Hi all!

I know that Fanfiction's servers hasn't exactly the best recently, as of this chapter, this appears to have been fixed now.

Anyway, here's Part 3 of this adventure, so far, 2 more rogue's have been picked up as allies, and the search for Disgust is still going as planned... even if it's not described in full detail, but again, no one is perfect.

Also, this part is NOT for the faint of heart, you've been warned!

Here we go!

4 hours after the search began in long-term...

The solo search I've been on while Sympathy, Hype, & Shyness were in different parts of long-term and Riley's mind in general was starting to drive me up a wall. It felt as if I was on some form of LSD, or as if I was in abstract thought for several hours. It got so bad I even thought all of her memory balls (colored green, duh) was a sign of her around the next corner.

"Damn it Disgust!!! You have to be around here somewhere!!! I'M LOSING IT!!!" I cried out before Hype somehow found me in his endeavor.

"Everything alright?" Hype asked me. With my craze at an all time high, I snapped back at him without any second thought.

"WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE TO YOU!?!?!? We've been out here for 4 GODDAMN HOURS!!! Nothing is going alright out here!" I said in a fit of craze induced rage.

"Look... I know you want Disgust back very badly right now... but raging about it isn't gonna make anything better... can we please try and calm ourselves... cause I've been going nuts as well... it's the simple effects of long-term that can mess with us, but that doesn't mean you give up hope. Also... are you really in love with her? Since one of the rogues I heard called Disgust your lovebird." Hype responded. I did start to feel myself calm down a little.

"Y-yeah... sigh, Hype... when I was sent to HQ along with Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, & Embarrassment... seeing Disgust for the first time set off a fire in me that I just couldn't put out, yet, I knew it'd be hard on the other emotions if I'd have told them straight away... I tried to tell her myself, but Disgust's body tried to make sure it didn't happen. Until one night, when her body faced another stress attack through Greed's goddamned dream that messed with me again, she finally told me herself, and well... we really haven't been separable since. Not even during the Norovirus incident. Bottom line, Hype... yes I'm crazy for Disgust." I said after giving myself a minute to calm down.

"Oh... well... I mean... that's kind of cool actually... not like I've seen that before..." Hype responded in a slight stutter.

"Wait... what do you mean before?" I asked him, all curious.

"It's too much for me to try and explain, being honest..." Hype answered, then followed this up with, "However, we'll get her back... I promise! Don't give up hope yet. You're not lost because you ended up losing your way in long-term. You just need help."

I took that in, gave it a minute to process what he said, then... had my life flash before my eyes for some reason.

"That... felt great..." I softly said before turning to Hype and saying "Come on. Let's get her back."

"There you go! Look who finally came around!" Hype responded enthusiastically. And so, the search goes on.

40 minutes later

We've gotten nowhere so far, and I was so hoping around this time that Hype was wrong about Pleasure holding Disgust hostage and that she somehow managed to escape him (unbeknownst to anyone at the time, this ended up being the case). Around this time, I saw a green figure around the corner. Not thinking much of it, I went to inspect.

And lo & behold, it turned out to be Disgust! Or... so we thought.

Despite me having my calm self back, I was so happy to see her again, I rushed over to her, that was until I got about 200 meters away from her, and that was when I noticed something was off.

"Uh... Hype... this doesn't look right..." I said to him with a bit of worry. As he would've, he rushed over to me. "Yeah... since when was her neck scarf darker than this..." Hype said in a low tone.

"What? It's always been like this?" She replied, however, not in her usual voice. This made me question if I was still on my craze rush. Hype had to reassure me otherwise.

"I know you well enough Disgust! That's NOT how you'd normally sound! Who are you fooling!?" I asked a bit angrily.

"Don't be silly Cupid! It is me! In the flesh!" It answered back. And this set off the biggest red flag in existence.

"Just one moment!!! You're not Disgust, you're..." I started.

"Depression." The rogue answered, turning herself back to her normal figure, she looked similar to Ennui, but much darker in appearance.

"I KNEW IT!!!" Hype yelled out loud! Welp, rogue number 6 of 7, as it turns out, was able to transform into anyone she chose as an "escape from reality" for some odd reason. Which put a lot of the mind workers in hot water for some reason.

"You caught me... what do you want?" Depression asked in her to-be-expected sad voice.

"Disgust! Is it that hard to understand! Who do you work for!?" I snapped at Depression

"That Pleasure guy or whoever they're called, I don't care..." Depression responded. Clearly not caring about any of her surroundings.

