We spent a month looking for Steve. A whole month. We found the nanotech in his apartment. We moved Pepper and Morgan, again. But we're no where closer to finding anything out.
Thor's tried to get Loki to come back but he's refusing. Thor told me he's really hurt by what I did. I get it. I just wish he'd let me explain. Explain more thoroughly.
I've gotten better with my powers. Wanda's helped a lot. Bucky's been keeping me busy. As if he knows what I'm doing when I'm alone in my room…
"Gym in 10." Bucky peaked his head through the door.
"I was thinking of hitting the trial around the compound." Amber said closing my journal. "I need to clear my head." Amber stood up from her chair and grabbed a thin jacket.
"Want some company?" He opened the door and leaned against the doorframe.
"No. I'll be back in a couple hours." She hurried out the room.

"I can't believe you're making me do this." Loki tugged at the collar of his shirt, forgetting how uncomfortable it can be.
"Stark could use your help." Thor lied as they walked into the compound.
"Tony wants my help? I find that hard to believe."
Loki stopped as Amber rounded the corner.
"Now that I think about it." Thor rested his hand on Loki's shoulder. "I never said Tony needed your help."
"Should have just left him at home." Amber spoke, putting in one ear bud. "If he cared he wouldn't have left." She put the other in and walked past them, out the building.
"Loki."
"Buck." Loki sighed. "How is she?"
"You shouldn't have left." He said.
Bucky turn his head to the side slightly. Hearing chatter from his ear piece. He looked out the window doors, eyes wide. "Shit." He took off running towards the direction Amber went.
Loki instinctively followed.
They found Amber sitting on the ground, examining her ankle. She looked up, hearing the footsteps coming towards her.
"Seriously?"
"Shut up." Bucky spat.
Amber rolled her eyes and stared at Loki who came up behind Bucky.
"I just rolled my ankle, Bucky." She stood up, noticing his more alert than usual. "What'd you hear?"
"German chatter cutting the feed. Probably best you go back inside."
Amber rolled her eyes as she tested out her ankle, which hurt a little but got better the more she walked. She walked past Loki, not giving him the time of day.
Loki grabbed Bucky's arm as he was following Amber.
"What's going on?"
"You should really talk to her." Loki tightened his grip. "What does a long sleeve on a hot summers day tell you?" He yanked his arm out of his grip and jogged after Amber.
Loki followed right behind. Once he walked into the compound he stood next to Bucky, who was watching Amber talk to Thor.
"If you noticed, why haven't you done anything about it?" Loki asked him.
"We all did." He continued to watch Amber. "She said if the one person she was supposed to count on just up and left. Then she must not be worth saving." He shot a look to Loki.
Loki looked at the ground. He knew he fucked up. He knew what he needed to do.
"He left, Thor! He promised that he would be there for me!" Amber raised her voice. "I know you heard me scream for him. Call for him. Beg for him!" Her voice cracked. "He didn't come then so why did you force his ass back here now?!"
"Because we're tired of watching you hurt yourself. We're tired of waiting - wondering if you killed yourself!" Thor yelled back, towered over her. "I cannot stand by and watch you continue to harm yourself because of your pain. If you won't listen to us, we hope you'll listen to him." He pointed to Loki.
Amber looked towards Loki, holding tears in her eyes. "He gave up on me," She looked back to Thor, "Why should he be the one to save me?"
"If it means anything, I still love you." Loki took a few steps towards her. "I am so sorry for leaving you. Abandoning you."
"That used to mean something." She blinked and tears escaped. "Now it's just words with empty meanings." She said as the wall closest to her exploded.
