A soul floated in the void, without thought or emotion, just drifting. It kept moving, sensing the motion of travelling from one place to another. It observed the void, and the void seemed to watch back, patiently waiting.

A feeling was pushed into the soul, reawakening its consciousness. As it awoke, it remembered its life. 'Hmm? So I'm dead. Is this the afterlife, a floating void?'

With this new skill connected to Sensory-chan, external data began to flow. Leaving the inner world, the soul found itself surrounded by people. It noticed one person, realising it was now inside them. Confirming the voice's guidance, it turned off the skill and returned to introspection.

Reflecting on its memories, it remembered some details: it had been a "he," though it couldn't recall his name, and it knew about a few 'anime.' Considering it was now in the world of DXD, it hesitated to call them just anime. This realisation led to understanding the voice—the voice of the world overseeing everything, possibly the multiverse, known as Tensura.

With remaining MANA, the nameless not-yet-born soul created a skill to syphon energy from elsewhere. The announcement of the extra skill [Energy Syphon] called out, and the unborn decided to draw upon solar radiation to fill its [Energy Bank], converting the energy into MANA continuously.
