47. The School Duel 2 Electric Boogaloo

It was a beautiful day outside. The birds were chirping, the flowers were blooming, the Sun was giving energy towards all living beings, the grass was blowing, the submarine was swimming towards their destination, young duelists were dueling. It was a nice day to be asleep as the cold air was coming out of the window.

From the window was Celina, taking a nice long sleep to get ready for a popular event in her school. It was known as the School Duel, an annual event as she was part of a representation duel last year, but lost at the last turn of the duel, but this time, she does not have to worry. Especially after she saw The Light.

Celina did not even feel like waking u-

"Celina, wake up! Master Sartorius told us that the submarine was coming! You need to awake like everyone else in the Society!" yelled Alexis as she kept on knocking on her door, which made the girl wake up and then roll over on her bed.

"5 more minutes." Celina mumbled as she and Skye looked at her flabbergasted.

"Celina, you said that the last 5 minutes. And the last 5 minutes before that. And even before that, you said that once more so wake up!" yelled Skye as she knocked on her door as Celina woke up and looked at her door. She slowly blinked as she was exhausted beyond belief and then once more rolled on her bed.

"...2 more minutes." muttered Celina as she tucked herself in with those comfortable sheets. Why hasn't she gotten here soone- Oh yeah, those uniforms.

Alexis placed her hand on her nose and pinched it, "It is like dealing with Atticus all over again. Wake up, you are not going to miss this." said Alexis as she was this close to kicking down the door and dragging her ass where they have to be.

"...mmmmmmmm…."

"What?"

"Oh my gosh, she is worse than Akira after pulling an all-nighter. What did she do last night?" asked Skye as she then slammed her fist on the door, "Wake up! This is getting ridiculous!" Skye is pretty sure that if they continue to knock on her door like this, they would leave a permanent mark on that door.

Skye and Alexis placed their ears on the door as they could hear her still sleeping. Skye and Alexis looked at each other before nodding.

"We will tell Master Sartorius about this."

As soon as that sentence was over, Celina got out of the room looking like she just went to the shower, got new clothes and looked like she was awake for 3 hours. "Alright, let's go." They smirked as they then began to walk towards the shippage.

As then, Sartorius was sitting all alone in his room. His room was pretty much the same as before, but this time there was a chandelier that had small snowflakes on them as decorations. On his table was laid out a deck of tarot cards as he looked at them with a smirk on his face.

"James Cook. That is the name of the South Academy's Top Duelist, isn't he? Hmm. Such an interesting person, reading his Tarot card should be interesting. He plays no role in this war, but if I want to expand by brigade, this shall be the best way." said Sartorius as he then picked out his deck and then began to shuffle it. He then placed the deck on his table.

Sartorius then placed his fingers on the top of his deck and then drew the top card. He saw the card and nodded. "King Of Swords Right Side Up? How interesting… This represents him as a man that is strong headed, decisive, intellectually oriented that can understand people and reason with them… Though… I think most of it has to do with his eye."

Even though Jim's secret was untold by anyone, even by him, but he is one of the few people that know about his secret. The eye that is always covered up.

It was known as The Eye Of Orichalcum.

An eye that was able to see into a person's soul to see their true meaning. It can even see through someone's lies and fake persona better than anyone which only meant that he has to be careful around him at all times.

"It seems that I was quite lucky to not get him involved in this war. If he was here, then this domination would have ended by now." said Sartorius as he placed the card on his deck once more. He then stood up, "That is what Destiny truly shows. Even if you would have a perfect counter against someone, that does not mean they have the means to stop it."

Sartorius then began to walk outside of his room, ready to see the duel between James Cook and Tyranno Hassleberry.

In the Slifer Red Dorm mansion, the gang was actually up and ready, but not for the duel. The only one missing was Bastion, which they barely noticed if they are being honest with themselves.

Jaden and Hassleberry were practising duels with each other as Hassleberry wanted to get ready for the school duel with Ray and Sora were watching Season 2 of Thousand Year Blood War where Kenpachi sliced up a Meteor in half, which was pretty hype. What about Yusuke, Chazz and Syrus?

Well…

Chazz and Syrus were actually beating the ever lasting shit out of each other. It didn't even start out anything bad or anything, they just looked at each other and started boxing each other. It was on sight. Luckily, it was around the kitchen, so they only have one man to accidentally hit during their daily- hourly beatings towards each other.

What about Yusuke?

"Wash them dishes! Wash them dishes! Wash them motherfucking dishes! Wash them dishes! Wash them dishes! Wash them motherfucking dishes!" Yusuke was washing them motherfucking dishes with headsets, playing a song by the name of "Wash Them Dishes" by a Rapper by the name of Fernando Strongbottom. Meanwhile in the background, Chazz is slamming Syrus' head on one of the tables.

It was actually one of the more calmer days for everyone in the Slifer Red dorm as Yusho wasn't there as he was having a fever, which is the male equivalent of getting the plague.

As then Bastion opened up the door, panting as he was running straight towards his friends, "Guys, I have important news!" yelled Bastion, but to his dismay, Jaden and Hassleberry were still practicing for the school duel, Ray and Sora were watching Bleach once more, Yusuke was washing them dishes and Syrus headbutted Chazz's stomach.

Bastion sighed as he placed a hand on his forehead, "For goodness sake, guys!" yelled Bastion, but to his dismay, he continued to try and get his friends' attention, "Guys!" They didn't even react this time, "GUYS!"

They all stopped what they were doing as Yusuke took off his headset to look at him, "What's wrong?"

"Oh now you re-" Bastion stopped himself as he looked at them with a tired look on his face, "South Academy has officially reached Duel Academy and is currently at the docs!" yelled Bastion as then everyone stood up as Hassleberry charged at him as he picked him up by his shirt.

"WHAT?! Why haven't you told us sooner, Private?!" yelled Hassleberry with wide eyes as Bastion looked at him with a look that basically said "Really?"

"I tried. I was calling you on my phone at least 10 times, but you haven't picked up at all." said Bastion as he then pulled out his phone, did his password, clicked the Phone app and saw that he was not lying, much to their shock, "You see this? This is me being factual. So are we going to- OMPF!"

Bastion was thrown to the side as Hassleberry then began to run straight at the docs with the gang quickly following up. Jaden was the only one to react as he turned to The Golden Eggwich of Ra, "Sorry dude, but we are in a rush!" he yelled as he continued to run.

"Wait, we need to close the doo- Oh who am I kidding, I am going to close it." said Bastion as he stood up. He walked up to the door and closed it. He locked the door so that no one would get in as he then began to run after his friends.

They were ready to see who Hassleberry is about to face in the School Duel.

INTRO!

We first cut into a look into Celina as she said those words.

I won't be bent and I won't be dragged along

We then cut towards Elemental HERO Neos flying in the air of Duel Academy as the other Heroes flew with him as the Leader had a determined look on his face with the Neo-Spacians looking at him with narrowed eyes.

I want to stay honest to how I feel now

As then, right behind him, the Destiny HEROes and Vision HEROes flew beside him as on the front was The Grand Jupiter, ready to fight for freedom as Honest flew right beside them.

Change

We cut back to Celina saying those words.

No matter how many times I'm reborn

We then see on the other side, the Lunalight monsters flying to the same direction as the Heroes with Leo, Sabre Cat, Panther, Tiger and Sword Dancers right at the front with a determined look on their faces.

I will embrace my sadness

Then beside the Lunalight monsters, three sets of Dragons flew right beside those monsters as they revealed themselves to be that of Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon, Clear Wing Synchro Dragon and Starving Venom Fusion Dragon as they flew straight towards their mission.

As I run

When the two forces collided, it caused a massive explosion in the back of Duel Academy that the screen then showed the words, "Yugioh GX: Rewrite!"

I was sad when you betrayed me

We then appear to show 4 people in the room of a circle the first being Sartorius Kumar with a sadistic grin on his face as we then see Aster Phoenix with a determined look on his face.

But you couldn't catch me, I'm right here

Then we see Celina Boyle looking at the sky with both of a lost and content look on her face as she looked at it like it was The Light.

It's not enough and there's no end to it

Jaden Yuki then looked at her with a sad look on his face as he gripped his fist into a ball trying to think of a way to get everything back to normal.

Try to distort me even more

Then we see Sora Perse and Ray Shadows facing each other with unusual serious expressions on their faces.

(Infest) This is such a crazy world

We then see Skye Zaizen looking at the screen with a sad look on her face as we see Alexis Rhodes, in her new modified outfit, looking at the statue that resembled that of The Light Of Destruction.

Sometimes it makes me lose sight of who I am

Zane Truesdale, Hell Kaiser sat on a throne against the duelists he defeated as Nightshroud circled around the man's body with a terrifying look on his face.

Do you want to leave the traditional ways?

Then we cut to Bastion Misawa looking at his desk with a sad look on his face as he had his new deck spread out as he tried to think of the best way of winning the duel.

Just don't make that decision for me

We then see both Jaden and Celina raise their heads at the same time with a split screen showing Jaden's right side and Celina's left side as it then switched sides a second later as then we see Jaden reaching out to a void as from the void tried to come out a hand in worry.

I'm going down my own path

We then see Chazz Princeton, Syrus Truesdale, Yusuke Fujiwara, Vellian Crowler, Bonaparte, Yusho Sakaki in a group as they stared into the upcoming battles.

Just standing around here, waiting

Then we see Tyranno Hassleberry looking at the screen as then his eyes then appear to be that of a dinosaur.

Never try to start anything

We then cut to see West Academy with Chancellor Marik standing there with a happy smile as Jim Crocodile Cook stood at the front while David Rabb, Reggie Mackenzie, Leo and Luna stood out with hyped looks on their faces.

Change

Then several duel disks were then activated.

I won't be bent and I won't be dragged along

We first see Revendread Slayer battling against Clear Wing Synchro Dragon and Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon as he swung his bones around the entire arena as his eyes then glew red as he transformed into that of Revendread Executor as Starving Venom Fusion Dragon flew at him.

I want to stay honest to how I feel now

Then we see Horus The Black Flame Dragon LV8 bursting fire from its mouth as Annihilator Archfiend blocked it by raising its arm as on the other side Frightfur Daredevil stopped an attack with his trident against Ultimate Conductor Tyranno.

I won't let you have your way

Then we cut to Arcana Force The Just, The Chariot and The Strength using all of their might as they blocked attack from several Dinosaurs coming towards them at high speeds.

Change

Now, Fossil Dragon Skullgios then began to run at Super Conductor Tyranno at full force as several smaller monsters were in a war against each other.

No matter how many times I'm reborn

Cyber End Dragon shot a massive beam straight towards Cyber Ogre 2 as the monster returned the power at full force.

I will embrace my sadness

We then cut towards Neos battling against Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon with the other Heroes battling against the other Lunalights, with Flame Wingman trying to take out Starving Venom Fusion Dragon with Sunrise shooting a blast straight towards Clear Wing Sycnchro Dragon.

As I run

We then cut to Jaden and Celina as they were dueling as for a moment, Celina screamed out something.

Never again will I

Then everything else became background noise as then…

Return to your side

The two reached out their hands together, trying to end this battle.

I'm going to do things the way I want to

Jaden then looked at her for a moment as Celina then smiled.

I WANNA CHANGE

Then the battle continued to commence until one of them fell to their knees tired as the screen then became black.

At the Docs of Duel Academy, there were 2 sets of people on there with a yacht nearby. One was mostly the Ra Yellow duelists, some Slifer Reds as then the Obelisk Whites were at Duel Academy's side alongside a couple of teachers. Sartorius was on the front while Crowler and Bonaparte were looking at their opponents straight at the eye.

On the otherside of the submarine, were most of the South Academy duelists, with David Rabb, Reggie MacKenzie, Leo and Luna at the forefront, but not the Chancellor of South Academy, Marik Melvin Ishtar as there was a small bird on his shoulder.

Aster was leaning on his yacht with narrowed eyes because of 2 things: 1. Was the weird transportation of The South Academy and 2. The fact that the Marik Ishtar was the Chancellor.

The two Chancellors walked up to each other, with Marik jumping off of his submarine. The two looked at each other before they shook hands. "Welcome, welcome, Chancellor Marik! It has been such a long time since we last seen each other, hasn't it?" asked Crowler with a friendly smile on his face.

"The feeling is mutual, Vellian. I hope that you still don't hate the Slifers, now don't you?" asked Marik with a smile on his face.

"Oh don't be so silly, Marik. You know that I have grown," almost everyone that knew Crowler turned to him with a raised brow, "I just hope you are still not in your sister's shadow."

"Oh please, Ishizu is doing great at her museum. I just hope the same can not be said for you and Chancellor Sheppard." said Marik as Crowler, to their shock, wasn't even in the slightest insulted by that.

"You are such a jester, Marik. I hope that it is not as humorous as my student wiping the floor out of yours." said Crowler as they still were shaking hands.

"Hilarious." said Marik as they then stopped shaking hands as he turned to Bonaparte with a raised brow, "And you must be… Oh, Vice Chancellor Bonaparte, am I correct?" asked Marik as then Bonaparte would have fallen like a fangirl at a Michael Jackson concert, but kept his cool.

"Oh, why yes I am! It is a pleasure to meet you, monsieur." said Bonaparte as he reached out his hand to shake his hand as Marik returned it.

"I feel the same way. I heard a lot of good from Sheppard before he departed for no strange reason. Do you know why he is no longer a Chancellor?" asked Marik raised a brow as Crowler shook his head.

"That reason is classified, I am afraid," said Crowler as Marik nodded.

"I see."

"Uhh, monsieur, I have a question." said Bonaparte as Marik turned his attention to him. "I am sorry if this is offensive to you, but why do you have a bird on your shoulder?" asked Bonaparte as they were interested in that as well.

"Oh! This is Mr. Tweetums Jr!" said Marik with a happy tone, "He is my good friend's, Mr. Tweetums, son, so I decided to take care of him once he passed away! Isn't he adorable?" asked Marik as he began petting the bird with a happy look on his face as everyone else sweatdropped seeing this.

Leo turned to Luna, "15 bucks says that he loves him more than he does us."

"Leo, I am not losing that bet since everyone knows that is a fact." said Luna.

"Oh, sorry about that." Marik stopped petting his pet bird. He turned to Crowler, "So where is your Steve to duel?"

Everyone, sans South Academy, turned to him with a strange look on their faces.

"Steve? I mean we have a blind student here, but- Don't you mean student?" asked Crowler.

Marik shrugged, "Eh, tomato, tomatwa. Same thing honestly." he said as almost everyone in South Academy sighed seeing their Chancellor acting like this. It is just something he can't stop doing. 11 years ago when he formed the Rare Hunters, all of them were named Steve for no reason, so he kept on calling them Steves.

Crowler looked back at his students with the only one not looking extremely confused was Sartorius, who kept a brave face the entire time, "Well… I have no idea. I think he might be-"

"WE ARE HERE!" yelled Hassleberry as everyone else was behind him, trying to catch their breath. "Sorry, that I am late, we got distracted." said Hassleberry as he then saluted at Chancellor Crowler as the man sighed in disappointment.

"I am not shocked, honestly." said Crowler as he then moved his hand straight towards Hassleberry's back as he pushed straight towards Marik who had a welcoming look on his face. However, the gang instantly knew that man as that face was recognizable from a mile away.

"Hold on, isn't that…" began Ray.

"No way…" Sora couldn't believe his eyes.

"It can't be…" Yusuke was stunned to see him

"MARIK ISHTAR!?" the gang yelled in shock as they looked at him with surprised looks on their faces as Hassleberry was stunned.

"Looks like I have been caught red handed." said Marik with a small laugh.

"OMG! OMG! OMG!" yelled Jaden as he then ran straight towards Marik with his deckbox, "I can not believe that the Marik Ishtar is here! One of the few users of the Gravekeeper's Deck! The one that fought Yugi in the finale of the Battle City duel! AH I can't believe it!" the boy was acting like he met Santa Claus.

"I didn't expect to see someone that familiar with me." said Marik as Jaden bounced left and right.

"Are you kidding?! You are one of the most popular people on the planet! Up there with even Joey Wheeler!" Jaden then pushed his deck box right at him, "Can I please have your autograph?!" the boy couldn't contain himself. He was about to pop like a balloon the more he stared at him.

