Let's keep the ball rolling sports fan, it's time for another chapter of the Sports Festival. Seems that a lot of you liked how I handled the fight between Shinso and Izuku. I tell you, I had it planned like that from the beginning, making Shinso the Magna Defender and not having him use his quirk against Midoriya. This was all after I watched the series and I like his personality in Season 5, plus a guy like him, having a quirk that many people would consider the power of a villain and trying to be a hero, that in turn makes him worthy of being a ranger in my eyes.

Speaking of which, I would like to advise you all that I write my own canon. Sure, most people stick to canon when they write crossovers, but when I read stories like Code Prime, Doom: The Unchained Predator, Gundam Seed: Prime, Journey to a New Battlefield, Fairy May Cry and such, I like how the authors divert from canon and write a story their way, with their own twists and personal touches. It's a neat touch, if I am being honest.

Oh, and I've got an idea for the Master Morpher, thanks to Goku Muto's Power Rangers: Hero Force story, but more on that later.

So, I put the poll up for the world's I want to use in my story is also up on my Deviant Art account, so if any of you frequent that site, cast a vote if you'd like.

But first, let's answer some reviews.

Aztec 13: Thanks. I wanted to make the fight between Izuku and Shinso more interesting than it was in the show. Like I said, I prefer to write my own canon and add my own touch. Endeavor will get knocked off his high horse, but also have a painful reminder about something he lost, many years ago, because of his actions, and maybe have a change. What Jinxer found wasn't just for Olympius, but for all monsters.

Luffy L Deathwalker: Don't you mean Natsu? I don't know of anyone named Darby, except for Jack Darby from Transformers: Prime.

KaijuEmperor: Yeah, I admit, Endeavor was never one of my favorite characters, but I do like his English dub voice actor, who did Scorpion, Laxus, Silverbolt, Agil, and many others. Plus, how he tries to be a better father in later seasons might happen sooner than you think. But you are right, he is a hypocrite, and I can see why his kids dislike him.

DCD Gojira: I've posted my poll on my DA profile, and I hope I get some votes on it. I'll keep that poll and the one on this site up until I finish the Sports Festival. Glad you liked the chapter. As for when the rangers will travel into said worlds, I'm still working on that, part but I think I know of the time it will be for Azur Lane and Spec Ops Asuka.

Alright, onto business. Disclaimers are the same as always.

Chapter 25: Battle on Challengers: Bracket One

UA High School

Stadium

Though he lost his match, Shinso felt proud of the effort he made in festival and made a personal note to do better next year. Granted, his chances of getting into the Hero Course were probably gone by now, but at the same time he held no regrets about not using his quirk.

"You did well, Shinso." Villamax said to the Magna Defender as he entered the tunnel. "You held your own, used your training and showed the crowd that you are not a villain, but a hero in making, all without using your quirk."

"I might not have made if far in the festival, but I think I left a good impression on the crowd." Shinso admitted with a rub on the back of his head. "Maybe I should train with Jason and the other Galaxy Rangers. You never know what the future holds when it comes to threats from monsters and villains."

"That is the right attitude to have." Villamax told his young student, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Come, let us go and get something to drink. You'll need to replenish your electrolytes after the sweat you worked up."

On the other side of the stadium, in the opposite tunnel, Izuku met with his own trainer. "Nice work, young Midoriya. I'll admit, you had me on the edge of my seat a few times."All Might told the young boy. "And you did it without even breaking any bones in your body. I'm impressed."

"Well, I didn't really use my quirk, so I don't really think I made much of an impression on the crowd or any scouts." Izuku admitted, kind of looking depressed. "I mean, sure, Shinso didn't use his quirk and challenged me to fight him without using my own quirk, so I guess maybe I could have…"

A hand placed on his shoulder by All Might stopped his rambling. "You choose to use your physical strength instead of relying on One For All, because you still have a lot of work to do to master it. You made the right choice. After all, there have been times where heroes, even me, have to use their own physical strength instead of their quirk." All Might said with a smile. "Now go join the rest of your class, you still have a way to go, young man."

While Izuku headed to the stands, elsewhere in the stadium, Shoto noticed that the green haired boy had advanced to the next round, not surprisingly Shoto was looking forward to his match with Izuku. "Looking forward to your match with Midoriya, are you Shoto?" came the voice of Alpha who walked into view, surprising the half-and half user. "Oh, sorry about that. I didn't mean to startle you; just thought you could use a drink." The robot explained, gesturing to the squeeze bottle in his hands.

"Oh, thanks." Shoto replied, grabbing the bottle and squeezed it, refreshing his thirst. "You're an ally of the rangers, right?" Shoto asked.

