Life has been so strange and unusual for Alex. For a fairy boy, he has been living in a magical world of fairies, goblins, and elves, then came to a human kingdom where all the dreams can come true, and now he's been living in the world that belonged to his dear love, Madison. After being separated for so long (to him), he finally got to be with her.

For days and to weeks, Madison felt so whole again to be with him. Felt as her wish finally came true. But for a fairy boy, like him, Madison has been teaching him about the modern world. Which reminds her how she helped Ariel on certain items but it's different. She showed him some items that humans use and what they are for like cars, remotes, game systems, televisions, movies, cell phones, kitchen stoves, microwaves, toasters, and air fryers. Alex have never seen anything like this, but it may take some time to get use of these things.

But there were more things to learn which is just the one. Secrets. For Madison, it was kind of hard to think of a backstory for Alex. Like where's he from and what's he do for a living. She has helped him practice saying the words especially to her family. They do like him, and Alex felt comfortable with them as he seems to like them as well.

One day, while Madison's parents were out for work, Madison invites Alex to come over to watch some movies with her. Thanks to Madison's magic work, she created a ring for him. It was a black, metallic, and it's got a Celtic design. Although she knew that iron is fairies' weakness and would hurt them, but Madison made the ring special, so it won't hurt him or any other fairy kind. The ring is magic like her necklace, but he could also go back to his home to see his family and also on guard duty, but now he's off duty.

While the two are in her bedroom, Alex looked at the TV screen and was shocked to see what the two of them were watching. "Strange Magic." The young man couldn't believe that every scene they've watched looked exactly like what happen in Madison's adventures only to see that both he and his beloved aren't in there.

"It's so strange that seeing this right now, it's looks exactly like what really happens when we were there only... we're not in this 'movie'."

"I'm not very good of explaining things." Madison spoke as she had her head resting on Alex's shoulder. "But that's just how some things are. In the real world, my world, as everyone calls them characters, we're more as what we call additional characters. Like people imagine like if Marianne had a few friends to team up to go and rescue Dawn."

"And we're like the additional characters, right?" Alex asked and Madison nodded her head. "But... how come you didn't tell me or our friends about what happens next?"

"It's better not to." she answered. "Otherwise, the characters I met in my adventures would think that I'm weird or crazy. So, it's better to keep those to ourselves and just play along with the others."

Alex looked at her for a moment and then lifted her chin up so he could see her face.

"I don't think your weird. Or crazy. But since you said you're not good at explaining things I think I understand a little."

Madison smiled to him and gave him a kiss on the lips.

"Thanks Alex." she said to him and the two continued watching.

As the movie was finally over, the two thought of watching another movie. Alex have started to enjoy these kinds of movies especially the easy jump scare films. As Madison went to a different channel, she found one that she hasn't seen for a while. 'The Swan Princess.'

"Been a while since I've seen this movie." she spoke.

"What's that one about?" Alex questioned.

"It's about a young girl who is under a spell. Swan by day, human by night."

Alex looked at her girlfriend and looked back at the television as the movie started. Throughout the scenes, Alex and Madison sat close together as they continued watching until Alex let out a small yawn. Madison looked at her boyfriend and had a feeling that he was getting a little bored. She grabbed the remote and clicked pause as the movie stopped.

"You alright?" she asked.

"I'm fine. Just a little tired and also... feeling a little bored." he answered.

"How about we go out for a walk. Just to stretch our legs."

"Good idea." said Alex as he starts to get off the bed and stretched a little. "It's too bad we can't fly around."

"Alex, we talked about this."

"I know, I know. I was just saying."

"I know." said Madison as she kissed his cheek. "Maybe if you're off duty another night, we could try flying but only on night times."

The young man smiled to her and gave her a kiss and the two were about to leave until they heard a chirping and scratching sounds. They turned around to see Zor in his habitat as he was looking at them and scratching the glass. They both knew that he wanted to tag along as well. Madison smiled and started walking towards him.

"Hold on buddy. Can't leave without you." she spoke as she gently took the Bearded Dragon out of his habitat.

Zor was wagging his tail with excitement as he jumped to his mistress's shoulder but as Madison got closer to Alex, the Bearded Dragon leapt to his shoulder.

"Seems like Zor really likes you a lot. I'm becoming jealous." Madison smirked.

"Don't be. He likes us both." said Alex as all three left the room.

Outside the house, Madison quickly locked the door and starts walking with Alex and Zor. They were now a few feet away from her home, but they continued their walk.

"So... where would you like to go?" Madison asked as she looked at her boyfriend.

"Don't know. I thought we could just walk." he answered.

Madison smiled a little and stood close to him while Zor was holding onto Alex's shoulder but also laid his head down as he was feeling the warmth from the sun.

Not like an hour but a few minutes later, Alex and Madison were talking about things and how Madison explained about crossing streets and traffic lights, but in the middle of their walk, when there was no one around, Zor was still resting on his new master's shoulder until he heard of something. And it sounds like flapping. The Bearded Dragon perked his head up and looked around.

"Zor? What is it boy?" Madison asked as she notice that something was wrong with him.

Alex notice that too but then he heard something as well.

"Maddie, do you hear that?" he questioned.

Madison listened for a moment. There was silence at first until she heard the sounds of flapping like Zor has heard. The three at first thought it was a bird until they saw a shadow covering them that was blocking the sun. They it was a cloud but as they looked up, something really shocked them as they kept on hearing flapping sounds. It was no bird at all. It looked like a beast but with wings and a lizard tail.

"Run! Run!" Madison shouted as she and Alex started running while Zor hangs on to his master's shoulder.

They ran as fast as their legs could go but the beast was getting closer. Madison wanted to use her powers, but she couldn't, not if anyone was looking or to see a monster coming by. The creature was getting closer to them but as it was moved his talon up, he was reaching to Madison. She let out a scream as she felt the creature's talon grabbing on to her and starts lifting her up.

"Maddie!" Alex shouted and Zor growled and roared for his mistress.

The young man tries to reach for her as he was about to grab her hand, but as the creature was lifting Madison a little higher, Alex made a big leap to reach for her. But instead of grabbing her hand, he grabbed that something that was really unexpected.

Her necklace.

"Maddie!" Alex cried out for her as the beast flies up higher and higher until it vanished without a trace. "Maddie..."

Zor couldn't believe it. His mistress was now gone. Why would the beast want her? To answer that question, it was probably the necklace. The Bearded Dragon looked at the jewelry with his sad eyes at the gem until he notices a glow. He quickly chirped as he was getting his master's attention.

Alex looked at him for a moment and notice the necklace was glowing. He glanced at the gem's bright light and saw swirls coming out of it. Both Alex and Zor watched as the swirls enlarged themselves and twirled into a spot until it forms something. The two looked closer at it and saw something. It was a kingdom only it shows a castle. Alex started to realize what it was called (which Madison told him what it was) a portal. Zor looked at his master for a moment and chirped he was talking to him.

"If this... portal... will be taking us to location to where Maddie will be at, then it's our only chance to find her. You ready Zor?" he asked.

Zor nods his head in agreement and held on tight to his shoulder. Alex took a deep breath as he stared at the portal one last time until the two finally went in and everything went bright.