"Certainly." said Marik as he began to sign the deck box and once he was finished, he handed it straight towards him. "Here."

Once Jaden got the deck box, he fell unconscious. Neos appeared right beside him, "IS HE DEAD!? JADEN, NO! WAKE UP! I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU!" Neos then began to perform CPR on him while everyone watched in amusement. No one had the heart to tell him that he was alive. Winged Kuriboh placed his claw on his shoulder.

"That moron really just-"

"Yup." began Chazz and finished Bastion.

"Never change, Jay, never change." said Syrus.

"Jaden… he is still the same." said Aster who just walked straight towards them. He then began to walk straight towards him and picked him up.

"He had more of a reaction to him getting an autograph than anything that happened in the past few months." said Celina as she crossed her arms and began to shake her head in disappointment.

Hassleberry then shook his head, "I am honoured to meet ya, General Ishtar, but where is my enemy? Is it that man?" asked Hassleberry as he pointed at David who looked at him with an interested look on his face.

"Sorry, but no. I lost my duel against your true opponent." said David as Reggie smirked.

"Yeah, and by that he meant he lost a total of 3 times." said Reggie as David grew a tick mark.

"Wait, really? Then who is my opponent?" asked Hassleberry as the South Academy students then opened up the door.

"Sorry for the late entrance, mates, but I believe it is my turn." as everyone, with the exception of Marik, backed away as then they saw the man that was going to duel Hassleberry with wide eyes. From it, emerged a man that would've actually been the perfect counter for Sartorius.

Jim Crocodile Cook.

But then, they were shocked for a different reason.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH! IS THAT A GOD DAMN CROCODILE?!" yelled Syrus as he jumped in Bastion's arms as the boy looked at it with a horrified look on his face.

Pretty much everyone with the exception of Sartorius backed away from Shirley as Crowler and Bonaparte jumped in Marik's arms, which he was surprisingly able to handle them. He was surprisingly really built with a great physique.

Then, Shirley then began to approach Jaden, which Aster desperately wanted to get him out of there, but it was getting closer and closer. Jaden slowly woke up as he blinked as he saw her coming closer and closer towards him. "Is that… an alligator?" asked the Hero Duelist as Neos cracked his knuckles.

Shirley walked up to him and then…

She lowered her head as if she was ready to get petted.

"Huh?" asked pretty much everyone.

Jaden blinked, but he shrugged his shoulders as he began to pet her.

"Huh, never saw Shirley get friendly with a new fellow." said Jim as he then crouched down and began to pat his knees, "Come girl, come!" Shirley quickly turned around as she began to walk straight at him as then she rolled over and began to pet her. "Who's a good sheila! You are! Yes, you are!"

Everyone watched in shock as the man was petting the crocodile without a care in the world. "Sorry about that, mates! Shirley is like that when she goes somewhere new and for your information, she ain't no gator, she is a crocodile. Big difference." said Jim as then Shirley walked around Jim as he then continued to pet her, which calmed everyone down for a moment.

Jim then looked at Duel Academy, "With the introduction, I am James Crocodile Cook, but me mates call me Jim for short. A pleasure to meet all of ya." said Jim as they then calmed themselves down once they can feel that this man has a calm aura around him which makes him the perfect person to become friends with a matter of minutes.

Aster narrowed his eyes at that. "Jim Cook… that names sounds familiar… Isn't he the champion of Australia for Duel Monsters? Being the best in the whole Continent ain't no joke which means that this man is not to be messed with, however… I heard that he got himself a Planet monster once he won that tournament. Which one though?" Aster never met Jim, however he did see him play with a Crocodile deck once which was the most he ever saw of him.

Jaden slowly stood up, "I… Am Jaden Yuki. Good to meet you." said Jaden as he began to approach Jim as he handed him a hand. A brave move because no one wanted to get close to a man with a crocodile next to him.

Jim looked at Jaden with a narrowed eye. He had the ability to see what a person was capable of, to see a person and what they are truly thinking of, their emotions, their thoughts and their feelings. When he saw that boy, all he could feel was a light of a tunnel. A Yang to be exact. Jim saw him as a boy filled with positivity, happiness, love and respect, even if there was a small part of darkness in his heart.

Jim then smiled at him, "Good to meet ya as well. I feel like we will be nice friends." he returned the hand shake.

"If I may include myself," everyone turned to Sartorius walking towards them, "I want to welcome you in this event for our school. I may be just a freshman, but I feel like it would be important for an introduction. Wouldn't you agree?" asked Sartorius which made almost anyone not from The Society Of Light suspicious of him.

Jim looked at him. It was actually one of a kind seeing this man. Even though he was filled with Light, it was anything, but positive. This man was brimming with malicious intent as he would want nothing more than destruction for every living being on the planet. He then looked inside of him and saw a lonely boy placing hands on his head, screaming for freedom.

"I have to agree with Master Sartorius on this one, it won't be nice to exclude some of us, right?" asked Celina as Jim took a good look at her. It was interesting, sure, the same thing with the Light and her screaming for freedom in the back of her head, but this time, it felt more… genuine. It was the opposite of Jaden's. Where it was harsher, almost full with negativity and anger. She was the yin to Jaden's yang.

Jim then smiled at them, "Oh, of course. Sorry for all of that." said Jim as he then shook their hands as if to avoid suspicion, which worked for almost everyone.

David turned to his sister, Leo and Luna, "I don't trust those two. They seem fishy."

"I agree…they don't feel genuine." whispered Reggie.

"They are more fishy than an aquarium." agreed Leo.

"More like a sushi restaurant," said Luna.

Hassleberry then ran up to him, "HEY! Don't think about ignoring me! I am your opponent! Tyranno Hassleberry!"

Jim then turned around, "Oh sorry, mate. I didn't mea-" He then took a step backwards as he was blown away what he was seeing. That shocked everyone, including Sartorius. "Sorry for that reaction. But ya seem different from anyone else that it took me off guard."

"Huh? What does that mean?" asked Hassleberry.

"Well, it is nothing bad, trust me mate, but it is more that your being is… different. Actually different." said Jim as he looked up and down. "You are actually built different, it is like that you are a mix of both Dinosaur and human."

"Oh… OH! Yeah, don't worry about that, Private! It is actually because I have Dino DNA!" yelled Hassleberry as pretty much the entire population heard a record scratch.

"What?"

"Huh?"

"Excuse moi?"

"The fuck did my ears just hear?" said Leo, Luna, Reggie and David.

"What." said Jim as they were confused as well.

"Oh, long story short, I was picking up some fossils, a landslide came out of nowhere and snapped me leg in two! They had to use a bone from a dinosaur to fix that problem and ever since that day, I have Dino DNA!" yelled Hassleberry as they were looking at him like he just committed a crime.

"It is official, I am way too sober for this." said David as everyone nodded to that.

"Oh! You are the guy that I heard all about!" yelled Jim with a smile on his face.

"What do you mean by that, Private?" asked Hassleberry with a confused tone.

"Don't ya know? Ya are the talk of the year, mate! In the paleontology world, we constantly heard about rumours of a bloke that broke his leg and used up a fossil bone to become a part Dino. I never thought I would meet the Dino Boy here." said Jim as then Hassleberry blinked.

"Huh. So that means outside of Jim, Marik and I, Hassleberry is the most famous person on the island. Neat." said Aster as he blinked.

"I am… I am popular?! Oh that is amazing! I made it to the top, pappy!" Dino Boy yelled at the air as everyone sweatdropped hearing that.

"Anyways, enough with the introductions already. We will shortly have a duel in the Duel Arena inside of Duel Academy and the camera crew is shortly going to arrive, so let's get going." said Crowler as almost all of them began to walk to Duel Academy, but Jim raised a hand.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I have to go to the dunny." Jim sighed as he saw the weird looks, "The bathroom." everyone 'ahh'ed at that.

"Oh, well good luck, Jimbo, cause I am exc-"

"And ya are going with me, mate! Ya know, because I need directions." said Jim as he grabbed Jaden's shoulder as they were confused at that.

Chazz raised a brow, "You want the Slacker to be your guide? You have a better chance asking a blind guy and looking at a map backwards, but you do you." They began to walk away.

Jim smiled at Jaden which the boy confusedly nodded with the man as he got dragged to the bathroom.

In the bathroom, Jim, Jaden and Shirley were in the bathroom, with the Australian looking if anyone is spying on them before closing the door. "Sorry about that, mate." said Jim as he looked to see Jaden standing next to a faucet, almost leaning on it.

"About what, Jimbo?" asked Jaden as Jim walked a few meters away from Jaden and leaned on the wall.

"Well for dragging ya to the dunny." said Jim as Jaden 'ahh'ed.

"Ah, okay, that is alright, not the worst thing happened to me or when I was dragged into something." said Jaden as he remembered being kidnapped by 2 pirates last year and compared to Jim, he was way more relaxed than them ever could be.

"Good to know." said Jim as he then began to pet Shirley with a smile on his face. "Now, I know you have to be wondering why I chose to drag you to a dunny all alone. Am I right?" asked Jim as Jaden shrugged his shoulders.

"I dunno, is it because you need to go to the bathroom?" the boy asked as Jim chuckled at that.

"Not entirely. Look, I know that we just met, but I trust ya, mate." said Jim in an ominous tone that confused Jaden and kind of scared him.

"Uh… why is that?" Jaden was interested at what he was about to say.

"For 2 Reasons actually. 1, Shirley trusts ya," said Jim as Shirley then nodded at what he said. "Now, here is the thing about this sheila, she ain't trusting anyone when she first meets 'em. It took her at least a week for her to like my mates that you just met, but that was the shortest amount of time she has became friendly with someone that wasn't me. Then, you came along and she became friendly with ya the moment she saw ya." said Jim as Jaden widened his eyes.

Jaden looked at her for a moment, "I mean, I can kinda see that happening. She looks scary, but she is just like a massive dog." the Hero Duelist watched in amusement as she began to waggle her tail in excitement.

Jim chuckled at that, "More like a mix of a dog and cat, but I see yar comparison. The second reason is that… let's just say that I have an eye of good judgement of a person." said Jim as he then pointed a finger on his bandaged eye as Jaden looked at it with interest. "It lets me see how a person feels, their true feelings towards someone, their emotions, their thoughts, their anxieties and happiness. Their positive and negative vibes all in one."

"Ooooooooohhhhh. Actually, I am interested why you have that eye bandaged. Did you lose it in a war? Are you cosplaying as a mix of a cowboy and pirate?" asked Jaden as Jim laughed at that, but not in a disrespectful way.

"You are quite the comedian, aren't cha? No, it is more like… a long story." said Jim as he then pulled down his cowboy hat down, but then raised it upwards, "Don't worry, ya didn't insult me or trigger me, just… it is kind of a personal thing."

"Oh shoot, sorry dude." said Jaden as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Like I said, it is fine, ya just did not know." said Jim as he then looked at him with a warm smile on his face, "See? I am not angry. Let's just talk what I want to know, okay?" asked Jim as Jaden nodded, "Alright. Now, you don't have to answer it if ya don't want to, alright? If ya want to back out, then that is fine."

"No… It is cool. I can handle it." said Jaden as Jim nodded.

"That is good to know. Now, here it is: Do ya know what is happening in the School? More specifically at the two blokes that introduced themselves?" asked Jim as he didn't just break the ice, he shattered the iceberg as Jaden was looking at him completely caught off guard.

"I… Sorry, what?"

"Ya heard me. That long haired anemic looking bloke and the sheila with the indigo hair." said Jim with a narrowed eye. "What is up with them?"

"I… I- I don't know, I am being honest." said Jaden as he then looked at the ground, avoiding eye contact, "I- I really don't understand what is going on with the current events and I just… am kind of afraid, y'know? Of what will happen in the future? Y'know? At least I hope you do." said Jaden as he continued to look at the ground as Jim frowned and Shirley looked at him with a sad look on her face.

"The most I got from everyone around me is that they are possessed, practically, and I just. I don't know how to handle that. I want to help them out, but there is one side of me that tells me it is impossible." Jaden clenched the faucet he was leaning on as Jim can see the darkness begin to come out of his heart as he kept going, "I want to help them. Not just her, not just Aster's friend, not just me, but I want to help anyone. I want to help everyone around me, but I feel like that is impos-"

"Mate, I am sorry." Jim placed a hand on his shoulder as the boy stopped as he looked at the man in shock, "I didn't know it was bothering ya so much, and I apologize."

Jaden sighed, "It is cool, bro, but you understand where I am coming from, right?" he asked.

"Oh yeah. One day, when Shirley and I were playing good ol 'footy, I kicked the ball too hard which caused Shirley to run after it in upcoming traffic. At that moment, I felt like I could do nothing, but watch as a semi was going straight at her." began Jim as Shirley then raised her head at Jaden, "At first I thought I was going to lose cause I had no rellies, but something in me wanted to run after and help her. I ran after her and caught her, narrowly saving her."

Jaden looked at him in confusion, "Ah, that is a sweet story, Jim, but what does that have to do with anything?"

Jim smiled at him, "I am just trying to teach ya something, mate. That no matter how much a situation is shown that someone close to you will perish, there is always a way out of any situation for both yous to feel safe and come on top. If I didn't push meself, Shirley wouldn't be here right now and now, I couldn't be any happier."

"I… I never thought about that. I always thought about never giving up until the last card is played thing could only apply to Duel Monsters, but it seems that it can also apply to real life, huh?" Jaden chuckled himself at that.

"Well, ya learn something new every day and an important life lesson is always welcome, ain't it?" Jim saw him nodding with a smile on his face, "Now… you care for the sheila, don't you?"

Jaden grew a confused look on his face, "What? What kind of a question is that, Jim?! Of course I do! I want to save her as much as I can! I want to help her no matter what happens to her. I want her to feel safe…" Jaden's face dropped, but then he quickly got back up, "I will save her, no matter what."

"That is great to hear, mate cause I have good news for ya. She is still in there, waiting and screaming for freedom." Jaden looked at him, "Like I said, a good eye. Now, I ain't saying ya should go right now and ask her for a duel, no, I am trying to tell you that you should take time and prepare yourself. Just because ya think you are ready, doesn't mean you feel ready."

"I see…. thanks, Jim, you really are a cool dude." said Jaden as he then began to walk towards the door with a smile on his face. Jaden opened the door.

Right before he left the room, Jim yelled, "Just know that if ya need any help or saving, ya can always count on me, mate."

Jaden nodded. "I will keep that in mind."

Around The World

Around the world, people were getting ready to watch the annual school duel in Duel Academy at their television. Some were watching the show in a cafe like Yusei, Jack and Crow are doing once more, some were watching the upcoming duel at their apartment like Lulu, Yuto, Yugo, Rin and Shay and some were watching at any place that they could find.

In North Academy, Jesse Anderson kicked his feet up and placed them on a table, "Howie! I haven't been this excited since the rodeo with me ma' and pa' back home. Lucian, bring the popcorn buddy! Trevor, hope you got some drinks mah dude!" yelled Jesse as the two students walked towards their best student was excited like a kid during Christmas.

In an underground bar, a cloak covering up Hell Kaiser himself alongside Shroud as they ordered up espressos for the entertainment at the former's former school.

Sheppard was watching this duel on an airplane as he looked over to the dojo of his Cyber Arts, ready for his best student to return there for a duel.

In Misgarth, Prince Ojin was watching this duel as he looked over at his laptop as he was getting a call from Zigfried Von Schroeder.

A boy with silver hair and eyes, wearing red glasses and a red scarf, alongside beige coloured pants and blue shirt with a locket was watching the duel as he placed his hands under his chin as he watched with calculating eyes.

In apartment, a young woman was sitting on a couch, flicking through chanells as she was getting ready to watch some Turkish Dramas. She had pink eyes, long green hair that reached down to her hips as it was pointy around the edges, as she had yellow heart shaped earrings. She wore a long comfortable looking red sweater that showed off her shoulders that went down to her legs, which was paired up by pink boots and green leggings.

"Ahh, time to finally relax from college and my workplace. It feels good to finally get a break, as well as getting your brother to duel with his friends in the other room, nothing can stop me from watching some Turkish Dra-"

"Ageha! Ageha! Ageha!" Unfortunately, the universe can not say the same thing as Ageha watched as her younger brother was running towards her as well as his 3 friends beside him.

