-Infirmary Office-

July 20th (Saturday)

9:00am

Takamoto leaned back on her chair as she stretched her body out with a big yawn. Cracking some bones in her body, she gave a flinch before retreating back to her form. She reached for her bottle and took a drink. Contacting the lid with her lips, gulping down a good amount of water. She parted the lid from her lips and took a look outside. Wiping the sweat from her brow.

"God I hate summer…" She thought to herself with an annoyed groan.

She looked up at the sky, not directly at the sun but seeing how it was rather bright.

"Amaterasuuu~...please turn down the sun." She whined. Takamoto got up from her chair and gave out another stretch. "Though, it is summer, so it is expected for the weather to get really hot…but man I really, really hate summer."

*Knock!* Knock!*

Takamoto blinked. "Yes?"

"Takamoto-sensei! It's us!" She hears a familiar enthusiastic voice coming from the other side of the door.

Takamoto cracked a smile as she shook her head. "Of course, come in."

*WHAM!*

The door swung wide open as Etsuko came in with a box balancing on top of her head. "WE'RE HERE~!"

"Hello Etsuko…" Takamoto casually said.

"Etsuko! Have you ever had common courtesy?" Yukina said with an annoyed tone as she walked in carrying some boxes. "You can't just barge inside like some immature child."

Etsuko looks at the taller girl with a pout. "I was just being friendly!"

"Yes, but you still barged inside! What if someone was in front of the door and you suddenly just ram straight into them?"

"She's right, despite being rather haughty about it," Megumi said as she walked inside. Followed by Matsuri and Tsubaki carrying some boxes as well. "But you can't just go around and bust open the door like that."

Etsuko only pouted even harder, her cheeks puffing up bigger. "Jeez! What are you!? My mom! Because if you are, then we need some serious talking of where you've been in my entire life!"

Yukina only groaned with narrowed eyes. "If I WAS your mother, then you would've got a whole lot of spanking from me."

"Just karate chop her head, she'll listen more if you do that." Tsubaki said.

"BOTH OF YOU!"

As the others were arguing with each other, Matsuri walks up to Takamoto. "Are these what you wanted, Takamoto-sensei?"

"Yes, thank you Matsuri. Sorry for having you all do some work, I know some of you guys must have better things to do."

Before he could answer, Etsuko immediately jumped on Matsuri's shoulders, causing him to lean forward with a startle. "YOU BET! WE'RE GOING TO DO ALL SORT OF FUN THINGS DURING THE SUMMER! LIKE GOING TO AMUSEMENT PARK! GOING TO THE BEACH! SO MANY ADVENTURES AWAIT US!"

Matsuri nervously chuckled at the girl. "Well, can't say we're going to do all those sorts of things, but some of them we will."

Takamoto made a soft smile at the boy before leaning her cheeks on the palm of her hand. "Oh~? Not gonna spend some quality time with Meiko?"

Matsuri cheeks flushed as he nervously looks the other way, ignoring the snickering from Etsuko. "I-I do have some plans with her. B-But I'm keeping those plans to myself."

"WHAT!? Come on! Share us the details! Are you and Meiko finally gonna have sweet glorious hot sex!"

Matsuri's face flushed fully red as he looked up at the girl on top of her shoulders. "T-THAT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!"

Etsuko made a smug smile. "I didn't hear a denial. So I was right."

Tsubaki lifted the girl from under her armpit and lifted her off Matsuri shoulders, putting her on her own. "Okay, that's enough teasing from you, missy."

"But hey, I am curious, how are things going between you and Meiko? You're treating her well, right?" Takamoto asked the most important question that everyone else had in mind.

"I do say, I am also curious about your relationship with Meiko as well." Yukina joined in.

"Same here." Megumi said.

"Guilty." Tsubaki simply said with a bit of a blush on her cheeks.

"Oh I see, if it's me I get scolded, but when it's you guys, sure it's alright." Etsuko said with an annoyed tone.

Matsuri felt like he was being pressured into this, but he wasn't the type to share his romantic life in public like that. He needed to consider Meiko's privacy as well. "We're doing good…well more than good. I'm still new to being in a relationship with someone else, but I'll try my best and make sure to keep her smiling. I want to continue making eventful memories for us both."

The other let Matsuri's word sink in. All of them have similar reactions to one another.

"Well, as long as you two are happy, then it's all good," Yukina said as she flicked her hair. "If you have any trouble, then do not fear asking me, Yukina Shido, for help."

Etsuko, Tsubaki and Megumi blinked as they turned to face Yukina with puzzled expressions. "Hold on, Ojou-san, have you been on a date before?"

"Of course I haven't."

"WHA!?"

Yukina closes one eye as she looks at Etsuko with a smug. "But I know everything about a woman's feelings. So it shouldn't be any different, no?"

"I mean, you're not wrong, but this is a relationship case. Not just a woman's feelings." Tsubaki said with a blank look.

Yukina took a moment to ponder on her words. Tilting her head from left to right before she opened her eyes and stared at Tsubaki. "Is there a difference?"

Tsubaki groaned. "Again, you're not wrong, but you're seriously missing the point."

"What point?" Yukina asked.

"Just drop it, Tsubaki. You're only going to make her more confused." Megumi advised her.

Yukina only got more irritated as she crossed her arms under her breasts. "I feel like I'm being mentally abused here, what am I missing?"

As they were speaking with each other, Takamoto took a moment to speak with Matsuri. "Quite the interesting batch you have with you."

"Yeah? I guess they are an interesting batch, but it does save my day from being too dull. I'll say that much."

Takamoto giggled a little. "Well, you have someone like Etsuko who was already lively enough. Then you have Tsubaki, Yukina and Megumi with ya. I think you fit in with them quite well. Being under the USC helped out."

Matsuri scratched his cheeks lightly, remembering how the USC were trying everything in their ability to throw Matsuri in prison along with the others. "Well, I wouldn't give them enough credit, but you could say they started to rub off of me the longer I stayed with them…especially Meiko."

Takamoto's smile only grew wider as she looked at the boy. "I'm glad you're doing good, Matsuri."

"Huh?"

Takamoto sat back against her chair. "I remember your first few days here at Hachimitsu, wasn't the best start for someone who is trying to change over a new leaf. I was worried when Mari introduced you into the USC, I know Mari has her hate against men and it only made me worried of what type of hijinks they would get you into…"

Takamoto opened her eyes as she looked at Matsuri who was staring at her with a curious tilt. She gazed at him for a while before releasing a smile. "But…it looks like I was wrong, there's nothing to worry about. You made some interesting friends, found yourself a girlfriend and survived death…yeah, I think you adapted well into the school."

Matsuri took a moment to let the words sink before releasing a smile. "Well…at first I thought I was alone and had no one to turn to…but in the end…I'm glad I met you all."

Takamoto offered a warm smile.

"Hey Matsuri!" The boy turns to see the group by the door. "We're gonna go! You coming or what!?"

