LANDING PAD ON CORUSCANT
The Falcon lifts off the ground and heads towards the atmosphere.
SPACE ABOVE CORUSCANT
The Falcon enters hyperspace.
POINT IN SPACE
The Lucente, an imperial indicator cruiser, two New Republic cruisers, and an old freighter are waiting in space.
Admiral Ozzard will command the Star Destroyer Lucente. General D'ect will command the indicator cruiser. General Iblis will command a republican cruiser. Admiral White will command the other republican cruiser. Fighter squadrons are assigned to one of the a fore mentioned ships
INDICATOR BRIDGE
General D'ect looks out the view ports to study the small fleet. He turns to nods to a tech that sends the signal to the rest of the fleet.
POINT IN SPACE
All five ships jump into hyperspace.
CARGO HOLD OF THE FALCON
Rey is practicing with the remote. Loreanna is observing. The remote shoots three shots and Rey perfectly blocks all of them. Rey closes down her lightsaber and looks to Loreanna for comment.
Loreanna Solfel: "That last block was your own judgment. You're still not totally letting the Force flow through you."
Rey sighs: "It's hard."
Loreanna Solfel: "It is hard. Which is why you really need a…"
She stops speaking as Zedric walks into the room carrying a helmet with a blast shield. The ysalamiri is draped across his shoulders. Rey looks curiously at Loreanna—who is smiling in a knowing way—wondering why she suddenly stopped talking. Zedric walks right up behind her and holds out the helmet so she can see it. Rey jumps at the sudden appearance of an arm and helmet appearing like magic at the edge of her field of vision. She spins only to stumble in shock to see a person standing behind her. Zedric tosses the helmet to Loreanna before turning and leaving. As he exits, Finn enters the cargo hold.
Finn sees Rey on the floor: "Rey, are you okay?"
Rey: (as she stands) "Yeah, I'm okay." (to Loreanna) "How did he sneak up like that? I didn't sense anything?"
Loreanna approaches and hands Rey the helmet.
Loreanna Solfel: "That creature on his shoulders is called a ysalamiri. Ysalamiri are powerful Force-creatures that use the Force to smoother or blind others' Force abilities and senses."
Finn: "They what?"
Loreanna Solfel: "They essentially make it impossible for anyone near them to use the Force."
Rey: "If you can't use the Force around them, why does Master Solo have one?"
Loreanna Solfel: "Because my brother is one of two people in the galaxy who can sort of use the Force around them. Now" (she hands the helmet to Rey) "back to practice."
COCKPIT OF THE FALCON
Zedric is in the pilot's spot. There's a ysalamiri on his lap gumming on a piece of bamboo like reed. BB-8 is behind him plugged into a droid socket. Loreanna is in the copilot's chair. Outside the view port, a battle between First Order and New Republic fighters is ending. The door opens and the Nightsister Suursaadik enters the cockpit.
Nightsister Suursaadik: (her voice echoes slightly) "It is time."
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel nods then turns to BB-8: "Once were on the other side, start scanning. I want a record of everything."
BB-8 whistles an affirmative.
Nightsister Suursaadik takes a jump seat and begins chanting. Green light emits from her body and spreads likes mist across the ship.
SPACE
Green mist spreads across the entire the Millennial Falcon and slowly the ship fades until a barely visible outline with wisps of lingering green mist here and there.
COCKPIT OF THE FALCON
Nightsister Suursaadik gives a brief nod that all is ready as she keeps chanting. Zedric takes the controls and flies towards the battle.
SPACE
The concealed Millennial Falcon flies directly into a nearly finished battle zone.
UPPER GUN TURRET
Rey is watching from the upper gun turret her hands relaxed off the firing controls as First Order ships fly right past the Falcon.
LOWER GUN TURRET
Finn has one hand rest relaxed on the firing controls.
SPACE
The Falcon perfectly weaves its way through enemy ships until it arrives almost directly in front of the First Order freighter ship. The hanger bay doors are wide open and they can see straight through to a large empty hanger as if they are looking through a window rather than a bridge across space. The twenty-four Kyber crystals around the oval shaped doorway to the Unknown are glowing slightly.
COCKPIT OF THE FALCON/GUN TURRETS
No one moves or says as words as they stare transfixed at the scene. A scavenger ship flies through the opening in space followed by another. Both pass by within feet of the hidden Falcon. Everyone waits. Zedric's hands rest lightly on the controls—waiting for a visible ship to pass through the opening. Once the First Order ship passes, the Falcon accelerates towards the hole in the wall and flies through it.
MASSIVE FIRST ORDER HANGER
The Falcon emerges into a massive enclosed tunnel.
