As the elevator to the underground lab opened its doors, Spike and Cyber quickly spread out and scanned the room with their Wispons for any Dingo Squad members lurking around. However, the room was dark and empty. Thick dust hung in the air and clung to nearly everything that Spike could see. She inspected a nearby table, running two fingers along its dirty surface. "Hmm. seems like nobody's been here in a minute."

But Cyber wasn't as convinced. While cloaking technology could easily fool organic senses, her mechanical eyes were detecting traces of something being in the room with them...

Her eyes widened before she instinctively leapt to get Spike out of the way of the Meteotech Stealth Sentry's path before it crashed into the purple punk-hog. "Intruders detected. Lethal force...Encouraged." It said, before deploying energy weapons against the two.

After finding cover, the women decided to take a moment to coordinate their next move. "That thing isn't going down without a fight!"

"-Maybe...Or maybe not.-" Cyber thought aloud, as she detected a local network. If she had a mouth, she would've smiled as she removed her hand and sent it crawling like a spider towards a nearby access port.

"-Give it covering fire!-" She ordered Spike, before propping her Wispon on her forearm and firing it with her other hand. Spike followed suit as the hand reached its destination and hooked into the sentry's control system. After a minute or two of bypassing security firewalls, the Sentry was taken offline, and the girls were able to rise from their hiding place, Cyber's hand soon disconnected from the access port and came running back to her like a puppy who just caught the toy their master threw.

"-Good girl, Debbie!-" Cyber called out before picking up her hand and placing it back into position. "You NAME your hands?" Spike asked with a raised eyebrow. "-Only when I have to detach them. Debbie, Sheila.-" Cyber replied, motioning with her right and left hands respectively. Spike just shook her head. "You're weird."

"-Hey, don't diss the girls just yet! Debbie found out where the ECS Units are being hidden while she was in there! Come on!-" Cyber said, before motioning excitedly, and leading Spike down a flight of stairs into a modified repair bay for MeteoTech Sentries. But now, it was a perfect prison for ECS Units that the Dingos had kidnapped. Spike quickly knocked on one of the doors for one area, recognizing one of the captives inside through the slit. "Wrecker?"

"Spike? Cyber? Is that really you?" the dark grey wolf with just a smidgin of blonde hair asked. He was clearly quite weary, but mostly okay. "How did you find us?"

"Heh, it's a long story, but the important part is that we're bustin' you out of here!" Spike replied, looking for some type of switch for opening the doors. "Spike. wait! There's something I need to tell you!" Wrecker called out.

"Can't it wait, buddy? Kinda busy saving your life!"

"OUR lives isn't in danger! We're just the bait! The real target is-" But his words were interrupted by a low humming they all heard from the ceiling above. Spike and Cyber looked around as small, metal objects from the bottom of the repair bay began to rise from the ground and get stuck to a large, round electromagnet on the ceiling. The hum from the magnet began to get stronger as it was fully powered on, Spike's Wispon starting to lift from its clip on her waist. Soon, Cyber was flung off of the ground and magnetically sealed to the ceiling, all four limbs and her head pinned. Spike just barely unclipped her Wispon before she got too high.

Observing the chaos on the ceiling above, Spike silently thanked herself for choosing NOT to get matching nose rings with Shelly yet as she landed safely on the ground...Well, safe was a relative term, as she noticed dozens of Dingo Squad members coming out of the darkness ahead of her, led by the female dingo in a black face mask.

"Well well,...Look what we have here..."