"Oh right," He said after realizing something. "Anyways, see you around Taka-"

"Oh, wait a moment." Takamoto stopped him before he could leave, causing the boy to stop in his tracks. "I actually want to speak with you for a moment."

Matsuri blinked as he became curious on what Takamoto wanted to say to him. He turns to the group at the door. "I'll be right with you guys."

The group acknowledged as they walked out the room before closing the door. Leaving them the only one in the room.

"I-Is there something you need?"

Takamoto sat up straight in her chair, looking at the boy with a serious stare. "Matsuri…you do recall that I worked with the sleeping wolves, right?"

Matsuri blinked, unable to find any answer to the sudden question as he just nodded his head.

"I have to ask ya," Takamoto looked at the boy. "How well do you know Hayakki?"

Matsuri's eyes widened, his heart suddenly racing. Memories of the amount of torture that the teen have put him through at his old school. The laughing, the humiliation, the pain…so much pain he has suffered. He shook his head, shoving those memories away as he looked at the teacher.

"Well…on a personal level…not much. But the only things I recall were the bullying I received on my end."

"I figured as much…" Takamoto sighs to herself before speaking. "It's just that…the way you described her…that's not the Hayakki I know."

Matsuri blinked at that. "Hold on…you know Hayakki?"

Takamoto nodded. "When I was working for the sleeping wolves, every once in a while I would see his men as patients, coming in with injuries and all sorts of wounds. They were pretty much your ordinary thugs, complaining about their work life, Tatsuya ruled over them…but amongst them that I would receive a visit from the most…is Hayakki herself."

Matsuri didn't say anything as he listened.

"She was still young by the time I was there so she didn't go on many missions. Nor was she injured…well…except on a few occasions…but none of them were from missions…these were physical."

"Physical…as in…" Matsuri didn't want to finish the sentence.

"I don't want to make any conclusions, but I'll save that for another time. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is…that the Hayakki I knew once…was nothing like the one you described. The one I knew was a little more…fragile so to speak. She would usually come to me with her troubles, describing things to me and such. So I would usually be there to cheer her up. Making sure she's right at home and safe…of course…I'm not sure what happened to her to cause her to kill Yoshimiya or cause you so much torture…"

Matsuri took a moment to let this sink in before speaking. "I-If I were to be honest…I'm not really the type to bear a grudge against someone for so long…like I said, I don't know why Hayakki was bullying me…I always thought to myself because that's how she is or if it was something that I did to cause her to be like that. If anything…"

The boy stopped for a moment, pondering on what he was going to say before answering.

"I want to know…I want to at least know why she embarrassed Yoshimiya or wanted me to take those pictures…if I ever run into Hayakki again…I want to know why."

Takamoto narrowed her eyes. "I wish to know myself…but chances of running into her are like zero to none…or…you could always just go to the school and ask her yourself."

Matsuri flinched as he raised his hands in defense. "I-I think I'm good. I mean it doesn't HAVE to be now."

Takamoto chuckled. "You're right. That would be the wrong decision. But I'm glad to hear that answer from you. About Hayakki I mean. I just needed to know if you were holding a grudge against her or not."

Matsuri shook his head. "If anything…if I run into Hayakki again…I need to know…I want to know why."

Takamoto offered a smile before getting up. "Okay, I don't need to waste anymore of your time. Go right ahead and do your own things instead of listening to me mop about my past."

Matsuri smiled. "Um…I don't think I ever said this before but…thank you for looking after me, Takamoto-sensei."

Takamoto smiled as she rubbed Matsuri. "I am a teacher…it's our job to make sure that you kids are safe. Now run along."

Matsuri bowed his head before running after his friends.

Takamoto took a deep breath as she walked towards the window. Looking out into the field, seeing plenty of students either hanging out or going off somewhere for the day since it was a saturday. She looks out at the horizon with a deep thought.

"Junichi…Hayakki…I wonder how both of you are doing…"

-Downtown of Nemira-

Matsuri walked down the streets with his four friends. Tsubaki carried Etsuko on top of her shoulders as Etsuko was cheerfully blasting away a happy tune to herself. Megumi was listening to her own music choices with her headphones and Yukina, with her arms crossed under her bosom and her eyes closed. But they were twitching at the sound of Etsuko singing.

"I must say, Etsuko," Yukina said as she opened her eyes half way, showing how annoyed she is. "You sure do seem cherry as of late."

"Of course! The finals are done and summer vacation is about to start for us! I'm very excited for a break from school!"

Tsubaki groaned. "Those finals were a bitch to deal with…I never want to see another test paper ever again."

"Well, just be glad that the finals are over with and we get a much needed break." Yukina said as she flicked her hair past her shoulder. "So then, I suppose each of us have things planned for the summer, Matsuri, I assume you have a date plan with Meiko."

Matsuri looks over his shoulders with a groan. "Why is my love life so important to you guys?"

The four just look at him with equal blank looks. "Cause it's interesting."

"YOU GUYS LITERALLY DID NOT BOTHER HOLDING BACK!"

"Hey come on, Matsuri. You have to admit, you being able to capture the heart of the fierce amazon warrior herself is really a shocker. I mean, she would seem the type that would go for a boy with muscle." Etsuko thought to herself.

"And more brave." Tsubaki added.

"Assertive." Megumi.

"And most certainly-"

"I GET IT!" Matsuri interrupted the ninja girl from finishing.

Yukina pouted a little at the boy. "Hey, I didn't even finish."

"Trust me, I already know what you're gonna say. Can we please leave my relationship with Meiko alone."

Etsuko pouted as she crossed her arms across her chest and faced the other way. "Fine."

"Jokes aside," Megumi said as she lets down her headphones, letting them rest on her shoulders. "You plan on checking on Miyuki?"

"Yeah, I wanted to come in for a visit. And I wanted to check up on her as well. Just never got the chance to." Matsuri said.

"I wonder if Miyuki got any embarrassing photos of Yoshimiya when she was small. I want some new materials for my story."

"The hell you need pictures of her when she was a kid for…" Tsubaki asked.

"I was thinking of a 'what if' scenario. You know, like if Yoshimiya and Matsuri met Meiko and Mari when they were young or something like that…"

Yukina rolled her eyes. "Oh boy, once again another one of Etsuko's story. I don't think I can handle embarrassment from this girl. It's not good for my health and beauty."

Etsuko sent a glare towards Yukina and pouted. "Come on, it's not THAT bad! And besides, you should feel honored that you were in my story to begin with."

Yukina only glared at Etsuko only to lean towards Megumi. "Should I feel honored or should I feel insulted?"

"Just go with what your heart tells ya."

Matsuri chuckled to himself as he shook his head. Looking forward once more, he stopped, his eyes widened and his pupils grew small. His heart started to race against his chest. The girls behind him stopped as well as they looked forward to the scene.

It was a crime scene around Miyuki's apartment complex. All of the residents outside of the building were standing around, exchanging conversation between each other. Some of them were holding worried expressions while there were some parents calming their kids down. Surrounding the complex were at least 5 or 7 police cars.