The boy had orange coloured hair at the front and blue at the back as it reached down to the point that he had pony tail with green eyes. He wore a white vest with a blue coloured jacket on top of that as he wore red pants with large purple and white shoes, "Ageha! Ageha!"

"What, Shouma?! I am trying to watch some Turkish Drama." said Ageha, already done with her brother.

"Can you switch the chanell to Dueling Network?! I heard that there will be a duel between Duel Academy and South Academy, so, ppllleeeaaaaseeeee." said Shouma excitedly.

Ageha sighed, "Sorry, but no Shouma. I can not do that."

"Ah! This harlot dares saying that?! Her heart must be filled with darkness on par with my own!" yelled the tallest boy, who is the most extra looking tween you have ever seen. He had green eyes, purple hair on the front, beige coloured hair on the back, as he wore a purple scarf, leather no sleeved shirt and pants with a very tiny leather glove. This boy is the equivalent of that one kid that always sits alone on the lunch table. "Don't fret, I, Dark Kuroda, will make sure that this-"

"Disgusting." said a girl with a look of killer as she slapped him so hard that he landed on the ground. She had long beige coloured hair that reached to her feet as at the start and end was green, with purple eyes. She wore a light green coloured dress and had a Marshmallon plushie on her at all times.

Dark Kuroda then rose up to his feet, "Light Tsukiko! Why would you harm your brother like that?!" Once Kuroda saw his younger sister glare at him once more, he dropped to his knees and crawled back to his feet.

"Bullied by your own sister? Couldn't be me." said the last kid. He was a rather fat kid with fat lips, short brown hair and eyes, as he wore a short sleeved jacket with lightning trimming, a white shirt that says 1900 and short brown pants.

"SHUT UP; STRONG!" yelled Kuroda as he was recovering from that punch.

"Come on, Ageha! Please… it is only once I ask you to do this!" Shouma begged his older sister for the remote.

"Why don't you just watch the duel at a different time tomorrow since there will be a rerun?" asked Ageha.

"Cause it won't be as excited and I don't want to get spoiled! You know that feeling as well!" yelled Shouma as Ageha sighed.

"Ugh, fine. You can watch this duel, but no more begging next year, alright?" asked Ageha as the group of middle schoolers nodded as they then jumped on the couch to watch this duel immense.

Right now, Shirley was in the Duel Arena, making every camera man praying to every God that they are at their Mercy. At one side, it was South Academy, all cheering for Jim to win the duel for them while on the other side, those who weren't in the Society of Light, cheered for Hassleberry to win the duel. The Society Of Light were in the middle.

Crowler was then in the Duel Arena cause he was the only one with balls heavy enough to get on the same platform as a crocodile. "Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! DUEL FANS ACROSS THE WORLD! I hope you are ready for this spectacular duel cause this school duel will be no other!" Most of the students cheered for what is going to happen.

"This school year will not feature North Academy like last year, but it will instead be South Academy, led by no other than Marik Melvin Ishtar!" yelled Crowler on a speaker phone as the audience erupted in cheers as Marik waved to all of his fans out there, "This also has the premier of not a Slifer Red or an Obelisk Blue, but rather a Ra Yellow!"

Crowler gripped his hands as he then began to yell, "Now, let's get ready to rumble! On the blue corner, we have the human that destroyed biology itself, the boy that has the might of a dinosaur, but the body of a human! Here comes the human that evolves with every duel he is a part of! GIVE IT UP FOR TYRANNO HASSLEBERRY!" roared Crowler as Hassleberry then began to walk out of the arena, waving his hands towards everyone.

"And then on the red corner, we have the man that broke every possible limitation, the man with a scholarship of several fossil schools when he was just a kid, the man that can easily carry a crocodile on his back, the man whose strength is unmatched as he picks a part every part of the duel! GIVE IT UP FOR JIM CROCODILE COOK!" yelled Crowler as then as soon as Jim walked out of the arena, South Academy errupted in cheers, as the Australian man walked out of the Arena and began to walk on the podium.

"So, soldier, are you ready to drop and give me 50?" asked Hassleberry as he got his duel disk out.

"Please, I will beat ya so hard that your dino pals will meet ya, mate," said Jim as he got out his duel disk, which looked like a boomerang.

"ARE THE DUELISTS READY?!" Roared Crowler as the two duelists nodded, "LET THE DUEL… COMMENCE!" Crowler then jumped straight at the Duel Academy's stand, not wanting to be close to Shirley.

"DUEL!"

Turn 1.

"I will start!" yelled Hassleberry as he looked at his newly drawn 6 card hand as he frowned as the hand wasn't that good, but still, it wasn't bad as he had one combo ready for this turn. "Archeonys is reporting to duty!" Dino Boy roared as he slammed the card on his duel disk as then the monster appeared on the field.

On his field appeared an Archaeopteryx. It was a massive bird combined with a dinosaur, as the feathers of the wings were yellow as the wings themselves were blue, as the monster had a massive blue feathered tail with sharp 3 finger talons and a yellow beak. It landed on the field as it screeched hard against his new opponent.

(Archeonys: Level 3 - Wind Winged Beast - Attack: 300. Defense: 1300.)

Now, normally summoning a monster with low stars and a low level means that it has a decent effect as Jim was silent looking at that monster. He had a smirk on his face as no matter what monster he summons, all of them will be useful to him once they go in the graveyard.

"Now, it may not look strong, but I have a way of making it stronger! Which means I activate New Ultra Evolution! This card tributes 1 of my Winged Beast soldiers like my Archeonys," on Hassleberry's field disappeared his lone monster as then he took another card from his hand, "So I can instead summon one of my Dino soldiers from my hand! Like my Dark Driceratops!"

On his field appeared a triceratops, as it was a massive dinosaur that was taller than all of the duelists, as it had moss green skin and fur, with large brown wings and a mane that of a lion, as it had purple claws and at the end of the monster, with a yellow beak on its face. The monster screeched once it was summoned.

(Dark Driceratops: Level 6 - Earth Dinosaur - Attack: 2400. Defense: 1500.)

"Oh? Dinosaurs, eh? I shoulda seen that one coming, what with ya having Dino DNA." said Jim as Hassleberry raised a brow while everyone in TV raising their interest hearing that.

"So you are excited to duel one me monsters?" asked Hassleberry as Jim laughed.

"Are ya kidding? I'm stoked! Dinosaurs are actually one of my favourite creatures, mate, second only to crocodiles." Jim fixed his hat, "A matter of fact, did you know that crocodiles and dinosaurs share a common ancestor, so by that logic, Shirley and Hassleberry are cousins."

Shirley and Hassleberry then looked at each other after hearing that in confusion, but only the sheila looked happy to finally meet her cousin.

"Huh… I have a lot of catching up to do with my family." Hassleberry turned his attention away form his cousin, but to his opponent, "Well whatever. I will throw down a face down and call it a turn." a card was set vertically behind his Dark Driceratops.

Turn 2. Jim - 4000 lp - 5 cards

"Alright, it is my go!" Jim drew the top card of his deck as he then looked at his hand. While the hand was good in fact, there was an issue with that he has no way of sending a card to the graveyard so he could play one of his favourite spell cards, but that does not mean he can not play a card.

"I will start off by playing this good ol card, Double Summon! Thanks to this card, I can normal summon 2 monsters!" said Jim as then he took a card from his hand and slammed it on his duel disk, "Now, meet one of my favourite mates! Weathering Soldier!"

On his field first appeared a couple of stones that then began to morph. As then, a blue liquid began to grow out of the floating rocks as they began to form feet, rip cages, horns and fingers in the colours of rather old looking rocks while the ones that covered the feet, hips, shoulders and arms looked rather new as they were more shiny.

(Weathering Soldier: Level 4 - Earth Rock - Attack: 2000. Defense: 1200.)

"A level 4 with that high of an attack?" asked Sora as he then got out a bag with marshmallows. "There has to be a downside, no way a monster can have that high of an attack."

"I think that is the least of his problems." Ray crossed his arms.

"Now, this one might bring ya to a loop, mate, cause I am about to deal a ton of damage with this one! Come out, Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo!" yelled Jim as on his field appeared a monster that like that of a raptor, but was actually a Pachycephalosaurus. The monster had a massive head ready for headbutting monsters, as the legs were strong enough to run a marathon with spikes all over his monster with an arrow like tail at the end of it.

(Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo: Level 4 - Earth Rock - Attack: 1200. Defense: 1300.)

"Oh no…" Yusuke widened his eyes.

"Welp, he is doomed." said Celina as she crossed her arms.

"Agreed." The Society of Light agreed with her.

"Pff… am I supposed to be afraid of those monsters? They don't even come close to my Dark Driceratops!" Hassleberry taunted before laughing straight at Jim's face after seeing those monsters, but the man kept his composure.

"Well, gee I don't know, mate, tell me, is activating the effect of Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo to destroy all Special Summoned monsters once it is summoned something to scoff at?" asked Jim as Hassleberry stopped laughing as he then turned to Jim in horror.

"Pardon?"

"Ya heard me mate! Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo destroys your Dark Driceratops! Rocky Headbutt!" roared Jim as he pointed a finger at Dark Driceratops as the monster then charged ahead towards the massive dinosaur monster as Dark Driceratops countered it by running straight towards it as well, but its head was cracked the moment Pachycephalo headbutted it, making it fall to the ground, "Not to mention, we can't Special Summon monsters as long as this guy is on the field!"

"WHAT?!" Hassleberry's mouth was wide open. This man just countered his entire deck in a matter of seconds just by summoning one monster. Not to mention, his entire deck was sealed as he needs to find a way to summon a monster without special summoning it.

"Let's see what ya are made out of! Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo, attack this bloke! Forehead Fossil Force!" Jim ordered as then the monster roared as it sped straight towards Hassleberry at the force of a bullet and did a headbutt straight at his ribs, nearly cracking them, but he held on.

Hassleberry: 4000 - 2800 lp

Jim: 4000 lp

"Now, allow my Weathering Soldier to attack! Wind Slash Attack!" yelled Jim as then his favourite level 4 monster stretched out its muscles as it then winded up its fist in a speeding motion as then he threw out a punch straight towards Hassleberry, but the boy was ready.

"Not so fast, I activate Amber Pitfall!" Hassleberry's lone set card was then revealed as it was one of the earliest cards that he has shown to the crew this year. "When one of my enemy's platoon attacks, I can negate that attack and switch it in defense mode! The best part? You can not change the battle position."

As then from the sky appeared a massive bucket as then an orange liquid that was that of honey began to rain down on Weathering Soldier as the fist stopped a second too late as then it was then switched into defense mode.

"Bloody 'ell, nice save there, mate. With that, I can deal ya more damage. I end me turn with that, but Weathering Soldier has a downside. During the End Phase of my turns, it loses 600 attack points." said Jim as then his Weathering Soldier got even weaker.

Turn 3. Hassleberry - 2800 lp - 2 cards

Hassleberry slapped his forehead, "I can't believe some snot nose punk just managed to stop my entire deck with a single monster! This is an outrage! I feel like I lost all of the bullets to my gun!" yelled Hassleberry as then he sighed. He looked at his hand and frowned.

He had a Trap card that would've worked in order to summon a Dino from hand, but thanks to a certain monster, it was impossible and the other was a monster that could've honestly have helped during this moment of his duel, but nope, impossible. Though, it was not all bad, he had monsters in his deck that was perfectly suited for taking them out.

"It is my turn! I draw!" yelled Hassleberry as then he drew the top card of his deck. He looked at it with a smirk on his face, "Alright! This will be the best part of this entire duel! Souleating Oviraptor is reporting to duty!" yelled Hassleberry as he summoned the monster he just drew onto his field.

On his field appeared an Oviraptor. It had a slick and slender figure as it had black marking all over the entire body as it had dark blue skin with blue fire coming out of its small volcano head on its head as it then began to reach down its neck as its hands were on fire, while the head, arms, end of the tail and legs were dark red.

(Souleating Oviraptor: Level 4 - Dark Dinosaur - Attack: 1800. Defense: 500.)

"When this commanding officer is summoned on the field, I can take one of its peeps and either add it to my hand or send it to my graveyard, and I will decide to add it!" a card popped out of Hassleberry's deck as then he took it from it and then showed it to everyone. "I decide to add my Mighty Dino King Rex!"

Jim whistled. "Ahh I get what you are doing, mate, smart move adding that monster." Jim then placed his hands on his hips, "It is interesting that ya decided to summon an Oviraptor. It does bare resemblance to a Pachycephalosaurus."

":.. huh?"

Jim chuckled at that, "Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo." Everyone 'ahh'ed at that, "And ya claim yourself as a Dinosaur expert."

"We-Well, there is still time to attack! Ya monster is hitting the grave with this one! Souleating Oviraptor attacks ya monster! Soul Headbutt!" yelled Hassleberry as then the monster roared as well as Pachycephalo roared as the two then began to charge each other, ready to see who is the best headbutter, as the two monsters clashed, creating a small shockwave, pushing everyone with the exception of Jim.

Which was ironic, since his monster was the one that was dominating as the monster was walking with their heads attached to each other, while Souleating Oviraptor was being pushed back, as then its eyes began to glow blue as the entire head was then englufed in blue flames as then he fully pushed Pachycephalo off balance as then he charged straight at the monster, killing it as the attack landed on its neck.

Hassleberry: 2800 lp

Jim: 4000 - 3400 lp

"HA! How you like that punk?!" Hassleberry laughed as Jim brushed the dust out of his shoulder. He then noticed Jim grinning.

"Very much, mate. Thanks for doing that." said Jim as Hassleberry blinked.

"Uhhhh… what do you mean by that?" Dino Boy asked.

Jim could only look at him, "You will see soon enough." the man said ominously.

"Oh… he has no idea what he just did." said David with a smirk on his face.

"Looks like he is about to meet his ancestors." said Reggie as she leaned in.

Hassleberry then shook his head. It was nothing, he was just bluffing. He took a card from his hand, "I end mah turn with a card face down." said Hassleberry as a card was then set vertically behind Souleating Oviraptor.

Turn 4. Jim - 3400 lp - 3 cards

"I don't understand." said Syrus as they looked at him in confusion.

"Understand what, Sy?" asked Jaden as he looked at his best friend.

"Why does he look unbothered even though he lost one of his best monsters? Why did he even look happy that one of his best monsters is in the graveyard?" asked Syrus as he turned to them as that was an interesting question.

"Well, think of this. Most decks and duelists specialize in hand or field, but there are cases of a duelist using the graveyard as their specialty." said Aster as he narrowed his eyes at Jim.

"Like me for example. I use Lightsworn as a deck and that deck is a love letter to the graveyard." Yusuke then looked at Honest with a happy smile on his face.

"So maybe he just pops off whenever his monsters are in the graveyard." said Ray as he leaned backwards.

"My turn. I draw." said Jim as he drew the top card of his deck. He then turned to his school and nodded with a smirk on his face.

"He drew the card? Well… Crowler's candidate is going to have a living nightmare." said Marik as he leaned in and placed hands under his chin.

That was unsettling as Celina narrowed her eyes at both Jim and Marik at the same time as then he placed the card in his hand, "Alrighalrigh, I will start of me turn by summoning this champ. Shell Knight!"

On his field appeared a different looking monster. It was a monster filled with sea shells, as they were at his feet, legs and arms as their mouths were open as it had barnacle shells on its back and head and red moldy skin around his legs and feet.

(Shell Knight: Level 4 - Earth Rock - Attack: 0. Defense: 2000.)

"What is he going to do to me? Be on my plate for some sushi and then I eat it?" asked Hassleberry with a grin.

"Ya really need to learn not to underestimate me monsters, mate, as this fella deals ya 500 points of damage whenever he is normal summoned and switches to defense mode!" yelled Jim as Hassleberry had his mouth hanging as then one of the clams were then shot out straight from its mouth and attacked the Dino Boy, making him stammer.

Hassleberry: 2800 - 2300 lp

Jim: 3400 lp

"Ah! Ya' jerk!" yelled Hassleberry as he covered his side from that attack.