"Welp, NOT ANYMORE YOU'RE NOT!!!" Hype responded, before Depression willingly let herself get beaten into oblivion in the forgotten memories pit.

I was shocked to see this. "Well... shall we?" I asked him, before we moved on to another part of long-term. However, neither Hype nor I would be making it far before Sympathy turned the corner and called out my name.

"CUPID!!! HYPE!!!" She yelled out

However, she wasn't alone. As guess who was accompanying her?

Much to our shock, Disgust!

Apparently, after she escaped Pleasure's custody, she hid in long-term, as this was one of Pleasure's weak spots, long-term.

As soon as I saw her for real that time, both of us rushed over to one another to re-unite with one another.

"DISGUST!!! So glad you're okay!!!" I said to her while hugging her.

"Yeah... none of you want to know what I've been through... who even is this guy anyway?" Disgust responded, still looking half-traumatized

"Hype! At your service!" Hype responded back to Disgust, before Sympathy got our attention again.

"However, despite getting Disgust back... we've a major problem on our hands... I don't know how to put this but... Shyness got kidnapped by Pleasure! Worst part, I saw it happen! I tried to come back to tell you both specifically until I just randomly found Disgust a couple of lanes away from where you both were. Oh and by the way, where's Depression? Thought I heard her a bit ago." Sympathy said.

"Oh, don't worry about Depression, took care of her already... and WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT SHYNESS!?" Hype began enthusiastically about defeating Depression so damn easily, then became shocked that his companion was missing.

"Yeah, she's been kidnapped." Disgust responded a bit arrogantly, not wanting anything to do with Pleasure ever again.

I saw Hype starting to feel some rage in him, as it was building up.

"Okay... Hype, keep it together man! It's not the end of the world because Shyness is missing!" I tried to intervene.

"Hype... please don't..." Sympathy also tried to intervene.

Disgust put a worried look on her face, she too didn't want Hype to lose it.

However, it was far too late.

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!? WHY DIDN'T YOU DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!?!?!? This is the ONE thing I was worried about with Shyness! BEING SO MOTHERFUCKING GULLIBLE!!! GOD!!! IT'S LIKE HALF OF YOU ARE SO INCOMPETENT, I CAN'T... I DON'T... I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN HERE!!!" Hype raged.

The rage made Disgust & I remember the several bits of rage we made to the other emotions when Riley caught Norovirus.

"Hype... please! This isn't the worst we've been through!" I responded.

"BUT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!" Hype yelled back.

"I may not fully know you yet... but yes, Cupid & I have been through much worse situations than you have. Just because Shyness isn't here right now... as protective of her as you're sounding to me.. we're gonna get Shyness back from that sick bastard!" Disgust responded. Hype FINALLY calmed himself after that.

"Yeah... apologies... I just wish Sympathy could've at least tried to stop him. sigh... Yes, Disgust is right about one thing... I'm more or less extremely protective of Shyness... she's the closest thing I am to being a parent... Shyness is like a sister to me..." Hype responded before he started to cry, being regretful of snapping in-front of everyone

"Look, Hype, believe me, I tried to, but he literally told me to back off unless I "wanted to join her", so... he's a bit worse than I thought..." Sympathy replied. Meanwhile, I was calming Hype down, again.

"Wait, what!?" I responded in a bit of confusion. "Well Hype... she tried." I immediately said back to Hype.

"Well, Sympathy... your efforts are appreciated..." Hype responded back while trying to get his cool back.

5 minutes later after Hype calmed himself...

"Well, what are we all waiting for!? It's time to send Pleasure back from once he came from!" I said, being ready for anything at that point.

"Alright y'all, hold on tight!" Hype said, gathering all of us, then teleporting us to the front end of long-term, nearest the core memory islands, and HQ itself.

"That... felt kind of weird..." Disgust said quietly to herself. Hype somehow heard this and responded, "Oh yeah, expect temporal displacement for about a minute, since none of you even teleported anywhere before."

"Now... Hype, let's hope you weren't kidding the whole time... do we know where Pleasure is?" Sympathy asked him.

We just stood there in anticipation. And then...

"Of course I do!!! Ok, so... where he's holding Shyness at the moment, it's in his hideaway in Imagination Land. There's a boarded off area that simply refuses to be demolished. That's where we want to go. However... we can't just show up in this, I mean, for fucks sake, Cupid is the only one that's even geared up! Does anyone know where we can even get some equipment to take Pleasure down once and for all!?" Hype answered.