Matsuri and the others all held worried expressions, while Matsuri on the other hand, was almost terrified.

"W-Why are there so many cops out here?" Etsuko asked with a shaky breath.

"Oh dear…" Yukina said as she held her hand near her mouth.

Matsuri and Megumi didn't waste any time as they dashed over to one of the residents to see what was the problem. They both ran up to a man who was speaking with probably one of his friends.

"E-Excuse me!" The man turned to Matsuri who was already out of breath. "D-Do you know what happened here?"

"Hm…oh yeah. There was a shootout going on at Miyuki's place."

Megumi lets out a small gasp. Meanwhile, Matsuri's heart nearly stopped. His eyes widened, his pupils shrunk as he stared at the man.

"W-What…"

"T-There was a shootout!? Are you sure it was Miyuki's…"

"Yeah. I didn't know, but it sounded like a big bomb going off. Or…like a machine gun or something. Sure did scare the shit out of me. But I'm positive it was Miyuki's place…"

As Megumi and the others were listening, Matsuri was lost in a trance. All the sound around him became muffled, all that could be heard was his breathing and his heart beating. Flashing images of Yoshimiya jumping off the building of Atushiko came to his thoughts. Hayakki mocking him for his failure as a friend.

But what truly broke him was an image of Miyuki's face. All bloodied and massacred. Both of her eyes were blacked out, bleeding and leaking against her face. Trailing down as they dripped onto the floor. Her mouth cracked wide open with her jaws hanging, slowly swinging from side to side.

Matsuri bolted from the group and headed towards the stairs.

"MATSURI! MATSURI COME BACK!" Etsuko yelled.

He ignored his friends' calls as well as the police, telling him not to go into the building. But he ignored them all. The only thing that was going through his mind was Miyuki. Thinking of her smiling face, her caring voice, anything to set aside the negative thought in his head.

"Please be alright! Please let this be a nightmare! This can't be happening!"

He dashed up the stairs, finally making it to the floor. Wishing for the best, it only got worse when he found shattered glasses on the ground next to the window. Yellow tape stretched across the door frames.

His breathing became more uneven. "N-No…no…"

He slowly walked over to the door. The beating of his heart got faster and faster. Fearing for the worst of what has happened to Miyuki. He prayed hard that he would wake up from the horrid nightmare. But as he walked up to the door, his breath escaped him.

Inside the room, everything was a wreck. The walls were covered with bullet holes. Shattered glasses from the picture frame were scattered on the floor along with the picture itself. The boy slumped under the tape and slowly walked inside. His breathing was more uneven than it was before. Making it impossible for him to breathe.

Everywhere around the room was completely wrecked and ruined. Bullet holes everywhere against the walls. The furniture was torn up, the table broken in half, the tv screen smashed, the whole apartment was in a complete mess.

Matsuri started to hyperventilate. "M-M-M…."

"Where is she?"

His eyes shook as he looked around. Just standing there, hoping Miyuki would come out.

"Please come out…."

Once again images of Yoshimiya's death came to his thoughts again.

"Not again…not-"

He was snapped back into reality when his nose came into contact with something hard. Causing it to bleed. His body balance fell off but his upper body torso was supported by Megumi who was roughly grabbing him by the collar, glaring at him.

"M-M-"

"GET A GRIP WILL YA!" Megumi yelled at him causing Matsuri to flinch under her tone of voice.

"Megumi, you didn't need to go too hard on him." Yukina said as she wandered inside. Making careful steps of the glass. "Goodness what a mess the culprit left behind."

Following Yukina was Etsuko and Tsubaki. Both of them looked at the room with the same expression, wearing worried looks.

"Damn…they did THIS?" Tsubaki said as she rubbed the back of her head with a troubled look.

"This is awful…"

Matsuri blinked as he tried to come to his senses looking at Megumi. "W-What do you mean…"

"I was speaking with the cops and some of the residents, idiot. Miyuki wasn't home."

"...w-what?" Matsuri sounded out, his heart rate slowly pacing itself. Finding himself to stand up which led to Megumi to loosen her grip. "What do you mean?"

Megumi sighs to herself before continuing. "According to the residents, Miyuki wasn't home before the gun fire. The cops confirmed this as well, they were investigating the place and found no traces of blood."

Matsuri blinked. "So then…"

"But wouldn't they have cleaned up the place before the cops arrived?" Etsuko said.

"Impossible." Yukina voiced out, flicking her hair over her shoulders. "The perpetrator wouldn't have enough time. Considering how small this apartment is, they would need to work really fast if that was the case. Also…"

Yukina eyes scanned the room. From the walls, the couch, the TV, almost all the furniture and others were completely in shambles. "Judging from the state of the room, I can probably deduce what went down during the whole scenario."

The four looked at the ninja girl. "You can?"

"Well, this is more of a hypothesis/theory but here is what I can guess. Our criminal was at the front door first, obviously. Knocking on the door, possibly waiting for an answer from Miyuki so they can get the jump on them. But they received none and anxiously waited for a response, the criminal may have been a loose cannon and decided to shoot the front door, explaining the door being shattered in pieces and all. Then realizing that he didn't hear a scream or what not, the criminal busted through the door and tried to find Miyuki. They believed that she was hiding somewhere inside so they searched the place, tearing everything up in the process probably due to frustration of not finding their target. However, realizing that they had been spotted, they jumped out the window in a hurry and bolted from the scene."

No words were spoken between either of them. Matsuri, Etsuko, Tsubaki and Megumi looked at the teen with similar expressions. Their mouths hung wide open, all of them giving Yukina a narrowed look, wondering how she came to such a conclusion with just a quick glance.

"THAT'S your theory?" Tsubaki asked.

"Well, of course it's just a theory, take or leave it as it is." Yukina said as she waved her hand nonchalantly. "But yes, that is the best that I can say."

"Cool~!" Etsuko said with sparkles in her eyes. "Are you like a detective or something!?"

Yukina couldn't help but smug at her compliment. Crossing her hands under her bosom. "Hmm. Hmmm~. I appreciate the compliment my dear friend."

"Alright, that's enough praising her for one day." Tsubaki said with a blank look. "Anyways, so we can deduce that Miyuki is safe, right?"

"At least that's what we can do…" Megumi sighs to herself as she runs her hand through her hair. "But I hope she's alright…"

Matsuri walked over to the couch as he calmed down his heart. "I…I just hope she's safe…p-please be safe…"

Etsuko and the girls held sympathetic looks on their faces as they looked at the boy. Etsuko walked up to the boy as she sat right next to him with a small smile. Setting her hand on his shoulders.

"It's okay, Matsuri. Maybe Miyuki is safe."

"B-But where though!? I want to believe that she's safe but-"

Megumi patted him on the back. "Calm down. We still don't have enough info on what's going on. Look at it this way, Miyuki could be still alive, we can't just jump to conclusions and assume she's dead."