"Sorry, mate, but alls well in war." Hassleberry widened his eyes as the man stole his shtick! "Now, I hope ya don't mind if I play my signature card! Me favourite card of all time! Fossil Fusion!"

"Fossil-"

"Fusion?" began Skye as Alexis finished that.

"Fossil what now?" Hassleberry questioned.

"And ya call yarself a Dinosaur expert? First the Ovi, then this? Why ya shoulda be ashamed!" Hassleberry gritted his teeth as Jim began to explain his card's effect, "Fossil Fusion allows me to take 1 of me monsters and your monsters from your graveyard and merged them together!"

As then, the remains of Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo and Archyeons appeared beside them, "I excaveta the remains of your Archyeons with my Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo to merge into a stronger Fossil!" the two fossils then began to move straight towards each other as they smashed into each other. "From the depths of the Earth, comes a warrior of whom shatters the bones of his enemies! I Fusion Summon! Fossil Warrior Skull Bone!"

From the remains of the two monsters, came out a monster. It was a monster, more like a skeleton, as it was that of a monster looking human. It had dried out bones as the arms were shaped that of a dinosaur, with red claws on its toes, sharp edges, short bone tail and underneath the armour was a whiter coloured bone structure with the right arm being that of a spear.

(Fossil Warrior Skull Bone: Fusion - Level 4 - Earth Rock - Attack. 2000. Defense: 800.)

"Okay… that is a new type of summoning." said Sora as he dropped his bag out of pure shock.

"That… is the-"

"Sweetest thing ever!" Unknown to both Jaden and Jesse, they both said the same sentence together at the same tone.

"Well I be a monkey's uncle. Who knew you can mix and match fossils like that?" asked Hassleberry with awe in his eyes.

Jim scoffed, but not in a mean way, "Obviously, ya never took Intro To Archaeological Dueling. Unearthing Fossils is lesson 1," sighed Jim in a nostalgic tone as he remembered being in South Academy for the first time and he first sat in his seat to hear about the course, "I like that course so much, I took it twice. Got an A in both times, but yall can probably tell."

"That course destroyed my sleeping schedule and he aced it twice." moped Leo as David looked at him.

"I heard that he is planning on going to that course again." said David as Reggie rolled her eyes.

"He is a different breed." said Luna as the quartet nodded with that.

"Wow, we met a bigger nerd than you." Chazz turned to Bastion as The Golden Eggwich of Ra sighed at that.

"Well, it is enough with the stalling and now with the battling! Fossil Warrior Skull Bone attacks and destroys Souleating Oviraptor! Eternal Fang!" Jim ordered his monster as then Skull Bone then charged straight at Souleating Oviraptor as the monster breathed hot blue fire straight at the monster, but Skull Bone performed an upwards slash, cutting the fire into two as then he charged at the Dinosaur and slashed it into pieces.

Hassleberry: 2300 - 2100 lp

Jim: 3400 lp

"Here is a tidbit of me Skull Bone, he can attack twice!" yelled Jim as they realized that if this attack connects, then this will make Hassleberry live with a total of 100 life points.

"Oh heck no! You may be book smart, but this ain't something from a text book! I play Hunting Instinct!" Hassleberry's lone set card revealed itself, "When a Dino I control is destroyed by battle or card effect, I can special summon one of my soldiers from my hand. And I know just the one! Mighty Dino King Rex!" Then a small explosion happeneed as from it, came out a dragon.

The dragon had 2 massive, spiky wings that were purple and red as the monster flew down and showed that it was a combination of both a dinosaur and a dragon. The monster had 2 heads as it had sharp teeth, red eyes, claws and spikes coming out of its head as the back of it was purple and the front was red as it reached down. The Dinosaur had 2 spiky massive tails at the back of the dragon, with sharp orange claws as it went downwards to see the spike of the dragon/dino combo.

"Woah! Gotta be honest, mate, haven't seen a monster this huge since me last duel against David." said Jim as he fixed his hat with a smile on his face.

"Of course it is, son! This bad boy is the leading officer of my deck! Not a soul can touch it!" yelled Hassleberry as Jim smirked.

"We will see about that one, mate. I set a card and call it a turn," behind Fossil Warrior Skull Bone, Weathering Soldier and Shell Knight a card was then set vertically.

Turn 5. Hassleberry - 2100 lp - 1 card

"Alright, ya might have the advantage in terms. A strong monster, a decent defense and a higher life points." said Hassleberry as then he smiled while he looked at his hand, "But… that don't mean none when you are dueling me! Ya got that!? I still have more cards in me deck and I am not done! I draw!" yelled Hassleberry as he then drew the top card of his deck.

He looked at it as then he nodded as he then played the newly drawn card, "I play my Spell card, Ground Xeno! WIth this, I can add 1 Tuner Dino or a normal monster from my deck to my hand," a card popped out of his graveyard as he then took it, "I will add my Sabersaurus. Next up, I have to destroy a card in me hand."

One of his cards bursts into flames as then the card popped out of his graveyard, "Mah Babyceratops then activates an effect, once it is destroyed in any way, I can special summon 1 Level 4 or lower Dinosaur monster from my deck straight to my field!" a card popped out of his deck as he then took it, "Giant Rex, reporting to duty!"

On his patroon appeared a recognizible dinosaur monster. It was a rather small dinosaur compared to Bayerock Dragon, as the monster's scales was brown scales and skin, as it had sharp teeth and claws as it had a massive green spine as his tail was both green and brown at the same time.

(Giant Rex: Level 4 - Earth Dinosaur - Attack: 2000. Defense: 1200.)

"A level 4 monster with that high of attack points? Mate, ya impressed me." said Jim as he smiled at him.

"Thank ya, Private, but ya shouldn't thank your enemy when they are about to wipe the floor with you! I will then summon the monster I just have! Come out, Sabersaurus!" yelled Hassleberry as then another monster appeared on his field, another soldier he was ready to use in this war.

On his field appeared a massive triceratops. It was a red triceratops with yellow pupils with red eyes as it had a green tongue, with sharp claws on its legs as there were claws on its head, body and even on the tail. The monster roared in power.

(Sabersaurus: Level 4 - Earth Dinosaur - Attack: 1900. Defense: 500.)

"3 powerful monsters in one turn?!" Luna gasped seeing that as Reggie bit her lip seeing that.

"Ahh yes! With this if all goes well, that man is about to meet his end!" cheered Syrus as did most of Duel Academy.

"Private Truesdale is correct! Listen here Private! This monster is about to give you one hell of a battle! My Mighty Dino King Rex has an ability that will shock you to death! You see, during the turn that it wasn't summoned on, I can target 2 monsters on ya field and destroy them!" yelled Hassleberry as most of them gasped hearing that.

Jim clicked his tongue, "This ain't gonna be pretty."

"Ya got that right! I am about to blow your whole operation right here and now! Mighty Dino Breath!" roared Hassleberry as the monster then shot out two sets of purple fire straight towards Jim's two monsters which were Shell Knight and Weathering Soldier, which then created a small explosion.

Hassleberry smiled at this. Sure, if this connects, his Giant Rex wouldn't be able to get an attack against him, but that really does not matter. If this connects, he would use his Mighty Dino King Rex to destroy Skull Bone, which would deal 1200 points of damage and then he would attack directly for game and even if that does not connect, he would be able to beat him by using his Sabersaurus to beat him with a single direct attack. It was full proof-

"Mate, ya have no idea how much ya helped me." said Jim with a smile on his face.

"Huh? Whadya mean by that?" asked Hassleberry as Jim laughed.

"Well, ya see, both of me mates have effects that only activate once they are destroyed," they widened their eyes hearing that, "Weathering Soldier allows me to add Fossil Fusion from me deck," a card popped out of his deck as he then took it as then another card popped out of his deck, "Shell Knight allows me to add 1 Level 8 Rock monster from me deck, but if I have Fossil Fusion in me grave, I am allowed to special summon it! Come out, Primineral Kongreat!"

On his field appeared a brand new monster that shook everyone. It was a massive gorilla with dark black fur with red eyes. Its size made Mighty Dino King Rex look like a small salamander, as the fur was covered up by massive black minerals that was like armour for the massive monster. Once it was summoned, it beat its chest.

(Primineral Kongreat: Level 8 - Earth Rock - Attack: 3000. Defense: 2000.)

"Huh… never saw that monster before." said Reggie in shock.

"That's because I got this fella in a booster pack and I decided to add it. I also have another one and let's see if I can add that mate as well." said Jim as Hassleberry mentally cursed in his head.

"Dang it… I can't win this turn… but still. I am able to deal a lot of damage! Mighty Dino King Rex attacks and destroys your massive monkey!"

"It is a gorilla, mate. Don't ya know your biology at this point?"

"Whatever! Your gorilla is toast! Mighty Breath!" yelled Hassleberry as the monster then began to open up its two maws as then fire and ice began to form inside of them, quickly building up power as it begins to grow in size and in power as then it was shot at the same time, first freezing Kongreat's legs and then burning up the top part of its body, creating a small explosion.

Hassleberry: 2100 lp

Jim: 3400 - 3200 lp

"Then! My Mighty Dino King Rex can attack once more once it destroys a monster by battle!" explained Hassleberry as Jim sighed.

"Well shoot."

"Shoot indeed! Cause mah monster will shoot your warrior into pieces! Mighty Breath!" yelled Hassleberry as then Mighty Dino King Rex opened up its two maws as then from it began to form green energy and then lightning as they began to grow in size around each other to create the perfect attack as the two beams were then shot straight ahead, creating a small explosion.

Hassleberry: 2100 lp

Jim: 3200 - 2000 lp

"He is almost at the finish line." said Jaden with a smile on his face.

"Key Word: Almost. Giant Rex can not attack directly." Ray slightly frowned.

"I learned that the hard way." said Sora, still bitter of the fact that he got tricked like that.

"Sabersaurus will now attack ya directly! Double Impact!" yelled Hassleberry as then Sabersaurus then charged straight ahead at him with the speed of a truck and the force of one as well. It was so hard that Jim fell on his butt.

Hassleberry: 2100 lp

Jim: 2000 - 100 lp

Jim then noticed Shirley growling which made Crowler jump in Bonaparte's arms who looked at him with a confused look. "Calm down, Shirley! Everything is alright! This bloke hasn't seen me go serious yet, all is good." said Jim as then they were concerned. This was him… Not going full out?!

Hassleberry shook his head, "I end my turn there. No matter what ya do, I will be alive and kicking!" yelled Hassleberry as Jim then stood up.

"We will see about that."

Turn 6. Jim - 100 lp - 2 cards

"Gotta be honest, mate, ya have impressed me so far, but I will say this, ya have not seen anything from what I have in me deck! I draw!" yelled Jim as he then drew the top card of his deck as he then looked at his newly drawn card with a smirk on his face. "This won't do much, but still…"

"I activate Specimen Inspection! By discarding 1 card from me hand and by revealing 1 Fossil Fusion from my hand, I can decide 1 Type and Level and if ya have it, ya gotta discard it," Jim took a card from his hand, which was his Sample Fossil as he then revealed his Fossil Fusion. Jim then pointed at his opponent, "I choose a Level 8 Dinosaur monster in yar deck!"

Hassleberry widened his eyes as then he realized his strategy, as he did not want him to get to his strongest monster in his deck early, but there is a positive for him to shorten his deck smaller. Tho about Fossil Fusion… Hassleberry shook his head as he took the card that popped out of his deck as he then revealed it, "I pick mah Ultimate Tyranno!" he said as he discarded the card to his graveyard.

"Judging by his move, he wanted a strong monster in his graveyard in order to Fusion Summon into a stronger monster… Interesting strategy." said Celina as she had to admit, he was extremely good with other duelist's and how they work with their decks.

"Mate, what y'all have seen is just a smidge of what I truly possess. Sure, Fossil Fusion is my favourite card in me deck, but it ain't the main combo piece of me deck." said Jim as they widened hearing that.

"It isn't?!" Chazz gasped as then a card shined inside of his graveyard.

"By banishing from my graveyard, my Fossil Warrior Skull Bone allows me to add 1 Time Stream from my deck!" yelled Jim as he took the card from his graveyard and then placed it in his pocket as a card popped out of his deck as he then took it. He then revealed it to everyone as they watched in interest.

"Time Stream? What do you think it can do?" Syrus turned to everyone else, but they were just as confused as he was.

"Sorry, but no. We will just see what Jim has in store." said Yusuke as then they noticed the grin on South Academy's faces. "And thanks to them… it will be bad."

"Welp, Dino Boy is toast." said David as they agreed to the Machina Duelist.

"First off, I will play my favourite Spell card once more! Fossil Fusion! I excavate from me graveyard my Shell Knight," On Jim's side of the field appeared a fossil holding the remains and the destroyed clams of Shell Knight, "and from yar graveyard the Level 6 Dark Driceratops in order to Fusion Summon one of me stronger mates!" The remains of Dark Driceratops appeared beside Hassleberry as they combined into each other.

Jim began to chant, "Come along and see the evolution of the Cenozoic Warrior into the more advance chivalrous Menozoic Knight! I Fusion Summon! Fossil Warrior Skull Knight!" from the remains of when the two skeletons crashed into each other, a body appeared on the field, as the monster revealed himself as a skeleton Jim's height, but he wore older bone armour around his knees, arms and shoulders, as well as carrying a helmet and shield, with a sword in hand and a blue cape.

(Fossil Warrior Skull Knight: Fusion - Level 6 - Earth Rock - Attack: 2400. Defense: 1100.)

They were surprised to see a monster like that in his arsenal, but they were disappointed in the fact that it looked… boring compared to the others.

"Sorry, Private, but I gotta say this. Ya monster wouldn't scare off a little wannabe soldier on his first day. It looks like any ol' skeleton!" yelled Hassleberry as they agreed with him for once.

Jim… chuckled at that. "Well… to each their own I suppose, am I correct? Especially since this is just the middle evolution." said Jim as that caught most of their attention.

"Like Pokemon?" asked Jaden with a tilted head.

Jim laughed, "Sure, mate. Think of it as Pokemon. Ya see here, me Fossil monsters have three stages that are references to Earth's Geologic periods. Cenozoic, Mesozoic and Paleozoic, with the Ceno being the most recent while the Paleozoic being the oldest one. Most of the time, I have to fuse other monsters to get one of my strongest beasts, however, there is a way of getting the stronger ones…"

"Oh… How?" Hassleberry gulped as soon as he saw Jim grin.

"By evolving them up, mate! That is the best way to show off their potential! I activate my Time Stream!" Jim yelled as Shirley began growling, but not anything against him, but for him. "I target one of me mates and I tribute it…" Skeleton Knight became a rubble of bones as soon as his soul left his soul.

A card then popped out of his Extra Deck, "So I can Special Summon a monster from my Extra Deck whose original Level is 2 Levels higher than the tributed monster!" Jim then began to chant, "The Mesozoic Warrior evolves into a Paleozoic Warrior whose dominance has given him the title of King! I Fusion Summon! Fossil Warrior Skull Knight!"

Then from the rubble of bones, they began to float above as they began to combine once more, but this time, combining into a monster that is worthy of the title of King. It was a massive monster that is taller than anyone in the Duel Arena, as the monster's muscles were really well developed as the armour of this beast was that of old dinosaur bones as it covered his entire body as he had dinosaur like claws, with spikes on his shoulders, spikes on his head with a massive blue cape and a sword in hand.

(Fossil Warrior Skull King: Fusion Level 8 - Earth Rock - Attack: 2800. Defense: 1300.)

The popcorn in Jesse's hands was dropped as he looked at the monster in awe as he never seen a monster sweeter than that, except for his Crystal Beasts of course. Everyone else were in for a surprise at Jim's strongest monster was a monster that could give even Hassleberry's strongest monsters the business.

"See this mate? This is one of me strongest monsters. A monster that I am proud to announce as one of my strongest monsters." said Jim as it shocked everyone as this was not even his strongest monster as he looked back to see Shirley being calm which relived him.

"Before ya say anything about it being weaker," Jim said as he perfectly predicted his opponent as a card popped out of his graveyard as he then took it, "I banish from my graveyard my Fossil Warrior Skull Knight in order to do this! Your Mighty Dino King Rex will fall to the real King! Royalty Slash!"

