Celestia moaned to herself as she rested her head on her hoof. She had just informed her sister of her plans for them to retire together; suffice to say, the discussion hadn't gone pleasantly. To think, she had been so excited to share her surprise with Luna.
It had been so hard for the two of them to keep up a good relationship with them barely being able to see each other throughout the day, and this retirement was supposed to fix that.
Of course, Luna doesn't even care about that! I put all of this time and effort into surprising her with everything, and she just wants to find anything to be angry about. I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised, though. She's always complaining about something!
Then of course, her ungrateful sister started shouting at her before she marched off (in the middle of their conversation), and slammed the door.
She's so immature, and yet wonders why I don't trust her to be left alone. SHE THROWS A TEMPER TANTRUM ANYTIME SHE DOESN'T GET HER WAY!! If I left her by herself, she'd probably destroy the castle in a fit of rage, and then I'd have to clean up the mess! Like I always have to.
Celestia took a deep breath in order to calm herself down. Okay, being angry about it won't solve anything. She sighed. Besides, I hate to break it to Luna, but the retirement is happening whether she likes it or not. She'll see! This will be good for us, and our relationship.
AUTHOR'S NOTES
Sorry for such a short chapter. I didn't really have all that much to say in this one; however, these first two being kind of the setup, the future chapters should be longer.
Besides, I think I got the point across on both ends.
I didn't want to vilify Celestia in this. Despite the fact it's mostly going to be written from Luna's perspective, I wanted to share Celestia's point of view as well, since the majority of conflicts are hardly one sided.
Last thing. Keep in mind that both of these chapters take place when both of the characters are angry. They of course don't feel these ways about each other all the time, but when you're angry, your brain automatically starts bringing up the worst qualities about the person or thing you're angry about.
