Prologue
Merlin and Arthur were chasing after a sorcerer rushing down the stairs. When they reached the bottom they saw how there were two routes they could take. Prince and servant turned to look one way and then the other before Arthur grabbed Merlin's arm and with his other hand motioned for Merlin to go through the tunnel behind him so they could cut the sorcerer off.
At Merlin's look of confusion and idiocy, Arthur growled, "That means you go the other way and cut him off."
Merlin nodded, "Okay." and rushed off where he was told.
Arthur stared after him for a second before rushing off and bumping into Merlin again once they caught up again.
Prince and servant stared at each other before they noticed a shadow behind them and eventually a partial portion of the sorcerer. Arthur signaled again for Merlin to go around and cut him off, while Arthur followed him.
Arthur and Merlin arrived back to were they were in the beginning right under the stairwell.
"Where is he?"
Merlin shrugged turning to look the other way, "I didn't see anyone."
"He was right here! Don't tell me you let them get past you?"
"Arthur no one passed me."
"Are you blind?!"
"Are you looking for me?" The sorcerer spoke drawing the men's attention. he wore a grey hood and held a staff like a shepherd. "I am Anhora. Keeper of the Unicorns."
Arthur turned briefly to Merlin before addressing Anhora, "Camelot is under curfew. What's your business here?"
"I have come to deliver a message."
"And who is the message for?"
"It is for you, Arthur Pendragon."
"Is it you who is responsible for killing our crops? Turning our water into sand?"
"You alone are responsible for the misfortune that has fallen Camelot."
"Me? You think I'd bring drought and famine upon my own people?" Arthur asked indignantly, outraged at what the sorcerer was insinuating.
"When you killed the unicorn, you unleashed a curse. For this, Camelot will suffer greatly."
"If you have put a curse on Camelot, you will lift it or you will pay with your life."
"The curse was not my doing."
"Undo the curse or face execution."
"Only you can do that. You will be tested."
At this point Arthur had stopped listening and reached an arm out to grab the sorcerer, "You are under arrest."
As Arthur touched Anhora, both Prince and Keeper vanished before the Servant's eyes.
Merlin rushed forward to were both men were standing. "ARTHUR!"
As Arthur adjusted to his new surrounding he spins around trying to gather his senses and figure out where the sorcerer took him.
"Until you have proven yourself and made amends for killing the unicorn the curse will not be lifted." Anhora spoke appearing at the top of a hill above him drawing his attention. "If you fail, any of the tests, Camelot will be doomed for all eternity."
With a raise of his staff, Anhora pushed it forth and Prince Arthur fell to a slumber his body transforming by the time he hit the ground. The Prince's hands had become hooves, his head sprouted antlers and he had gained a white tipped tail.
