(Flashback – Two Years Ago; Continuation…)

"KYAAA!" Two of Kei bullies were afraid by what they saw.

Kei's long, yellowish-hair that was tied to a long ponytail suddenly move on her own and slice the reddish hair girl chest, almost cut her body in two and killing her on the spot. The one that responsible later stand up while her hair obscured her eyes.

"You three… You killed a person… Without any remorse." Kei said in surprisingly deep voice. She then lift her face to look at the remaining bullies. However, her eyes lost her pupil and she had that plain, indifferent look on her face. "Then, it's fair if the three of you prepared to be killed as well, right?" She asked toward no one in particular as the screen later being slashed by her hair.

(Flashback End; Will be Continued…)

"All of the stuff already prepared Fyodor-sama. If you want, we can return to the mainland alongside Sigma-san at any time you want." Ivan said toward Fyodor as he informed it in formal tone. Currently, Fyodor is preparing everything he need before escaping the island.

"Please be patient Ivan-san. We still not yet have any information from Nikolai and Manabe-san. Ah, I forgot how about Pasthor-dono? Won't he return back with us to the mainland?" Fyodor asked his most trusted subordinates with cryptic smile.

Ivan let out a sigh. "Fortunately, Pasthor-dono request to stay on the island watch over what Nikolai-san will do to the girls. He also still quite injured because of the battle." He explained.

"I see. And this is happen when I'll make him get closer to the God he so admire." Fyodor let out a sigh before narrow his eyes as he truly not expecting Siesta will interfere this much to his plot on the island. "The existence of Siesta-san is truly something that I not expect at all. What's Agatha-san thinking by sending her here while we have the same goal? But in any case, she won't make so many moves." He said with assurance for himself before widen his eyes and smirk. "Tell me Ivan-san. Do you remember about a particular event on a small district in Nagasaki? Our Manabe-san back then truly brings out an interesting piece of news."

"Ah. The case where three middle grade girls was critically injured by a mysterious assailant right? What a beautiful case it is. If only Fyodor-sama was there you can surely give them a better salvation from this evil world." Ivan commented with glee.

"It was truly surprising. Yamashita-san report to me that the one with the greatest accusation of the incident becomes a student on this land of sleeping pups." Fyodor then picks up a piece of paper that shows ANHS statistics for a particular person. Before continuing her espionage mission, Saki gives him the data of all ANHS student that she manages to gathered so far. "Yamashita-san was too kind for this accursed world. For that, using her as my extension, I'll free her from her task of serving me in the holiest way possible."

On the battle site, Saki narrow her eyes as Kei's strands of hair which its tip turn into blade-like shape launch toward her in a piercing formation.

'A Special Ability to control her hair freely!? How's that possible!' She thought in disbelief as she manages to jump to the left to dodge it. However, instead of losing its trajectory, the hair strands turn around, chasing her off. 'It chase me!?' Saki then decides to run on her feet to avoid being grabbed by it. She then jumps off to a tall tree using her agility, making the hair stopped chasing her for a moment.

"You won't escape." Kei declared as the strands of hair start to slithering around the forest, looking for Saki hideouts among the trees.

On the tree that is not too far from her jumping location, Saki is seen sitting on a large branch while panting in exhaustion. 'Ugh… With this condition, there's no way I can win against her in a straight-up combat. The exhaustion from fighting against Atsushi-kun still catches up to me. Did I must make a retreat?' Saki thought for a moment before shook her head in disagreement. 'No. I won't disappoint what Nikolai-san order me to do. At least, it will be another one of my accomplishment before Fyodor-san leaves the island.' She then stands up from the tree branch. 'In that case, I'll just avoid fighting her and goes toward Class 1-D camp, abducted Kushida-san and quickly go back to the base. If it can happen, it's my victory.' She thought before she feels something was holding her left leg. She then look in shock as strands of hair was the one that done it. 'She manages to found me!' Saki thought in shock. Before she could react, Kei was able to lift her up from her hiding place using her strands of hair. Exposing her to the previous open clearing, she then brutally slams her to the forest floor, creating loud sound and dust that shook the landscape.

On Class 1-D main camp, Nene just put the unconscious Kiyotaka on the boy tent after giving him the anti-venom to lessening the venom effect. As she want to take no part on Atsushi fight against Saki because it not concern her at all, she decide to guard the main camp in case of another rats of Fyodor appears.