Fossil Warrior Skull King then gripped his sword as it then began to glow into a blue aura as then Fossil Warrior Skull Knight appeared beside him to fuse into the blade. The sword then glew into a brighter shade of blue as then he performed a crescent shaped slash straight ahead the Dinosaur monster, destroying it.

"No way!"

"He just made light work of one of his best monsters!"

"He is toast!"

"Looks like they were not able to predict that from Jim." said Reggie with a smirk on her face.

"I don't think anyone can ever predict Jim in a duel." said Leo as Luna then looked at the field.

"I am sorry, but am I the only one realizing something? Why didn't Jim activate the graveyard effect of Fossil Fusion?" They turned to Luna in confusion. "What I mean is that when a Fossil monster is destroyed, he can just revive that card back into his hand and activate it right now to summon another monster. So why is he not doing that?"

They then looked back at Jim as then, David widened his eyes, "Oh dear gosh…".

"PSH! As if something like that can ever harm me!" yelled Hassleberry as he looked at Jim, "Once your turn ends, I will send you home back to Austria!" he yelled as Jim sighed at that.

"It is Australia, mate. Did you fail geography as well?" Jim asked, earning a couple of laughs from the crowd as Hassleberry rolled his eyes, "Well, mate, I will like to see what ya got. However… let's go with this! Fossil Warrior Skull King has an effect! He can attack twice per turn!"

"Oh no…" said Hassleberry, instantly knowing what will happen next.

"Time for a little fun! Fossil Warrior Skull King attacks ya monsters with King Swordplay 1 and 2!" yelled Jim as then his Fossil Warrior Skull King then roared in power as then he charged at them and in a blink of an eye, he slashed Giant Rex's head clean off as then he turned around to pierce through Sabersaurus' body with his sword.

After he was done, he walked towards his master and glared at Hassleberry.

Hassleberry: 2100 - 1300 - 400 lp

Jim: 100 lp

"I call it a turn… now, let's see what ya got there, mate!" yelled Jim as Hassleberry looked at him with narrowed eyes.

"Oh I will show ya…"

Turn 7. Hassleberry - 400 lp - 0 cards

"I will show ya to never underestimate a soldier! Even when he practically has no more ammo!" yelled Hassleberry as he realized what kind of danger he is in. He had no cards in hand, no monsters on his side of the field and was living with a thread of his life. He breathed in and out.

If he does not get a good card in this turn, then that means that he will lose the duel and that means-

That means-

"NO" Jim was taken aback as he saw Hassleberry's eyes turned like of a Dinosaur as he then smirked seeing that, interested in what he was seeing with his eye. "I ain't losing to someone like you! You hillbilly will get a thrashing! Ya understand?!" yelled Hassleberry as then his eyes returned back to normal. "I DRAW!" Dino Boy yelled as he drew the top card of his deck.

He looked at it and nodded, "I play the Spell card Spell Book From The Pot! This card gives both parties the ability to draw 3 cards from their deck!" yelled Hassleberry as he and Jim refreshed their hands with a new hand. Hassleberry looked at his hand with a wide smirk on his face.

"Awright! I summon mah Dyna Base!" yelled Hassleberry. On his field appeared a base with a running treadmill in the front as it had mechanical hands around the middle part of the monster with a crawler on one of its sides as the monster had a red and silver colouring scheme.

(Dyna Base: Level 4 - Earth Machine - Attack: 0. Defense: 2100.)

Sora then grinned, "Oh heck yes, he is in a world of hurt with that one." said Sora as Hassleberry then threw his hand out.

"I activate the effect of my soldier's effect! I can tag team it and a Dino from my hand in order to summon into a stronger soldier from my Extra Deck!" Hassleberry took a card from his hand, "I will pick my Transcendosaurus Meteorus so one of my strongest monsters will now report to duty!" On his field appeared the meteor that decimated the Dinosaurs as they began to swirl around each other as they turned into red and green data.

Hassleberry began to chant, "The Meteor that killed the Dinosaurs! Mixes with the appearance of a machine in order to become the front line of the army! I Fusion Summon! Dyna Tank!" On his field appeared a powerful monster.

The first part of it was a dinosaur. It had molten lava skin with the skin being that of obsidian and the base of the monster being that of hot lava as the scales were that of bones. The eyes were yellow as the breath was hotter than the Sun. The second part was a tank that had a massive wheel on the bottom of it with the tank being silver and red with spikes on the top and bottom of it. The monster roared in power.

(Dyna Tank: Fusion - Level 7 - Earth Dinosaur - Attack: ?. Defense: 2100.)

Leo's mouth was wide open as he saw one of the coolest monsters he has ever seen, Sorano grinned seeing a combination of his friend's 2 coolest looking monsters as Duel Academy, the ones that weren't in the Society Of Light, were cheering for Hassleberry to win the duel.

"Okay… That is a powerful looking monster." said Skye as they agreed with her.

"So cool!" yelled Jesse with a wide smile on his face. Declan looked at it with narrowed eyes and then looked back at Jim and saw that the man was anything, but nervous, which meant that the set card he will play a role in this turn.

"Nice on, mate! I guess I am not the only one that can fuse Dinosaurs into one, huh?" asked Jim as Hassleberry rubbed his nose.

"Nah, ya ain't and this one will be the end of ya! You see, when my monster is reporting to duty, Dyna Tank gains the amount that it's Dinosaur part originally had! Transcendosaurus Meteorus had a grand total of 3500 destructive attack points, which means that it gains a total of…"

"3500?" Marik widened his eyes in shock.

Dyna Tank: ? - 3500 attack points

"Oh heck yes! One attack left and Jim is about to go home packing!" yelled Sorano as he was excited to see Duel Academy win this year.

"I won, Private! This one is going to be one for the victory of Duel Academy, ya got that!?" yelled Hassleberry as Jim narrowed his eye at that. Hassleberry smirked at that as he then threw a hand straight at him, "Dyna Tank! Finish this! Attack with all that you got! Dino Missile!" yelled Hassleberry.

Dyna Tank, before it even shot the missile, used the Dinosaur part of the body to move to the missile and breathe hot lava at the missile specifically to get it as hot as possible as then, it began to morph into a hot lava coated missile as then it was shot straight towards Fossil Warrior Skull King as when it made contact, the bones began to melt as the monster roared in agony as it then exploded, creating a massive explosion.

"He did it!"

"Hassleberry won!"

"Well done!"

Marik on the other hand stared at the explosion with narrowed eyes. "If I know one thing about Jim and that is… never count him out."

The explosion subdued as they then saw Jim and to their shock, the man looked like he was unscathed by that as he was standing like nothing even happened. The worst part?

Hassleberry: 400 lp

Jim: 100 lp

He still had life points.

"WHAT?!" yelled everyone around him in complete shock.

"HOW?!"

"Simple, mate. I activated my Trap, Crocodile Scale. It negated the damage to 0." said Jim as he smiled as he looked at the card with a smile on his face.

"So… all of that… was for nothing?!" yelled Hassleberry as he slapped his forehead, "DAMN IT!" he then sighed, "I end my turn by setting a card." a card was set vertically behind his Dyna Tank.

Turn 8. Jim - 100 lp - 3 cards

Jim breathed in and out. This was getting difficult for the South Academy Student as he was not expecting a strategy like that to happen against him in this duel, he did actually minded it in the slightest. Sure he was basically near death's door with the amount of life points that he currently has is not something to be excited about, he still had a way for him not to feel like he was about to die with a single blow.

"My turn, I draw." said Jim as he drew the top card of his deck. He looked at it and nodded, "I drew the Spell card Miracle Rupture and I will play it!" A card popped out of his graveyard as he then took it, "With this, I can send 1 Rock monster from my deck to me graveyard, like my Flint Cragger." Jim took the card and sent it to the graveyard as he then placed his fingers on his deck.

"Now, I can draw a card from my deck!" yelled Jim as he drew the top card of his deck. He looked at it as he smiled at it. It was a pretty decent card and it would help to get some of his cards from the graveyard back into his deck. It will soon prove itself to be quite useful.

"This card will help me later on, but first… I will put that Dyna back into the ground! I banish from me graveyard my Flint Cragger and Weathering Soldier in order to Special Summon one of my strongest monsters," two cards popped out of Jim's graveyard as he then took them and placed them in his pocket. Jim then took a card from his hand.

"So I can summon this mate!" yelled Jim as he slammed the card on his duel disk, "Gaia Plate The Earth Giant!" The Duel Arena began to crack as an earthquake happened in the Duel Arena making everyone grab onto something as Hassleberry dropped to his knees. A fist then erupted from the ground as then the entire body was then revealed to everyone in the duel. It was a massive monster whose entire body was covered with stones as it then rivaled the size of Dyna Tank.

(Gaia Plate The Earth Giant: Level 8 - Earth Rock - Attack: 2800. Defense: 1000.)

"That is true mate, but I will tell ya, size doesn't mean anything if ya don't know how to use it, but thankfully for Gaia Plate, he knows how to use it." said Jim with a smirk on his face as they realized one thing. The attack points.

"It's attack points aren't as big as his Fusion Monster… it has to have a strong effect." said Alexis with narrowed eyes.

"The sheila is correct! Ya see, the monster that battles with Gaia Plate loses half of its attack and defense points, even if it is not the one that isn't the one attacking." said Jim as they gasped hearing that.

"Aww man!"

"That means you have to have a monster with more than 5600 attack points to kill that thing." Aster was astonished to hear a monster with a powerful effect like that on a monster that big.

"Now, let's go-"

"Not so fast! Before ya perform an attack, I activate my Trap, Survival Instinct! I banish from mah graveyard any number of Dinosaur monsters so I can gain 500 life points," said Hassleberry as then 6 cards popped out of his graveyard, "I banish from my graveyard my Sabersaurus, Souleating Oviraptor, Ultimate Tyranno, Giant Rex, Transcendosaurus Meteorus and Mighty Dino King Rex! My troops will take one for the team so I can survive this turn!"

The 6 Dinosaurs then appeared around Hassleberry as then they turned into bones as they fell to the ground as Hassleberry put all, but 1 into his pocket.

Hassleberry: 400 - 3400 lp

Jim: 100 lp

"Then, if Giant Rex is banished, it can report back to duty, but this time, it will gain 200 attack points for every banished Dino in my banished zone and I count 6!" yelled Hassleberry as then he slammed the card on his duel disk as it then appeared Giant Rex once more.

"Ahh! I get it, ya wanted to build up some defense against me and reform your defense before the opening starts, smart choice." said Jim as Hassleberry looked at Gaia Plate with narrowed eyes. Jim then began to form a thought of attack.

"Now, this is quite the sticky situation. On one hand, I could attack his small dinky dino to deal a total of 1200 points of damage and that is how much I gain, but on the other hand, I could destroy that Dyna Tank so that his monster wouldn't be able to attack me directly and so I don't have to risk activating his effects… I will go with option 2." thought Jim as he then pushed his arm forward.

"Battle! Gaia Plate The Earth Giant attacks Dyna Tank! Plate Tempest! However, firstly, ya monster loses half of its attack and defense points, Magma Mist!" yelled Jim as then Gaia Plate then sprouted his fist as then mist then began to from its fist as the monster then went downwards as it lowered its head and the heat of the monster was then lowered alongside his head.

Dyna Tank: 3500 - 1750 attack/2100 - 1050 defense points

Gaia Plate The Earth Giant then rose his fist to then deliver a strong haymaker at the monster, shattering it into pieces.

"Now, I activate Sebek's Blessing! When I deal ya damage, I gain the same amount of damage you have taken!" Hassleberry gasped as on Jim's field appeared an alligator mage as it then rose its staff as green energy appeared alongside Jim as it made the man had a massive smile on his face.

"Ahh… that feels great mate! Thanks for the life point boost! I feel more comfortable dueling ya!" said Jim as he then took a card from his hand, "I will end my turn by setting a card face down." said Jim as then a card was set vertically infront of Gaia Plate the Earth Giant.

Turn 9. Hassleberry - 2250 lp - 0 cards

"I got this… I got this…" Hassleberry breathed in and out as he looked at the sky. He saw one of his strongest monsters be destroyed in a matter of seconds by a monster that from just its design was simple to summon and now, he couldn't do anything unless he draws that card.

Hassleberry looked at his hand as he knew one thing, if he does not draw that card, he loses the entire duel. Which was something that he shouldn't ever happen to it as he gripped his hands. He looked at Gaia Plate and thought that it was one of the toughest monsters he had to battle against.

He had to draw a monster with the bare minimum of 5600 attack points, which is almost impossible with his own deck. So there was just one monster left in his deck. He gripped his deck as he breathed in and out.

"My turn…. I draw!" yelled Hassleberry as he then looked at the card that he just drew as then he had a massive smirk on his face, "AH HECK YES! If ya control more stuff than I do, one of my strongest monsters will report to duty! Come out, Dinowrestler Pankartops!" yelled Hassleberry as the attention was fully brought to him.

On his field appeared one of his strongest monsters. It was a triceratops that was impressively built. His skin was light green, as the gauntlets were dark green around his legs and arms, as he had a green mask with 2 horns on its head. The monster had purple pants and a belt on his hips, as there were yellow markings around its muscles.

(Dinowrestler Pankratops: Level 7 - Earth Dinosaur - Attack: 2600. Defense: 0.)

The audience gasped seeing that card when that card appeared on his field. They didn't expect a monster used by The Gore on this duel as Sora and Ray narrowed their eyes seeing that monster as the rest of the group cheered on or clapped their hands seeing that monster.

"Huh." Kite blinked, "Did not expect a monster like that."

"So some punk is using one of my monsters?" asked Gore as he then looked at the duel with a small smile on his face, "Well… let's see how this knucklehead uses them." Gore crossed his arms with an interested look on his face.

"Not gonna lie, mate, that is a sick monster. I was not expecting a monster like that." said Jim with an impressed look on his face as Hassleberry smiled.

"You bet your sweet ass you shouldn't! This card ain't no just any ordinary trooper, he is a monster used by The Legend Himself, The Gore, and he will show that he will help me in this turn right here and now!" Hassleberry then pointed at his opponent, "I activate Dinowrestler Pankartops' effect! By destroying one Dinowrestler monster like itself, I can destroy a card on your field and I think I found a perfect target!" yelled Hassleberry.

"You want a war?! Then have it ya wanker! Gaia Plate crush him!" Ordered Jim as then Gaia Plate rose its fist up as it then threw a punch straight towards the smaller monster.

"Like that will happen to me! Dinowrestler Pankartops! Combo it back at him!" yelled Hassleberry as his monster then threw a punch straight at his opponent as the fists then collided right at each other, creating a small shockwave, knocking almost everyone off their feet as Jim fixed his hat to see what was going to happen next.

Jim then rose his eye in shock as Pankartops then used his other arm to grab the arm that Gaia Plate was using to punch him and then he pulled it, making the monster fall to the ground, but not before an uppercut, literally punching the head out of that monster, creating a small explosion.

After the explosion disappeared, Pankartops then rose its fist up in the air to show its victory as then it fell to the ground out of exhaustion. Gore nodded with a smirk on his face, "Alright… that was amazing. You impressed me kiddo." Gore clapped his hands seeing that move.

"Okay, I have to admit… that… was freaking awesome." said Jim with a wide smile on his face.

"Ya betcha! That was an amazing turn of events, sadly, that is all that I can do. Giant Rex can not attack directly. Your move, Private." said Hassleberry as Jim nodded.

Turn 10. Jim - 1150 lp - 1 card

"Gotta be honest, that was not a bad strategy back there mate. A shame that your monster can't attack directly. So here it goes, my turn!" yelled Jim as he then drew the top card from his deck. He looked at it as he nodded. "This might not help me at the current moment, but it will work if I play this card! Jar Of Avarice!"

On his field appeared a jar with different coloured gems for teeth that had purple skin, blue tongue, green eyes and yellow eyebrows, outlines, lips and eyebrows. "This fella allows me to target 5 cards in my graveyard and I shuffle them!" 5 cards popped out of his graveyard which were 2 Copies of Fossil Fusion, Time Stream, Gaia Plate The Earth Giant and Crocodile Scale as they then flew straight into the jar as it turned straight to Jim, "Then I get to draw a card!" yelled Jim as then the jar spat out a card towards him, which disgusted everyone.

