"Do you think this will do?" Sookie's voice called out from the side of the tent, her eyes drifting to her friend who was on the opposite side at her own wardrobe getting ready.
"Fairy, you look hot in those jeans" Jessica grinned as she stepped out and looked her friend over, Jessica was sporting a pair of black tights and an oversized grey wool jumper, with some knee-high tan boots, her long red hair pulled up in to a high pony to keep it out the way of the wind when they travelled on the boats.
"Are you sure? Because you my little vampire are looking fine in those boots and I don't want to let the team down" Sookie giggled as she moved across the room and glanced at herself in the mirror on the Ensuite door, pulling at her blue halter top to make sure the "girls" were staying in place with her strapless bra being occasionally temperamental due to her larger breasts
"yes girl you are looking amazing, just wait to you see the boys tonight, trust me you are going to cause a stir in those jeans, they look like they were made for your ass" Jessica giggled as she grabbed her bag and stuffed in a hooded jacket in case she started to feel cold later on.
"Right well let's get going then, because you know Jase he won't wait for us" Sookie smiled as she grabbed her cropped leather jacket and her own bag and headed to the door with Jessica following behind after a quick glance in the full-length mirror to check her own outfit also.
"Oh, girls there you are" Michelle called from the front door where she had stopped with a couple of grocery bags, "I was beginning to wonder when you were going to turn up"
"Chelle you should have called us, here give us some of those bags" Sookie cried as she rushed over to the older woman and grabbed a couple from her, "what is all this anyways?"
"We thought we could have a little BBQ while we are out, you know find a good spot and have a few beers and some good food" Michelle explained as she locked the front door and started leading the younger women towards the boathouse where everyone was meeting
"Ah there you guys are, I guess it takes a while for you all to look as pretty as we do naturally" Jason laughed loudly at his own joke causing the other men around him to smirk or laugh along
"well not everyone can be as naturally pretty as you are big bro, some of us have to work at it, I mean you should see me and Jess first thing of a morning, like a pair of old crones" Sookie giggled along as she followed Michelle to put the bags in the boat they were going to be using
"I think you girls are pretty enough without anything else to make you erm... well, you know what I mean" Hoyt spoke out, trailing off when his cheeks turned scarlet, and he became a bit flustered with the attention he got from his comment
"Thanks Hoyt you're just the sweetest" Sookie called back trying to hide the fact that Jessica seemed to ready to explode beside her with the amount of blood rushing to her cheeks making her turn a violent shade of red, her breathing coming out fast in small pants
"Just breathe Hookah" Lalas soft voice spoke out beside them as he appeared in yet another fabulous outfit and with his eye makeup looking as fierce as always, his arm wrapped around Jessica as he pulled her in for a small hug and whispered in her ear a little to calm down the younger red-haired girl
"Lala you are looking amazing tonight" Sookie smiled brightly to the beautiful man as he turned around in a small spin showing her his ensemble
"never mind me miss Bon temps you are looking Hella fine in these them painted on jeans, look at that ass there baby girl, and this corn blue halter top looking all kinds of Gorgeous with your blue eyes and killer tits" Lala smirked to himself as he noticed a small pink tinge to sookies cheeks as she giggled and batted away the comments with a wave of her hand
"And Miss Hamby that jumper done showing your long legs and small waist of like it needs a warning"
"Lala you are just too much" Michelle smiled at the comradery between the outlandish chef and the two young girls who could both use a good confidence boost
"I may not be interested in the pussay but even I can see these ladies should have men dripping off them, me and my girls are looking spectacular tonight" Lafayette smiled brightly before he sashayed himself over to the other men and started to help get the boats ready
"He is a character huh?" Michelle smiled again as she turned back to her task of making sure they had everything they needed
"Sookie, Jess" a familiar voice called out behind them as they two girls turned to see who it was
"Hey Sam, I didn't realise you was coming tonight" Jessica replied as her eyes drifted to the man next to Sam, not recognising him from around
"yeah, Jason asked me thought you might want some more people closer to your own age or something" he rambled anxiously "anyways this is my cousin Tommy, he has come to stay with us for the summer while his mums busy working so i figured i would bring him along tonight if that's ok?"