COCKPIT OF THE FALCON
Zedric suddenly slams the controls forwards to accelerate. Everyone in the cockpit in pushed back against their seats as BB-8 squells a bit as he slides back a big. The tunnel flashes by outside the view port.
TUNNEL FROM THE GATE
The Falcon approaches the edge of the tunnel.
COCKPIT OF THE FALCON
Zedric pulls up on the controls right as the Falcon reaches the edge of the tunnel
MASSIVE FIRST ORDER HANGER
The Falcon shoots upwards and slams to a halt seconds before a large First Order medic ship enters the tunnel. The Falcon levels off and hovers in a enourmous empty hanger. The hanger has four exits/entrances. The tunnel that leads to the Force bridge is below and behind the Falcon. The opening of the tunnel has blast doors on both sides. The other exits/entrances are to the right, left, and directly ahead of the tunnel. All three of those openings are massive chutes that curve upwards and out of sight.
Another First Order ship coming form the chute on the right and flies under the hovering Falcon.
COCKPIT OF THE FALCON
Zedric briefly studies each chute before turning the Falcon towards the one on the right..
MASSIVE FIRST ORDER HANGER
The Falcon enters the chute.
INSIDE THE CHUTE
The chute curves at an upward angle slight enough that a ship can still maintain full speed though Zedric flies at only half speed to let the scanners pick up more information. The chute is well lit. The Falcon passes at least two ray shield generators.
COCKPIT OF THE FALCON
BB-8 chirps about the generators
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel: "Ray shield generators? How many so far?"
BB-8 beeps again.
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel: "That many." (sigh) "Got to give the First Order points for top notch security."
UNKNOWN REGION: PLANET XXXX
They emerge from the chute into the open air over an enormous airfield filled with all types of ships that stretches for miles and miles. The area around the opening is very secure. Above their chute are a dozen of First Order additional fighters circling in a holding pattern ready to dive into the chute at a moments notice. To the right where the center chute should emerge is a large factory. Meaning the straight chute emerges right into the factory. Further off, the other chute also opens into air and a First Order scavenger ship is flying into it. The line of scavenger ships waiting to descend is very organized.
COCKPIT OF THE FALCON/GUN TURRETS
BB-8 whistle in surprise as the ship scanners feed him data. Zedric turn the Falcon casually away from the airfield. Loreanna's mouth tightens with determination. Rey reaches to grab her missing locket. Finn is wide-eyed. Nightsister Suursaadik has her eyes closed and is still calmly chanting.
UNKNOWN REGION PLANET XXXX
The Falcon continues to rise and then turns and flies away from the airfield and Force-bridge.
POINT ON XXXX
The airfield is visible in the distance. The Falcon is on the ground—no long hidden by the green mist—in a clearing surrounded by small trees. Zedric with the ysalamiri in a nutrient framed backpack—like a pack made out of bamboo—on his back, Chewbacca, and Rey are covering the ship in camo-cloth. Loreanna, Finn, and BB-8 are outside scanning the parameter for signs of any activity. The sun shines far above them. In a tight cluster opposite the sun are three large full moons. Loreanna puts down her binoculars satisfied that the area is clear. Finn and BB-8 move towards her.
BB-8 twitters that his area is clear.
Finn: "My area as well. No signs of any activity.'
Loreanna nods in understanding. Then she takes out a small projection tool and places it on the ground. The hyperspace map of the Unknown appears. Loreanna studies the map.
The projection tool looks like a bagel with a large marble (which is the map) in the middle.
Finn looks up and notices the three full moons.
Finn: "I think we are on Alpha 42."
Loreanna looks back at him with a questioning glance.
Finn moves closer and gestures towards the map: "I don't know where it is, but the Unknown is divided into five areas: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Zeta. Each planet in each area is numbered."
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel: "And this is Alpha 42?"
Finn: "I'd heard that Alpha 42 is a military world with three large moons, so"
He ends letting her come to the conclusion on her own.
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel: "Don't the planets have names?"
Finn shakes his head: "They might have once, but now they're only known by their sector and number."
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel: "I see."
She uses her binoculars to study the airfield in the distance: "Our top priority will be to get as much information as we can about that airfield." She turns towards Finn: "Will there be a town outside the base?"
Finn: "Yes, by standard order, it will be on the other side of the airfield."
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel: "Then we better dress for the event."
ON THE BRIDGE OF AN OLD FRIEGHTER
Three technicians in vac suits are on the bridge of the old freighter that's about twice the size of the Millennial Falcon running a check on the recently installed slave circuit into the freighter. The bridge doors open and Poe floats in also wearing a vac suit. He goes up to one of the controls and opens up a holo-channel to Aide O'brey and Aide Ark.
