Aqua Lad Pov:

"When I was growing up I didn't know that much about my father due to his violent nature and history with my former mentor Aquaman. But when I first met him, he was confused and frustrated that I had taken up the position of being the Atlantean's sidekick. He believed that I should have been by his side and plundered the seas together like he did with his grandfather. But I knew I couldn't be like him, especially hurting people to get treasure that didn't belong to him or using his weaponry to attack Atlantis whenever he had the chance. It left me to battle him numerous times to the point we almost killed one another, and now after believing he'd vanish off the face of the planet his on a different world and has become its 'champion'. Whether or not I believe this farce, I've been given instructions to invite the guests who have been asked to come. Batman had sent me a location for where Red Hood and his team would be, hopefully, they won't take offense at me taking their teammates to their original home."

Gotham City-Morning

It was peaceful when Kaldur arrived at a boardwalk where the crime-infested city that Batman and his team looked after appeared peaceful with no crime or signs of villain activity happening. Looking at his scanner to see where the group was located, he cautiously made his way to an abandoned house that didn't seem to be the place to keep several dangerous people who kept watch over Gotham's streets. Taking a moment to examine one of the houses that had a Kodachi blade sticking in the ground which caught his attention, walking over to pick it up. He heard the sound of a pistol clicking behind his head as if someone was waiting to pick up the knife.

"And here I thought Atlanteans had good hearing. Especially one that can go toe to toe with a great white shark."

A voice spoke from behind as Kaldur turned around to see Jason Todd out of costume and holding a BB gun which made the Atlantean smirked at the former sidekick's 'humor'. Putting the gun away, the two shook hands before heading inside where he saw the insides looking run down and about to collapse on themselves.

"As always. Appearances can be deceiving, especially with the money you've been taking from crime bosses and deals gone wrong."

Kaldur stated that despite the living arrangements Jason was living in, there was more to it than just appearance. Walking into the kitchen and heading over towards the fridge, Jason gripped the handle to reveal a secret set of stairs leading down to a hidden underground base. Walking down to arrive at a fully operational base to help keep taps of crimes happening either in the city or outside the perimeter of anything would be entering Gotham.

"Not exactly the bat cave but sure enough. We have a place for us to relax in, and to go out on whatever missions we want."

Jason informed Kaldur that they could monitor anything and wait for the crimes that needed to be handled since Batman along with the rest of his team handled other cases happening in the city. Leading his friend over to the couch to get a drink, the two sad down to discuss why Kaldur decided to visit him at his home.

"The mission that I've been told about is a bit difficult to explain. Presumably, it's an invite for a wedding that Earving and Carly have been invited to. Especially how the two can bring a friend to the event."

He explained as Kaldur presented the invite to Jason as the former Robin took a minute to take a look to see who was getting married. While he didn't know who Maeve was, his attention looked toward Cheetah's name since the last time he heard from her was when Wonder Woman was fighting an army of anthropomorphic predators.

"Guess that whole shit about coming from another Earth is true then. I thought it was just some form of experiment that made them think that they were from a different world. Guess I owe Arsenal money."

Responding to the story of Noir and Crimson coming from another world Jason thought the two were from a country that created them and made up a story to explain their powers. Kaldur nodded about the rumors of the two since the day when Superman brought them from out of nowhere and helped them adjust to their world. They were confused about the people with abilities and the gallery of villains that had influences around the world but also surprised at the support they were given when they met the league.

"There was much mystery around them to that of questioning if they were from another Earth that is similar to ours. However, you took them in to help out with looking over the streets. In a rather violent fashion."

Kaldur spoke out that despite the numerous teams that were curious about the Supe's and the history they've experienced back home. It was Bruce who had the idea of where they could locate since the others would question how they'd handle criminals. Except for Jason and his crew, who didn't mind their violent methods and knew about dramatic events happening in their lives.

"Enough sugar-coating Kal. Tell me the real reason why you decided to come here and bring the invite because I know others do it quickly and leave."

Jason stated that he could see through Kaldur that there was a reason why he wanted to see him since they'd teamed up in the past which required precision and skill. To that of having similar issues with people, they trusted in their lives, along with inner demons that they were still struggling with and trying to handle amongst themselves with no aid.

"Because I've been also asked to attend the wedding. Which is a way for my father to see me again."

Responding to why he wants to speak with him directly since Jason has an estranged relationship with Bruce since they worked together when the dark knight adopted him off the streets trying to carjack the Batmobile. The difference between them is that while Batman tried to help his violent personality to protect the innocent, Black Manta was focused on tormenting Aqua man and taking everything that was lost in the ocean.

"While I would tell him to fuck off since the guy is nuts and dangerous to be around since he's been at it with the fish guy for years. Maybe that other earth soften him up, who knows? He might have gotten therapy."

Making a joke about unlike this world that had much excitement, and drama as well as the occasional moments when people who had died came back either mutated or genetically altered. Manta's new home might have caused him to stop acting like his pirate self and slow down, to think about what he's done and attempt to change. There was a moment of silence between Kaldur and Jason before they let out a laugh at how it was impossible for a guy like Manta to stay in one room and talk to someone about his issues.