"B-But-OW!" Matsuri flinched as Megumi flicked his nose.

"I. Said. Calm. Down." Megumi said with annoyed glare. "Listen, if the neighbor says that Miyuki was not in the house, then let's just go ahead and go with that. We can't just jump to conclusions without any further details or confirmations. Now I want you to take a breather and simmer down."

Matsuri did just that as he took a deep breath to calm his breathing. "Megumi's right, I can't confirm if she's dead or not…but…I can't shake this feeling that something bad is going to happen."

He felt a gentle touch on his back. He looked towards Etsuko who held a soft smile. "It's gonna be okay Matsuri. I'm sure Miyuki just went out somewhere. Maybe she's with your family or something."

"Hey that's right! Go ahead and check with them."

Matsuri nodded his head. Reaching for his phone he quickly taps away at his phone screen trying to call his parents. As he was doing so, Megumi took the opportunity and went outside the balcony. With the glass window shattered, she just decided to walk through the door and walk outside the balcony. She rested her arms on the edge, leaning forward with a thought. Even though she told Matsuri to calm down, she couldn't help but to wander herself…where is Miyuki?

"Where is she?"

As Megumi was thinking to herself, her eyes caught a glimpse of a lone figure across the street from the apartment complex. The figure had his hood over his head, covering his face as he went back into the alleyway, slipping into the shadows. Megumi held a narrowed look as she looked forward.

"You mean she's not there."

She hears Matsuri's panicked voice, taking a look back at the alleyway where the figure was standing and left without taking another glance at the alleyway before walking back inside.

"W-Well…it's Miyuki. We went to visit her and…there was a shootout."

There was a long pause on the other end. A small gasp could be heard from her end.

"Y-Yeah! W-We were on our way to visit her but…s-she was…" Matsuri was having trouble breathing again. Worried for his life.

Megumi rolled her eyes as she grabbed the phone and spoke to her. "Hey, this is Megumi. Listen, there was a shootout at Miyuki's residence, inside her apartment."

[Are you serious!? You sure!?]

"Yeah. But according to the police and the neighbor, Miyuki wasn't here during the shootout. So all we could say is that she may be around…we just don't know WHERE she is."

[O-Okay…I-I'm sure the police will handle it. I'll tell your Kenchiro about this. And please, be safe on your way back.]

"Yeah, see you around." Megumi said as she hung up the phone. Giving it back to Matsuri who took it with his shaky hands. "Listen, we'll just leave this to the police. For now, let's hurry back to school."

The girls and Matsuri look at the redhead with an odd look.

"B-But what about Miyuki…" Etsuko said with a worried expression.

"We'll worry about her later. But for now, let's go back." Megumi said with a serious tone as she narrowed her eyes at the group.

Matsuri looked back at her eyes, noticing that she was serious or something came up. He bit his lip and nodded. Standing up from the couch he looks towards his friends.

"Let's go."

"O-Okay…"

The group left the apartment, with Megumi looking back once more inside the apartment, narrowing her glare before catching up with the group.

-Downtown of Nemira-

Matsuri and the others walked quietly towards the train station. None of them were exchanging any words for the last few blocks. Moments ago, they were at Miyuki's apartment complex, then later they were heading to the train station to head back to the academy. At least under Megumi's order…

Tsubaki and Etsuko were wondering why Megumi wanted them to go back to the school. The delinquent teen rolled her eyes as she finally decided to break the silence…

"Okay, I'll bite. How come we're going back and not performing some investigation of our own?"

"Yeah! I'm with Tsubaki on this! How come-!"

Megumi snapped her head towards the small girl who was riding on Tsubaki's shoulders. Sending her a glare before bringing a finger to her lips. Gesturing her to be quiet. Causing her to raise an eyebrow.

Megumi gestured her head over her shoulders. Unsure of what she meant, she looked behind them. While she was distracted by some people they were passing by, behind them, walking with a hood over his head, covering his eyes. The malicious grin on his teeth caused the small girl to be unnerved.

Etsuko turned and leaned in her friend's ear. "Who the hell is that creep?"

Tsubaki growled slowly before looking at Megumi. "How long did you know?"

"When we were back at the apartment, I saw him across the street, call it a hunch but I think he has something to do with Miyuki."

"What makes you so certain?" Matsuri asked.

"Just a hunch."

Yukina makes a quick glance behind them before looking at her friends. "Well, you don't expect us to lead this wretched scoundrel back to the school, right? That would mean trouble."

"I would like to find a place so we can settle this…but I don't know a place where we can stop…"

Matsuri and the others pondered for a moment. The boy in particular took a look around the place they were at, noting the familiar street they were walking through. "Wait…I know this street…"

"Matsuri?" Megumi asked.

"Follow me." Matsuri said as he sped up ahead of them.

The girls ended up following him as he squeezed down an alleyway. Matsuri and the others slithered down the narrow way as fast as they could, hugging against the wall. For Yukina and Tsubaki it was a bit uncomfortable due to their bust size. Squeezing out of the alleway, Matsuri took a moment to find his surroundings before making a mad dash to the left. The others follow suit with the hooded figure following their trail.

Matsuri made several turns from left to right until they reached the end of the road. In front of them, was an old looking empty warehouse. Matsuri took a moment as he looked at it with familiarity in his eyes. It didn't last long as his friends reached him.

"A warehouse…" Tsubaki asked out of breath.

Megumi looked at the warehouse with narrowed eyes before looking towards Matsuri. "Is this…"

"...come on." Matsuri simply said as he rushed ahead of them.

The girls exchanged glances before following their male friend inside the warehouse. Behind them, the hooded figure makes it towards the end. His body hunched over as he was nearly out of breath from chasing them.

"Geez, I'm out of shape…" He said between panted breaths.

He looks up to see the old abandoned looking warehouse in front of him. He noted the windowless frames all over. Moss growing on the sides and top of the building. Old rusted metal that looked like it would give way with just one touch.

The man removed his hood, a vicious smile crossed his face. "These idiots, they're just making it too easy for me…"

From the bag on his back, he brought out an AR 57 submachine gun. The vicious smile on his face is not fading as he looks forward. Already imagining the death that Matsuri and his friends would experience when he's through with them.

"Look out, runts. Here comes Jack."

-Inside the Warehouse-

Sliding the door open, revealing inside the rundown place. The air clogged with dust, small weeds of grass growing inside the place. Old furniture was placed around the area from a torn up couch, a rug, mattress on the side against the wall. On the other side of the building was a wide open window frame to see out from the otherside.

Walking slowly inside, his eyes scanned the area. In hopes of finding his targets. Slowly making his way inside with each careful step. His eerie smile not leaving his lips.

"Oh little piiiiigs~. Come out, come out, wherever you arrrrre~." Jack sang. Turning his body around with his gun still pointed. "I know that you're in heeeeeere~. No adult supervision. No one can hear you scream, kekekeke~. Why don't you come on out and play with oooold Jacky~."

