The Order of Heroes was a group unlike any other. Not many kingdoms could claim to have figures from other worlds as allies. But despite its namesake, there were more than a few in the Order who the term "Hero" might not be that fitting for various reasons.

One of those reasons of course being the darkness that surrounded them. There were quite a few Heroes who while dabbling or wielded darkness, clearly only used that power as a tool for good. However there were others whose use of darkness went beyond just a tool.

There were victims that had no choice with darkness. There were those whose essence and very being revolved around it. And of course, there were those who entered it of their own free will, be it for power, bargain, or even to be with those they loved.

And the latter was where two heroes meeting at the top of the east tower of the castle belonged to.

"So, why is it you called me here?" A dark-purple, messy-haired lad asked, only taking a moment to glance at the view provided to him after having not come up here for a while due to…personal reasons. He wore a black, compressed shirt with long sleeves and gloves that took a shade of purple with a reddish tint around the middle of his arms and front of his chest, hinting at the physique he held underneath. The beige, striped shirt he would sometimes use to cover this was tucked around his waist and held in place by the belt he had, which also served to keep up his rather large black and golden-patterned pants. The cuffs of his pants were lined with purple drapes which almost hid his open-toed shoes. His attire was finished off with the black and purple patterned tactician's cloak that acted more as a cape at the moment with its unused sleeves flowing behind him from the wind.

The person who he was speaking to, a lass of similar age and looks, leaned over the railing. Her own dark-purple and short messy hair flowing from the wind as she turned her head to look at him, allowing their eyes - a similar shade of red - to meet. "Come now, can't we just have a little sibling talk every once and a while?" She asked with the faintest of grins, something that while not impossible to come from her, was still somewhat uncommon, at least in this situation.

The lad momentarily raised a brow at her in response. "You've been influenced by your counterpart, you don't normally make jokes that…lighthearted," He remarked, while his tone may have sounded accusing, he was merely stating an observation.

It was the lass's turn to sigh. "Perhaps, you should try and do so on your own. While I was rather reluctant at first, I'll admit that the experience has been… interesting , even enlightening at times."

"I think I'll decline, I can't say I was a fan when they tried to socialize with us when we first arrived. It'd be better for only one of us to regularly socialize with these other heroes while the other watches from afar. And clearly you're in a better position to perform the latter," The lad replied while crossing his arms. "Plus I'd rather not have to deal with that hassle of them trying to identify us with different names. Morgan or Marc, whichever one they used didn't matter to me, even so they seemed to make such a big deal over properly identifying us, not just as siblings, but with our counterparts as well."

His sister, Morgan, merely shrugged. "Very well, it's your choice," She told him, ending the matter as she pushed herself off the railing and fully turned her body towards her brother who shared her name , Morgan.

She wore an attire similar to her counterpart, a flier's uniform. Though unlike her counterpart which only added certain parts of her tactician's coat in the uniform, she wore the whole thing under a set of cuirass armor around her torso with bits of a short pleated skirt poking out of the bottom. A few bits of armor shielded other parts of her body such as the golden shoulderguard she had on her left and the plates that lined the edge of her coat over her hip and thigh. Her legs meanwhile were covered by baggy pants that were tucked into a pair of high leather boots with her hands encased in a pair of gloves.

"In any case, let's get down to the reason I wanted to meet with you. Remember some of our fellow fallen heroes we talked about last week?"

Fallen Heroes was a term used by some to describe some of the more dark-aura heroes of the orders. Where it originated from no one knew exactly, perhaps some regular soldier? Either way, the Askr siblings made sure to express their disdain for such a title, Sharena especially stated that no hero should be called as such, wanting all of them to be treated equally. Most Heroes who tried to have positive relationships with the Heroes with darkened-aura also agreed, though quite a few still used the term in whispers or behind closed doors.

Morgan himself didn't blame them, finding the term to be rather fitting. To call them Heroes would be strenuous, however, fallen heroes, well that fit their position much better. Still, it wasn't like he cared what they wanted to call them either way.

Focusing back on his lass's question, the lad responded. "The three who have been acting strangely, even more than usual?"

Morgan nodded. "Yes, I've been keeping an eye on them recently, even questioning other heroes for information including my counterpart. And I think we may have both a problem and an opportunity."

The lad raised a brow at the lass at her words. "What do you mean?" He asked, wanting her to elaborate.

"It would seem our fellow three fallen brethren have been having a bit of trouble with their power lately. Certain... urges have caused other heroes' attempts to team up with them to be difficult, more so than usual."

Morgan took in her words with interest. "I see, we knew something was up with them, but for it to affect their interaction with other heroes negatively - more than usual - is concerning. It could cause a problem we don't need, and eventually spiral into something more troublesome."

His sister nodded in agreement. "Exactly, which is why I think we need to take care of this sooner rather than later, personally I might add."

"Fair enough, I suppose, it wouldn't be the first time we've done stuff of this nature. Do you already have some sort of plan?" He questioned.

"Yes and no, in truth it depends on you if I'm being entirely honest."

The lad blinked in confusion at the lass's words. "What do you mean?"

"While I said we should handle this personally, in actuality I believe it is best for you to do it on your own. Specifically, I want you to attempt to get close to those three and attempt to personally help them while also forming a positive bond with them as well," Morgan elaborated, placing a hand on her hip as she stated the basics of her plan to her brother.

He in turn raised an eye before asking, "This is rather unexpected, why me? Wouldn't you be better suited to bond with them for them given how you've been more socially active? In fact, why just me? Can we not do this together?"

Morgan let out a sigh. "It's precisely the fact that I have been - as you put - 'socially active' that I don't think I'd be that suited. They might be weary of me due to some of the Heroes I've been associating with. You however have mostly been keeping to yourself, they might open up to you more easily," She stated before rather playfully adding, "Besides, I know you've gotten rather close to one of them already."