"Eww."

"Disgusting."

"I think I am going to barf."

"Double eww." said Leo, Luna, David and Reggie as Reggie said that to David.

"Before I go anywhere with me plays, I am about to show all of ya' one of my new additions to my deck! The Spell card, Foolish Burial!" yelled Jim as then a card popped out of his deck as he then took it, "From it, I can send one of me mates from me deck straight to the graveyard and the monster I choose is my Bacon Saver!"

"This is bad. If that monster is a Rock monster, then that means he has enough for even more materials for one of his Fusion Summons." said Bastion as he gritted his teeth, unaware the effect of Bacon Saver.

"I will now play this card! My favourite Spell card! Fossil Fusion!" Hassleberry gritted his teeth as then two tablets came out of the ground, "I will now excavate the remains of my Fossil Warrior Skull King from my graveyard and the level 7 Dinowrestler Pankartops from your graveyard in order to summon a new one!" yelled Jim as the stone tablets showed the defeated warrior and the newly destroyed wrestler as they then came towards each other.

"Come along, mates! To see one of the newly drawn Paleozoic Dragon destroys all that comes in his way! I Fusion Summon! Fossil Dragon Skullgios!" yelled Jim as then as when the two tablets crashed into each other, they created a small explosion as the fossils fell down to the ground.

The ground began to shake as then from it emerged a massive monster. It was a massive skeleton of which it reminded everyone of Ultimate Tyranno, or more specifically, a Tyranosaurus. The monster roared once it appeared on the field.

(Fossil Dragon Skullgios: Fusion - Level 8 - Earth Rock - Attack: 3500. Defense: 0.)

"It doesn't…. really looks like a Dragon…" said Syrus as he fixed his glasses.

"Yeah, it really should be Fossil Dinosaur Skullgios:" said Sora as then he took out a bag of cookies and began to eat them.

"I am sorry, mates, but I really don't know why they didn't name it like that, but, here is the thing, it won't matter in the slightest for me! Ya see, the monster may look strong, but he is far from my strongest monster." said Jim as they widened their eyes hearing that as South Academy narrowed their eyes hearing that.

"That is true, it has been a while since Jim summoned that." said Marik as he knew that card better than anyone. It was the strongest monster in his deck and that South Academy can ever offer to someone. He got that card as he battled the previous strongest South Academy duelist and he won fair and square. It was just the one duelist that she preferred to listen to, which was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

"What is he talking about?" asked Celina as she looked at Sartorius as the man gave an eerie smile.

"I know what he is talking about. It is one of the strongest monsters to exist, one of the Planet monsters." said Sartorius as Celina nodded.

"I see, I hope we can see that new monster." said Celina as the rest of the Society of Light looked forward to see that monster in this duel.

"Well, the same can be said about me! All you see were just sargents of my deck! You are yet to meet the general of my deck!" yelled Hassleberry as there was one monster he was stoked to use.

Jim smiled, "Really? I will make sure that I will push ya to summon it. Firstly though, battle! Fossil Dragon Skullgios attacks!" yelled Jim as he then pushed his fist forward as the monster then began charging straight towards his opponent as Hassleberry readied himself, "Now I will activate my Skullgios' effect!" Suddenly, Fossil Dragon Skullgios stopped.

"Huh? Wdya stop?!" asked Hassleberry as Jim smiled at him.

"Well ya see, Skullgios has an effect that can be a pain in the butt, ya see, when he battles a monster, the stats change! That means its attack is its defense and vice versa!" Jim then raised his hand as then he snapped his fingers.

SNAP!

Giant Rex: 3200 - 2000 + 1200 = 2400 attack points/ 1200 - 2000 defense points

"AW CRUD!" yelled Hassleberry as then Skullgios then charged towards the weaker dinosaur as it made its head go down to its level, open up its maw and then began to chew on it. It instantly destroyed the monster.

Now both Jim and Hassleberry are evenly matched as their life points are equal, but everything else is completely different.

Jim then took a card from his hand, "I end my turn by setting a card face down, your move." said Jim as then a card was then vertically set behind his Fossil Dragon Skullgios.

Turn 11. Hassleberry - 1150 lp - 0 cards

Hassleberry gulped as he saw a powerful monster staring him down with a dark grin on its face. He knew that he had to draw into a card to finish this thing off, but how can he? He barely, if at all, has monster destruction cards and the cards in his deck was getting limited by the amount of cards he has left in his deck.

Not to mention, he has no cards in his hand, almost no life points, no monsters, Spells and Trap cards on his field and barely has anything in his deck. Hassleberry breathed in and out. This has been getting ridiculous. He has been dueling against a man that was almost a perfect counter for his deck.

If he does not draw into the perfect card, he will los-

Hassleberry shook his head, "No, I got this. A smart Sarge once said, 'A duel ain't done until the last card is played' and that is what I believe in! In this turn, you are about to go down! Your monster is going to turn into nothing, but rubble during this turn!" yelled Hassleberry as Jim grinned.

"Really, then? Then go ahead, mate, it is your turn after all." said Jim as Hassleberry smirked.

"And I am about to make it work! My turn! I draw!" yelled Hassleberry as he grabbed the top card of his deck as he breathed in and out. "I DRAW!" yelled Hassleberry as he then drew the top card of his deck as then he smirked. "YEEEEEEES! I WON WITH THIS CARD! THIS WILL BE THE END OF YOU! Tyranno Infinity! REPORT TO DUTY!"

Hassleberry slammed the top card of his deck as then on his side of the field appeared the monster that defeated Satyr. It was a massive dinosaur with yellow claws and teeth, it had beige coloured skin and massive horns on his head. It was the size of Fossil Dragon Skullgios.

(Tyranno Infinity: Level 4 - Earth Dinosaur - Attack: ?. Defense: 0.)

"Aww man! With this, Hassleberry won!" cheered Syrus with a wide smile on his face.

"One attack from it and all is good!"

"He actually did it!" said both Sora and Ray as the rest watched in amusement and in anticipation.

"That… might be it." said Skye with narrowed eyes as she knew what the monster had in store.

"Massive monster, but how is that going to beat me?" asked Jim with an interested tone as Hassleberry smirked.

"Oh nothing much, he just gains 1000 attack points for every banished Dino!" explained Hassleberry as they widened hearing that.

"Oh… that might be a problem." Jim blinked hearing that.

"You betcha! Come out! Dino Roll Call!" yelled Hassleberry as then around several Dinosaurs appeared around him. They were: Dark Driceratops, Ultimate Tyranno, Souleating Oviraptor, Mighty Dino King Rex, Sabersaurus, Transcendosaurus Meteorus and Dinowrestler Pankartops, all surrounding him with mighty glares on their faces as Tyranno Infinity roared in power.

Tyranno Infinity: ? - 7000 attack points

"Well, this ain't so good." said Jim with a smile on his face as he held his hat. He looked to see Shirley growling, but he shook his head, it will all be finished soon enough.

"WAY TO GO, HASSLEBERRY! WIN THIS AND YOU WILL GET YOUR FAVOURITE CURRY!" yelled Satyr as they turned to see him waving a fan and banner that had his face on it. Everyone sweatdropped seeing that.

"Well ya heard 'im! This duel will result in my victory! Infinity Fang!" yelled Hassleberry as then his massive monster then charged at the massive Fossil Dragon Skullgios as the monster growled hearing that, "I did it! I wo-"

"I don't think so, I activate me Trap, Guardraw! By placing me Skullgios in defense mode, I can draw a card!" yelled Jim as then his Fossil Dragon Skullgios roared as then it went down to its knees as Jim drew another card from his deck with a smirk on his face. Tyranno Infinity then charged at the Fossil Dragon and bit its neck with enough force for it to explode into particles and making everyone cover themselves from it.

"Okay, this is getting ridiculous." said Aster.

"This ain't never ending!" groaned Hassleberry as then his Tyranno Infinity went back to his master. Hassleberry sighed, "At least I got rid of that thing, your move." said Hassleberry as he really just wanted this duel to end in his favour.

Turn 12. Jim - 1150 lp - 1 card

"Alright, my turn! I draw!" yelled Jim as then he drew the top card of his deck as he then looked at it with a smile on his face. This card is perfect for even more Fusion moves for this turn and this duel, but he knew that he has no monster in his deck that can even fight against Tyranno Infinity, with the monster having 7000 attack points.

At least… on a one on one, or by battle.

"I have to admit, that monster sure seems like a monster that I would hate to battle against, would be a shame if I have a way to destroy that monster, ain't it?" asked Jim with a smirk on his face as Hassleberry laughed hearing that.

"Why of course! It is one of the strongest monsters I have in my de…" Hassleberry then noticed something.

Jim was smirking the entire time which meant only one thing.

"You have something for my monster, don't you?" asked Hassleberry as he hated the fact that once he lifted up a card in his hand he basically answered his own question as the man looked at it with a smirk on his face.

"Maybe, so tell me, will this work?! I activate Fossil Hammer! I target the highest level monster on ya side of the field and destroy it!" as then a massive hammer made out of fossils came crashing downwards towards Hassleberry, destroying the small dinosaur as then the bones scattered around the entire arena. "Chin up, mate! Cause now you can summon a monster with the same type, but with a lower level!"

"Gee, thanks a lot." a card popped out of Hassleberry's graveyard as he then took it. He sighed, "I guess Babycerasaurus is reporting to duty." said Hassleberry as then on his field appeared a rather adorable creature. It was a Ceratopsia, a small little dinosaur with green skin and scales, with blue eyes, spikes on the head and nose and an eggshell that acted like a diaper.

(Babycerasaurus: Level 2 - Earth Dinosaur - Attack: 500. Defense: 500.)

Most of the audience awwed at the little creature as they had to admit, that was an unusually adorable creature compared to the massive Dinosaurs that he usually plays.

"Okay, that is adorable." said Ageha as Light Tsukiko hugged her Marshmellon plushie once more.

"Adorable, mate, but can it survive this?! Fossil Fusion!" everyone from Duel Academy groaned hearing that as it was getting repetitive at this point as South Academy what monster he will show up next. "I excavate the remains of my Fossil Dragon Skullgios with the remains of your Level 4 Tyranno Infinity!" Two tablets appeared beside each other.

One showed the bones of a massive Tyrannosaurus while the other showed a massive Tyranno as well, but the only difference was that it had horns on the top of its head. The two then began to crash into each other as they went forward, but then they crashed into each other as then the bones fell down as then from it emerged something new.

Jim then began to chant, "Welcome one and all to the trip of the Jurassic Park! As the Menozoic Driver drives through time to crash into his enemies! I Fusion Summon! Fossil Machine Skull Buggy!" as then from the rubble drove onto the stage was something they weren't expecting. It was an actual buggy with a triceratops on the front as the entire thing was made out of bones, with the bottom being that of a ribcage, the wheels being that of composed bones and the end was a tail.

"Wait that? Doesn't he have Dyna Tank to fuse into his Skull Convoy?" asked Leo with an interested tone of his voice.

"I think it is because he doesn't want to risk having a monster with at least 8000 attack points," Suggested Reggie which made sense for anyone watching the duel.

"This thing is a beauty! It can reach up to 200 miles per hour, it has a comfortable driver's seat, the steering wheel is that of dino heads and even has a whole backroom for Shirley to play in!" yelled Jim with a smile on his face as then he threw a hand straight towards Babycerasaurus, "However, the best part is that it can destroy a monster that is in defense mode! Go! Attack with Historic Crash!"

The driver in the buggy then honked the horn inside of the buggy as then the monster charged straight ahead of the small baby on the road as it went from 0 to 150 miles per hour, crashing into it, almost forcibly canceling the live broadcasting as it seemed a little too real to show on live TV as the monster then continued to make donuts around the Duel Arena as it then went back to Jim.

"Okay, that was disturbing, but I activate Babycerasaurus' effect! When the little guy is destroyed, I can tag team for a new Level 4 or lower monster in my deck," Hassleberry began to reach for his deck, as then Jim interjected.

"Not so fast, mate! Skull Buggy has an effect! When he destroys a monster by battle you take 600 points of damage! Road Rage!" yelled Jim as then the Driver, who revealed himself to be Skull Servant, threw a bone straight at Hassleberry, which made the kid walk backwards for a few seconds.

Hassleberry: 1150 - 550 lp

Jim: 1150 lp

"Like that will stop me! Petiteranodon, report to duty!" on Hassleberry's field appeared another baby monster. It was a pteranodon, with the monster having small wings with orange scales and skin, a yellow beak with green eyes, white skin on the middle and it had a hat that was actually his eggshell.

Like before, many of the spectators awed at how adorable that monster was, with Ruby Carbuncle biting Jesse's hand if he ever thought about thinking anyone was cuter than her and Winged Kuriboh puffed up on Jaden's shoulder.

"You ain't going to catch me lacking, Private!" yelled Hassleberry as Jim laughed.

"Well ya sure proved me, mate. I have nothing left to do, your move." said Jim as he had no more moves to make at the current moment.

Turn 13. Hassleberry - 550 lp - 0 cards

Hassleberry was breathing heavily as he realized how much strain this one man caused him in only one duel as he actually thought this was the toughest person he had ever faced in his entire life up until now and that was no small feat.

Sure, Satyr was a decent duelist, but his skill was nothing compared to everyone else. Sora and Ray were a duo that he was actually shocked that they could even remotely put up a fight, but the fact that they were able to almost beat him is an impressive feat on its own, as Sartorius was a man that he didn't even think that he tried in his duel and Jaden? Jaden was a man that there are possibly only 3 Duelists that can catch up to him, but it was no longer Yusuke Fujiwara.

Jim Crocodile Cook on the other hand? He was someone that he is fully convinced that could take out the entire Society Of Light in one day with his deck with his deck heavily relied on the graveyard which most decks rely on nowadays and this man is making sure that they don't even play them ever again, he is able to even one shotting several of his strongest monsters with one monster and to him… he wasn't even going full out as his Ace still hasn't appeared.

Was he the strongest duelist alive?

No, he can think of at least 3 duelists that can beat him, but the strongest duelist he has ever fought?

That is something 100% confirmed.

And here he is, standing there with only 1 monster on his side of the field, no cards in his hand and on death's door. Being countered by a buggy of all things and he is actually struggling to even damage him as he hasn't taken a single point of damage in the past few turns, it was getting tiring and if he was honest… kind of dehumanizing for him at least.

Nothing he did worked against him.

His heaviest hitters were hitting back weaker and weaker against his true deck and if he draws one bad card, he will lose on his next turn. He looked at his hand and he saw it. It was shaking out of fear.

The fear of losing.

The fear of being rejected.

No… No…

He doesn't…. He doesn't want to feel alone no more! He wants to be with people he cares about!

He doesn't want to be alone!

As he grabbed his head, he began to-

"Come on, Hassleberry!" The boy in question then turned to see Jaden standing up as everyone, including Celina looked at him in surprise, "You don't have to beat yourself after this! If you are afraid, it is alright, but I want to tell you that no matter what happens… you played the sweetest duel I have seen! So no matter what happens, be glad that you were here to be a part of this amazing event!" yelled Jaden as the gang then looked at each other.

"Yeah! Everything will be okay, no matter what!" said Syrus.

"If you lose, you are a scrub, but an impressive scrub." Chazz said as they looked at him for a brief second.

"You are the dude that beat us at the same time! You got this!" yelled both Sora and Ray.

"The amount of interesting combos you did were something inspiring and helpful!" yelled Bastion.

"Don't be upset if you lose, it happens to all of us." said Yusuke.

"Trust yourself and you won't lose it." said Aster as he then crossed his arms.

"You got this, man!" yelled Sorano as then Hassleberry then looked at all of them as he then smiled.

No matter what happens in this duel…

"They will be with me… they will be with me… no matter what…" Hassleberry then turned to Jim, "Oi, Private! This duel has been a good one, but it is time for me to lay a smackdown and lay a 3 point finisher on you!" yelled Hassleberry as Jim readied himself.

"This ain't no wrestling match, but even at that, ya don't got me! I will like to see ya try against me." said Jim with a smile on his face.