He continued to taunt as he swift his body around with a very fast motion. Whipping from side to side with a small laugh here and there. Image of the students being shot dead in his head.

"Hey now, no need to be scared. I just want to talk with you…yeah…I want to talk with you." The last bit in his sentence was ominous. His hand shook with excitement. His finger nearing the trigger. "I'm gonna…ooooh~. I'm gonna do many things with all of you."

Stepping closer to the middle of the room, his back was turned, rapidly pointing his gun from side to side.

"I'm gonna shoot that boy dead…yeah. That's what I'm gonna do. I-I'm gonna shoot him in the heart, w-with this gun! Y-Yeah! Yeah! That's what I'm gonna do! And when I'm done with the boy…ooooh~. You girls…you girls are gonna be so lucky when I-"

*POOF!*

Jack jumped with a yelp as he was suddenly surrounded by a large abundance of smoke clouds. His body zipped from side to side, his eyes wide as his pupils shrunk. He hears fast moving footsteps to his left.

*RATATATATATATATA!*

He shot in one direction!

*Swoosh!*

Another wind to his right!

*RATATATATATATA!*

It wasn't long before he heard more noises around him. Circling around him in the clouds of smoke.

"DON'T FUCK WITH ME!" He yelled.

He let loose. He shot all around him, hoping to see a dead body come flailing out of the smoke cloud. He screamed, letting loose of the gunfire. Hitting many of the furniture and other objects around the building aside from the intruder who was toying with him. His screams and gunfire filled the entire warehouse…until.

*Chck!*

He stopped screaming. His finger let go of the trigger before letting out another sound, but no bullets. His eyes wide, his pupil shrunk as he took notice of his gun.

"AW FUCK! I'M OUT OF AMMO!"

"Damn straight."

"Huh?" Jack turned around to the voice.

All that he saw was an angry looking Tsubaki, charging at him at full speed. She stopped, placing one foot on the ground before spinning her waist, her leg extended and making contact with Jack's cheeks.

*WHAM!*

Jack's head weighed to the side, soon his body followed suit, slammed against the hard concrete floor!

Everything went black.

"...h…."

Voices could be heard in the pitch of darkness.

"...up…."

Jack could hear someone. Speaking to him.

"I….WAKE…."

*CLANG!*

"OW!" Jack screamed in pain as he looked up, with his vision a little blurry, he only saw what looked to be five figures in front of him. He shook his head as he narrowed his eyes, his focus becoming more clear.

In front of him were Matsuri and his friends. With Yukina and Megumi to his right and Tsubaki and Etsuko to his left. All of them glaring at the man with angry expressions. Tsubaki in particular who held a vicious scowl. Etsuko glaring with her puffed cheeks, attempting to look mean. Yukina and Megumi give the guy equal glares.

Jack's eyes looked from his right to left at the five. "H-Hey, the hell is this? Some sort of school pro-"

He stopped talking as he tried to move. But found both his hands and legs tied up. His hands tied together towards the railing on the chair. With his legs being tied to each of the legs. Making him spread his legs open.

"H-Hey! T-The hell!? You brats tied me up!?"

"Shut up." Etsuko said as she proceeds to slap him across the face.

*Smack!*

"OW! HEY! WATCH IT PIPSQUEAK!"

"I said shuuut up!"

*Smack!*

"OW! STOP SLAPPING ME YOU DWARF!"

Etsuko's cheeks puffed bigger as her eyes narrowed, glaring at Jack. Ready to go for another slap, Tsubaki stops her by grabbing her wrist.

"Alright, settle down. We're not gonna get anywhere if you keep slapping him like this."

"HE CALLED ME A DWARF!"

"Well," Yukina spoke up with a 'matter of fact' expression. "You are."

Etsuko only made a small dolphin sound as she pouted and looked the other way. Matsuri paid more attention to the man in front of them, who was currently tied up to the chair.

"I want answers, why the hell were you following us?" Matsuri asked in a desperate voice to hear his answers. "D-Did you have anything to do with Miyuki's apartment."

"Tch! Like I'll speak to a bunch of brats like you. I was only doing my job." Jack said as he faced the other way, not paying mind to them.

"Your job?" Megumi repeated as she narrowed her eyes. "So you did have something to do with her apartment."

"I ain't speaking."

*Smack!*

"OW! WHY!?" Jack bellowed.

Etsuko stared at the man with a glare equal to that of a pout, not really making herself look intimidating. "Look here, you son of bitch! Miyuki's is a special friend of ours and means a lot to Matsuri! NOW SPEAK UP!"

Jack flinched back at the tone of voice from the small girl. He only then rolled his eyes. "Sorry but my lips are sealed. I ain't singing and that's final. Better luck trying to get me to speak out~! Kekekeke~!"

Tsubaki cracked her knuckles, her eyes scowling at the man in front of them. About to give ready to lay a beating on him. Only to be stopped by an outstretched hand. Blinking for a moment, he looks to the side of her, Yukina giving her the side glance with a rather ominous smile.

"Now, now, Tsubaki dear. Let me handle this ghastly beast." Yukina said, putting emphasis on the word 'me'.

Though she could not explain, she could feel an intent kill coming from the girl. She decided to back up and let her handle Jack, though she was a little unsure of how she was going to handle him.

Yukina moved closer to the man, as he looked up at the ninja girl with raised brow. However, around the ninja girl's body was a rather murderous aura. She looked down at the man, bending down as she planted her hands on her knees.

"Now then, good sir," Yukina said, sounding polite but behind that tone was something more murderous. "You are going to explain to us, what happened to Miyuki? And what job are you talking about? If you answers those questions, then I won't have to torture you…"

The four friends flinched under her tone, they proceeded to back clear away from her. Afraid of what she might do. Even Jack was a little frightened by the girl's words. Gritting his teeth, he tried his best to show no fear towards the rich ninja girl.

"T-Tough luck missy! I-I ain't singing nor nothing! S-So i-if you think you're gonna g-get a word o-out of me!? F-Forget about it! T-That's right!" Jack stuttered through his words, sweating profoundly as Yukina's expression did not falter nor change at all. But all he felt was a murderous intent from her. "Y-You can't m-make me speak! I-I won't! I-I-I seriously will not!"

Yukina simply sighs to herself. "Look, it doesn't have to be this way. You could simply just speak and I won't have to do something you'll regret. You wouldn't want THAT now would you?"

Jack only sweated even more under stare. "I-I ain't speaking little miss! I-I-I told you that already!"

"He's a goner." Tsubaki said.

"Nice knowing him." Matsuri, Megumi and Etsuko said at the same time.

Yukina only blinked at the sweaty man who was trying his best to hold his ground. But it only worked so slightly. The rich girl sighs to herself. "It's truly a shame really. I mean, you could've gave us viable information about Miyuki or what this job of yours was…but alas, it seems you refuse to speak. Oh well then, you've made your choice."

