As a young adult, Pieces becomes a rum runner for Marigold.
Pieces is a shy and timid but friendly and polite young man. Due to his meek nature, Pieces is prone to get picked on but is defended by Tesla who becomes his girlfriend later in life. He considers himself a bookworm and a highly advanced reader and math wizard.