Aide O'brey: (to Poe) "The generals wish to know if you are satisfied with what's been done?"
Poe: "Your crews have stripped this ship down to the bare bones" (approval) "She's as light as desired."
Aide Ark: "The engines have been upgraded to handle the maneuver you've requested and the slave circuit has been installed and tested."
Poe: "Thanks." (tone implies that it has been awhile) "Any further news from Ezra One?"
Aide O'brey: (mild concern) "None since their initial communication just after they arrived and the one shortly after giving a brief indication of possible enemy numbers."
Aide O'brey's concern is echoed on Poe's face.
Aide Ark: (chipper) "General says not to worry. Solos may be terrible at following regulations, but he'd put his life fortune on betting that any team with a Solo on it will get the job done one way or another."
CIVILIAN TOWN ON ALPHA 42
The three moons above are are now all third quarter moons.
Both Loreanna and Zedric are wearing First Order gray military uniforms with a yellow stripe on both pant legs. Zedric is wearing a shoulder bag that has a worm like bulge in it. BB-8's white spots have been repainted light gray and his orange spots a dark gray to match military modals. Rey and Finn are dressed in blue and green course clothing that is common among the First Order civilian population.
The natives and non-natives are also dressed in various colors save for gray and black and only white accents. The natives of Alpha 42 are humanoid aliens with leathery skin and beautiful long hair. Their eyes always seem to be wide open and their faces are longer than humans. Their cheeks are sunken in like a starving person, which is a healthy look for them. Embedded on each of their foreheads is a yellow small diamond shaped gem. They speak Basic with a bare click to their words.
Over half of the First Order citizens have the the symbol of the Supreme Leader printed above their hearts...or right side of their chest for those species whose hearts are elsewhere. It's the same symbol on Warden Exivy's uniform: an infinity symbol with sun rays coming coming out from behind it.
The mark of the Supreme Leader is a mark of those who not only dedicate themselves to the First Order, but also the personal philosophies of the Supreme Leader.
Citizens of the First Order and non-military government are not allowed to carry blasters. They may carry stun shots like Ezra Bridger had in Rebels or stun batons like Finn used to rescue Poe. There are a few other weapons that are also legal for them to carry. That said, unless there is a need, the vast non-military majority do not carry any type of weapon. Off duty combat troopers may carry a blaster. A yellow stripe is for pilots, which are not allowed to wear blasters, so neither Loreanna nor Zedric have a blaster. Of course, Loreanna has half a dozen hidden weapons on her. Finn and Rey also have a small hidden blaster. Zedric only has his lightsabers.
Finn and Rey are walking through a what looks like a temporary farmer's market near a brick and mortar cafe that has several outdoor tables. Loreanna and Zedric are already seated at one of those table with BB-8 by their feet. There are a few dozen local and members of the military also walking/milling around the area. The farmer's market is on the left of the cafe. To the right of the cafe is a large open area and on the other side is an entrance gate to the airfield. The gate has a guard station on one side with two guards and then built into the wall on both sides of the gate about halfway up are two cannon turrets. Both cannons shift to ready position every time someone or something approaches the gate. About thirty feet from the gate is a large detector (like a metal detector at an airport) big enough for an entire truck to drive through.
As a truck approaches the gate, Rey and Finn stop at one of the final stalls of the market across from the cafe. Rey picks up a necklace that has several ornaments including a small pendant similar to the locket taken from her.
Native: "That mining and craftsmanship are all done locally."
The native is an elderly female.
Rey: (showing interest) "Oh."
She shifts as if she wants to look at all the ornaments in the sunlight in order to give herself a perfect view of a supply truck. Finn stands behind Rey as if he is studying her reaction while he is also covertly watching the action at the gate.
As the truck stops in front of the detector, the cannons shift to ready position as a First Order trooper comes out of the guard station with a datapad. The other guard remains on alert safe in the guard house ready to sound the alarm. The trooper holds up the datapad to the driver who slides an ID card before placing his bare hand on a bio-scanner. The bio-scanner flashes green. The trooper walks over and powers on the scanner. His comrades manning the cannons stand ready in case someone tries to sneak attack. No one does and the trooper finishes activating the scanner. He waves the driver to move forward. The driver does slowly and stops once his truck is through. The scanner sends the results to the trooper with the datapad who carefully studies it before walking over to the guard station to compare it through the window to the information that the other guard trooper is studying. The all clear is given and the gate opens. The truck slowly drives through the gate. The guard trooper remains outside the gate sweeping the area until the gate has closed again. Only then does he return to inside the guard house.