Disgust & Sympathy came up short, mostly because, first off, Disgust had been in HQ exclusively! And Sympathy hadn't really cared to look at all for any place as such.

"I know a place! Same place I got my gear from! Pleasure is dumb enough to have it near his place too!" I piped up.

"Like... it's directly on the way to his hideout?" Sympathy asked. I nodded.

"Cupid... maybe violence isn't the answer for once?" Disgust tried to intervene.

"Look! That bastard has my companion! Not to mention, took serious advantage of you! Violence IS the answer today, followed by a piping hot plate of forgotten memories!" Hype responded back, despite that not being directed at him. And away we went!

1 hour later

"And here we are!" I said, right outside the place to gear up for battles. A lot of people in Imagination Land, I've noticed, have come by for some wrestling like matches here. They mostly just get the iron gloves or something. But this wasn't really important.

"Whaddup my man!?" I greeted the shopkeeper, having not seen him in about 2 years.

"Cupid! Always good to see you man! I see you got a couple companions with ya today! What can I do you for today!" The shopkeeper responded before Hype responded back with, "We're finally gonna take down Pleasure today! We need some equipment to do so! Got anything for us?"

"Are you crazy? Of COURSE I do! That sick fuck just keeps on causing trouble up here... who'd he take now?" He responded.

"First it was Disgust, an HQ emotion, and now Hype's companion, Shyness." Sympathy answered.

"HQ!? Was wondering where that green one was from!" He responded, making Disgust give him the death stare.

"Whoa! No offense to you!" He said upon seeing that, with Disgust just scoffing in response to that, the shopkeeper then followed that up with "Very well! All my gear is on the house today! Take what you need!"

And boy did we go crazy!

25 minutes later

There I was, with an upgraded bow/arrow, Disgust with the iron boxing gloves (to put it in short, it's just a boxing glove with spikes on it) & a flamethrower, Sympathy sporting something similar, and Hype, going all in, got himself a bulletproof vest, iron boxing gloves, flamethrower, a grenade, everything he could possibly think of. How on earth he was allowed to carry such explosive weapons, no one knew.

"Let's do this!" I said very confidently before the 4 of us went to Pleasure's little hideout just 5 blocks from the shop.

"Okay, it even looks like something that would come out of a superhero movie... really gotta hide your location better if you don't want us finding you." I wisecracked.

"Yeah, you think!?" Hype responded, before giving a hard knock at the door, akin to how a police officer would.

"There's no one home right now!" Pleasure responded.

"BULLSHIT! I KNOW you're holding Shyness in there! Hand her over or else!!" Hype screamed at Pleasure.

"Just beat it! There's no one here!" Pleasure tried again to get us to scram.

Nope!

"NO! Not until we get Shyness back from you!" I answered.

"I SA... CUPID!?" Pleasure responded. Pleasure & I somehow knew each other. I won't go into much detail on that here.

He stared out the peephole only to find us there. Then opened the door, and this set off the first blow.

"CUPID! You've a lot of nerve coming here after YOU sent me to subconscious!" He yelled at me, then noticed Disgust.

"And YOU, where the hell were you!? I WASN'T DONE WITH YOU YET!!!" Pleasure yelled to Disgust before she knocked him out cold by punching him as hard as she could.

"For the record, I faked your hypnosis spell effects!" Disgust said as he just laid there.

"And BTW, I sent him to subconscious for trying to kidnap Sympathy when her & I were together." I said back to Disgust, despite that not being directed at me specifically.

Shyness could be heard crying in the next room over, so Hype went to go retrieve her.

Should've been a simple escape, right?

Well, Pleasure regained consciousness right as we were headed out the door, then locked it, just like that. How? No one knew.

"Why are you going so soon? Stay! Have some fun! Relax!" Pleasure said.

"Just so we can fall victim in a 5-Way harassment case!? Yeah, FUCK NO!!!" I yelled at Pleasure, before pointing my arrow at him. "You fell in love with MY lovers behind my goddamn back, AFTER EVERYTHING I DID FOR YOU!!! Not to mention you ASSAULTED Sympathy for over 48 goddamn hours!!! You know I can take your love senses away JUST AS EASILY AS I DID GIVING YOU THEM SENSES!!!" I finished.

"Now now... assault is a pretty strong word..." Pleasure said, trying to look all innocent.

"REALLY!? Cause that's all you did to me! You promised me a way back to HQ once, then proceeded to assault me, I'm STILL not over that!" Disgust snapped back to him.