"However, I realized that Karuizawa-san was not in the tent. Where'd she gone exactly? And from what I realized, Satou-san also not in the tent as well." Mori noted as she stand in front of the girls tent. Not long after, she heard the boom sound that cause by Kei battle against Saki. This makes her snap her head toward the direction of the boom sound. 'What is that? Based from Akutagawa-san description, Atsushi Nakajima Special Ability is strong enough to cause that kind of destruction. But I have a feeling that's not caused by him. Shall I go to take a look?' She wondered before she sensing a familiar face walking toward the main camp of Class 1-D.

"As I suspected. You're the one that manage to escape being drugged to sleep." Dazai said as he walk toward the main camp of Class 1-D. "Hello~ although we met frequently on the class, this is the first time after six years we met again." He said with hollow smile. "How are you doing, Mori-chan?"

Stunned for a moment, Nene narrow her eyes as she sent her rose vines toward Dazai. However, the instant it touch his body, the rose vines suddenly disappear into blue lights.

"Have you forgotten Mori-chan. Special Ability won't work on me." Dazai said nonchalantly with a smile. "However, I'm glad you protected them despite it was not your mission."

Special Ability: No Longer Human

"Tch." Nene grunted as she deactivated her Special Ability on her own. "I saved them because it was the most logical decision that came in mind." She said with firm tone before her expression turn melancholic. "How does it feel to be in the light, Dazai-san? How does it feel when you leave those that cares for you in the Port Mafia, damn traitor." She asked with plain tone.

Dazai sighed. "Mori-chan. Please make me remember something." He then jump toward her and later touch her shoulders. "How'd you grow to a beautiful girl like Gin-chan~. What a miracle it is! So tell me, have you've been ever thinking to accept my proposal? I've been ask you for around 50 times you know. But that damn hat rack always intervenes! So tell me Mori-chan! Will you accept this time to do double suicide with me!?" Dazai said in rather comical tone, completely the opposite of the cold tone he just uses. What he gets though is a slap from the brown-haired girl.

"… Don't you dare ask that kind of question… When you betray us… Leaving me… Without even saying anything…" Nene glared at her with murderous gaze before she take a few steps back, take a deep breath before her demeanor turn to her normal one once again. "However, that's a thing in the past and held no importance to the current situation. I guess you come here because you realize the anomaly on this island then." She guessed.

Turn his head toward her like the slap doesn't ever happen in the first place, Dazai smiled and nod. "Indeed. From what I get, seems your class suffers much due to his plot. If I not wrong, Jouno-san of the Hunting Dogs should be with your class thanks to his fiasco with Kouenji-kun right? Where is he?" Dazai asked as he not seen his presence at all.

"He's back to the cruise since his comrade suddenly appears here this morning. From what I got, it seems they were ordered to return by their captain because of some task." Nene informed. "So far, there are two or more assailant from Rats in the House of the Dead. I can also be certain that Nikolai the Clown was in cohort with Fyodor during all of this. So far, there are also two females that affiliated with him. One of them-" Nene informed all she know so far before Dazai cut her off.

"I know that Yamashita-chan was one of Fyodor's spies ever since I stepped upon Class 1-C. However, one of them is exactly like what Mori-san informed me three years ago right?" Dazai said which Nene nod in confirmation.

"She's indeed a version of Shiho Manabe from a different timeline than ours only she looks much older. Her Special Ability seems revolved around venom manifestation." She then glance at the boy camp. "Not even he can withstand that venom."

"If that so… It seems I manage to guess although still ambiguous of where did he hide on this island. In the morning, the sounds for us to evacuate from the island will be heard. Please tell that to your classmate. For now, I'll deal with Karuizawa-chan in order to cancel her Special Ability from becoming berserk." Dazai said as he turns around to walk toward the battle location between Saki and Kei.

Nene watch Dazai walk further toward the battle location before she called him. "Dazai-san. Before you go, can I ask why do you want to safe her? You know it yourself how the Demon acts. We probably won't get anything we want from her." She asked with serious tone, referring to Saki.

"That probably right. However." Before continuing his answer, Dazai fondly remember the time when Saki was inside the Literature Club was genuinely happy by interacting with the other members. Some of it like tries to make prank to Itachi, sharing ideas with Hiyori, Atsushi and Suzune, singing along with Honami, and take photo together with Airi. "She's the member of the Literature Club. It was my task as her supervisor teacher." He simply answered before continue to walk to the battle site, leaving only Nene to look at him with serious look on her face.

