A/N - This is a bonus scene I wrote based off of a currently popular Tumblr post/meme that is going around FB these days. The original fic was written well before this meme started going around, but once I saw it, I just knew I had to add a scene to this fic.

Harry yawned as he padded quietly out of the Slytherin common room, thankful that none of the older students were still up studying.

He hadn't exactly meant to fall asleep with Theo, but it was so comforting when his boyfriend ran his hands softly down Harry's back while in his kitten form. He had stretched his small body out to enjoy it to the fullest, and the next thing he knew, he was waking up at 2 AM.

He yawned again as he padded towards the stairs. He almost always had his invisibility cloak with him, but tonight's visit had been spur of the moment, and Theo had snuck him into the dorms in his animagus form.

Harry yowled as the staircase below him moved, sending him tumbling head over heels back to the bottom.

Shaking his head, he took stock of his limbs, making sure he hadn't broken anything. The entire time, he grumbled under his breath about the whole "cats always land on their feet" thing being a myth.

Content that nothing was broken, he stood carefully before giving himself a full body shake, keeping his eyes tightly closed while he found his balance.

But his eyes shot open when he heard an inquisitive chirrup from directly in front of him. Moving slowly, he raised his eyes to see a full grown cat, staring down at him with bluish grey eyes. If cats had eyebrows, Harry would have sworn that this cat had one raised at him.

He tried to scramble backwards, but before he could get his legs working, he found himself being lifted by the scruff of his neck and dangling from the mouth of the older cat.

Panicking, Harry considered changing out of his Animagus form and forcing the cat to drop him, but before he could decide, he heard footsteps echoing through the hallway. When he craned his neck to look up from where he hung, he had to suppress his shiver at the sight of Snape standing there.

He immediately dropped his head, not wanting the professor to notice his eyes, and made the conscious decision to take his chances with the cat who held him.

Harry mumbled under his breath about random cats choosing to mother him, but allowed his body to remain limp.

He was so busy muttering to himself that he didn't pay attention to where he was being taken.

When the cat suddenly jumped into a chair and dropped him, Harry looked around to find himself in the Gryffindor common room.

Before the cat could decide to take him somewhere else, Harry quickly changed back to his human form. With a quick pat and a whispered thanks, he went through the door to the dorms and headed for bed.

"Mr. Potter, stay a moment, please."

Harry flinched at Professor McGonagall's voice, automatically going over the day's class to see what he could be in trouble for. "Yes, Professor." He gestured for his friends to go ahead, knowing that Theo would meet him outside the classroom.

Setting his bag back down on his desk, Harry approached the desk at the front of the room. "Yes, Professor, am I in trouble?"

Professor McGonagall stood there silently, her stern gaze raking over Harry's features. Her lips twitched once before she schooled her expression once more. "Do be careful on the stairs, Mr. Potter. There's not much to sink your claws into when they move."

Minerva smirked as Harry practically flew from her classroom. Let that be a lesson to the young man. One is never truly alone at Hogwarts, and you most certainly shouldn't assume that all is as it seems.