"Huh? What are you-"

*WHAM!*

It was so sudden. It was so quick. He didn't have the time to think or say anything as his chest was kicked hard. Causing him to spit out some blood. His body was hunched over. Heaving and hacking as he was gasping for air.

"T-The fuck…is wrong with you…YOU-GRK!" He was forced to stop when Yukina pushed his cheeks in.

"Are you willing to talk now?" Yukina said with a glare, her polite tone is now gone. Replaced with a voice that feels almost as if her patient is running thin.

"B-Bite my ass miss! I-I ain't sp-GAAAAH!" Yukina kicked him in the family jewels.

"If you were smart enough, you could tell us right now what you were doing over at Miyuki's place. If you refuse to tell us anything…your punishment will only get worse, you piece of shit."

Jack coughed out some blood. His eyes drift behind her as he sees the others pleading him to speak, warning him of the potential danger that will soon come for him if he doesn't speak. But he chose not to heed their warnings as he continues to test his fate.

"Bite me bitch!"

Matsuri and the others face palms. "He's done for."

*Crunch!*

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Jack screamed in agony.

Yukina hand crunched Jack's family jewels. Tightening her grip on them as she slowly begins to twist them in her leisure. Not paying mind to his screaming. Her eyes only showed emptiness and no mercy as she continued to crush his jewels under her grasps.

"STOP IT! STOPITSTOPITSTOPITSTOPITSTOPITSTOPITSTOPITSTOPITSTOPITSTOPITSTOPIT! OKAY I GET IT! I'LL CONFESS! I'LLCONFESSITALLLLLLLL!"

Yukina softened her grip on his jewel as he took a moment to breathe. Matsuri winced in pain, couldn't help but to feel sorry for the guy getting his family jewels crushed by Yukina. Tsubaki was covering Etsuko's eyes and Megumi glanced the other way as she sucked air through her teeths.

"Holy shit, holy shit, oooooh shitshitshitshithshitshitshithshit! Okay…here's the load…I-I was sent on a mission to kill Miyuki Kakeguri, I was sent by Tatsuya Nekumi."

The name that all of them are familiar with.

"Tatsuya…as in the immortal wolf?"

Jack flinched. "H-How do you guys know about him!? He was so well hidden!"

"That's not important. Keep talking. NOW."

"Eeep! Okay! I was sent on a mission to kill Miyuki. She knows about Y-Yoshimiya's death and Tatsuya wants her out of the picture! So I went over to her place and attempted to kill her."

They all caught on to his word of choice.

"Attempted," Tsubaki asked. "As in…you didn't kill her?"

"NO! She wasn't there by the time I shot through her door! But I didn't hear any screams of agony so I decided to go inside and check it out! Turns out the bitch was gone! She was nowhere in sight! I WASTED MY TIME ONLY TO FIND THAT-GAK!"

Yukina crushed his family jewels in her grasps harder. "Oh hush you."

"So then…Miyuki is still alive!" Etsuko said with a smile.

"There's a chance. But the most worrying bit is out of the way at least." Megumi said with a sigh of relief.

Matsuri cracked a genuine smile, satisfied that Miyuki was safe…at least he hoped that would be the case. He shook his head as he looked back at his friends. "Well, that's one thing, but we still don't know where she is though."

Yukina nodded as she looked back at the fiend. "Now I have another question…"

"A-ANOTHER ONE!?"

*Crunch!*

"Yes."

"OKAYOKAYOKAYOKAY! I'LL SPEAK!"

"Is there anyone else on Tatsuya's hit list?"

"Y-Yes! He was planning on killing all the students and teachers of Hachimitsu!"

Almost immediately everyone felt their heart stopped. Blood running cold. All of them were wearing the same expressions as the next person. Tatsuya!? Planning to kill all the students of Hachimitsu!?

"H-Hold on!? All the students and teachers of Hachimitsu!? Are you serious!?" Tsubaki said with an alarmed tone.

"That's not right!? That can't be right at all!"

"That bastard…" Megumi snarled under her breath.

Matsuri began to hold his arm for security. Trembling as he could imagine all the students and teachers he became friends with at the school. Everyone is dead!? Murdered in cold blood!? All so that Tatsuya could keep anyone who knew about Yoshimiya's death quiet!?

"N-No…"

"T-That's not all! Once he's done with Hachimitsu! He plans on taking over the entirety of Nemira! And soon Japan! I swear!" Jack blurts out.

Etsuko started to become worried, thinking of a world that is grasped upon Tatsuya…is something she didn't want. Nor wanted to live in. "I don't like it…"

"Me neither." Tsubaki growled as she clenched her fist. "Like hell I'm gonna let some yakuza bastard kill me or control my life! He has another thing coming if he thinks he can get away doing whatever the hell he pleases."

Matsuri controlled his breathing, narrowing his eye into a glare. "Yeah…he won't get away with this…"

"K-Kekeke-GAK!" Jack's laugh was interrupted when he felt his jewels being crushed again.

"My word, whatever are you laughing for?" Yukina asked.

"You brats think you can take on Tatsuya…well tough luck with that. Tatsuya got himself something powerful that would help him out in his ultimate conquest for power! He's practically invincible now! No one can s-stop him…not even you brats." He said with an almost frightened tone.

"What do you mean?" Matsuri asked, feeling a little frightened.

"I'm saying your fate is already sealed…there's no saving you brats or anyone now…we'll all be dead soon." He said almost sounding as if he had already given up. His body hunched over before releasing a small laugh. "Kekekeke~! It will all be over soon! None of you are prepared for what is about to come! YOUR ONLY DELAYING THE INEVITABLE!"

Yukina punched him square in the face. Hard enough that he fell on the back of his chair with the trail of blood leaking from his nose. Yukina adored a rather annoyed expression on her face. "Go to sleep you filthy beast."

"So what do we do now?" Etsuko asked.

"Isn't it obvious, we found Tatsuya and beat him up and his daughter!" Tsubaki said as she cracked her knuckles.

"No." Megumi said. "First thing, first. We tell Usano what we know about this situation. Since Tatsuya wants to kill everyone of Hachimitsu, it's best if we warn them first so we can be prepared for what's about to come."

"Yeah, good thinking! Let's head back to Hachimitsu fast-"

*BANG!*

They immediately froze at the sound of gunfire.

"I believe you will do no such things."

They all turned to what belonged to a young teenager. Standing at the front door, two figures were standing by. One with glasses and long black-hair with red streaks on the underside of her bangs. She wore a familiar Atsuhiko uniform. Pointing a gun at them with a glare.

The other one, wore a similar uniform, but with her top slightly unbuttoned and showing off a bit of her cleavage. Long blonde-hair that reached her backside. Wearing fingerless gloves and brass knuckles on her fingers. Staring at them with a smile.

"Heya, Ladybug~! It's been a while~!" The blonde girl said.

Megumi growled under her breath. "Izumi…and Homura."

Matsuri and the others did a double take as they looked between the girls and Megumi. "H-Hold on! These two! These are Izumi and Homura!?"