Rey's expression changes to not interested as she puts down the necklace.
Finn taking up the cue: "Do you not like it dear?"
Rey: (to the native) "It is beautifully crafted." (to Finn) "Still, it's not exactly what I want. Let's go home."
Finn: "Okay dear."
She takes Finn's hand. He quickly covers his delight and the pair turn and walk away. As they are walking away, Rey's attention is suddenly drawn to the nearly empty sky. She studies the nearly empty air trying to figure out what drew her attention when a ship rises in the air in the far distance and turns towards town staying close to the ground.
Finn breaks her concentration: (low warning tone) "Quit staring. It's suspicious."
Rey looks at him: (quietly) "What is that ship?"
Finn: (low) "What ship? I…"
He trails off as he sees the ship. It's a scout ship (like the one he and Poe used to escape) flying slowly towards the city. His expression flickers to horror as he suddenly realizes something. He unconsciously grips Rey's hand. .
Finn: (hisses quietly) "We've got to go now."
Finn: (loudly enough to be heard without sounding forced as he ignores Rey's questioning look) "Of course we can go to the cafe if you're hungry dear."
Still holding Rey's hand, he guides her to the cafe. Loreanna's back is towards them, but Zedric gestures their direction as if he is pointing out something behind them. Loreanna turns around in her seat, her gaze only briefly takes in Finn's fearful look before she appears to focus on what caught Zedric's attention. She is still focused on the distant interest when Rey and Finn walk past and sit at a table next to them. As soon as they sit, holographic menus pop up in front of each of them. Only after Rey and Finn sit does Loreanna turn back and comment to Zedric.
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel: (acting voice) "I think that stall was closed last week ."
Zedric cocks his head as if considering the matter as he takes a careful sip of his beverage. The bulge in his shoulder bag wiggles a bit and he pulls out a bamboo like shoot and puts it gently into the bag.. Loreanna picks up her drink and also leans back casually, which puts her a few inches from Rey and Finn.
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel: (as she stares at the sky-whispers) "What's wrong?"
Finn turns and reaches over as if pointing out something on Rey's menu: "There's a scout ship coming into town."
BB-8 twitters so what
Finn: (softly-still point out something on the menu) "If I'm right, it's scanning for ID chips."
Rey: (hushed) "ID chips? Do you mean like the ones attached to the poison capsule that was in your arm?"
Finn nods: "We're told they're mandatory ID chips to maintain public order. Every now and then they scan to make sure everyone has an active chip. You can guess what happens if you show up on their life scans without one."
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel takes a sip: "We'll need to block out our heat signatures. BB-8 scan for the closest largest heat source."
BB-8 beeps a quiet affirmative and silently starts to scan.
The scout ship has covered half the distance and is almost to the city. No one else seems to care or notice the ship.
BB-8 twitters silently that he's found a bakery a few blocks away from the cafe.
Rey: (to Finn) "Nothing looks appetizing here." She flips a switch and the menus disappear. "Let's go elsewhere."
Finn nods and they walk away towards the bakery. Loreanna and Zedric finish their drinks with all apparent ease. Loreanna gets up and starts to walk away with BB-8 following her. Behind her, Zedric hands a waiter some money and then Force gestures subtly while murmuring too quietly to hear. The waiter nods, smiles, and walks away. Zedric catches up with Loreanna and the pair hasten without any appearance of being in a hurry.
The scout ship is only a minute from reaching town.
ALLEYWAY BEHIND SEVERAL BUSINESSES
Loreanna, Finn, Rey, BB-8, and Zedric are in a large alleyway big enough for a single delivery truck. The alleyway cuts all the way through the block and an arrow shows it is a one way street. There are businesses on both sides of the alleyway/delivery road. Each business has a garage like door for large deliveries and a standard sized door for entry. Each back door has a logo identifying what type of business. The crew is in front of one with a bakery symbol. The bakery is the second of seven businesses in the row.
Loreanna is fiddling with the lock. She hisses in frustration. The others are huddled near her except Zedric who is several feet back. Then in almost perfect unison with Rey and Zedric, Loreanna glances towards the street. An instant later, Loreanna is on her feet away from the door as a hooded human female figure comes around the corner.
The smothering or blinding effect of a single ysalamiri is about a six foot diameter sphere. Those beyond six feet are not influenced by the creature's Force ability to project a sense of nothingness. That is why Zedric often stands apart from the others.