"Am sure the more the merrier" Sookie squeaked as she felt the same little shiver run up her spine that she had been feeling all day, it seemed to happen every time she found the Viking sex gods eyes fall on herself, she still wasnt sure what their conversation had meant earlier on that day and it had plagued her all through work, replaying on a loop but still not getting any clearer. She had made a small pact with herself that she would ask him about it when she finally got the chance to but she did however think that would be in a few days when she wasn't so wound up about it and now she was definitely back tracking about it, there was no way she would be asking that gorgeous specimen of a man about their confusing conversation, there was no way he was showing any interest in her whatsoever she had read in to it wrong and she didn't want to be in another embarrassing situation where she found herself falling head over heels for a man who didn't want to give her the time of day
"Sookie, was it? Sam said you're from Bon temps" Tommy asked as he looked over the pretty blonde in front of him, he could see why his cousin hadn't stopped talking about her, she really was something else, her long blonde hair, Sunkissed skin, blue eyes and that body, well a man would have to be blind to not like the look of her body
"Yeah, I am, do you know it" Sookie asked curious about the new man's question
"Well, I have been there before, but I go to college with some of the boys from there" he smirked as he watched the colour drain from her face, he knew he recognised her unusual name and thought she looked familiar to those pictures and videos that had gone around some of the boys in school
"I don't really spend time with any of the boys at home, Jason used to scare them away when we were younger so now, they all avoid me like I have plague" she laughed lightly, her hand darting out and grabbing on to Jessicas hand, crushing it a little with her nerves
"Yeah, I can see why he would want to do that, I wouldn't want my sister hanging around with some loser guy either" Tommy laughed lightly his eyes following her every movement as she glanced to her friend with worried eyes
"Come on Sook, I think we are getting into the boats now" Jessica smiled tightly before pulling her best friend's hand and dragging her towards Jason and Michelle who had started to board one of the boats
Jessica glanced back to see Sam and Tommy looking like they had gotten involved in an argument, with the later reaching in his pocket for his phone and looking for something, she didn't know what he was up to but she hoped he knew better then to be tryng to mess with her best friend because if there was one person in this world that Jessica would kill for it would be her best friend
She let her eyes drift slightly to other side of the room where she spotted Lala and Eric stood close enough to the younger pair of men to hear what they were saying and what they were now looking at on the phone and judging by the look on erics face and the disgust curling Lalas lip, there might be a bit of a problem tonight.

"Michelle that food was excellent" Lafayette smiled brightly at the pretty dark-haired woman, "only full of all the good vibes like food should be"
"Your welcome Lala, but a lot of it was the girls who helped" Michelle explained her face turning proud as she glanced to her younger sister and her "sister-in-law"
"Yeah, thanks ladies it's always good to finish the day with some good old-fashioned BBQ" Jason sighed as he leaned back on the fence behind him and patted his full stomach happily
"So, Sookie are you going to be here for the summer?" the very large dark-haired man next to Jason asked, he had been introduced to the girls earlier. The giant man who had been working on the building site all day was the part owner of the building firm, he ran with his dad.