On the main camp of Class 1-A, Masumi was not sleeping. She currently practices her Katas in order to keep in shape. After doing some crescent kick, she then jumps backward; manage to land safely on a branch before land down on the ground.

"You're not sleeping… Kamuro-san?" Masumi then look behind her to see Arisu approaches her as she tries her best to walk as fast as possible using her cane. A look of genuine curiosity plastered on her face. However, the purple-haired girl noticing something.

"I suggest you shall go to sleep, Sakayanagi. I see clearly the bag below your eyes." Masumi advise with plain tone as she continuing her training.

Hearing it, Arisu silent for a moment until she let out her trademark smile. What Masumi said is the truth. She barely sleep ever since Yamamura was gone. "Fu fu fu. Did Kamuro-san worried about my well-being?" She asked with polite tone.

However, Masumi can sense Arisu a little bit annoyed by her concern. "You're worry about Yamamura aren't you? If you truly worry about her, then go to sleep and do the search once again in the morning." She said as she see Arisu clench her cane tightly.

"Thanks for your concern Kamuro-san." Arisu however choose to sit on the rock that close to her standing position as she put her cane beside her left leg. "However, I can't sleep at all. So I… Just want to sit here to see your training. After all, it was truly a rare occurrence seeing one of the participants of that infamous middle grade martial arts tournament three years ago train their body. Perhaps I can ask you to perform during the Sport Festival." She commented.

"Is that so?" Masumi wondered as she doing another roundhouse kick movement. "However, the other class also harbors monsters as well. One that we can't underestimate at all. Just because we're A-Class, we can't act all high and mighty to look down on other classes. However, you notice the strange things that happened on this island right? This is not the time to talk about something like that." She said.

"Is it not? Not when Yamamura-san explaining something special to me. What's about a certain fog incident in Yokohama-" Arisu however stop her talking when she feels something heavy coming from Masumi.

"Stop that." Masumi stop her training before glance at Arisu with gaze that able to swallow someone soul. "I only said this for your own safety as well as Yamamura. The less you known about Special Ability, the better. Because, if you decide to delve deeper into it… There's no going back. You'll be involved in our world whether you like it or not." She finished her warning. "Don't ever pry into it. Unless you're prepared."

Arisu, despite being stunned by Masumi's sudden change in tone, didn't relent at all. "I see. Now the damages on the building where Hanabusa-san put up her last stand against you and the other three makes sense. Which means, Hanabusa-san have Special Ability that she not told me."

Masumi hardened her gaze on Arisu after hearing her explanation, before finally relent it. "I see… So you already know that much. Still, I'm quite surprised that despite what you knows so far, you never considers the fact that-" Before Masumi can continue though, she sees two people, which is Honami and Siesta who already healed enough coming toward them. "Ichinose… What're you doing here?" She asked rather confused. However, Siesta is the one that replied.

"About Yamamura's disappearance, it seems we finally find clues. The one that caused it without a doubt the terrorist group called Rats in the House of the Dead. Based on Dazai-sensei assumptions and investigation, there's no doubt that all of them were here." Siesta explained which cause Masumi to widen her eyes in disbelief.

"Are you serious? That is not just a normal terrorist organization!" Arisu at the first time sees Masumi's panicked face as she also never heard the name of such terrorist group. "If that so, this island currently not save anymore. We need to evacuate from here!"

"F-For that, Dazai-sensei already take cares of it. H-He said that all of us will be going back to Speranza at 10.00 a.m. But first, we must save the capture students." Honami explained.

"What about the Hunting Dogs? Shouldn't it be their job for the strongest soldiers of the country to do something like this?" Arisu asked, finally following the conversation. 'Still, to think that a mere terrorist dare to tainted my father's school like this… I wonder who are they?' She thought in anger. Siesta just shook her head.

"That can't be done. I don't know why but both of them suddenly called back to the mainland by their captain. As the current condition of the world was not stable…" Siesta explained to her before Masumi finally speak up.

"If that the case, we have no choice but make our own teams and move on to truly search for Yamamura and the others this time." Masumi concluded without missing a beat. "If the teachers can't help with the search then I will." She then turn around to walk back toward the cave.

As Masumi return to the cave, Siesta then look at Arisu. "Sakayanagi-san. Since you're with Kamuro-san, it seems I can guess you already know about the existence of Special Ability?" Siesta ask for confirmation.