"H-Hayakki's…n-new friends…" Matsuri breathed.

"Yeah." Megumi snarled as she gritted her teeth.

"I-If they're here…then that means-" Matsuri didn't finish when he heard another person's voice.

"My, oh my, oh my~! We're running into a lot of familiar faces today, are we~!"

Matsuri's body froze at the sound of the voice. Haunted memories from his past resurfaced, the mocking, the laughing, the humiliation, the tortures. Everything resurfaced once more in his head. Footsteps echoed around the room, each step matching the beating of his heart. He turns around to find a familiar pink haired-girl who makes her grand entrance.

Her hands planted on her hips as she shifted her weight to her left. Her eyes looked dead at Matsuri with a knowing grin, showing her canine teeth to the boy. Matsuri shook under her gaze as she smiled at the boy. Knowing too well how he still fears her.

"H-H-Hayakki…" Matsuri whimpered.

"Hmmm~. Long time no see, Matsuri Hitoyoshi~." She allowed the name to roll off the top of her tongue with a small vicious smile.

-Highway of Nemira-

Driving on the highway, alongside the coastline. Usano was driving in his ford mustang car. Speeding through the windows down, his one arm out and the other on the wheels. He let the wind splashed his face, enjoying the rather nice breeze.

"I must say, it was rather odd running into such a beautiful young ass-I mean, beautiful lady like you on the streets. But what is the occasion if I may…ask!" He asked in his usual speech pattern.

On the passenger side of the seat, Scarlet was fidgeting in her seat feeling rather anxious. "O-Oh. Um…well, I was out on a small trip, but then well…i-it's rather embarrassing."

"Ah. Then no need to share your story then. I will be glad to take you to your destination. It is the least I can…do!" He said once more.

Scarlet bit her lips as she allowed her hat to cover part of her face. Her eyes wandered towards the rearview mirror. She sees a black car following behind them, while not too close, her eyes say that she knew about it.

"U-Um…mind if I ask you a question?" She asked to which Usano nodded. "I heard you were talking on the phone a few minutes ago. I never asked, but who were you talking to…"

"Ah. My daughters."

Scarlet eyes let up as she looks at him. "You're daughters?"

"Yes. With summer around the corner, I figured it would be nice for us to spend time with each other as a…family. With everything that had happened, I never had the moment to spend some quality time with my two girls."

He reminiscences for a moment.

"I have two daughters. My youngest one, Chiyo. Ah, quite the sociable one. Has many friends, open-minded. While naive, her strong trait has always been her kindness. Then there's Mari, to be entirely honest, she is the most spoiled one of the bunch. She always comes to me whenever there is a problem…"

"...sounds like a handful."

"Regretfully yes…but…" He said with a softer tone. "I believe she has started to change for the better. There is this boy who enrolled in our school, he's the son of an old friend of mine. Terrible things have happened to the boy during his time at his old school. He has enrolled in Hachimitsu, hoping for a better life…a new start. But…he had butt heads with Mari on some occasions, but has never grown to hate her. A rocky start, but ever since Mari met him, she has become kinder, softer and more open to boys. Matsuri Hitoyoshi is truly a kind boy and has brought many changes to the school for the better."

Scarlet didn't say anything. But felt her heart was almost about to break down within her chest. She gripped her arm, pinching at her skin, trying to control the trembling of her lips.

She flinched when the phone in her pocket vibrated.

"Is something…wrong?"

"N-No! Just getting a text from someone." She waved off as she looked at the text.

Tatsuya: [What are you doing? You missed your turn.]

Scarlet bit her lips, feeling dread dripping against her skin.

Scarlet: [I'm sorry! I got distracted!]

Tatsuya: [Do your job right. Or do you not wish to see your darling husband again?]

"NO LEAVE HIM AL-" She stopped as she covered her mouth. She turns to see Usano giving her a questionable stare. "A-Ah, sorry! My husband is um…well…trying to give our cat a bath. I-I told him multiple times that he doesn't like baths!"

"Ah. I see." Usano smiled as he faced the road again.

Scarlet: [I'll do my job properly. Please don't kill him.]

Tatsuya: [Then stop lollygagging and get your head in the game! NOW!]

Scarlet sighs to herself as she looks back at Usano, focusing on the road. Her heart broke for him for what is about to come…

"I'm sorry…I don't expect you to forgive me…for what is about to come…"

[Omake: Staring Contest]

In the cafeteria, sitting on the table. Chiyo and Etsuko were staring at each other for quite some time now. Sitting beside Chiyo was Mayumi, Anzu and Satou. Meanwhile Etsuko was Tsubaki, Yukina, Megumi and Matsuri.

Chiyo was finding it rather hard to keep her eyes open any longer than she anticipated as her eyelids started to give way.

"Come on Chiyo! You got this!" Mayumi cheered for her friend from the side.

"Don't lose, Chiyo-chan!" Satou cheered with an enthusiastic voice.

"Ngh…t-this is really tough. H-How is Etsuko-chan able to keep her eyes open for this long!?" Chiyo asked the most important question.

Etsuko on her end, was not budging nor making a blink what-so-ever. She kept her gaze on the girl who was struggling to keep her eyes open. With a rather uncharacteristically stare. Tsubaki and the others looked back at the small girl who had not moved an inch for a while.

Tsubaki leaned near Yukina ear. "I'm surprised how dedicated she is to this. I've never seen her stare like that for so long."

"Well, with the amount of energy that girl has, I wouldn't be surprised." Yukina said.

"My question is how long she can keep this up?" Megumi asked.

It wasn't long before Kiyoshi and the boys came to the table, noticing the commotion.

"What's going on over here?" Kiyoshi asked.

"Etsuko and Chiyo are having a staring contest." Matsuri answered the boy as he watched the scene between the two female students, with Chiyo struggling.

The boys, with baffled expressions, look back at the scene, their eyes shifting between the two students.

"Indeed? Why are they partaking in this game?" Gakuto asked.

"Whoever loses will have to do an embarrassing dance in front of the school." Anzu said.

"Huh!?"

The boy's eyes were glued to the intense non-violent fight between the two students. Kiyoshi took notice of Chiyo's eyes somewhat giving way as they were wide open, starting to sweat on the spot where she sat.

"Looks like Chiyo is gonna be the loser." Shingo jokes.

"We get to see Chiyo do a cute dance in front of the school." Joe said with a cough.

"Hey! I put 5 yen on Etsuko!" Shingo said.

Gakuto snapped his head to the boy with an almost insulted look. "Shingo-dono!? How could you!? Especially with Chiyo-dono ears in range."

"Yeah man, if you gonna bet *cough* you gotta put your money where your mouth is. I bet 500 yen on Etsuko."

"NOT YOU TOO!?" Gakuto wore a shocked expression.

"1000 yen on Etsuko." Andre betted as well.