"I am indeed." Alpha answered, taking the bottle back from Shoto. "Is there something you want to know about a specific ranger team?"

"Actually, I want to know everything about the enemies of the rangers." Shoto answered. "Considering that their enemies are getting stronger and are powerful enough to reawaken an extinct volcano, I need to know what I might end up facing in the future."

"Does this also apply to you… well… you know." Alpha asked, careful not to reveal the status of Natso and Fuyumi as rangers, especially from their father, who had just rounded a corner. "Oh, hello."

Endeavor ignored Alpha and looked at his son. "Stop acting so disrespectfully, Shoto. If you simply used your left side, you would have had an outstanding victory. It's time for you to…" Endeavor started, but Shoto ignore him.

"I don't need to listen to you, you bastard. I'll win and advance using only mom's quirk. The day I use my left side, is the day you wake up and realize that I'm not you, nor will I ever be you." Shoto snarled, walking away and leaving a shocked Endeavor.

'Shoto's always had a rebellious streak, but lately it's gotten worse with every passing day. Spending time with the rangers must have increased his rebellious nature. Damn you Nezu, why did you even allow those quirkless teenagers into this school? You're only increasing their popularity and making people support them instead of us, the real heroes in this world.' Endeavor thought with a snarl and clenched his fist.

Back in the stadium, the atmosphere was just as loud as ever as the crowd cheered with excitement, just as Izuku took a seat in the Class A stands. "Izuku! You were awesome out there, man." Kirishima congratulated.

"I agree, your combat skills were astonishing, and you fought without even using your quirk, impressive." Iida praised.

"Yeah, where did you learn how to fight like that?" Sato asked.

"Where do you guys think? He obviously learned it from Connor." Nejire said with pride. "Those were some of Connor's moves and I agree, you were almost like Bruce Lee or Chuck Norris down there. You were amazing." She praised.

"I can't take all the credit, I had a good teacher." Izuku admitted with a small blush that made Connor proud of his best friend. "I mean, having a quirk can only get you so far, but having some actually combat training helps."

As Izuku once again began to mutter, Connor felt the world around him suddenly shift and change. Like before, he was shown the sight of a battlefield and those monstrous stuffed animals, but this time he saw more than we saw last time. He saw a girl with blonde hair tied in a pony tail, armed with an HK 416 assault rifle firing at the monsters, while another girl with black hair and pig tails flailed around a set of nun chucks at the creatures, and another one dressed like a nurse with a large needle that they swung at the monsters. Another girl, wearing something akin to a French combat dress tried desperately to reach for another girl, who was pulled into a slime like monster and melted down completely to the bone.

The sight of the girl being melted down made him want to vomit before the scene shifted again. This time, Connor found himself standing on the deck of an aircraft carrier, as planes like the F6F Hellcat launched from the deck, while a girl in a frilly looking maid dress with white hair fired a set of torpedoes at a red-highlighted ship, which then sunk rapidly beneath the waves upon the impact of the torpedoes, while another girl, this one a child in a white dress with curly lavender hair and holding a stuffed unicorn was ordered to flee the battle.

The scene shifted again, this time to a city where once again, the same fireman with flaming feet flew through the city, charging headfirst into the direction of multiple 'people' set a flame and walking like zombies. The fireman in question had a sort of devilish looking grin on his face, but for some reason, Connor didn't think of them as a monster.

But what stood out in each of the worlds he saw, was the sight of Olympius, ordering his allies and foot soldiers to attack the people he saw, overwhelming them while those he assumed to be the enemies of the people, he saw in each scene appeared behind the demon prince.

His vision returned to normal, thanks to the loud and booming voice of Present Mic. "Alright! It's time for the fourth brackets second match to begin! He's got skills at the expense of having some freaky lookin' elbows, from Class 1-A, Hanta Sero!" Mic announced as Sero walked onto the field. "Also from Class A, a student whose way too strong for his own good and got into the hero course on recommendation, Shoto Todoroki!"

With both students having taken to the field, the bell rang, and the match began. Right out the gate, Sero opened with a swift attack with his tape quirk, wrapping it around Shoto's body in attempt to fling him out of bounds, but as Shoto was thrown towards the boundary, the half-and-half quirk user used his feet to freeze the ground, with the ice quickly finding it's way to Sero, and created a burst that shook the entire stadium.

"Sorry." Shoto apologized, as Sero was encased in a giant wave of ice, which not only left half of the arena, but also caused Midnight to shiver in her boots as her entire right side was frozen.

"Be honest with us, Sero. Can you move?" Midnight asked.