"I did. However, Sadly I can't help if we must make search team on our own. However, I try my best to persuade Katsuragi-san to maintain the calmness in Class 1-A." Arisu replied as she stands up from the rock she was sitting upon. "When we arrive on the mainland, I promise that this terrorist will pay."

Back on the battle site between Saki and Kei, the twin-tail girl condition was worse due to the hard throw Kei give her. Her body was dirtied with dust and battered with scratches. The hair tie that she used was loosening up thanks to the crash, letting her black hair flow freely on her back. Her left eye was also closed, probably because of the dust entering it. The impact create shallow crater on the forest floor.

'W-What is that? H-How could she has such power?' Saki thought in shock as she find herself at the mercy of Kei. Her body was badly injured and she not even have the strength to stand up. Her folded spear was snapped to pieces and her utility bag contents was scattered thanks to the crash. 'I-I can't move.' She grunted as all of sudden, strands of Kei's hair race toward her with tremendous speed and constricting her on the neck, both of her arms and legs as she slowly lifted to the air.

"Any last words?" Kei asked in hollow tone as she strengthening the constriction on Saki's neck as another strands of hair slowly form into something.

"Kggh… A-Ahak…. K-Kaagh…" Saki gasps for air as she feels the constriction become stronger and stronger.

"No need to worry. I'll end you-" The strands that Kei gather previously turns into a sharp blade in shape. "-With the same way you stab him." She proclaimed with plain tone as the strands prepares to stab into Saki's stomach.

Widened her right eye that ix still opened, Saki was clearly trembling in fear. 'I-Is this h-how it will end for me? K-Killed by some damn random Special Ability Users…' She thought as from this position plus her body injuries, there's no escape for her. 'N-No! I-I won't end it like this! I-I still need to make t-that world become a reality. A worlds… That free of Special Ability! Fyodor-san dream… I must-' She then gasps in surprise as she remembers a certain random scene.

A many activities that she do on the Literature Club room with the others. More specifically, the moments that she spent with Itachi and Hiyori.

'W-Why… I remember something like that…' Saki thought in confusion as the constriction on her neck becoming stronger. 'Humans… Are sinful and foolish… But… W-Why…' She widen her remaining eyes in surprise as the sharp hair strands start racing towards her to pierce her through the stomach. She then close her eyes as she knows she won't survive this.

'Why I think about them… At an important time like this?'

However, Kei hair strands never reach Saki's stomach as someone suddenly jump and cut through her hair using a knife. He also manage to cut the hair that binds Saki's limbs and neck, and then carrying her bridal style as he lands to the ground.

'I-I'm safe…' Saki thought as she feels being held by someone. She then slowly opening her right eye to finally see her savior. "I-Itachi-sama…"

"You shall go to sleep." Itachi said without looking at her as using his right hand, he then cloak Saki's mouth with a handkerchief prepared with sedative liquid before he goes here, start to make her drowsy as she finally falls to slumber like those that being affected by her Special Ability. 'If what Dazai-sensei inform to us was right, Saki's Special Ability won't work if she became unconscious. It means… Atsushi should be wake up soon.' He analyzed as Kei's hair strands start to race toward him and will pierce him through if he not jump away in time. 'Plus now, we have Karuizawa from Class 1-D who somehow becomes berserk.' He then gaze toward Kei. "Karuizawa right? Stop this. Saki already lost." He tries to persuade her, to no avail.

"You… Why you protect someone that kills other?" Kei asked in hollow tone as she gathers the hair strands that launches toward Itachi. However, he is more than ready as he revealed bring a utility bag that Yosano borrow to him. Picks four knives after putting Saki's body to the ground, he throws it with extreme precision, cutting off Kei's hair strands that race towards him.

'So her hair still needs to needs some regular density for it to slithering around. It's reasonable though.' Itachi analyzed Kei Special Ability as he now knows what her weakness is. He then look behind Kei, when someone already prepare to attack.

Without her knowledge, Ryuuen suddenly pounces forward toward her and put her in a bear hug from behind, locking her in place as well a huge parts of her long hair. "Ku Ku Ku. Who thought that a bitchy gyaru like yours was able to do something like this? Eh, Karuizawa?" He taunted her as he struggles to hold her in place. However, the hair strands that previously goes toward Itachi and Saki suddenly turns toward Ryuuen, aiming for his neck. 'Damn shit!' He thought as he force to release Kei and jump backward, avoiding the hair strands that stabs the ground where he was standing just a moment ago. 'So this is Special Ability!? Ku ku ku, interesting!' He thought as his adrenaline rise up, reminds him of the harshness of Suribachi.