"Am not sure to be honest Alcide, i would certainly like too" Sookie smiled shyly as she felt a couple of pairs of eyes drift her way to listen to her answer
"You know you're always welcome here baby sis" Jason winked at the younger girl "aint that right Chelle" he asked turning to look at his girlfriend who gave a small nod back to him
"Absolutely, besides who is going to keep Jessica from getting into trouble without you" Michelle smiled brightly
"Well, that's a lot of responsibility for just little old me, you know Jess can get in trouble in an empty room" Sookie laughed at the shocked look on friends face at her statement
"Low blow fairy" Jessica smirked back
"Fairy?" that low voice that caused goosebumps to travel along Sookies arms every time she heard it spoke out
"yeah it our nicknames, Sookie is fairy because she used to have this green summer dress that made her look like Tinkerbell and Sookie calls me vampire after a mishap with a curling iron that made me look like I had a massive hickey for weeks and Sookie said I look like I had been bitten by a vampire" Jessica explained her cheeks staining pink a little as she laughed along with everyone
"you did really look like tinkerbell sook, we just never had the heart to tell you" Jason smirked as his sister turned a playful glare on him
"Well, I wish you would have; I mean I was walking around like that for a couple of years before Jessica pointed it out" Sookie pouted a little faking annoyance
"I think you would make a cute Tinkerbell" Sam spoke out suddenly his words a little slurred from them couple of beers he had drank with the older boys
"Thanks Sam" Sookie blushed as she looked down at the floor, she had noticed that Sam hadn't stopped staring at her this evening, and she had noticed his frequent trips during the day to wave at her although he didn't seem to be going anywhere. She didn't want to mention it to him earlier in case she had been wrong but with how he was now openly staring at her with some beers in his system she realised she hadn't made a mistake
"How did you burn your neck?" Hoyt asked his question quiet and directed at Jessica as he moved a little closer to the side of her, causing Sookie to shift a little to her left away so that they could talk privately, her eye-catching Jason who just smirked and nodded to her a little as he and Michelle jumped up and moved to start disposing of all the rubbish left after eating
"I think I would have liked to have seen Fairy Sookie" Erics low rumble whispered next to her, suddenly feeling her whole body jump on to alert at his low tone and the proximity of him to her body
"Oh don't, I am so embarrassed that I never noticed that I was walking around like a Lifesize fairy princess" Sookie mumbled feeling the heat from his own body overpowering the heat from the small bonfire that they had set up, he seemed to have moved closer to her
"I always thought that a lot of those princesses were hot, especially Tinkerbell" Eric smirked as she glanced up to him finally, he had noticed that she kept avoiding him, tonight he worried that his comments earlier in the day and then his quick exit might have caused her to be more off with him than she had been this morning, he was still unsure of what he had done to make her angry with him but she still seemed to be
"That is such a guy thing to say" Sookie giggled lightly as she quickly glanced him over and then turned back to the fire, her heart racing so fast she was sure he could hear every beat
"you telling me you haven't ever wanted to be whisked away by a strapping prince and taken to live in a big castle" Eric smiled as he tried to keep her talking to him, he hadn't been able to get her out of his mind all day, and he hated that he wasn't sure how to approach her with how badly this morning had gone. It wasn't often he second guessed himself with women, he was aware he was attractive and often women were eager for his attention, but this small southern spitfire seemed to be trying to guard herself from him and he wasn't sure why
"Sure, what little girl didn't wish to be whisked away by the prince, but my gran raised me to think that I should be able to rescue myself and I forgot that lesson once already and it cost me a lot so I don't think I would make that mistake again" Sookie frowned to herself as she realised she had let her mouth run away by itself without checking what it was saying, maybe she had better stop drinking the beers and swap to the bottles of water, getting up she headed towards a cooler leaving eric sitting on the blanket watching her walk away with confused look on his pretty face
"hey Sookie"
Sookie sighed, she really didnt need to speak to this guy while she tried to guzzle down some cold water to try and clear the fuzzy feeling in her head which she now believed might not have been the beer or the fire but maybe it was being near Eric
"hi Tommy" Sookie muttered as she turned to walk away from him again, something about this guy gave her the creeps a little and she wasnt sure what it was but something about the way he looked at her made her uncomfortable
"I realised where I knew you from" Tommy spoke out again as he leaned forward and grabbed her elbow stopping her from walking away from him and pulling her closer to himself
"How could you know me? We have never met before" Sookie asked confused by the taller man Infront of her, his scruffy brown hair hanging over his eyes making him look a little more menacing that he probably was
"We have a mutual friend" Tommy grinned as he once again watched the colour drain from her face, her eyes wide and started darting around looking for an escape from him
