"So...That was...Intense." Spike said, holding a raw steak up to the lump on the side of her head. Cyber, while helping Shelley and the mini-helper bots clean up the mess her bar fight had made, just shrugged. "-I...Really don't know what came over me.-" She replied, sheepishly. "HA! It's okay, Cyber. We ALL have a wild side!" Spike exclaimed, before getting a notification on her phone. "Huh, looks like they got that last piece of glass out of Chaz's forehead."

"Man, they didn't give him that *last name for nothing." Shelly remarked with a smirk. "-What last name?-" Cyber asked, confused. "Don't worry about it." Spike answered, getting off of the barstool she was sitting on. "Important thing is that he doesn't remember you instigating anything, so we can keep going."

"-Yeah, but on what leads? All we've done so far is show up and start a bar fight.-" Cyber observed. Spike just wagged her finger. "Ah, but there's a reason I brought you HERE in the first place. Part of why I know about the disappearances is because a few of them worked here...And good ol' Garf made sure to install some security cameras."

"-So we have footage of some of them disappearing?-" Cyber asked. "Not...Quite." Spike responded, before leading Cyber into the back, and to the security systems. "You see, whoever did this has some sort of scrambler device on them. Pretty high tech. Makes the video go all static-y before we can get a good glimpse at him...But I think YOU might be able to UNscramble it." Cyber nodded, understanding what the purple hedgehog meant as she pulled a cable out from underneath her hat and interfaced with the computer.

"-Hmm...You're right...The data IS scrambled...But it's still mostly there. If I can just recompile it in the right order...-" Cyber trailed off as she concentrated. Bit by bit, the video Cyber had selected cleared up, revealing a grainy, but still distinguishable video of an ECS Unit being disabled by the scrambler and loaded into a van by some thugs. Their leader, a female in a black face mask, looked right in the direction of the camera, and Cyber had to freeze the frame. She didn't recognize the woman, but she DID recognize her clothing. It was the same uniform they ALL wore. Cyber's hands, despite their mechanical nature, began to shake. "-No...Not them...-"

"Cyber?" Spike asked, though the canary barely heard her words as she disconnected her cable and ran away from the computer in a panic. "-No no no!-"

"CYBER!" Spike yelled out as she followed Cyber to the front counter, where the canary had to stop and try to slow her rapid breathing. "Cyber, what's the matter?" Shelley asked, taking a moment to check on the cyborg herself. "Come on, I think you need to sit down." Spike said calmly, leading Cyber by the arm to a nearby easy chair. Shelly grabbed Cyber's uneaten special from earlier and helped her hook up the feeding tube as the two women made sure the canary didn't topple over from shock. "Talk to us, girl."

Cyber motioned for Spike to hand her the earpiece, and she quickly connected it to a nearby speaker so both women could understand her. "-A few months ago, myself, Jack, and Raccoon, got...Ambushed in the desert by a gang of thieves known as the Dingo Squad.-"

"The Dingo Squad? I've heard of them. They deal in all sorts of underground tech. Had to throw out a few here and there." Shelly piped in. Cyber nodded, before continuing. "-They disabled my cybernetics, hurt Jack pretty badly...Tortured Raccoon.-" She had to pause on that last thought, thinking of how she still had to comfort the bear on some nights when his memories of that time came back to haunt him. "-We just barely managed to escape with our lives, but we thought, at the very least, that we had taken them down for good.-"

"But it looks like a few stragglers managed to keep the business going." Spike continued for her. "And what better place to get everything up and going again than a city MADE of technology?"

"-A city full of PEOPLE made of technology.-" Cyber stated, clenching her fists in anger and determination. "-We need to rescue them NOW!-" Shelly nodded in understanding. "I think I know where to start looking."