Nightsisters are unaffected by ysalamiri since their abilities differ from Force wielders such as Jedi and Sith. If the Force were a rainbow, the Jedi/Sith use the blue light. The abilities of a ysalamiri are like a filter that filter out the blue light. Hence why Nightsisters who use the red light are still able to function.
The hooded figure is wearing a dark brown robe. Her clothing under the robe is a simple pale yellow and tan tunic and top.
The hooded figure stops momentarily to study the group. Her gaze lingers on Rey before she marches up to the bakery door. She enters a code into the number pad and the door slides open. She walks into the building. Without pausing, Zedric walks past the others and follows. Loreanna throws one look in the direction of the scout ship before following Zedric. Rey, Finn, and BB-8 follow her.
BAKERY UTILITIES ROOM
The door from outside opens into a small—hardly big enough for six people—utilities area. Directly to the left once inside the door is a large hallway that bends out of sight. Distance voices indicate it leads to the kitchen and storage area. In the utilities room, the backsides of four ovens are fully exposed as are all the piping and instruments that show temperature, power levels, coolant for the fridges, water, etc.
The hooded figure is gone by the time Finn and BB-8 enter the small room. Rey opens her mouth to ask where the person went and Zedric gestures for her to be silent motioning towards the sounds coming from the kitchen. Rey nods her understanding and settles down near Finn to wait.
BAKERY UTILITIES ROOM
Zedric is sitting calmly sweat covering his face fanning the ysalamiri that is out of the bag and mewling slightly and quietly from discomfort. Loreanna has removed her outer jacket. She is also sweating. Rey used to the heat is not sweating. Finn is sweating and fanning himself with his hand.
Suddenly a hidden door opposite of the hallway to the kitchen quietly slides open. The hooded figure gestures for them to follow. Everyone stands and Zedric puts the ysalamiri back into the bag. Then he and the others follow the person up a narrow staircase—Zedric uses the Force to life BB-8—to a landing with two apartment doors. The hooded figure opens one of the doors and gestures for them to enter. Zedric puts BB-8 down and marches right past the hooded figure into the room. The others follow. The hooded figure looks around before entering and closing the door.
APARTMENT ABOVE THE BAKERY
The door opens into the kitchen area of a narrow apartment. There is a small island in the kitchen. Seven steps forward and the resident is in a small living room area sunk a few inches deeper into the floor. There is a two person couch facing a large window that overlooks the street in front of the bakery. In front of the couch is a dark multi-colored wood (not painted since the wood grows all the different colors) coffee table. There is a bowl filled with the peach-shaped wattle sacks like the ones Rey drank from earlier. On opposite ends of the coffee table are matching armchairs. In the corner of the living room against the large window is a three-fourths finished painting in a Van Gough style of a twin sunset over a beach. Off on one side of the living room are two doors: One to the refresher and the other to the bedroom. Against the opposite wall of the two doors and over three feet behind one of the armchairs is a hip height wall table.
Without hesitation, Zedric removes the shoulder bag and places it carefully on the table against the wall behind the armchair before sitting in the closest armchair and grabbing one of the water sacks to drink. Finn takes the other armchair, but he doesn't grab a drink. Loreanna and Rey both watch the hooded figure. The person takes a step as if to go around the kitchen island, but Loreanna darts forward and yanks off the hood. She steps back with a gasp echoed by Finn, Rey, and BB-8 as Warden Exivy is revealed.
Loreanna looks in confusion from Rey to the stranger. Rey stiffens in surprise, but says nothing. Finn leaps to his feet to automatically salute.
Finn; "Warden Exivy"
Though he has never seen her face, Finn recognizes her because of Rey.
Warden Exivy is not wearing either her lightsabers or blaster. Her current outfit also has the symbol of the Supreme Leader printed over her heart.
On hearing the identity of the person, hidden knives suddenly appear in Loreanna's hands. Understanding that Warden Exivy's appearance isn't a surprise to either Rey or Finn dawns on her face as she takes a defensive stance. Zedric does nothing. Warden Exivy calmly studies everyone as she remove the robe and places it on a hook near then door. Then she walks into the kitchen area and grabs a platter full of bakery goods sitting on the counter and sets it on the island.
Warden Exivy: "These are a day old. The owner sells them at a discount, so help yourselves."
Imperial Hand Loreanna Solfel: "Do you think we'd"
She interrupted as what looks like a whole wheat hearty grain pretzel flies off the plate and into Zedric's hand. He takes a bite.
BB-8 squeals in shock and all save Warden Exivy stare at Zedric as if expecting him to writhe in agony and die from poison in seconds.
Instead Zedric flashes a happy smile and takes another bite.