Jim looked at his hand and saw the last copy of Fossil Fusion and then Crocodile Scale as for the last car-

Jim stopped as he then heard a growl, a very familiar growl, "Oh, so you want to finish this duel, huh?" thought to himself as Chazz, Jaden, Aster and Yusuke raised a brow at that as they saw him stop for a moment, "Well, alright ma'am, whatever the sheila wants, the sheila will get." Jim then discarded Fossil Fusion and Crocodile Scale.

Hassleberry looked at his hand and saw that it was a powerful Spell card, Jurassic World and the Spell card known as Break Draw, which showed a weakened and heavily damaged Samurai slashing through a ninja. He then discarded the the last 2 cards from his hand as then he placed a hand on his deck, "Since Break Draw was sent to the graveyard, I get to draw 1 more card!" yelled Hassleberry as he drew that card and he nodded.

He placed that card and then took the first card, "I will now play The Spell Double Evolution Pill!" Those who are familiar with Hassleberry's strategy leaned in to see what will happen next. "With this, I can banish a non Dino and a Dino from my graveyard in order to Special Summon 1 Level 7 or Higher Dinosaur monster from my deck! So let's go! I banish Dyna Base and Tank!"

On his field appeared Dyna Tank and Dyna Base as they began to crumble alongside as then a card popped out of his deck as he then took it with a wide smile on his face as he began to chant, "The brain of machine, the brawn of Dino, create and merge into creating the strongest combo ever, as you will become the King Of All Dinos! I Special Summon! Ultimate Conductor Tyranno!"

As then on Hassleberry's field appeared a massive dinosaur that was the size of a skyscraper. The monster had red sharp teeth with red muscles coming out of the body. The skin of the Dinosaur was metallic with a dark blue colouring scheme as there were purple orbs all around the monster as there were sharp blades around the monster's entire being that were that of blades as the tail was longer than all of the humans combined. It had a purple aura all around its being.

(Ultimate Conductor Tyranno: Level 10 - Light Dinosaur - Attack: 3500. Defense: 3200.)

"HOLY SHMOLY!" yelled Leo in shock as everyone else watched in horror.

Marik could even compare that size to Obelisk The Tormentor it was that large as the massive dinosaur grinned wildly looking at everyone.

"YES!" Crowler stood up, "With this, our school wins!" cheered Crowler as most of the students cheered on for Hassleberry to win this duel right here and now as nothing will stop him.

"Ya heard that man! Let's end this with a spectacular finisher! I activate Ultimate Conductor Tyranno's effect! By destroying one monster on my field, all of your monsters switch into face down defense mode!" roared Hassleberry as Petiteranodon looked up to Ultimate Conductor Tyranno as it then lowered its head. Knowing what will happen next.

Ultimate Conductor Tyranno reached down and ate the monster, crushing it into bits as then the eyes of that monster began to spark with blue electricity around the powerful monster as then shot out electricity all around the entire arena with Jim covering his entire body from the shock as he then saw his Fossil Machine Skull Buggy no longer there and it was replaced by a vertically set card.

"Well that is annoying." said Jim with a frown on his face as Hassleberry then took a card from his hand.

"Ya haven't seen nothing yet, Petiteranodon has a similar effect that to my Babycera, ya see, when it is destroyed, I can special summon a Level 4 or Higher Dinosaur monster from my deck, but it can not attack the turn it is summoned!" a card popped out of Hassleberry's deck as he then took it, "Come out! The monster that is now reporting to duty! Super Conductor Tyranno!"

On his side of the field appeared a massive dinosaur with green scales around the monster, with silver coloured armour around its knees, neck, shoulders with a massive mechanical tail with purple orbs as it had massive silver spikes with red eyes. Its legs were made out of the toughest of steels.

(Super Conductor Tyranno: Level 8 - Light Dinosaur - Attack: 3300. Defense: 1400.)

Jim whistled with a smirk on his face, "Ultimate and Super Conductor Tyranno? What are ya trying to do? Start up a train business?" Jim asked a silly question as Hassleberry smirked hearing that.

"Nope, these two cards will be a part of my powerful combo that will leave you in shambles! This will be the combo to strike you with a bolt of Thunder!" yelled Hassleberry as then a Lightning bolt struck him.

"HEY! THAT IS MY SHTICK!" roared Chazz as they sweatdropped hearing that.

"Dude, chill, let him have this one." said Aster as Chazz glared at him while the Destiny and Vision Hero Duelist rolled his eyes at that.

"Let's start with this! My Ultimate Conductor Tyranno has 2 sets of abilities that will destroy you! The first is that he can attack every monster on the field after using his effect and the second is that before the monster is destroyed by battle, it is automatically destroyed and you take 1000 points of damage!" After Hassleberry said that, South Academy gasped.

"No! I know that lizard over there can do! If this connects, then it can destroy itself or the Ultimate Version to deal 1000 points of damage!" said David as they heard what that meant.

"It can't happen… no, Jim won't let that happen." said Luna as she bit her finger seeing him be almost defenseless.

Jim glanced at Shirley and saw that she was unharmed, which made him sigh in relief. He looked forward with his duel disk ready to stop all of his plays for the rest of the turn.

"BATTLE! Ultimate Conductor Tyranno attacks and destroys that facedown! Disaster Discharge!" roared Hassleberry as then electricity came all around the massively powerful Dinosaur as it was then brimming with energy, coming all around it as then the monster gave out a triumpful roar sending shockwaves to everywhere and specifically at Jim's set card, making him defenseless.

The wave of electricity came straight towards Jim and his set card, ready to end it all…

"I banish from my graveyard Bacon Saver!" they gasped hearing that as Sartorius smiled wickedly hearing that. "Once per duel, I can banish this card from my graveyard in order to negate 1 attack! So please, save my bacon!" as then a pig appeared on his field.

To shock of most kids watching, the pig then shot its skeleton ahead of the shockwaves that were about to strike Skull Buggy and completely stopped all of them. The Pig skin landed on Bonaparte's head as he then screamed out of the room out of fear.

"He… blocked it…" Hassleberry was horrified to see this happening. His strategy was simple. Once he was done with attacking that set down card with his Ultimate Conductor Tyranno, he would deal 1000 points towards his opponent and then activate his Super Conductor Tyranno to deal 1000 life points once more to finish the job.

But here he is…

Defining Fate itself.

Hassleberry thought about his next play. He can't attack with Super Conductor Tyranno due to his Petite monster, but he thought about using his effect and shook it off. While it does seem like a good strategy on paper, it would leave him defenseless and unable to respond to whatever he has in play with his Ultimate Conductor Tyranno which is something he won't let happen.

He looked at his sole card in his hand as he sighed, "I set a card facedown and call it a turn." said Hassleberry as then a card was set vertically behind the two Conductor monsters.

Turn 14. Jim - 1150 lp - 1 card

Jim looked at his hand and saw it was a perfect card for the job to finish this duel once and for all. He looked at his deck, "If I played all of my cards correctly, you should appear, won't you?" as then he heard a soft growl which made him smile, "Good to hear that… Now, let's end this shall we?" asked himself Jim as then he placed his fingers on the top of his deck.

"My turn… I draw!" roared Jim as then he drew the top card of his deck as then, the atmosphere changed for everyone as they couldn't describe what it was, but it was something that was breathtaking. South Academy knew.

He was going all out in this one turn.

"You are here. You are finally here." said Jim with a happy smile on his face as he turned to Shirley, "Shirley! I have great news for ya! Your grandma is going to appear!" Shirley widened her eyes as then she let out a happy growl. Jim smiled at his friend's excitement as they were wondering what it was.

Aster then widened his eyes, "No way… he is going to summon one of them, isn't he?" asked Aster as they turned to him.

"What are you talking about, bro?" asked Jaden with an interested tone in his voice.

"Jaden… one of the Planets is going to appear. I can feel it." said Aster as everyone in the crowd then gasped out loud hearing that. The Planet monsters, they are something that only a few people can even have as they are disgustingly rare monsters. Jaden has Terra Firma, which represents Earth, and Aster has The Grand Jupiter.

Sartorius smiled hearing that while not one to use any of them, he isn't one to not have one, not two, but three of them. He looked at his deck box with a smirk on his face which concerned Celina once she saw that smirk.

Declan narrowed his eyes hearing that as he took out his deck box and pulled out a card that was one of them. It was his The Suppression Pluto. He looked at his deck with an interested look on his face.

The Grand Jupiter, Elemental HERO Terra Firma and Neos, Honest and Ojama Yellow all appeared, "WAIT! You mean we are going to see more of those terrifying guys?!" screeched Ojama Yellow in shock.

"It appears so… what do you mean by that?" asked The Grand Jupiter as he glared at Ojama Yellow, which the small creature gulped seeing him like that.

"Grand Jupiter, now is not the time to be petty with the Ojamas." Said Terra Firma as The Grand Jupiter rolled his eyes. "Though, it is interesting that we are going to see another one of them."

"I concur, I am interested on which of them will be. I haven't seen them in quite a while." said Honest as he looked down on the Duel Arena.

"I don't think it is Pluto, his aura would have been felt the moment he arrived here, Mars doesn't seem like it since she doesn't like to be quiet for more than a few minutes, Venus, Mercury, Uranus and Saturn doesn't feel like it even though I haven't been with them for a long time, which only leaves with 2 options." said Neos as he crossed his arms seeing that.

"Is it The Sun and Neptune?" asked Ojama Yellow.

"Bingo and from the looks of it…"

"One of them will be summoned right here and now." said Terra Firma and finished The Grand Jupiter.

Back to the duel, Jim activated a card from his hand, "I play Change Of Heart! This card will make your monster have a change of heart and change the position of the field as I take control of it!" Hassleberry gasped as then an Angel appeared on the field as one side it was angelic and the other side it was demonic.

The Angel then shot out a heart straight towards Ultimate Conductor Tyranno as the monster blinked for a moment. It looked at Jim and then back to Hassleberry. After a few seconds it snarled as it then began to walk straight towards Jim with the steps shaking the entire Duel Arena. Once it reached towards Jim, it lowered its head as the man laughed.

"Aww, it is alright mate! Ya don't have to be so shy, it is all good. All ya have to is attack that man for the win and all is good." said Jim as then Ultimate Conductor Tyranno glared at Hassleberry as the Dino Boy then widened his eyes in fear, fully knowing the effects of his monster. "Now, I will activate the eff-"

"Not so fast! Go, Fiendish Chain!" yelled Hassleberry as then several chains appeared from the Trap card as it covered the entire monster as it glared at the Dino Boy with hateful eyes, "This card targets an Effect monster. It can not attack nor activate any of his effects, so that means once my turn comes, mah monster returns to me!"

"Croikey! I didn't expect that bloody well move, but that doesn't matter, all that matters is if it can be tributed… cause of this. Shirley! You are about to meet your grandma and Dino Boy… you are going to meet your grandaunt." said Jim with a smirk on his face as he picked up a card from his hand as then air began to flow from Jim's duel disk, pushing everything back as Reggie has to keep her hat on her head so it does not fall off.

"This aura! This summoning!" Honest covered himself with his wings as one of the feathers caught Ojama Yellow before he began flying away as Terra Firma and Grand Jupiter have to cover themselves from this as Neos was the only one to stand up to the pressure.

"It can only be her! She picked him?! I thought she didn't like to listen to humans. It seems as though he is very special." Neos narrowed his eyes to see one of the oldest monsters in all of existence to pick a human like Jim. It was the first time she did that in over millions of years, right before the death of her previous master. "Maybe… it is because it reminds her of him."

"I tribute your Ultimate Conductor Tyranno!" the massive Dinosaur disappeared as then Jim slammed the card on his duel disk, "The dawn of the Universe breaks in, as of the 9 beings, comes along the spirit that breaks through all of the imitations! Watch as though she becomes one of her friends! I Tribute Summon! The Tyrant Neptune!" roared Jim as then on his side of the field appeared a powerful monster.

It was a massive crocodile with 4 legs as it reached up to have 2 arms with a black sea weed covered head as it looked like it was burning up with yellow eyes, gray teeth and a pink tongue. It had emerald coloured scales as its tail reached to the back of the Duel Arena with scales on it, as it had gray armour around its entire body, carrying a massive sickle.

(The Tyrant Neptune: Level 10 - Water Reptile - Attack: 0. Defense: 0.)

Everyone were in awe to see a monster like her in battle. It didn't fit his asthetic, but it seemed as though it belonged to him. The monster that can become any and all monsters that he wanted as the sheer power this lone monster gave out was enough to make someone choke on it.

Shirley looked at her grandma in awe as no matter what is the situation, she was always glad to see her in action as Hassleberry looked at his grandaunt in horror as the monster can make his Ultimate Conductor Tyranno look like a scrub as everyone's mouths were agape. The only one that wasn't was Sartorius who looked at it with an interested tone. Out of all of the Planets, The Tyrant Neptune was one of the strongest ones.

The South Academy all watched with proud looks on their faces as it isn't everyday that Jim brings out his strongest monster in a duel, but whenever he does, it is a spectacle. Marik grinned seeing that monster as the monster was genuinely his favourite monster to watch in combat as it is the Pride and Joy of South Academy.

"It's her."

"I can't believe my eyes."

"It has been so long."

"She is scary." said Terra Firma, The Grand Jupiter, Neos and Ojama Yellow as the last one had his mouth covered by Honest.

"Neos… Honest… Terra Firma… The Grand Jupiter… it has been a long time since I saw any of you, I hope you are doing alright." said The Tyrant Neptune as the ones that could see Duel Spirits widened hearing that as they weren't expecting to see Jim having a monster with a consciousness. The Tyrant Neptune looked at Jaden, Aster and Yusuke, "Ahh, it seems as that all of you found new masters. I hope they have been treating you well."

"Aster does take good care of us, don't worry." said Grand Jupiter as he knew better than to face her wrath.

"Neos and I have actually been talking it out ever since he joined the deck a few weeks ago." said Terra Firma as Neos nodded with that.

"That is fantastic to hear, but, I feel as though… those beings are back, with it." Tyrant Neptune then looked at Celina with narrowed eyes. Neos was still, knowing full well what she meant by that.

"We know… Please don't attack her, even though I despise her, she means a lot to someone, so please." said Neos with sorrowful eyes which Tyrant Neptune understood.

"I understand."

"Now, this sheila is amazing! She is the one that I got from a duel against the previous strongest duelist in the Academy and she is one worthy of my deck! I like to call her Karen." said Jim as The Tyrant Neptune then turned to Jim.

"Jim, it is time." said The Tyrant Neptune as Jim heard and nodded, which shocked them which meant only one thing… he can speak to Duel Spirits the entire time.

"Whatever the sheila says. The Tyrant Neptune has several cool effects! The first is that she gains the total of the original attack and defense points of the monster that was tributed to summon her!" yelled Jim as then The Tyrant Neptune roared as she glew red for a long while as her powers have been revealed.

The Tyrant Neptune: 0 - 3500 attack/ 0 - 3200 defense points

"It is stronger than my Super Conductor Tyranno!" yelled Hassleberry in shock as he then smirked, though, he will have enough to survive this turn for a comeback.

"That ain't the only thing she got! You see, if I tributed a monster, she can then target that monster was used as a Tribute Summon as then her names becomes that of the tributed monster and here is the best part…" he leaned in with a smirk on his face, "She gains the effect of the tributed monster."

"WHAT?!" that was the reaction out of everyone that wasn't from South Academy as Jesse jumped on his feet in shock.

"That means that… Jim won!" yelled Shoma in shock.

"I won this, mate! I activate the effect of my Tyrant Neptune! By destroying my Skull Buggy," The Tyrant Neptune then threw her sickle at the vertically set card and returned to her hands like it was Mjolnir. "so your Super Conductor Tyranno is now in set defense mode." said Jim as then the Tyrant Neptune pointed her sickle as then from it electricity was shot from it making the monster turn into a vertically set card.

"I… lost." said Hassleberry as then he dropped his head in shame.

"It's quite alright mate, you did well against me. But… enough is enough. The Tyrant Neptune attacks! Sickle Of Ruin!" yelled Jim as then The Tyrant Neptune threw her sickle at the set card, "Now… the effect goes off… you lose… 1000 life points!" yelled Jim as then the threw the sickle straight at the set card with enough force to destroy a building.

