The Grief of Ginny Weasley
AN: Hello. Hope you're all well. Here's a sad Hinny drabble because I was rewatching Deathly Hallows yesterday and that one scene where the Golden Trio find out about Fred and I saw Ginny standing there, in desperate need of a hug. (Queen Bonnie, you made me cry.) That scene is so sad.
Rip Fred.
Hope you enjoy and sorry for any mistakes.

The last year had been hectic for Harry. Destroying Voldemort, moving into Grimmuald Place and working for the ministry but the most difficult part was most certainly being Ginny Weasley's boyfriend.
Not because he hated it but because he was terrified.
After the war there was a grief period for the wizarding world. Including Harry, the Weasley's and Hermione.
He spent his time grieving at the burrow whilst helping out with preparations for a slew of funerals.
The Weasleys had lost Fred in the battle of Hogwarts and loss was something Harry was entirely familiar with. Fred's particular loss was something that hit him hard himself but when it was time to comfort his beautiful girlfriend, he was lost. She didn't cry like Mrs Weasley or break down like George.
No, her pain was scarier than that.
She would simply go outside and sit still for hours on end and stare into the distance in pure silence. Harry had been extremely worried about Ginny and had tried to convince her each and every time to go back inside but she would ignore him and stay sat in still silence.
He had tried to get Hermione to help her but not even his best friend could get through to her.
After a week of this frightening routine, Harry decided he would simply sit with her. He started bringing two jumpers so that neither of them would be cold, some water and snacks in case she was hungry.
He would sit right beside her and clutch her hand so she would know he was there for her.
The frightening routine would continue for another solid week before the first sign that Ginny was still Ginny would manifest itself in the form of a hand squeeze that let waves of relief wash through Harry Potter.
Ginny Weasley would eventually come out of her grief stupor over her older brother and would find herself more in love with Harry Potter than she could think possible.