"A-A-Are y-you k-k-kidding me?! O-Obviously not! I-I can't f-f-feel my e-entire b-b-body." Sero stuttered.

"Sero has been eliminated! Todoroki advances to the next round!" Midnight announced, resulting in the crowd saying only one thing that could to the frozen boy.

"Nice Try! Nice Try! Nice Try! Nice Try!"

Todoroki approached the frozen Sero and used his flames to melt the ice encasing Sero. "Sorry. I didn't mean to go overboard. I was angry, that's all." Shoto told Sero.

Back in the stands, everyone in Class A, even Nejire, and the rangers were surprised at how strong Shoto was. "Wow, Todoroki's strength, it's unlike anything I've seen before." Ochako admitted with a bit of nervousness in her voice.

"I knew he was strong, but this is not like anything I expected." Melissa agreed.

"He looked angry." Anthony noted. "Must have been because of his father and his position as the Number 2 hero or it could be that Endeavor was trying to get him to use his fire."

"Come on, the Flame Hero can't be that bad, can he?" Sato asked with skepticism.

"Don't bet on it." Jiro said, having heard much of the conversation between Shoto and his father. "Endeavor might have the most arrests then many of the heroes on the charts, but his personality leaves a lot to be desired."

"He might be the number two hero, but he's still got plenty to learn." TJ said.

"Alright! Let's move onto the third match of the first bracket! From the east gate, this dreadlock girl and her goggles are one of the most interesting first years, but don't let her looks fool you, she's one gadget equipped dynamite. From the Support Course, it's Mei Hatsume! Versus… One of the fastest students alive, the student with the engines in his legs, Tenya Iida from Class 1-A!" Mic shouted with excitement as both Hatsume and Iida stepped onto the field. Although, the students of Class A, Nejire, the rangers, both in the stadium and watching from wherever there was a tv, were more surprised at Iida's 'attire'.

The spectacled representative of Class 1-A was wearing a sort of brace on his body, with his legs armed with struts and vented knee covers, along with a strange looking shoulder mounted apparatus with two pairs of small wings, and three tiny tubes on each side. "Where the heck did, he get that?" Sato questioned aloud.

"He looks ridiculous if you ask me." Shinso said as he took a seat in the Class A stands, with Villamax standing by the doorway.

"Hero Course students are not allowed to use support gear without the proper paperwork!"Midnight shouted with a serious glare.

"I wasn't told anything about this! Aoyama got to wear his belt!" Tenya snapped with a gasp.

"He filled out the proper paperwork!"Midnight stated.

"I apologize, ma'am." Iida began with remorse. "It's… It's just that my heart was moved by my opponent's sportsmanship. She wanted a fair fight as much since she invented this equipment, so she lent it to me, as it was only fair as she was using her own gear."

There was a pause before Midnight finally spoke up. "SUCH YOUTHFUL VIGOR! Ooohoohoohoo! I'll allow it!" she said with a squirm, much to the surprise of Mic and the audience.

"Don't tell me, she's actually going through with this crazy plan of hers?" Melissa groaned with a hand to her head.

"What crazy plan?" the rangers, Nejire and Class A students asked at once.

The bell rang and Tenya ran forward, just as Mei turned on her own microphone. "Betcha you love how fast those braces make you, right specs?" Mei asked through her microphone. "Don't you just love how light those braces make your legs lighter? I designed those parts to specifically increase the wearers mobility and speed. But I can easily evade you with my hydraulic attachment."

"She's using her match as a way to show case her inventions to the support companies watching the festival. Auto balancers, sensors, electromagnetic soles, and capture gun. She's basically turning her match into one big commercial and she managed to trick Iida into being her crash test dummy and she's got plenty more inventions she plans on showcasing." Melissa groaned.

Ten minutes later

"I think I've showed off everything I wanted to. Suppose it's time for me to wrap things up." Mei said, wiping the sweat from her brow after showcasing all of her inventions she had with her, then casually stepped over the boundary line, much to the surprise of Midnight who gave a very annoyed Iida the win. "You've been a big help to me, specs. Thanks for that."

Skull Cavern

The 'match' if it could be called that was found amusing to the forces gathered by Olympius who could barely contain themselves. "AH Ha Ha Ha Ha!" Goldar and Elgar laughed loudly.

"Oh man!" Rito laughed while clenching his sides. "That was a riot! I felt like I was gonna bust a gut from watching that!"

Ecliptor found the match amusing, chuckling under his breath.

"HA HA HA! What an idiot!" Darkonda said aloud.

Treacheron, Deviot, Moltor, Flurious, Scorpina and Miratrix found the laughed their heads off, but the generals of the Machine Empire, while also finding the match amusing, studied Mei's equipment and scanned every detail, finding the inventions interesting.

