XIII Guardians
Chapter Five: Infernolich
The destruction of Barbed Cutter had now sent Master Havoc mad. When Zeviot, Ninjoro and Torovius returned to underground Twilight Town, he lost his temper.
"Why did Barbed Cutter get destroyed?!"
"We tried to stop Organization XIII but they succeeded." Ninjoro explained. "There's even more bad news, Reaperio is no more."
"Not good enough, this time we shall be more successful and we shall revive him at the right time."
Master Havoc showed a vision of Dark World being set ablaze by a fiery centaur like creature with a lion's head and angel wings sprouted from its upper body.
In Dark World, the creature that Master Havoc had shown was shooting fire from its mouth, hands and body. It roared and continuously struck as creatures ran in terror.
"Now, you three, go to Dark World and recruit that creature and bring him here!"
"Yes, Master Havoc!"
In a trice, Zeviot, Ninjoro and Torovius teleported to Dark World, where the monstrous fiery beast continued its havoc.
"Wait, let's talk." Said Zeviot
"Who are you?" asked the fiery creature
"We represent Master Havoc and would recruit you into his army." Zeviot explained.
"Excellent, I'd be glad to serve him."
"Then come with us."
"Right away."
In the blink of an eye, Zeviot, Ninjoro and Torovius went with Infernolich to Master Havoc.
"Now that Infernolich is here, you must now go to Dark World."
"As you command, Master Havoc."
Organization XIII had seen this from The World That Never Was and acted immediately. Following Xemnas's lead, they went to Dark World.
The sight they saw upon reaching Dark World was one of pure horror, almost everything was ablaze and creatures ran in fear.
In the distance, Organization XIII saw Infernolich, he came galloping forwards with fiery fury.
"Let's take it down!"
Organization XIII charged forwards, Infernolich roared and emitted a scorching blast of orange fire from its hands. The fire zoomed forwards and struck Organization XIII hard. All of them fell to the ground like bowling pins. However, Axel stood up, being a fire wielder he was able to take less damage. With his keyblade in hand, he rushed forwards straight towards Infernolich who was emitting a blast of scorching fireballs. There was no fear whatsoever in Axel, the fireballs exploded around him but he didn't fall. Upon reaching Infernolich, Axel raised his Keyblade, purple flames surrounded it, then he swung it and the flames flew towards Infernolich. The attack, although powerful struck Infernolich who stood unharmed.
"Hahaha, you must be mad if you think fire has an effect on me." Infernolich laughed madly. "I am made entirely of fire so why would I be destroyed by what I'm made of, eh?"
"Axel, he's just trying to psych you out." Vexen assured.
Vexed rushed over and helped Axel up, "Axel, let's combine our strength!"
"Good idea."
Axel and Vexen placed their weapons together, a powerful blast of multi-coloured fire that was surrounded by snow shot out. The blast struck Infernolich and a massive explosion rang out. However, upon the smoke's clearing Infernolich was standing, injured but standing.
"Nice one, Axel, Vexen, you've managed to damage him but what's more he's weak to cold." Xemnas interjected.
"That's it now I'm really mad!" roared Infernolich.
Infernolich charged forwards, his flaming body was a bright blaze. Demyx stepped forwards armed with his sitar, he played it and a wave of water struck Infernolich.
"It burns, it burns!" Infernolich screamed.
"You're finished, Infernolich!" roared Demyx "I call upon the spirit of the great white shark!" Demyx's hands glowed as the spirit of a magnificent great white shark appeared, the shark ferociously attacked Infernolich who struggled in vain.
"Aaagh!" moaned Infernolich.
"Great white shark spirit, full power attack!"
The great white shark spirit maintained its attack, Infernolich roared in pain as the attack drained him. Soon, the spirit disappeared and Infernolich sparked and smoked and exploded.
Zeviot, Ninjoro and Torovius looked in horror at Infernolich's remains. However, Zeviot pointed his staff at them. "Dark Spirits Of Evil Strife, Restore This Fallen Warrior's Life!"
Yellow light shot out of Zeviot's staff, it shone on the pus and seconds later Infernolich rose up from it. However, he was much, much bigger.
"It's time to get rid of this overgrown fire." Xemnas vowed. "I call upon the spirits of the lion, eagle and bison!" in a trice, Xemnas conjured his three spirits and combined them to form the Lion Pride Warrior.
Seeing Xemnas's courage, Axel, Lexaus and Vexen summoned their spirits and formed the Ice Flow Soldier, Earth Shine Gladiator and Black Fire Knight respectively.
"Black Fire Knight, Inferno Blast!" Axel yelled.
Purple fire shot from the black bear spirit's mouth straight for Infernolich. Infernolich roared and retaliated with a barrage of blue fireballs. The fireballs were aiming straight at the Black Fire Knight but the Earth Shine Gladiator and Ice Flow Soldier stepped in front and took the hit. They fell to the ground with a thud.
From the ground Demyx took action, "Animal Spirits, Arise!" he yelled. Demyx fired a blue blast from his sitar and the Spirits of the Great White Shark, Swordfish and Saltwater Crocodile appeared. The great white shark roared and with the swordfish it flew above the crocodile which roared as it stomped below. "Animal Spirits, Combine!"
The Great White Shark, Swordfish and Saltwater Crocodile combined to form the Aqua Drill Warrior. Demyx stood at a podium inside it.
"Aqua Drill Warrior, Hydro Wave attack!"
The head of the Saltwater Crocodile raised and opened its mouth, a jet of blue water shot from it. Infernolich saw and retaliated with a blast of fire. The water evaporated the fire and struck Infernolich who roared in pain and sparked and smoked. He collapsed to the ground and exploded.
The combined animal spirit forms stood at ease but Zeviot, Ninjoro and Torovius bolted back to Master Havoc with bad news.