"That was an alternate version of me!" Pleasure tried to reply innocently.

"BULLSHIT!!!!" Disgust snapped, again.

"Not to mention you VIOLATED me!" Sympathy snapped back.

Poor old Pleasure could only sit there and watch, or so he thought.

"JUST SHUT UP!!! ALL OF YOU!!! Get on the goddamn couch or else!" Pleasure yelled.

"Oh, um... what couch!?" Disgust piped back up before setting the couch on fire with her flamethrower. This set off the first punch for the brawl, as whilst Pleasure was griefing over the couch being burned to a crisp, I shot at least 3 arrows at him, making his love senses be permanently taken away.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Pleasure responded. What ensued after this was a big-ass battle between the 5 of us, me letting Shyness borrow my bow/arrow as I resorted to physical combat to take him out!

30 minutes later

Pleasure was defenseless at this point, safe to say, we won completely!

"Please! This isn't how I wanted it to end!" A weakened Pleasure said.

"Well, unluckily for you, you don't get to decide your fate!" Hype yelled at Pleasure, before using his teleportation device to send him to the forgotten memories. But he wouldn't go without a fight.

"Wait! Give me another chance! I promise I'm not always like this!! PLEASE!" He pleaded once more.

"FUCK NO!!!" All 5 of us responded in unison. And off Pleasure went to the forgotten memories.

"Well... guess there's only one last thing to do... grenade please!" I said, having Hype hand me his grenades to essentially destroy the place once and for all!

We walked out the door, and as we were, I set off the grenades. Needless to say, the hideout was obliterated!

As much as we didn't want to... the 4 of us discarded our gear, except for me, my bow/arrow was handed back in one's peace. Then we all found a sitting area nearby, giving a view of HQ & long-term. And just relaxed.

30 minutes later

"So... what now?" Shyness asked me. Given the final battle was finally over, Sympathy, Disgust & I were set to head back to HQ within the next hour. However... an epiphany came over me.

"Well... I've been thinking... I already promised Sympathy she could be a new emotion in HQ... however, both you & Hype have been rogues for so long, and being so helpful in our quest... well... how would you & Hype like to be new emotions in HQ as well?" I said back to Shyness.

"FOR REAL!?" Hype asked excitedly.

"Yup!" I answered back.

"We'll be glad to!" Shyness responded. With Hype celebrating his newfound life as an official emotion. Shortly after this, we saw the daytime sky slowly rise up, meaning Riley has awaken for the day.

"Well... let's not just sit here... let's go." Sympathy responded. I thankfully knew an express way back to HQ from here. It was still open, which helped a ton.

"Very well! Let's go!" I said, with Disgust, Sympathy, Hype & Shyness following close behind.

10 minutes later, back in HQ

I took a hard landing back in the dead center of HQ.

Anger was the first to notice my return. "Hey hey hey! Welcome back! That wasn't as long as you said it was!" He responded.

"Yeah... it ended up being way shorter than I expected it to be..." I said back right before Disgust landed back in HQ. "And here's Disgust, as promised." I said, Fear soon took notice, then apologized to Disgust for the argument the previous day which led to this happening.

"Just don't mess with me like that again, kapeesh?" Disgust said very sassily to Fear.

Around this time, the eject hatch opened.

"Oh yeah... I bought a few people back here." I said.

Hype, Shyness & Sympathy came in, one after another. "Hey Joy! We got new emotions!" I said after seeing her for the first time that day.

"So this is HQ..." Sympathy said to herself. When Joy took notice, she very much more or less got excited, to no one's shock. Hype saw this behavior and already had something to say.

"Ya know.. you & I Joy... we're not much different from one another." He playfully teased at Joy.

"Okay Hype! Don't even go there! Anyway... let me give you 3 the tour of HQ real quick!" I said to them.

And afterward... well, only time could really tell, but long story short, each of them were given a warm welcome by the other emotions here. Their rooms were in place of Envy, Ennui, & Embarrassment's rooms, of course they'd have to rework the rooms, but it'll do for now.

Wow! The end, already? Guess there wasn't that much to cover!

Anyway. Yes, that's the end of this adventure. Shockingly didn't take as long as I anticipated it to.

And at the time of this chapter's publication, Inside Out 2 has officially started its release! Hope you guys enjoy the movie whenever you see it. AND PLEASE DON'T SPOIL IT FOR EVERYONE ELSE!!!