Even Olympius and Jinxer found the match amusing and laughed as well.

UA Stadium

"Well, that was uh… an interesting match." Mic admitted, before he cleared his throat. "Well then, let's move onto match four of the first bracket. From Class A, he's a student with a charge so powerful, it can charge your and has an electric personality, Denki Kaminari." Mic announced, as Kaminari smirked with a cocky grin. "Versus, the assassin from Class B, the beautiful flower with thorns, Ibara Shiozaki!"

"Excuse me!" Ibara called out, catching Mic off-guard as said student walked to the edge of the battlefield. "Please pardon my interruption, but I don't understand why you called me an assassin. I've come to this festival in search of victory, not to take my opponents life."

"Sorry about that." Mic apologized.

But Ibara wasn't finished. "Gentleman, I didn't enter U.A. for wicked or selfish reasons, but to deliver salvation to others." She went on, almost like a light from heaven was shining down on her. "It's my humble quest to spread true good across the world."

"Look, I said I was sorry, alright. I didn't mean to make it out like you're a killer." Mic apologized, which Ibara found to be satisfactory.

"Guess Present Mic should have thought of some better words to describe Ibara." Lena noted from the stands, taking a bite of her hot dog. "Asui said that she comes from a very religious family, so that probably explains why she didn't take too kindly about being called an assassin."

"Please, call me Tsu." Tsu reminded the yellow ranger.

"Right, sorry about that." Lena apologized. "Force of habit."

"Yeah, Shiozaki is like that." Tetsutetsu said from the Class-B stands, looking at Lena and the Class A students. "She's really religious, but that's just who she is. Nothing wrong with that, but she's honest and honorable, I mean she even didn't go along with Monama's plan to throw the obstacle course."

"Ok, you really got to do something about that guy." Ojiro pointed out.

Back on the field, Kaminari was still looking cocky. "Who'd have thought we would be fighting each other." Denki said with a grin. "I mean, you, me, the guy who looks like he's a Wookie, Jiro, Momo, Anthony and Lena fought together at the USJ against those monsters. Must be fate. Either way, I'll make sure I don't go easy on you, let's give it our all."

"Well, as they say, it's your move." Ibara challenged, just as Midnight announced the start of the match.

"This match will be over in two seconds, but I'm still going to go all out!" Denki announced, charging his electricity to maximum. "Indiscriminate Shock 1.3 Million Volts!" he shouted, sending an electric blast towards Ibara, but she turned her back to him and commanded her hair to create a shield of vines to protect her from the shock.

Of course, using his Indiscriminate Shock forced Denki into his dumb state, allowing Ibara to counterattack by sending her vines directly at him, wrapping him up and hanging him over the stage. "Kaminari has been immobilized! Ibara moves to the second round!" Midnight announced.

"Alright, Shiozaki! Way to represent Class 1-B!" Tetsutetsu cheered, but then looked back to Class A. "Don't get me wrong, Kaminari's good and all, but he really didn't stand a chance against Shiozaki."

"But he was right, this match was over in two seconds." Monoma said tauntingly, shoving Tetsutetsu aside. "I wonder if his real quirk is the ability to tell the future. Hey, wasn't Class A supposed to be better than us?" he said with a laugh.

"Laugh it up, copycat." Connor said, annoyed by Monoma's taunting. "The matches are just getting started and there are still more fights to come before your girl is up again." Putting on a black baseball cap with an orange bird in the middle of a circle on his head. "Then again, I wouldn't expect someone who wants to show up his classmates, who were at the same place as your class when the attack happened." He reminded.

"YOU'RE ONE TO TALK! CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT YOU AND THE OTHER RANGERS AREN'T EVEN TAKING PART IN THE GAMES!" Monoma yelled, only to get smacked on the back of the head by Kendo, knocking him out.

"Sorry about him." she apologized to Class A and the rangers, then noticed Connor's hat. "Nice hat."

'I hate that guy.' Jiro, Momo, Mina and Laura thought in their heads.

Alright, the first four matches of the first bracket are done. We'll see more match's next time.

So, I got some bad news again. Another person I know passed away recently and let's just say, she was a nice person. I'm going to miss her, but I know she's with her dog up in heaven now. Now I just need to find a way to cheer up her husband, who really is good with tools.

Anyway, I just finished Bullet Storm: Full Clip Edition and oh boy, it is so funny with the humor. Wish they would hurry up and make a second one and include an automatic shotgun, submachine gun, rocket launcher and such.

Well, until next time. Please read and review. Oh remember to vote on my poll.
