As I was walking out of the ship I gave Jeena a thumbs up to tell her me and Rallen will be okay.
I gave her my reassuring smile as I turn to walk back outside.
(Meanwhile outside the ship)
"come on what taking you so long" Said Rallen.
we see Rallen tapping his fingers on his upper arm a bit impatiently for Naruto to come out. He turns to hear the sound of my foot steps walking out of the ship.
I got off the ship and see Rallen waving to me.
"Hey Naruto" said Rallen, he asked me why Jeena wanted to talked to him.
Naruto chuckled at Rallen's question. As I tell him just that Jeena wanted to tell me to be careful outside when we are working on our task.
"Ya ya Naruto.. come on we got to do this so we can get this task done" said Rallen waving his hand lazily.
Naruto let out a grin at Rallen that he knows when that grin is when Naruto and Jeena does the don't be reckless talk to him.
"Oh come on, I'm not that reckless" said Rallen trying to make himself innocent which Naruto and Jeena both know from time to time he can get reckless and to less observant of his surroundings.
As Rallen and I got to are respectful destinations we went off the collect fossils and minerals to feed the Spectrobes.
It was trial by fire with Rallen and Naruto collecting the fossils with Naruto collecting them at 100% recovery, while Rallen excavation skills were not the best as we see him getting upset at a few failed attempts.
"oh come on I almost had it" said Rallen holding his head with both hands upset.
Naruto chuckled and went to place his hand on Rallen shoulder.
"come on it's not the end, besides it's not so easy the first time" said Naruto who smiled at him.
Although we did hit a few roadblocks and bumps. Like a few times krawl started to attack me or Rallen.
As we see a montage of them fighting the enemy with their Spectrobes bye their side.
"Rallen to your left" said Naruto.
"on it" Said Rallen.
It's been a few hours since after our first task of collecting fossils and training the Spectrobe's and learning the in an out of them, so far progress was booming.
I use the battles to hone mine and my Spectrobe's skills.
As we see Naruto and his Spectrobe take out the krawl with such precision and tactics.
I noticed that Rallen is getting better at properly wielding the Spectrobe's, he has his faults but he is getting there.
(Few minutes later)
Jeena and I are studying the data of the battles so far. we were still checking thoroughly to see what needed to be improved or what needs to avoid.
As we checked on the Spectrobes that are awakening and in the incubator system. Me and her study and found out some Spectrobes when they evolved their combat skills changed or stay the same.
For example some can go to mid-range, long-range, and traditional close-range.
we still got a long way to go but we have a feeling with all our skills together we will beat these krawl.
I made sure to take a few hour breaks so she wouldn't get worried about me, I don't want to worry her about getting hurt. I smiled at the memories of seeing her happy and excited gosh I just wanted to see her smile so brightly that beautiful smile again.
so far we done some decent collecting of the fossils and minerals, we even found data cubes.
(man that's a throwback I remembered about the data cubes back from high school if I remember correctly, our professor talked about this in the last science class a few years back.) as Naruto was thinking back on memory of that day.
Flashback
(digital bell ring sound)
"chatter of students talking"
"door opening"
"Good morning class" said professor. As he walks in to class.
As class was going we change the subject of types of minerals to subject on data cubes.
one of my classmates raised their hand up to ask about it. I and Jeena were also curious about the data cube as well.
me and Jeena looked at each other and couldn't help but chuckle at the professor's legendary monologues when he gets to interested in his research study's.
"That is an excellent question" said professor.
"Data cubes are collected ancient historical information contained in a very strong and endurable material like crystal".
"as study show from what scientist have discovered, this Is Crystal made from some type of unknown advance science that was made from an ancient civilization from ages ago."
Me and Jeena both have been doing research on it as well, so we can understand why the professor likes to study on about data cubes so much.
(digital bell sounds)
"oh goodness, it would seem that our class is about to end. Well class don't forget about your studies in your homework testing grades and finals are about to come in the next few months, so make sure to study" said professor.
"Yes professor" all the class said.
I and Jeena both went to the library and went to study the information for the exam.
Flashback Ends
I smiled at the memory because it was very entertaining that time.
"man time sure flies by" Naruto thought about it.
A alarm sound interrupted my memory, so I contacted the team to tell them that the commander is calling.
Naruto contacted Rallen and Jeena in the scouter signal. We see him press a device on his wrist guard.
" Rallen, Jeena get to the command station the commander is has contacted us" said Naruto.
"Roger that" said both.
"Aldous you might want to follow me to the command station to" said Naruto.
Aldous nodded his head and followed him to the station.
(A few minutes later)
As Naruto and everyone assembled at the command station he press the respond to contact the commander.
"Rallen,Jeena, and Naruto do you copy" said Commander.
"Yes commander" we all said at once. As we got to our seats we listened to the commander on the digital screen.
"I question why I didn't get a report back from the distressed signal" said the commander with his arms crossed at base.
Jeena and Naruto looked sheepishly with him raising one of his hands to scratch his head an her pointing her two fingers together in embarrassment and apologized for not sending a report instantly after the incident.
"Never mind we got a emergency signal from the scientist and archeologists on planet Genshi, some reports from some of our operatives were attacked by some sort of hostile life forms I will need you three to go there immediately understand" said the commander.
"Yes commander" they said in unison.
As the screen shows the commander who nods his head before signed off and closes.
"It looks like we have to go to Genshin" said Rallen.
"Right" Said both Naruto and Jeena.
As they set the location for the ship to go. We see the ship starting to lift up off the ground and the trajectory to Genshin.
Author note: salutations readers sorry for not making any fictions for a while. I was in a creative slump. I hope these two chapters that I'm writing will help make up for those times.