"I can't think who you would mean" Sookie pleaded a little trying to get her arm from his grasp, she didn't want to call out and draw attention to the situation, she hated to cause a scene and if Jason knew what she suspected this boy was trying to say she would be paying bail money tomorrow to get her brother out of prison on a manslaughter charge
"I think you do, I think you know him intimately, well I mean at least he knows you that way judging by what he has shown everyone in our fraternity"
"what" Sookie gasped, her breath starting to become ragged as she realised the horror of what this boy was saying to her
"yeah he loved to brag about his small town hick idiot girlfriend, how he used her when he was home for anything he wanted and then he had his big time girlfriend for at college, the one he was going to settle down with, the one who was going places not just a waitress in some back water town" Tommy smirked as he let the vile words pour out over her, he had already texted his college roommate when he found out he knew the small girl in front of him, his roommate to happy to share with him the videos and pictures he was talking about
"Oh my god" Sookie cried, her hand wiping at her face trying to hide the tears that had started falling as this man she didn't know poured acid into every open wound she had ever had and was starting to watch her bleed out on the floor
"if only these guys knew what you were hiding under those clothes, what you're willing to do to keep a man happy" Tommy grinned as he glanced back up to make sure that they hadn't started to draw attention, his own survival instincts starting to worry a little when he noticed the large blonde wasn't where he had been when they had approached the cooler
"What do you want? Why are you saying all of this?" Sookie whispered her whole world feeling like it was closing in around her, she had left home for a while to get away by the pain caused by her next-door neighbor and yet here he was spreading his poison where she was hiding, she felt she would never be free of him again
"I only want to see if what he said about you is true? I want to see if your worth keeping as a side piece, you see I have myself a proper girlfriend at college, she has all the connections and will make a real solicitors wife when I get settled down but she isn't really interested in being physical something about saving herself until we are married, but I know you don't care about such things so how about it Sookie? Want to show me why he kept you around so long?" Tommy leered down at her making her feel lower than dirt under his shoe
"I thought we loved each other" Sookie muttered as she tried to get her breathing under control, she couldn't believe what was happening
"Why would anyone want someone like you? You're only a good time thing darling" Tommy laughed loudly causing people to suddenly notice them
"I won't do anything with you" Sookie cried as she tried to hide her tears again, worrying about if anyone approached and heard what he was saying
"Not even if I happen to leak these videos to your brother, or how about your sister-in-law? How about your boss? Or how about the boss's son? I saw you talking to him you know, I saw the way he was looking at you. He only wants the same thing as me darling, he doesnt do relationships its well known around here, he will flirt and flatter his way in to your pants and then that will be it, he will dump you on the roadside where you belong" Tommy spat at her
"You wouldn't" Sookie sobbed loudly now, her panic taking over
"Meet me tomorrow after work and we can work something out or I start hitting send on these pictures"
Sookie turned and watched him start walking back to where his cousin was sitting looking definitely worse for wear, his eyes glazed, and his body slumped a little
"you ok Baby girl?" Lala asked from behind her causing her to jump
"me yeah am fine thanks" Sookie quickly rubbed at her face trying to hide her tears and her red eyes as she turned to the beautiful man behind her
"from what Lala heard, your in a bit of trouble" Lafayette studied the younger girl quietly as she looked up to him with a mixture of terror and panic written across her face
"you didnt? I mean did you hear? I mean..." Sookie rambled as her eyes started darting around to see if anyone else heard anything
"no one else heard anything but I heard enoughs to knows that you my little fairy needs to go and speak to your brother and tell him what that little shit is trying to do" Lafayette frowned as he let his eyes wander to where the disguting man was now sitting laughing and joking with the other men knowing what he had just done to this poor girl
"i can't tell him, please dont tell him, Jason will kill him or if he doesn't kill him he will definitely kill Bill"
"who is Bill?" Lafayette asked as he pulled the young girl a little away from the rest of the group to a log that was on the edge of the clearing, making them both sit down beside each other so no one would hear them talking
"he is my ex, he is where tommy got the..." Sookie started to explain but her voice got stuck in a sob
"what a sick son of a... now baby girl i think you better start telling Lala all about this and then we can figure out what to do next"
"i dont know where to start" Sookie sighed as she took another drink of the water she had forgotten was in her hand
"tell me from the beginging, we aint in no rush and trust me Lala loves a good story, we will sort this baby girl even if i have to go and get myself a louisville slugger and take it out of his face myself" Lafayette smiled at the small blonde as she let a small smile slip through her tears
"really Lala, your going to take him out carrie underwood style?" Sookie smirked feeling a little calmer with her friend
"hey i was all parish baby girl now come on stop stalling tell Lala all about it"
"well it started when Bill moved in with his uncle Jessie next door..."