"You too reckless Kakeru." Itachi said as he dash toward Karuizawa before crouch down and kick her directly in the left cheek, throwing her several feet away before she uses large strands of her hair to make her launch on the air halt as she stand firm on the ground once again. "Her Special Ability covers all-range plus she can harden her hair strands at will. I don't think our initial plan will work out as planned." He lightly scolded him. He put Saki's body leaning to a tree before.

"Huh. In battle you suddenly act like an old man." Ryuuen replied with a smirk as he saw Kei hair strands waving around her. "If that so, how it will works? My intellect not for a battle situation like this. I leave it to you."

"That was what I doing." Itachi replied as he looks toward Kei who seemingly prepare to do her assault once again. 'From what I analyze so far, her Special Ability is long-range, but I can't erase the possibility it also can be used at close-range as well. The way her mental state currently in, she seems has no consciousness of what is happened. Maybe I'll bet at that.' He thought as he look at Ryuuen and throw him one of the knives from Yosano, which he swiftly take. "Kakeru."

"Ha?"

"If I doing a move to catch her off-guard, how long you think you can react to Karuizawa's assault and hold her back?" Itachi asked with no nonsense tone.

"Let see…" Ryuuen wondered as he twirls the knife on his right hand. "Probably half a minute."

"I see." Itachi simply replied as he suddenly jumps upward to the closest tree branch.

"It seems one of the bad people was running away. I think before start with her, I'll start with you first." Kei declared with plain tone as she sending numerous strands toward Ryuuen. However, instead of wary, he just smirk.

"Ku ku ku. From what I see." Ryuuen then duck below the strands of hair before swiftly cuts the soft parts that controlled it before rolling to the right side and prepare his stance once again. "It seems it won't be easy as your damn brain think Karuizawa. After all, someone who rarely experience violence like you won't understand how it works to deliver fear to your enemies."

Not replying, Kei then walk forward as she forming another collection of hair strands and shaped the end to a fist, then send it toward Ryuuen who jump out of the way in time to see that it creating deep crater from the force of its attack.

'So her hair shape is not just a show off. It makes me remembers something unpleasant.' Ryuuen thought as he remembers a young boy with a black aura akin to a hound surrounds him. 'Let see now. From what I watch, Yamashita seems doing something to Nakajima that make her become like this. If that so, what is the requirement for her to being distracted?' He thought as he glances at Atsushi body who still asleep before smiled. He then run toward Atsushi and standing in front of him.

What Ryuuen just did seem manages to pay off. It make Kei let out an unexpected reaction besides the plain, emotionless look on her face. Her face currently shows anger and panic.

"GET AWAY FROM HIM!" Kei screamed in contrast to her previous tone as she sends her fist-shaped hair backward before launch it again at Ryuuen. However, at just the nick of time, Itachi jump down right behind her from the closest tree nearby. Before Kei can turn her head, Itachi slice most portion of her ponytail, cut off the hair bracelet and make her hair, now only neck length thanks to Itachi, let loose and makes the fist-shaped hair that goes to Ryuuen falls to the ground and turns back to strands of hairs. Not wasting any chance, Itachi then kick Kei in the back with the same force as the time he kick Kurenai during his infiltration of Konoha long ago. "Ahak!" Kei gasps as she thrown toward Ryuuen.

"Get away from there!" Itachi called loud as possible to Ryuuen.

"No need to tell me that! After all…" Ryuuen then slightly move to the side as Kei body went past through him. "… It seems he just arrives." His eyes glance backward to see Dazai approaching by slowly walking.

He then sighed. "Itachi-kun, Ryuuen-kun. Seriously." He then pull out his right hand from his jacket pocket and punch Kei stomach as his Special Ability become active, nullifying her berserk state as she slowly close her eyes as Dazai direct her body to the ground, creating loud sound. "If it goes as plan, at least give this poor teacher the least contribution~ Now I punch a beautiful double suicide candidate because of you~"

"Huh. Keep dreaming. However, to think your Special Ability can nullify others, you are like a total counter to every Special Ability around… As long you touch them." Ryuuen said with disinterested tone as he turn to look at Dazai who already crouch down and checking up Kei's body.