The sickle then began to fly straight ahead towards the set card with the speed of a bullet as the sharp edges of the sickle was increasing and sharpening in every moment as then, once it reached towards Super Conductor Tyranno, the monster shot out a bullet of lightning straight towards the sickle, but it couldn't even stop it.

The sickle continued onwards until it sliced the head off the Lightning Dinosaur, making a small explosion that covered the entire arena.

The explosion subdued as they then saw the winner of the entire duel.

JIM CROCODILE COOK: WINNER!

The winner of the entire School Duel was James 'Jim' Crocodile Cook. The man stood on top of everything that happened in the entire duel and managed to flip everything upside down in one single duel. Hassleberry fell down to his knees as then Jim rose his index finger up with a closed eye as his hat rose up with the index finger for an extra flare.

The Tyrant Neptune stood alone from the aftermath of the battle as she then reached for her sickle as it then returned to her in a matter of seconds. The monster glared at Hassleberry as it then disappeared from the holograms, not before giving a last glance at Ojama Yellow, Neos, Terra Firma, Honest and The Grand Jupiter.

Everyone stood in silence from what they have just seen, after Hassleberry threw all of his strongest monsters, Mighty Dino King Rex, Dyna Tank, Transcendosaurus Meteorus, Ultimate Tyranno, Tyranno Infinity, Dinowrestler Pankartops and both of his Conductor Tyrannos and he still fell down from the duel.

It was a full fact.

Jim was the true winner of the entire match.

Marik looked at his best student with a warm smile on his face as he closed his eyes.

"He did it…" Luna stared at the winner.

"He won…" Leo's mouth was agape.

"He proved us right!" David had a massive grin on his face.

"Jim won…" Reggie's face turned from shock to happiness as every South Academy Student rose up to their feet.

"JIM WON!" they exclaimed.

"WAY TO GO, JIM!"

"YOU ARE THE MAN!"

"1 FOR THE FOSSILS AND 2 FOR CROCODILES!"

"HE IS THE FUCKING GOAT!"

"SOUTH ACADEMY WON!"

Those were the South Academy cheers as every cheer made Jim smile wider and wider.

Celina sighed, "Can't say I didn't expect that." Said Celina as she stood up.

"I was more shocked that he managed to survive for that long." said Alexis as she and Skye rose up as well.

"At least we got to see a fun duel." said Skye as the rest of the Society Of Light members, with the exception of Sartorius, stood up as they walked outside of the Duel Arena.

They looked at Sartorius who remained on his seat, "Don't mind me gentlemen, I will just be looking at the aftermath. Maybe even ask a question with Jim." Sartorius said with an ominous tone in his voice. They nodded to that as Celina bid him good luck.

On the side of Duel Academy, Bonaparte slammed his fist onto the ground once he returned to the Duel Arena, Satyr was crying waterfalls anime style as Clarissa patted him on the ground, with Fonda looking at the poor boy with a sad frown on her face as Kolter cringed looking at him. Crowler sighed as he began to walk down the stairs.

"He lost..:" Syrus frowned.

"Poor guy." said Aster as looked at him.

"Sucks to be him…" said Chazz as Yusuke looked at him.

"Show some respect, man."

"At least he gave us information about this Jim fellow." said Bastion as he wrote a couple of notes of the Fossil Duelist.

"Yikes."

"Double Yikes." said both Ray and Sora.

Jaden then stood up once more, "Hey! You may not have won, but you had a sweet duel, didn't you?! That is all that matters! Not just winning or losing, but about having fun, so don't beat yourself over it!" yelled Jaden as Hassleberry thought about it and then… He rose his head up.

"I didn't win, but…" he looked at his hand as then he smiled, "I had fun."

"And that is all that matters, mate." Hassleberry looked up to see the tall Australian looking down on him, but not with a cocky smile, a heartwarming one. He reached down to his fallen opponent and gave him a hand as Hassleberry took it to show good sportsmanship as they rose up.

"Sure winning is cool and 'll, but that ain't it to fully grasp the full meaning of dueling. Sure, I prefer to win, but if I had fun, then that doesn't matter if I lost." said Jim as he looked at him with a smile on his face, "I can tell ya have a problem with losing and that is alright as long as you try to learn from it and try to better yourself from it. And besides."

Jim then wrapped his arm around Hassleberry's shoulder as he quietly said to his ear, "Noone is going to leave ya if ya lost a game, especially one mate of both you and me. Trust me, he ain't leaving no one alone." said Jim as Hassleberry nodded to that, grateful to hear that someone will be there for him. No matter what. Jim then loosened up arm as he lifted it up with a speed of a bullet.

"Shirley! Did ya love that duel, huh?! Did you have fun watching it?!" said Jim as the crocodile reached towards him as he then began to pet it as if it isn't an animal that can rip people from limb to limb. Shirley gave out a loud snarl which made the man smile harder, "Ahh! That is great to hear! Come, mate! Pet Shirley! She doesn't bite. Well, unless you are someone she doesn't trust."

Hassleberry gulped, "Sure! I ain't no wimp! I got this!" said Hassleberry as he closed his eyes as he reached his hand towards the crocodile as then once his hand landed on her head, Hassleberry blinked, "Huh… it is like petting a dog. A very scaly dog." The Dino Boy began to pet the crocodile alongside Jim.

Crowler and Marik began to clap as the latter pushed the former as the man didn't want to be near a crocodile. "Come on, Vellian, it isn't that bad."

"Are you insane, Marik?! That is a goddamn crocodile!" Crowler whisper yelled at the fellow Chancellor.

"She doesn't bite at all. Unless you touch her while she eats, make her mad or even make Jim upset, everything will be fine." Marik whispered at him.

"But what if I do?!"

"You have a man that regularly bench presses her to get some muscle near you, you are going to be fine:"

"What if he has a delayed reaction?!"

"We have meat for crocodiles on standby if that ever happens, just go."

"I am going to reveal all of your Ancient Gear Golem Poems if you don't go." threatened Marik as Crowler was still as a statue as then he began to walk straight ahead.

"Bravo, bravo, all of you! You two have given us quite the duel, wouldn't you agree? Duel and South Academy?" asked Crowler as both South Academy and Duel Academy screamed out.

"YES!"

"Wonderful to hear, Tyranno Hassleberry," Dino Boy was still as Marik turned to him, "Even though you are not from my Academy you are still a great duelist with a lot of promise in the future. As long as you find new ways to complete your deck, then I am sure that you will go through all of your troubles, alright?"

"SIR YES SIR!" Hassleberry saluted him as Marik smiled at him.

"Great to hear that." said Marik as Crowler then turned to Jim.

"Jim Cook. You are someone that anyone would be proud to be your student. Not only that because of your dueling skills, but from what we have seen and heard, but from studying every day and giving people advice on how to get better like a teacher would. We are all proud to have you as our opponent today." praised Crowler as Jim nodded respectfully at him.

"I appreciate that, mate." said Jim as Shirley lowered her head which made the Ancient Gear Duelist smile.

"Now, let's give both of them a warm and respectful cheer for the amazing duel we have all seen!" yelled Crowler as then both South Academy and Duel Academy stood up to give the two the respect that they deserve as Hassleberry looked everywhere like a kid in an animated movie as Jim looked at everyone with a happy look on his face as the broadcasting ended.

Ageha, once the recording was done, flipped the channel to some Turkish Dramas making Shouma, Light Tsukiko, Strong and Dark Kuroda all look at her with angry looks on their faces.

"HOWIE was that fun!" said Jesse as Trevor walked up to the projector and turned it off, "Man, I woulda loved dueling both of those dudes! Especially that Jim fella."

Declan stood up with closed eyes as the screen fade to black. "Interesting. Both duelists have shown to be quite capable opponents even while enduring some less than optimal situations. No wonder father and his subordinate want all of them…" said Declan as he then looked at his locket, "For next year."

Once the cheering subdued, Crowler leaned in towards Marik, "Psst, I have something to tell you. Every year, the winner of the school duel gets a reward, more specifically, to the Chancellor."

Marik raised a brow, "Oh, I have heard about that. I always wondered why Shephard and Foster fought almost every year for that. What is it?"

Crowler could barely hold in his laughter, "Why would I ruin a surprise? Who would ruin a surprise party, am I right? You just have to find out. Your reward is in the Card Shop." Said Crowler as Marik began walking away with an excited look on his face.

"My reward, here I come!" yelled Marik as he walked straight towards one of the exits as the second years all turned to each other, fully understanding what will happen next to him.

Crowler stifled his laugh as he turned to both Jim and Hassleberry, "Now, this is all finished, I am sorry to tell you, but the entire event is finished. The submarine where all of you used will be arriving soon enough. I hope you enjoyed your time being on Academy Island."

"Don't worry, I had a blast being here." said Jim as he turned to Hassleberry, "Take what I said to heart, alright? Noone ain't going to leave you."

"I will, don't worry and thank you." said Hassleberry as he then began walking towards his friends.

"Anytime." said Jim as he then began to walk with Shirley to the exit where he went from, but then he spotted a familiar figure.

"Hello, Jim." said Sartorius with a smirk on his face.

"Ah… aren't you that Sartorius bloke that I heard from? The one that introduced yourself with that sheila, right?" asked Jim as Sartorius nodded.

"That is right, I am a professional manager for several duelists of high caliber, even with the one known as Aster Phoenix." said Sartorius as Jim didn't even react to that.

"Cool to hear that, he must be lucky to have you." said Jim as best that he can sound without sounding rude to sound suspicious. He can tell that Sartorius can tell that he knows about his hidden eye.

"He was pretty lucky." said Sartorius as Jim noted that was in the sentence, meaning that they had a breakup in their partnership, "Though, I was interested in something, or a couple of things, if you don't mind that is." said Sartorius as Jim had to back Shirley away so she doesn't harm him in any way.

"Sure, but I don't want to take up a lot of time, okay? I got a sub that I have to go to so I can catch some Zs." said Jim as Sartorius nodded.

"Of course, I understand." as then out of nowhere, a deck of cards appeared in his hands that weren't Duel Monsters, but rather a deck of Tarot Cards. "I am a fortune teller as well, some do it by looking into a globe, some by palmreading, but I do with Tarot cards as all of them can represent everyone and everything in the future. Quite interesting, don't you think? You specialize in the past while I specialize in the future, so what do you say? Interested?" aske Sartorius as Jim didn't look impressed.

"Nah, sorry, I don't believe in that do hickey Tarot Reading, confusing for me honestly, but hey you do you, I won't judge." said Jim as he was being honest. He focused more on the past and in the present, but not in the future. It didn't mean he didn't like to think about the future at times though.

"That is fair," said Sartorius as he looked into him, "However, aren't you interested in becoming a Professional Duelist? I will be your manager, if you don't mind. I will make sure that you will have the best time as a Pro Duelist in the circuit."

"Honestly, I was more thinking about becoming an archeologist rather than a Pro Duelist. It can be my side hobby though." said Jim as he always wanted to be an archeologist if his deck wasn't obvious enough.

"I see, but remember, my offer won't go away." said Sartorius as he then flicked his hand to reveal both the deck and card disappeared from his hand, "I was wondering if you were interested for a talk… about Destiny, fate and more specifically The Light?" Sartorius grinned as Jim shook his head.

"No, sorry, I am not interested and besides…" he wanted to say that he doesn't trust people that Shirley doesn't trust as she was quietly growling at him, but he stopped thinking about that, "I am quite tired from that brawl, wouldn't everyone be? So, sorry, I don't have a time for a chat and I have to go to a sub. Cheerio." said Jim as he and Shirley then walked away from him.

Sartorius smirked seeing that. It was interesting at how he handled that. He didn't raise suspicion once compared as anyone else would have given even the slightest of hints, but JIm did the best he has ever seen.

It seems as though it was almost like fate was on his side when Jim wasn't here during all of this.

At The Submarine

"Uhh, Chancellor," David as well as the other South Academy duelists, alongside Jim, looked at Marik as he had a massive pink lip mark on his cheek as he had a look of disappointment on his face once he walked up to his students/Steves. Even Mr. Tweetums Jr looked distraught. "What happened?"

"It is best that you don't know." said Marik as then he glared at Crowler who was snickering the entire time. He sighed, "Let's just go, everyone." He snapped his fingers as the door of the submarine opened up.

"Aww, do we have to? I wanted to explore this place." moaned Leo as Luna grabbed his ear.

"Leo! We have to go wherever you like it or not, so don't cry like a little baby!" yelled Luna as Jim laughed.

"She is more feisty than Shirley." thought to himself Jim as she saw her drag her brother to the submarine with David, Reggie and the other students walking towards the door. "Well mates, I gotta say, that was bloody fun to do! I had the time of my life dueling ya, mate!" said Jim as Hassleberry smirked at that.

"Yeah, but count your blessing cause the next time you and I brawl, I will come up on top." promised Hassleberry as Jim laughed.

"We will see. We will see." said Jim as he then turned to Aster, "Oi, mate, I saw and talked to your manager. Let's say that," he looked if he was here and to his fortune, he was nowhere to be found, "he has a few screws in his head."

Aster sighed, "That is putting it mildly."

"Right, but just hear me out… your friend, your old friend is still there. I promise you, he is still there somewhere." said Jim as Aster looked at him with a hopeful look on his face as then he smirked.

"Glad to hear that as… he will be back once I get to him."

Jim smiled as he saw from the corner of his eye Marik jumping into the submarine, "Well, before I go, mate," he turned to Jaden with a hopeful smile on his face, "I believe that you can save her. You can do it."

Jaden grinned, "You have my word, bro."

"Right, let's go Shirley," Jim, with Shirley on his back, turned around to wave goodbye to his new friends from Duel Academy, "Cheerio." He said as he then jumped into it.

Once that was done, he placed Shirley on the ground as the crocodile gave a position that showed him that he was able to rest after a long duel on her. He smiled as then he reached down to his old friend and used her body as a pillow.

The South Academy duelists rolled their eyes, but they couldn't do anything. Shirley and JIm were inseperabble. No matter what happens to them.

FINALLY DONE WITH THIS CHAPTER! 27 THOUSAND WORDS! ALMOST EXACTLY THAT AMOUNT! JEEZ LOUSIE! THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME!? Anyways, I hope all of you had fun with it. I did which I think was the most important part of it. Now, I have a lot to say, but I will begin it slowly.

There were some SML references here and there, specifically with the Wash Them Dishes joke as I thought that was hilarious. And a couple of YGOTAS references of course, but I tried to make Marik his own character even with that, okay? I hope you enjoyed his inclusion to this chapter and to show he is actually a competent Chancellor. Before you ask, the kids that were watching this duel were actually from the Yugioh OCG Structures Manga, which is alright.

I have a few things to say about this: The first is the scene between Jim and Jaden. I am not going to lie, I am a bit of a Saviourshipping guy myself, so I had to write this scene to do a lot of things. 1. To write more of these guys as they need more scenes together. 2. To show that Jim is a nice guy that will give all of his friends, even new ones, advice that would help them in the long run. 3. To show how everything is affecting Jaden which is important. And finally, 4. To hype up 2 duels (Jim Versus Haou in Season 3) and Jaden Versus Celina in this season. I hope you guys enjoyed that scene.

The duel in my opinion was pretty fun to write and plan out as I wanted to make both duelists try their best to beat each other and Jim coming up on top even while holding back a lot.

This Jim is actually kinda like the anime, but with one thing sprinkled from the Manga. The Tyrant Neptune. Now, I ain't gonna lie, the Manga DESTROYED my boy wrongfully as everything he did in the manga was OOC as hell so I had to do him justice. The Tyrant Neptune being a woman fits her design honestly and being Shirley's grandma was basically a nice little joke. This Jim is actually quite tough as I honestly think I made him the 2nd strongest out of the Overseas Champions, second only to Declan.

I have been watching a bit of Grojband actually and Corney (Corey X Laney) is adorable omg. I have been reading the JJK Manga and I am where Megumi pulled out a Domain Expansion against Reggie and the Black Clover Manga where Asta defeated Vetto. I am on Episode 389 of Bleach where Mayuri put out a drug on Toshiro, Kensei and Rose as he brutally kills off Giselle. Pretty fun.

Next chapter will be out…. WAY LATER ON! School has been kicking me down like a dog recently, so yeah, and I have to update my Black Clover fic, it has been 3 months, oops.
