(First floor)
Remy looked up, only to notice Rogue standing at the bar. She was sipping on a cocktail, her eyes fixed on him with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Remy couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement at the unexpected encounter. He moved his eyes to his sister to notice that she was speaking to someone on her cellphone. Remy realized Zoe was on a business call. As he tried to figure out what kind of business.
Remy got up from his chair, leaving Victor and Logan alone at the VIP table as they watched dancers on the stage, and he made his way over to Roge at the bar to ask, "Do you have any idea who Zoe was speaking to?" Rogue said, "Mr. Spilotro." Remy realized his sister was dealing with mobs from Las Vegas.
Remy's heart raced as he processed the implications of Zoe's conversation with Mr. Spilotro. Zoe turned her head and peered at Remy. Remy realized Zoe could hear his heartbeat. Zoe's eyes narrowed as she caught Remy's gaze, her expression unreadable. Remy quickly looked away, feeling a sense of unease settle in the pit of his stomach. Rogue smiled and giggled.
"It looks like you've caught Zoe's attention," Rogue teased, causing Remy to feel even more uneasy. He knew he needed to speak to his sister about Mr. Spilotro. He learned that Zoe was dealing with a big mobster from Las Vegas. As his mind started trying to figure out what his sister had moved up into the big leagues dealing with mobster. He was trying to figure out how he could turn this into his favorite.
Zoe said, "Yes, sir, I can be in Las Vegas in two hours." Remy's heart raced as he tried to figure out what Zoe's involvement with Mr. Spilotro could mean. He couldn't shake the feeling that something big was about to happen. Rogue glanced over at Logan and Victor, watching dancers on the stage.
Rogue asked, "What about them?" Remy said, "Don't worry about them. They're just here for the show." Rogue nodded but couldn't shake the feeling that Logan and Victor were up to something more than just enjoying the entertainment.
Zoe hung up her cellphone and said, "Rogue, I need you to stay and watch the club while I'm gone." My apartment is on the third floor." "Logan and Victor are not allowed upstairs or to sleep with any of the entertainment." "Make sure they don't drink all the alcohol and they pay their bill?" As Rogue agreed. Zoe Shifter focused her eyes on her brother, reached for Remy by the arm, and led him to the hidden door that led up the stairs to the second floor to inform him about what she knew about Mr. Lanza.
(Second Floor)
Remy and Zoe headed to the second floor via the stairs. "What is going on?" Remy asked. "Hayley, I know you're hiding something." Zoe said, "I am the one who killed Mr. Lanza a few days ago." After slapping Zoe, Remy exclaimed, "What the fuck were you thinking?" "Mr. Anderson is going to be pissed." Zoe said that "Mr. Lanza was snitching and working with the police to bring us all down." "So I silenced him for good." Mr. Lanza had a case that I now had in his possession.
Remy peered at his sister and gave her a smile. "You never fail to surprise my little sister." Remy chuckled. "Let's figure out a plan before Mr. Anderson finds out what happened to Mr. Lanza." Zoe grinned back at Remy, showing off her fangs, relieved that her brother wasn't angry with her. "I have a feeling Mr. Anderson won't be too upset once he hears the whole story."
Remy said confidently. "But we need to make sure we're prepared for whatever comes next." Zoe said, "Beside Remy, you come with the best plans, and I always make sure they are followed out to the letter." Remy nodded in agreement, grateful for Zoe's optimism. "We make a good team," he replied.
"Is this where you are going to put poker tables?" Remy inquired as he turned to face the large space. "Yes, also put the bar in with the top alcohol beverages at a higher price than the one down stairs." Remy got the idea that his little sister was not only a great planner but also had a keen eye for maximizing profits. He couldn't help but feel proud of her business acumen.
Remy said, "Best idea on the layout for it." "Your big brother is here." "Help out the best; maximizing profits goes to the house." Thanking Remy for his attention to detail, Zoe grinned. "I'll make sure everything is set up perfectly for the poker tables," she promised him. With a grateful nod, Remy acknowledged that he would be a valuable addition to the team in planning the new second floor layout.
(The third floor)
Zoe and Remy turn and open the door, heading to the third floor to discover that the top floor was Hayley's apartment, Remy's apartment, and her office apartment. Zoe said, "While Rogue and yourself are here in Reno, the second apartment is yours." Remy's eyes widened in surprise at the generous offer, expressing his gratitude towards Zoe for her kindness. Zoe smiled warmly, happy to provide a comfortable space for Remy and Rogue during their stay in Reno.
Zoe said, "The third apartment is our office." Remy walked to the third apartment and noticed wall-to-wall screens showing the first floor. He sat down in his seat, reached over panel and changed the camera angles to see different areas of the first floor. The high-tech security system impressed Remy, making him feel even more grateful for Zoe's hospitality.
As he familiarized himself with the security system, Remy couldn't help but feel relieved, knowing they were in good hands. The advanced technology gave him peace of mind during their stay in Reno. The seamless integration of technology into their living space made Remy appreciate Zoe's attention to detail even more. With the security system in place, Remy felt confident in their safety and was able to relax and enjoy their time in Reno.
Remy thought Logan and Victor were after his little sister and didn't like it one bit. Coming up with plan keep Logan and Victor away from his sister, Remy realized he would need to devise a strategy to occupy Logan and Victor during Zoe's absence. Maybe he could recommend some things to do or places to go in the area that they could both check out.
On the believe that he was letting both Logan and Victor date Zoe. Remy made the decision to look into some entertaining and interesting things to do in Reno that would only suit the interests of Victor and Logan, not his sister. In addition to making sure they had a blast, he wanted to give Zoe some peace of mind while she was away.
Meanwhile, Zoe gets dressed in black leather and picks up her riding helmet. Heading threw a secret door into the third apartment to notice Remy watching screens. Zoe said, "Remy, I am heading out now." "I will call you if I get a new job." Remy turned his seat and said, "Let me know what happened with Mr. Spilotro." Don't worry, I spoke to Mr. Anderson about Mr. Lanza and his case." "Rogue and I will take care of business."
Zoe said, "OK! The case is a safe room, as she points at the wall. Remy realized Zoe was going to test him on his skills in getting in safe room. "I am taking the backstairs before anyone notices me." Zoe quickly exits the apartment, eager to start her mission. As she rides off into the night, Zoe can't shake the feeling that this mission will be more dangerous than she anticipated. She knows she must stay alert and trust her instincts to navigate through the unknown territory ahead.