Morgan didn't seem that amused by her words, narrowing his eyes at her in annoyance. "She and I shared similar interests, that is all."

His sister raised a brow at his use of the word 'shared'. Regardless she chose not to focus on it, instead, turning her head towards the railing, rolling her eyes out of view. "Whatever you say, in any case, are you in?"

Her brother's response wasn't a yes. "I'm still skeptical in all honesty. Out of them, as you said, I only really know one. The other two less so, and one of them may be rather difficult considering her nature. It might be best to have someone else attempt to help those two truthfully," He suggested

The fallen lass however didn't seem interested in the proposal. "While that is a possibility, yes, I think it'd be best for you to at least give them both a shot. If your efforts are successful at least we know they won't be a future problem, and at best, you might court their favors, perhaps even gain potential allies. Plus considering our position, having them as allies would be very handy to have, especially for our masters."

Morgan's eyes narrowed at his sister once again at the mention of who they served, but he also thought about her mentioning of gaining the favors of their other fallen heroes. In truth, he hadn't really considered that, but thinking about it, it was a rather good idea.

"Very well, I suppose I'll give it a shot," He stated after deliberating for a few moments. "Do you have any other information that may be of help, like these urges that have ailing them?"

Morgan's eyes seemed to flicker in what her brother thought was potential anxiety, however that didn't seem right so he dismissed the idea and thought he had merely imagined it. Her reply, however, sounded a tad strained.

"I'm not exactly sure what their issues are, but from what I have gathered it shouldn't be anything you aren't capable of handling. You've done so in the past, I'm sure," She told him before adding, "Though if you had to start with any of them, I believe it'd be best to focus on the manakete. She seems to have become increasingly erratic and the most likely to cause a problem at this stage I believe, so it'd be best for you to take care of her as quickly as possible. The other two can be tackled at your own discretion, just try and start soon before the other heroes come in and you lose your chance."

The first part of her reply confused him, the fallen lad raising a brow. How didn't she know what it was yet claimed he could handle it like he's done so in the past? Her wording was strange to him. Still, he decided to not press her on it. They were allies after all, in fact, they held a very close bond. They trusted each other potentially as much as they did their master, though they'd never admit it. So if she believed he was capable of this, then he'd try not to disappoint, especially when success carried many potential benefits.

" Hmm ~ In that case, I suppose I'll try and visit her in a bit. I'm free for the rest of the day. However, it might be difficult to find her in those woods she likes to keep herself in," Morgan stated, ready to turn around and make his leave in preparation for his new assignment.

But before he could, the lass stopped him. "Actually, there's one last thing I wished to discuss with you," She told him, prompting him to pause in his steps and turn his head back to her in curiosity. He found himself a bit surprised at how she looked undoubtedly unsure , evident by how she gripped one of her arms and the small shade of pink on her cheeks while holding her gaze away from him. "Ever since we've been summoned here, we've yet to partake in... that ."

Morgan narrowed his eyes at his sister, unsure of what she meant. However as she continued to look nervous from her words, it soon dawned on him. "O-oh, that …" He replied in realization, his cheeks now sporting a similar tint to hers as he also now found it a bit difficult to focus his gaze on her. Memories and images of private moments shared only between them flicked in his mind, causing his voice to become unnaturally strained similar to hers just seconds ago. "Yes, it has been a while since we've... indulged ourselves."

The lass nodded. "I was wondering, after everything we've done since coming here: gathering information, establishing our positions, helping to keep things from becoming troublesome. Well, I wondered if you thought it'd be nice to forget about all that and just..."

Her words trailed off, even so her meaning was apparent to the lad. After a few moments of silence, he replied, "Yes, that would be nice," His voice was rather soft, indicating both fondness and longing for what they were referring to as he asked, "So when do you propose?"

Her tone matched his own as she gave a somewhat shaky reply, "Would the end of the week work for you?"

He nodded, the tone for his reply still rather nervous, rare for others to see, save for her. "Yes, though I tasked with a mission the day after. Still, I should be free for the entirety of that day at least."

"Go-good," She stated, her hand tightening its grip on her sleeve while her legs gave off the faintness of squirms. She took a moment to recompose herself before saying, "Anyways, you should head off and focus on your current assignment."

Morgan was quick to nod. "Of course, I'll work on that right now," He replied, turning around to make his way off the tower.

But once again before he could do so, his sister had one last thing to say, something that was uncommonly said between the two.

"Good luck..."

Morgan paused in his steps, unsure if he had heard correctly. Shifting his gaze back towards his sister, all he found was her looking off past the railing and into the castle below. Clearly, she wasn't going to repeat what she said, still, Morgan couldn't help a reply.

"Thanks,"

With that, he went off, intent to complete his assignment. Both fallen Lad and Lass's cheeks were still slightly tinted as they thought on their unspoken promise on their end-of-the-week activity, not helped by how their hearts were stirred by their parting words.

Despite claiming that the other was at most second in their hearts after their masters, their bond with each other perhaps ran deeper than they'd ever admit.

Author's Note: Alright, so, gonna clear this up. This story is based on a comic about Fallen Morgans and some Fallen Heroines I commissioned almost 3 years ago. Ever since then I wanted to turn the idea into a fleshed out fic, and after 3 years of working on it on the side, I've got a good chunk of it done. So to help kick myself into gear and finish the last few parts, I'm gonna finally start releasing it this year.

This part right is just a prologue to set up it, but don't worry, the actual first chapter will come out very soon, next month in fact. So I hope you can be excited for it because hoo boy is there a lot of sex in this fic.

Though, if you were hoping for some actual smut this month, don't worry, Morgan's got something special coming up next week
