"Shadow buddy, you okay, you've been tossibg and turning. Bad dreams right." Shadow heard Sonic asking in bed. It was late night into early morning and while the cubs and Sonic were sleeping, Shadow couldn't so was getting a drink but also his noise cancelling headphones and phone going downstairs making Sonic sigh lying back down sensibg what Shadow was doing hoping he'd be okay.
I hope he's okay, he was mentioning Maria in his sleep meaning he was having that flashback and felt embarrassed but he's probably listening to The Tortured Souls Department aga8n. He did take his headphones and phone with hin.
Meanwhile Shadow had made himself tea and in the living-room on the couch listening to Taylor Swift as he secretly was a fan and Amy had outed him on Twitter which he hadn't been too happy about relieved Sonic didn't make fun of him for it plus Moonie loked it too surprised seeing her appear using Chaos Control making her facepalm thinking she'd be in trouble if he saw her up thus late but he wasn't.
"It's okay kiddo, I'm not a good sleeper either and having bad dreams abiht things… you shouldn't worry about." Shadow said seeing her on the couch beside him which was conforting to him feeling sleepy a lil as his wings revealed themselves wrapping them aroubd Moonie making her grin. "You think I'll get wings papa." she asked yawning making Shadow smile as he knew she like Sonic loved when he used his wings.
"Anything's possible maybe when you're older." he told her making her relieved falling asleep making him smile kissing her cheek. Later that morning as it was tine to get up, Sonic stretched and got up seeing Miko was up saying Shadow and Moonie wwre still sleeping wanting to wake feeling hisdad stop him. "That's not a good idea as papa and yoyr sister will be grumpy if you wake them up." Sonic told him making him relent.
Mikp sighed as they were having breakfast then leavingfor the day hoping Moonie wasn't upset she was missibg school seeing his dad shake his head assuring him it was preschool so it was fine and he'd tell their teacher relieving the male-cub. He was worried about his sister which Sonic got explaining she was like their papa when it came to sleeping as they were leaving.
Later that afternoon, Miko was home from school seeing both his papa and Moonie were awake seeing Moonie hug him asking what happened at school and sorry she hadn't went making Sonic smile. "Mikey missed you. Pkus we might be going on a field trip." Moonie heard Miko tell her making her excited while they were having a snack only Miko had T-Ball practice giving Sonic an idea. "Why don't you come with us to the park. You can play on the playvround while yoyr brother's at practice." he told her making thefemale cub grin as she was ready.
Shadow smiled seeing them leaving as he could have peace and quiet for a bit knowing T-Ball would tire their son out of energy hopefully and would help Moonie learn to sleep better so it didn't mess with things like school sighing hearing the phone go off answering as it was Maddie explaining to her that Sonic and the cubs had just left so would tell them when they got back hanging up. He was eatibg leftover cookies as he was hungry like Sonic alomg with Miko hoping they were okay at the park wanting t to help Moonie with her sleeping since she had preschool like her brother listening to Taylor Swift on his headphoneson the couch.