Kiyoshi growled under his breath. The mere thought of these guys betting against Chiyo was insulting enough. He couldn't stand by and let this be. "I bet 5000 yen on Chiyo!"

"Kiyoshi-dono!? You as well!"

Soon they started gathering around, watching the scene that was unfolding before them. Chiyo was sweating profusely, her eyes twitching about to close on her. She struggled to keep them open but was finding it hard to even keep them wide open. Etsuko however, was having no issue at all, as she just sat there with a blank look, staring back at Chiyo who was whimpering at the very moment.

By this point, almost all the students, even the teachers were watching the scene. In addition, Usano himself was watching as he was cheering from the side for his daughter.

"Since when did this become a pack house…" Tsubaki asked.

"Guess everyone's here to see the show." Matsuri said with a nervous chuckle.

"What's happening here?"

Matsuri and the others turn to find Mari, Meiko and Hana approaching. With Kate and her friends towing alongside.

"Etsuko and Chiyo are having a staring contest." Tsubaki stated while watching the show.

Mari turns to see her sister struggling hard to keep her eyes open. "Hmm…it looks like she's struggling."

Meiko looked towards Etsuko, noticing how calm and relaxed she was as she stared back. "I'm rather surprised how Etsuko can stay like that…"

"I'm surprised as well…" Tsubaki leaned near Mari and the girls. "So how much do you wanna bet?"

Mari stared back at her with a blank look. "Really?"

Chiyo's eyes almost gave up on her, whimpering in pain as she struggled to keep them open wide. Her fingers dug into the table, feeling her toes curling up in her shoe as she continued to look directly at Etsuko who had not moved for a while.

"I-I can't…I can't do this anymore!" Chiyo screamed in her thoughts.

"Hang in there Chiyo!" Mayumi cheered.

"Stay in the game!" Kiyoshi yelled from the sideline.

Soon half of the students were cheering for Chiyo, but the other half were cheering for Etsuko who was not faltering.

"I-I can't…go on like this…" Chiyo said as she was about to blink.

"No! Come on Chiyo!"

Matsuri looks between the two. "Looks like it will be Etsuko who wins this one…I'm surprised how she managed to stay in the game."

Tsubaki narrowed her eyes on the small girl. "Yeeeaaah…almost too focused…"

"Tsubaki?" Matsuri asked.

Tsubaki walked up to the small girl who was too focused on Chiyo. Tsubaki took the opportunity and inspected the girl who was still looking at Chiyo. She leaned near the back of her head, something catching her eyes.

"Wait a minute…"

"I'm gonna blink!" Chiyo screamed in pain.

"CHIYO!"

*PHWEEEE!*

Everyone stopped cheering when they heard Tsubaki whistled loudly to get their attention. Chiyo blinked.

"Oh no I blinked! Tsubaki-chan, why!?" Chiyo asked as she rubbed her eyes.

Tsubaki looked back at Etsuko who remained still. Not moving from her spot. Everyone took notice how she had not moved an inch from where she sat, making them rather concerned for the girl.

"How come she's not moving?" Mayumi asked.

Tsubaki didn't answer as she reached for something on the back of the small girl's head. She moved her hand down, the audience hearing a zipper noise as she moved down along Etsuko's back. As she unzipped whatever it was, Etsuko's face soon deflated somewhat and quite literally, her face, neck and body fell off like a skin and revealed…another Etsuko!?

"Huh?"

"HUH!?"

"EGADD! ANOTHER ETSUKO-DONO!?" Gakuto yelled as he pointed at the small girl with trembling fingers.

Tsubaki rolled her eyes. "No dumbass. Etsuko was just wearing a costume of herself and pretended that she was not blinking."

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!?" Everyone erupted.

"I knew something was up." Mari said.

Chiyo blinked as she leaned in closer at the real Etsuko who was blinking nervously, looking the other way with a heavy blush. "E-Etsuko-chan…you cheated?"

"I-I wouldn't say cheated! I had Ojou-san make me a costume for the staring contest so that I can compete against you…"

"Oh…so Yukina helped you with this…" Meiko said.

Everyone turned towards Yukina who was sweating profoundly on the spot. She didn't respond to them as she immediately disappeared in a cloud of smoke. In her place was a log.

"HEY SHE'S GONE!" Hana exclaimed.

"AND SO IT ETSUKO!" Mitsuko pointed to the empty spot.

The only thing that remained was the costume of herself. Acting as a dead skin of some sort as it laid on the seat.

Chiyo blinked, wearing a baffled expression as she looked at the empty seat, only for her face slowly turned from anger to outright furious. Growling under her breath, she lets out a scream.

"ETSUUUUUUUUKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

-Hallway-

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GOT ME IN THIS MESS!" Yukina said as she ran with Etsuko on her back.

"I THOUGHT IT WOULD WORK! I WASN'T ANTICIPATING FOR MY FRIEND TO TURN ON ME LIKE THAT!" Etsuko yelled at the top of her tongue.

"YOU ARE GONNA PAY ME BACK FOR THIS! YOU NO GOOD LITTLE TROUBLE MAKER!" Yukina yelled back at her.

"I'LL PAY YOU BACK! BUT FIRST JUST RUUUUUUN!"

..

And that's a wrap. Things began to take a turn for the worse. Hayakki and her new friends are back on the scene, this time fully ready and geared as they encounter Matsuri and friends. But why is she truly here? And Usano being led into the trap. Scarlet makes her decision as she is put to the test? Tatsuya's plan is in full motion and it's only going to get worse from here…

We have reached the point of the story where things might get crazy and out of control. The sleeping wolves will finally be making their move on Hachimitsu and the heat is cranking up to the max as we continue the story. To many of you who are a little behind on the characters, Scarlet is (Honey) the female character from Prison School and is Mr. Important (Kojiro) fiance.

I don't want to reveal too much of Hayakki's character arc later down the road. But I can say for sure that she is a character that will play a major role in this saga. You could say that Matsuri and Hayakki will share the spotlight in this one. But don't worry, the Prison School characters will play their part in this as well. I have plans for how things will end during the Sleeping wolves saga and I think you are all gonna love it. Hopefully, but for now stay tune for more.

Another thing and while this is not official, I was working on an outline for a possible remake of this story. I still tend to finish this story, the remake will be set on the back burner until further notice and what I am going to be doing with it. I have made several plans for the story and how it will be different but still similar to the main story. To address the pink elephant in the room, Yoshimiya may be alive in the remake, but will be retooled in a different manner. So as Matsuri and the other characters who will be retooled in some shape or form. (Don't worry, they will remain the same just the way how they met will change possibly). Plus, the story will have a larger focus on the characters. So in words, it will be a more "slice of life" sort of feel, but Prison School style. So things might be over the top to say the least. Again, this is not official and will be set on the back burner until then. For now, I intend on finishing this story.

That's about it for now. Thank you for reading this chapter. Leave a review and if you have an opinion on the possible remake, feel free to leave it on the review or PM me if you wish.

Stay safe and I will see you all in the next chapter!