"However, despite we manage to discover that… Saki was Fyodor's spy, we still reach dead end as she was heavily injured by Karuizawa, she currently losing consciousness and we can't get any information from her." Itachi said as he approaches both Ryuuen and Dazai. Despite the fact, he truly still can't accept the fact that his fellow classmate was a spy for terrorist.

"It's an empty victory then? This Demon really played us." Ryuuen chuckled as he truly interest with the way Fyodor do the things. "However, why'd Nakajima not awaken yet I wonder?"

"Seems I misjudged Saki-chan Special Ability. I think that to nullify her Special Ability, it was enough that cause her to pass out. But it seems… I must touch her." Dazai said as he touch Atsushi, activating his Special Ability as Saki's Sleeping Beauty effect on Atsushi was nullified. Mumbling, he then slowly opens his eyes, greet by Dazai's face. "Uuh… Dazai-san…"

"Ya! Nice sleep you have there, Atsushi-kun~" Dazai said with his goofy smile.

Atsushi then immediately gasp and sit up. "Y-Yamashita-chan! Did she-"

"She currently unconscious." Itachi said as Atsushi later look at him. "However, I'm glad that you not suffer serious injuries, Atsushi." He said with a relief smile.

"Itachi-san… Ryuuen… Why'd Class 1-C are-That's right! Karuizawa-chan-"

"She's fine. You shall thank her after she awake by the way." Ryuuen then glanced at Kei unconscious form who mysteriously has her hair slowly growing back to its original length. "She's the one that seemingly beat up Yamashita before the three of us arrive here."

"I… See…" Atsushi uttered before looking at Kei who's body lie down on the ground and seemingly falling asleep. "Dazai-san… I think you already know about this, but Fyodor-"

"I know. He after all have the gall to meet me face to face on the second day of the special exam. From what I see, he seems arrive on this island at least three or five days before we arrive here." Dazai explained Atsushi's worry. "I already set up that this exam will be the first one on ANHS history that being cancelled because of terrorist activity. Mashima-san currently talks about it to Sakayanagi-san first. It will probably in the morning it will be officially announced."

"I see. However, there's still missing student to be concerned of. From our previous encounter, Satou-chan from my class also went missing. In her place was another one of Fyodor's spy. From what I see, it seems she disguise herself during our first arrival on the island." Atsushi explained. "All of Class 1-D currently being drugged by sleeping drugs. So currently, no one-"

'That makes sense. He truly love to spite on others doesn't he?' Dazai grimaced before stand up and walk toward Saki. "For that you have no need to worry Atsushi-kun. Mori-chan escapes from that and currently tends the others. You shall take Karuizawa-chan to the main camp as well." He instructed.

"O-Okay!" Atsushi then pick up Kei's body, only for him to hardly able to stand. It seems it was the side-effect of Saki's Special Ability.

"No need to force yourself Atsushi." Itachi said as he help him to stand. "You do more than enough. Leave the rest to us so you can rest up before we exiting this island."

"Still… To think we let a spy able to entering our class without you who is good at reading people intention suspicious at all. Seems Hanabusa really wasting our time back then." Ryuuen smiled to himself as he feels like a fool for not discovering a spy of the terrorist despite his pride as good cold reader.

"It's not our fault at all. A spy of terrorist can't be equalize with a student." Itachi said to ease Ryuuen worries. "Still… I think after this incident, Saki's fate already being sealed."

"Ku ku ku. Indeed." Ryuuen said in agreement.

"For that, I think you can't antagonize her that much." Atsushi joined which make Itachi and Ryuuen look at him. "Before I was knock out, I try to persuade her and from what I see… She truly thinks of all of you as her friends. Her eyes while facing me… Was conflicted and sad…"

"However, that's not the reason we shall take pity on her. No matter what her reason is, Saki was threating the whole students on this island. Not to mention she probably responsible for the missing students." Itachi argued before sighing. "I know this fact when I talk to you Atsushi. For me, you are a truly kind person that tries to understand other motives. It's not like that I understand why you sympathize with her because I know someone in particular who is also like that." He said in fondness, indirectly mentioning Naruto. "However, the truth is that not all people as kind as you. Take Kakeru as example. He said that he want to buried Saki six feet under when he discover it."

"Oi. I think it's you that shall be buried." Ryuuen said with annoyance.

"If you ask me, I also want to at least take her side. After all, she is still my classmate and our club mates. But for now, we truly need the information we need from inside her head." Itachi finished his argument.

