Dracula pulls out the stake with a grunt, and asked, "Is this your silver stake?" he tosses it to the floor. Van Helsing backs away of how Dracula greeted him, then the latter asked, "How long has it been, three, 400 years?" No response from the monster hunter, then the vampire asked as he takes of his cape, "You don't remember, do you?"

Van Helsing then asked, "Exactly what is it I should be remembering?"

Dracula replies as he approaches, but Van Hesling backs away, "You are the great Van Hesling. Trained by monks and mullahs from Tibet to Istanbul," he takes off his gloves as he continues to explain, "Protected by Rome herself. But, like me, hunted by all others."

Van Helsing then said, "The Knights of the Holy Order know all about you. It's no surprise you would know about me."

Dracula then said, "Oh, yes, but it's much more than this," he approaches again, causing Van Helsing backs away, causing him to chuckle, then said, "We have such history, you and I, Gabriel."

"What?" Taylor asked.

Dracula looks at her, then said, "Oh, yes, I nearly forgot you were here, the great Taylor Fearbrave, sister to Shadow Fearbrave. Both nightmares entering extraordinaire, but you are the defeater of the Nightmare Eight, and has so far defeated three of the Fear Clan," he paused, then said, "Aided by a turtle who is in a chair on wheels who had helped out a master thief, a fox who is a member of world law, a creature who is known to be a god where she is from, and, despite my brides haven't seen him, a superhero who did bad things but redeemed himself, despite being a coward."

Taylor thought then said, "Yeah, come to think of it, ever since we were all separated, I haven't seen Qwark, though I just hope he's okay," she pauses, then said, "But other than that, you know a lot about me from Nosfearatu, and you know about his plan, since you were at the meeting where we defeated Afton."

"Yes," Dracula replied, paused then said, "But I won't tell you, don't wish to spoil the surprise Nosfearatu is planning now, would we?"

"Figures, bad guys never tell their plans until the very last moment, which isn't this, since after I defeat you, I still have nine more members of the Fear Clan," Taylor said.

"Correct," Dracula said, looks at Van Helsing but then turns his back walks away, and said, "Back to you, Gabriel. Have you ever wondered why you have such horrible nightmares horrific scenes of ancient battles past?"

Van Helsing walks towards Dracula, then asked, "How do you know me?" Thunder then clapped as Taylor is wondering as well.

On the roof, Anna and Tess reached where Velkan was, and he was really getting shocked from all this. Until it stopped, and Anna looks at her brother. Touches his face, and said," Velkan."

"Anna?" he asked, Anna begins to unstrap him, but he was then shaking from the electricity, but sees what she's doing, and warns, "No, no, no, don't unstrap me. Don't unstrap me!" She continues to unstrap him, he continues to warn her, "No, you must not. No! No! No!"

Anna then said, "Stop. Stop it. I'm getting you out of here. Velkan, it's all right. I'm taking you home."

"No!" Velkan said, as he puts his hand to her mouth, covering it, hair grew on his hands Anna whimpers as Velkan growls.

Velkan looks at Tess and Anna, then the former said in worry, "He's transforming."

Taylor and Van Helsing turned a bit upon hearing Velkan grunting loudly. Dracula approaches Van Helsing, and asked, "So, would you like me to refresh your memory a little, hmm? A few details of your sordid past." Van Helsing took out a crucifix, showing it to Dracula, who grabs it, causing it to set on fire and scream in pain. Van Helsing lets go of the crucifix, so wit won't burn him. Both Taylor and Van Helsing watch as the crucifix melts way, but Dracula drops it, causing it to bang on the floor. The vampire regains his poseur, and said, "Perhaps that is a conversation for another time," he smirks at the two, and said, "Allow me" he pauses, then continues, "to reintroduce myself. I am Count Vladislaus Dracula," as he said that he bowed, paused, then said, "Born 1422. Murdered 1462."

Taylor was shocked that he was 40 years old when he was human.

Seems Dracula knows more about Van Helsing, and a bit of Taylor thanks to her nemesis. Finished two chapters today, maybe this was a short scene. Anyway, if you're reading this, thanks for reading.
