Phoebe and John sat across from each other on a park bench, the chessboard between them illuminated by the dim glow of nearby streetlights. The night air was cool and quiet, adding an eerie ambiance to their late-night game.
As they pondered their moves, both Phoebe and John couldn't resist the temptation to cheat. Phoebe subtly tried to slide her knight into a more advantageous position while John surreptitiously adjusted the placement of his rook.
Their attempts at deception were met with knowing glances and suppressed chuckles, each catching the other in the act but refusing to call them out.
"You know, Phoebe, you're not fooling anyone with that sneaky move," John remarked with a grin.
Phoebe laughed, "And you think I didn't notice you trying to shuffle your pieces around? Nice try, but I've got my eye on you."
Despite their attempts to outwit each other, the game continued with an unspoken agreement to keep the playful cheating going. After all, what was a game of chess between two Ghostbusters without a little mischief?