"I understand Itachi-kun. What you said was right." Atsushi seriously nod in agreement as he understands that despite not showing it, Itachi also worried about Saki in his own way.

"Now then." Dazai then crouch down to Saki's sleeping form. "It's time for the sleeping beauty to be awaken. Although not with a kiss of Prince Charming of course~" He joked as he touch Saki's forehead, nullifying her Special Ability which is revealed use on herself before Itachi manage to knock her out.

*GASP*

Shock is what the reaction that Maya Satou shown as she immediately sits up after she feels something that chained her consciousness suddenly melts away. Panting in shock for a moment, she then look at her surroundings.

'T-This is… The same room as back then…' Maya frantically thought as she suddenly remembers something. 'The information I received back then! I must quickly-'

"Uuuh…" Maya then look to her right as Yamamura also open her eyes. She then slowly sits up and look at Maya. "You're…"

"You from Class 1-A, right?" Another voice asked as Shiho also already awaken as the effect of Saki's Special Ability being nullified by Dazai. "Ugh… I feel great headache. Not after-" She then widen her eyes as she remembers Saki stab her before she losing consciousness. 'Saki-chan… Are you also in here?' She thought as she look around, only to see Satou, Yamamura, and Mako that just awaken before jolt up and quickly sits up.

"Honami-chan!" Mako screamed as she frantically look around to see the other three. "W-Why there's another class in here?"

"We still not know yet. However, I think we can agree on something. Did the one that capture any of you was a foreign man, probably from Ukraine with the outfit like a circus ringmaster?" Yamamura pressed despite the fact she actually afraid.

"Its-" Mako try to reply but then meekly speak up. "I-It was. T-That man… He injured-" She then widen her eyes as she unable to hold her throw up seeing the blood that come out from Honami back then thanks to Nikolai.

"A-Amikura-san!" Satou suddenly forget her panic and gently caressing the Class 1-B girl's back.

"My last memory… Was of my own classmate suddenly stabbing me in the stomach…" Shiho uttered which heard by Yamamura. "H-How about you… Yamamura-san?" She asked.

"I-I can't remember a thing…" Yamamura mumbled. "After that man with the strange hair color touch me… My memories… Become jumbled…"

"As I predict. You girls are really a disappointment."

Shiho widen her eyes at that voice. 'I-It can't be!' She then look forward to realize that the four of them are on the inside a makeshift cell make from Ivan's Special Ability while their legs was chained to the ground. Not far from the cell there's a makeshift chair where 'Manabe' was sitting as she looks at her counterpart.

"But I feel quite bored here watching the four of you just sleep. You awaken means that Yamashita was defeated." 'Manabe' then look at Shiho who look at her in shock of her voice: They are the same although the former sounds a bit older. "It's nice to meet you… I suppose. My counterpart of this world."

Awaken from her shock, Shiho then narrowed her gaze at her counterpart. "Who are you?" She asked.

"I am you and you're me. It's really that hard to comprehend? Or because you're not one of the exceptional student of ANHS that the brain of you four can't handle a simple guesses?" 'Manabe' mocked.

"You're lying."

"Are you an idiot or something? As my counterpart, you're a disappointment." 'Manabe' sigh in disappointment.

"Ara! I see that the four of you already awaken! Good night if I must say~" Nikolai greets their captive as he walk then stand beside 'Manabe' who's sitting on her makeshift chair via Ivan Special Ability.

Mako gasps as she remembers the voice quite well. She then looks up to Nikolai and have angry look on her face. "What is happened with Honami you monster!?" She screamed with hateful tone, completely baffled all of the others as they never expected Class 1-B students who's known for their kind nature can lash out like that.

"Aya~ No need to worry! Here's a quiz then. When someone was injured on the head, will she survive or not?" Nikolai asked in glee, completely disregarding Mako's anger toward him. He then spin dramatically. "The answer is… There's probability! Oops, I answer my own question again…"

Mako was really baffled and shock by what she just saw. This man truly saw life as nothing more than games like Joker. "…. You monster…" She shivers in anger at Nikolai's disregard for human life.

"Hee~ This is unexpected since from what I know you from Class 1-B are nothing more than Ichinose-san slave that always agree with what she have on her naïve mind." 'Manabe' commented as she turn her attention to Satou who also hold an angered look toward Nikolai and her. "And you're one of Karuizawa-san bitch am I right? I'm quite surprised that she in here seems not like what she did in my previous world. For that I respect her."

