Jon Arbuckle was just walking in the neighborhood, when Liz stopped him.
"Hey, Jon! Look at me!" said Liz, off-screen.
Jon Arbuckle turns around and sees Liz in a cat suit.
"Liz? Is that you? What are you doing, and what are you wearing?" asked Jon.
"This is a costume! I'm a cat!" replied Liz. "Meow!"
"Liz, you look funny in a cat suit." said Jon Arbuckle, who was laughing.
"Why, thanks, Jon!" said Liz, satisfied at Jon's compliment. "Ever since I was a little girl, I always loved cats. So I thought I'd wear this cat costume! Aren't I cute?"
"Of course!" said Jon.
"Thanks! But you know what would even be more cute?" asked Liz.
"No. What?" Jon asked back.
"Petting me! Pet my head, Jon! A cat should always get a pet as much as you get Garfield. Pet me, please!" said Liz, wanting to be pet by Jon.
"How can I resist that face? Come over here!" said Jon.
Jon started petting Liz, in a cat suit. Liz started giggling.
"That tickles my head!" Liz giggled.
"Satisfied?" said Jon.
"Yes, thank mew!" said Liz.
Just then, Garfield came by.
"Isn't that my pet cat?" said Jon, pointing to Garfield.
"Oh yeah, it is! That's Garfield!" said Liz. Liz then went to Garfield. "Look, I'm a cat, just like you! Do you think I'm cute?"
Garfield gave Liz a thumbs down, because he was not amused by the way Liz looked.
"Looks like Garfield didn't like your cat suit, Liz." said Jon,
"Uh...I'm not a real cat, Garfield. It's just pretend. You do realize, right?" asked Liz.
"Nope. I know you're just trying to play some tricks on me. But it doesn't work." thought Garfield. He then walked away.
Nermal came by, impressed at the way Liz looked.
"Uh, Jon...what is going on here?" asked Liz.
"Oh, you'll see." said Jon.
Nermal then chased Liz around, still in a cat suit.
"Well, I hope she can handle the love bites!" laughed Jon.