"If anything, I should visit him to see if he's not plundered anything. In addition, try to assist him if he's having trouble, he can't handle it by himself."

Kaldur suggested he could do it if he met with his father again when he traveled to the Supe earth. While he had good intentions to help Black Manta, Jason shook his head and continued to drink since he would want to see this for himself if there was a chance to attend the wedding. Just as the pair continued to hang out, they heard footsteps coming down the stairs where they saw the others from their jobs notice the surprise visitor.

"Atlantean. This is a fascinating visit, especially since I've repeatedly asked you for a one-on-one match. Have you come to see if an Atlantean can best an Amazon?"

Artemis of Bana-Mighdall asked since whenever she was around Aqua-man or Kaldur, she would insistently request a match due to how strong they were in a fight. Kaldur shook his head before showing the invite to Earving and Carly who took a minute to read about who was getting married and the event happening. They showed it to the others as they couldn't help but show mixed expressions about Cheetah marrying someone who would be able to withstand someone like her.

"I'm not going back."

Carly spoke out at the invite despite how this Earth was chaotic and didn't make any sense due to how many people with powers there were around her and in Gotham City. It was better than being back on Supe Earth due to the memories she had of trying to get on the Seven alongside the psychotic Supes she knew that misused their powers. Earving hand-signed to them that he would want to attend the wedding since he considered Maeve a friend and wanted to see something good happen to her.

"Really? While you did tell us that your home is a messed up grease show with weirdos and people making a quick buck out of the superhero community. I know that the villains ruined it, could be fun to see what they've done."

Arsenal suggested taking a visit to her home since the thing he knew about villains is that they ruin things that seemed decent but were corrupted. Carly didn't see it that way since she had memories of what it was like growing up with parents who put her in Supe pageants and being surrounded by hundreds of cameras. Taking a moment to calm herself, she thought about how it be nice to see Annie again along with the others since they helped bring down Vought.

"Plus you will be going as a new woman. You are now able to generate blasts twice as dangerous and before long have stories to tell the others about the adventures you had on your own."

Artemis added that when she first met the new redhead, she seemed unsure if she'd be able to work with the crew along the lines of keeping up with them. Eventually, she made her name 'Crimson Countess' put meaning whenever she handled a crime or bank robbery happening. Feeling pumped about the encouragement and having others that fit her red-style theme, Carly nodded about attending the wedding.

"Fuck it. If I'm going, I'm planning on making that scene my bitch and showing off my new style to everyone."

She responded in excitement as the three smiled at seeing Carly fired up and Jason raising his drink to his teammate's excitement about going back home to see her friends again. With that handled, he looked over at Kaldur who seemed satisfied with everything coming along but concerned about seeing his father again.

"If anything, will knock his ass out to make sure he knows that even if you're not around. He still shouldn't be doing his pirate act in another man's ocean."

Jason told Aqua Lad if Manta was up to no good, they'd set him straight despite not committing crimes on this Earth. It wouldn't fly on another earth that didn't know how to handle someone like him. While it wasn't his idea to engage in combat after so long of not seeing him, it was better to stay on guard since anything could happen if they met again. The only question that needed to be answered was getting equipment to make a way back since Supe Earth was as advanced as this one. Luckily, the best minds will be attending Cheetah and Maeve's wedding so while they help make the wedding amazing, they can build a machine to return home when everything is finished.

Supe Earth-Private Airfield

Having responded to Superman's response about getting everyone along with the guests they'd be bringing to the wedding. Grodd had given them coordinates to a location where they'd arrive without getting any attention from the public to that of the government since they would start asking questions about the unusual arrival. Right now on the runway were the core members of the Injustice League along with Annie in regular attire clothing as they were waiting patiently for the arrival of the heroes.

"So this isn't some sort of a sudden change in the team and bringing new members to look after us? Cause I don't think we have the manpower to look after another set of troublemakers."

A voice interrupted the silence as it came from the FBSA director Joe Kesseler who was responsible for setting up the airfield to be used without interruption and wanted to know about this unusual gathering.

"No worry. People coming are friends and family, also people we try to hurt in the past."

Bizarro told the director about there not being additional members joining the team but wedding guests that would be attending the event. Deciding to not question it any further due to the glares he was receiving from the others, Toy man was using a monitor to try and pinpoint where the portal would open up that would appear in front of them.

"Alright. With what John told us about the star he gave to Annie, it'll help Flash's cosmic treadmill track this world for the portal to open. Just have to move in the exact for them to notice you."

He explained to Annie as he asked her to come over to a spot where the portal would open up as the inventor continued to look around the area to make sure she was on the exact spot. Smiling at Annie standing who was where she was supposed to be, he tells everyone to move back since the portal could either let tons of people through or it could suck them within and send them to another earth. Meanwhile, the Supe girl was still trying to figure out what she had to do since Annie had the star from her costume that John gave her when she last saw him.

"Alright. So what else do I do now?"