Satou however don't reply and only narrowed her gaze at her.

"C'mon! There's no need for such hateful look on your face! I come to here after all with good intentions! That is… To free all of you!" With a click of his finger, the makeshift cell crumbled, although in actuality it was Ivan that do it on Nikolai's signal. "However… Before we go at the main event! Tell me… What is feel to be free?" He asked.

"Why should we answer-AAAH!" Mako retort before being slice on the right arm by Nikolai using his Special Ability to transport his right hand that's holding a knife.

'W-What happened!?' Satou thought in shock as she clearly not seen a portal that already closed.

"Ugh…" Mako hold her tears at the immense pain on her right arm as she hold the wound using her left hand. "It hurts…" She sobbed as Satou acts quickly by ripping off her trousers to at least cover the wounds.

"You should paid attention when someone asking." Nikolai said with a smile as he cleans up the blood on his knife.

Shiho eyes shaking as she saw the act and glared at Nikolai. "What are you after exactly? Why bother capturing and hurting us who has no benefit to you?" She asked with serious tone. After her experience with Akutagawa and Dazai plus some knowledge from both of them, there's no way she will be afraid that easily.

"That's a quite interesting question~" Nikolai said as his tone suddenly changed. "Any people that I hurt and even killed also ask the same to me!"

"Here he goes…" 'Manabe' sigh as she already know what her superior will answer.

"They all went, 'Why are you doing this?' Over and over, their blood, nerves, and muscles spilling out everywhere! For that question, I usually have two responses. However, Dos-kun said to me not to do that first response to any of you. Because of that, I'll go to the second response." He then takes of the mask that obscured his right eye. "I am completely sane you see. I know that hurting innocent people like the four of you is wrong. I also feel guilty for injuring the blue-haired girl although I deserve it for hurting her friends." He said with seemingly honest tone.

"I… Don't get it…" Yamamura was shocked by what she just heard. Everything this man said doesn't make sense at all.

"I'm certain in your head you asked why I still do it despite I know it was a wrong thing to do? Let me ask you question then. Did the four of you like birds?" He asked innocently.

This question make Shiho widen her eyes in shock. This man truly insane. There's no hope for him.

"I like them." Nikolai express his honest feelings on his heart. "The full freedom of flight, not being bound by gravity… That's what I always wanted. To be free from becoming caged bird and fly freely as I wanted to."

"… Insane…" Nikolai then turn to look at Mako who look at him hatefully. "All of you said… Is nothing more than a mere words said by someone like Joker…" She spat.

However, instead of being attacked by him, Nikolai sigh in disappointment. "In the end… Only Dos-kun and him that manage to understand me. That's why… I give him mercy killing three years ago." He said in a bit sad tone.

'Three years ago!?' That simple words awaken Shiho from her shock. 'What does he meant by that? Why it on the same time as-'

"But put that aside!" Nikolai then dancing around before posing dramatically. "From what I've heard from Dos-kun, ANHS was humanity greatest sin that make the students become someone that unable to trust anyone right? Well then, I actually very eager to test this theory of mine! But at the same time, I want to help you get out from here!? Which is why…" He then point to the four of them. "The four of you will form pair…. And will do a competition to see which one will escape from this hideout first!" He declared, leaving the four of the ANHS first year have a mixed expressions of shock, anger, fear, disbelief, and baffled. All of a sudden, chains made from rock appears out of nowhere and chained their hand as well as they are pinned on large cross, forcing them to look at Nikolai and 'Manabe'.

"You really doing this, Nikolai-san?" 'Manabe' asked in bored tone. "Remember, the longer we still on this island, we're vulnerable to the government. Especially if Hunting Dog gets here."

"No need to worry for that Shiho-chan. By the way, prepared to do that to them okay?" Nikolai asked as he pick something from his cloak: two syringes that seemingly filled with something.

'Manabe' sigh again as she rise up from her makeshift chair and take the syringes. She then walk toward Shiho. "Sorry. Order from heaven." She whispered to her ear as she inject the syringe to Shiho's left shoulder. She then also do the same to Satou before walking back toward Nikolai's side.

"Now then… With the conditions are done, the extreme special exam… NIKOLAI GAME… Begin."

At last. After all I don't plan this chapter to be a long one because the next one will truly be a long chapter as we can see Nikolai planning something here and we know… Nothing ends well with him.
