Adam, because I'm the only one who saw what you were. I won't go against my daughters words, but don't expect protection just because your the 'Man'." With that Lucifer unfurled his wings and took off the ground.
"You're in Hell, Adam, and you have a LOTTA enemies, both Sinners and Demons. Don't be surprised when you have a bullseye on your back, or love from those who consider you the boogeyman." With that Lucifer disappeared in a portal, leaving the First Man alone. Feeling Mittens lick his fingers, he rubbed the beasts head reassuring her before making his way back home. He mused he is gonna need a bed, preferably one that isn't old or covered in filth and drugs or diseases. Clinging onto Mittens, Adam had another peaceful night, only to be awoken by repeated knocks to his door.
"The hell?" He muttered, standing up and heading to the door.
"Surprise, Adam!"
"JESUS CHRIST!" Adam exclaimed, eyes wide in shock to see Charlie again. She wasn't alone, most of the Hazbin Crew save for her father were here, holding up a poster with the words 'Welcome Adam' on it. He looked at the group in confusion, before peering down at the Princess of Hell, a large smile on her face.
"Adam, I had some serious thoughts last night, your apologies and clear dream of returning to Heaven!" Charlie began, smiling up at Adam. She had been up all night trying to rack her brain how to bring Sinners into the hotel. That's when it all clicked: Adam, the first Soul to enter Heaven and fall into Hell. If she can redeem the First Man, she could redeem anyone.
"And I want to help Sinners redeem themselves, and that starts here! Adam, I would love for you to come and rehabilitate yourself at our Hazbin Ho-!"
"Fuck. No."
(HIM)
And so begins the comedic trope of 'Leave me the fuck alone' in media, with Adam and the Hazbin Crew/Overlords of Hell. The main focus of the chapter is Adam and Lucifer. Obviously these two had history, whatever it was in show I could care less for, gonna focus on my version which is sort of more Biblically accurate or well...as close as it gets. Adam doesn't stand a chance against Lucifer, this is like literally the final boss in a Dark Souls dlc. The song wasn't the best I'll admit, I'll probably change the lyrics later, but it obviously as a mix of Creep from Radiohead and the remix in the Book of Life movie. There will be MORE rock songs, but like I said this is still a love letter to Music, next song will be a Heavy Metal song. Oh and Adam's answer at the end is what it will be for the Hazbin for a while, his journey is gonna focus outside the crew for a while, or at least outside the hotel. He will go there soon but it won't be the main setting of the story like in HIF.
Adam isn't afraid to call out the Devil on his bullshit, and I already voiced my criticism of Lucifer in the show. This story takes place as a AU sequel while Hell is Forever is an AU rewrite. However like in the show all we know of the past is from the shit prologue, so Adam essentially called out Lucifer on his bullshit and the atrocities. Ragnarok, the Flood, the other rebellions, and of course...Babel. What's the story behind that? We'll find out soon enough. Lucifer isn't a main villain but he WAS in the past, moreso a side antagonist alongside the Sins in certain arcs. Why doesn't Lucifer just end Adam? Cause Lucifer IS trying to be a better person...but will fail in certain regards, he is gonna be a better father...but he IS the Devil. Adam also apologized to Vaggie which will be addressed more later, this isn't a one time moment and it is a BIG fucking deal for her. A lot of the Exorcists are like daughters (Save for Lute and six others and he KNOWS the difference) but they AREN'T his, you will learn so who they belong to.
One thing I feel like the show doesn't make a point, but the characters (Lucifer, Lilith, Adam) are FUCKING old. Adam is thousands of years old, older than Hell and the Sins yet he has to be this terribly written dudebro jock for the sake of making the Devil himself a good guy. It's fucking wild, but my point is no one acts their age and I'm sort of fine with that, like a coping mechanism of sorts. It's funny how this is unironically the second time Adam is a dick in a show about making the Devil the good guy the second time was in LAPD Devil edition I mean Lucifer. Love the actor, but the show got ridiculous over time and strayed SO far from the comics I don't even know what it referenced or even bothered with making it based on certain characters. Anyways, as we explore Adam's past in Heaven and Earth I show y'all why he was, the way he was. Probably two more chapters before we begin the next arc: Deal with the Devil. With that more songs, more adventures, and more arcs to come.
Zer0the0mega108 out!