She asked as the star in her hand began to glow which dictated that they had found them. Placing it on her chest and trying to figure out what to do next, Annie's eyes started to glow as she looked forward and started to absorb the electricity around the airfield which made the others watch in curiosity about what she was attempting to do.

"Hope this is worth it B. Because I don't want to go down as the girl who destroyed this planet because I wanted to see old friends again."

Banshee spoke to Bizarro as the energy that Annie had taken around her, she fired a stream of light that turned into a circular doorway which made everyone cover their eyes at how bright it was. Keeping a distance and waiting to see who would step out to greet the Injustice League and Kessler, they saw coming forward was Harley Quinn holding several luggage bags with her that had her stuff along with her crew's things for the wedding.

"Alright. Who the hell invited the clown? Because I thought this was a wedding, not a fucking beer fest."

Manta spoke out since the last he heard from her was that she was responsible for bringing down the Legion of Doom back in Gotham. Hearing a whistle from Banshee on not trying to be the one responsible for inviting her, they see coming through that of Poison Ivy and the mutants with the dates that they'd be bringing to the wedding.

"I knew I should have gotten a drink before letting this happen. Because this feels like I'm in some sci-fi movie."

Kessler stated since he was staring at Bebop and Rocksteady he didn't think he'd be chaperoning a rhino and warthog into the city. They moved away from the portal as they saw several familiar faces coming out of the power such as Black Adam, John Constantine, Wonder Woman, and June Moone who saw the former villains staring at them along with Diana seeing Barbara again since they had last met each other.

"Supe Earth. What a dump, as well as a good place to get drunk on."

Constantine exclaimed as he pulled out a flask for the occasion of seeing the team again as they moved away from the portal where another set of guests would be making their way through. Coming out was Jason Todd along with his crew along with Carly and Earving who was in his Black Noir outfit since he didn't want to stay professional and didn't want his face seen by everyone he'd be socializing at the wedding.

"Nice to see you two again. It's been a while."

Annie greeted the two before walking over to hug them since she was excited to hear what they'd been up to on the other earth. With that being said moving over to greet the last group that would be attending the wedding, they saw Clark Kent walking out along with his cousin Kara, his wife Lois Lane, and their son Johnathan Kent as well as Kaldur who saw the collection of people gathered around greeting one another.

"Brother!"

Bizarro shouted in excitement before flying over to give him a hug the blue-eyed Kryptonian smiled at seeing him again he tried to not look embarrassed at half of the group starting at him and his clone showing brotherly love. Noticing a sound coming from the back of the portal and moving away, the last ones to make it out were Barry Allen and his wife Iris West as the portal finally closed behind them which meant everyone was accounted for. Taking a moment to shake off the feeling from stepping out of the portal that she went through; Iris took a moment to look at everyone as it was an unbelievable sight of men and women as well as creatures to be gathered for this occasion.

"This would make an incredible story to cover if I was on the job. Though I guess it'll be on the down low because of that agent-looking man there."

Iris spoke to her husband that it be a once in a lifetime moment to cover the wedding of two women from separate worlds who came together and decided to become a married couple. Meanwhile, Joe Kessler didn't know how to handle this issue due to how it looked like a comic book convention happening in front of him. Taking some time to adjust to the sudden gathering of powerful people in front of him, he made sure that everyone noticed him as he was about to make an announcement to the arrivals.

"Hello. I'd like to say welcome to New York City, but I can tell that everyone has come from a city that's just as unusual as this one. Either way, glad to meet you all. I already got a set of limos lined up to take you to the Flatiron Building where rooms have been set up."

Informing them about the transportation they'd be taking to adding a joke to help ease their arrival since he was doing his best not to question the two clothed animals along several of them that were in capes. Just as the crowd were walking over to see where the limos were at, the only two who didn't move was Diana and Cheetah since their encounters would result in a fist fight with one of them covered in bruises.

"You look well, Barbara."

Diana complemented her as Cheetah rolled her eyes toward the Amazonian since she wanted to try and be friendly toward her. The pair made their way over to the limos as they saw the others getting into the limos and driving off to the road.

"Despite how you see it. I'm doing this to show this is my new life, and that what this is saying goodbye to my old life. Also, there's booze in the back if need a drink. It's going be a long trip into the city."

Barbara informed her how that every inch of her predator side was telling herself to claw Wonder Woman in front of her for their past encounters. She ignored it in an attempt to make a new life, which was cutting ties from her past to focus on her life with Maeve. Heading over to the limbos with their respective groups, the vehicles left the airfield and drove toward the center of the city. Just as everyone left, there was a figure watching from one of the buildings as it was Death of the Endless who was holding her umbrella, so the sun didn't hit her skin.

"Despite joy that's coming to the wedding. They'll have to be ready for much discomfort that'll come their way."

She spoke sadly that despite it was a sight to watch individuals come together in matrimony. She knew that every wedding will have drama, trouble and importantly individuals who would want to ruin the moment. Yet despite nobody having any issues with the union between Cheetah and Maeve, that didn't mean it could be brought from another world that would be fascinated how life had turned out on this Earth.
