The Loud Ark: Chapter 8 - Building the Ark
After the Louds left the city with the supplies that they purchased and walked for hours to a grassy plain several miles from their house where they started to begin construction.
"This must be the perfect spot," said Lincoln.
"Well, Let's get to work." Exclaimed Iridessa.
"Just tell us what to do," Fawn replied.
"Good then, let's get to work." Said Lynn Sr. "Remember kids, "Louds never quit!"
"Yeah!" The Loud Kids exclaimed
"Let's do it!" shouted Lincoln.
Lincoln: (Chanting) We are the Louds, Loud and Proud!
Then his sisters joined in the chanting.
Loud Siblings: (Chanting) We are the Louds, Loud and Proud!
The Louds and the fairies started by laying out stones for the width and length of the ark although it was difficult to measure by cubit, Lucky with the help of Lisa they managed.
Then Lincoln approached the first cypress tree with an ax. He did have a hard time cutting it, But he wouldn't give up until "Timber!"
The first tree fell and fell smack on some bullies, Luckily they didn't get hurt or killed. Lincoln sheepishly slowly backed away and ran away.
Soon the family joined in as Trees from the forest had been cut down and carved into planks. The pitch was mixed from plant resin and used to caulk the seam of the planks. The skeleton of the ark was slowly but surely taking shape.
Luna holding some planks approached Lori and said "Say Lori look over there?!"
"What is it Luna?!" asked Lori
"Those people down there, yesterday I saw another," Luna replied.
The bullies were hiding behind some trees after recovering and watching the construction. What is that boy up to?
"Yeah I noticed," said Lori. "And I literally know why they came here."
Around the afternoon the family built the ark. Passing Caravans stopped to watch the construction and there was a crowd of people, mostly those Lincoln preached to, laughing at them.
"What's more stupid than this? A Boy Building a Boat on Dry Land!" Taunted a Bully.
The people laughed and mocked while pointing their fingers at the Loud Family.
"This Kid is crazy! Thinking of such an idea!" Exclaimed a Woman
"Yeah, And the same goes for his sisters and his whole family! Who are nuts as he is!" the man taunted.
This led to another uproar of laughing from the crowd. The Loud family was annoyed and angry with them laughing and mocking them for building an Ark on Dry land.
" Just ignore them Louds," Lincoln reassured. "They're not worth it!"
"Lincoln, are you sure, You know what you are doing?" asked Lola.
"Yes, I am Lola, Aslan did tell me everything the flood will come," said Lincoln.
"But when will it come?" asked Lucy.
"Not until the Ark is Finished," replied Lincoln. "And the birds and beasts are brought aboard, But we're off to a good start."
As a week passed, Lincoln's friends, Clyde, Stella, Zach, Rusty, and Liam saw the frames of the hull of the ark being laid out. As they approached the site, the family wrote construction hard hat helmets for protection as Lincoln saw his friends.
"Oh, Clyde? You guys, how's it going?" said Lincoln.
"Hey Link, what are you doing?" Said Clyde.
"A little project I'm working on, A giant boat called an Ark," Lincoln replied.
"An Ark?" Questioned Clyde. "But why for?"
"Well, Clyde Your Dreampuffs worked and I finally figured out the vision." Said Lincoln as he came down to his friends. "It was a Message for Aslan that the world is going to end, I even met him in a forest clearing."
"Wait? Has Aslan spoken to you?" Said Clyde.
"Golly, that would have been something" added Liam.
"So a Lion told you the World is going to end?" said Rusty.
"It seems I was right all along! The world is going to end!" Exclaimed Zach. "But did the lion say how we're going to survive?"
"Well, Aslan warned me that he was going to end the world with a great flood." Said Lincoln. "The Water I have seen in my vision is that he's going to destroy the world because man's heart has turned against him because of humanity's sin."
"Lincoln, there is no water around here," Said Stella. "Do you think the flood is coming? What would we do?"
"Don't worry, Aslan figured it out." Replied Lincoln. "He told me to build this ark with my family which will be our salvation so we can be saved along with pairs of animals from the flood. So would you please help me?"
His friends thought and agreed.
"Sure Thing Lincoln what are friends," said Clyde.
"And Stella Tink and her friends would like to thank you for building those fairy houses with Lana!" said Lincoln.
"They noticed them? Well, you're welcome!" Stella replied.
With Lincoln's friends joining in they were chopping and sawing the cypress trees, Cutting off branches from the trunks, Liam got some horses and cattle to pull the wagons full of the fallen logs to be sawed, Stella and Zach were gathering supplies, Clyde and Rusty were sawing a long plank. There was sawing and hammering and pitch being made to seal the cracks. Lincoln was hammering the peg, "Can somebody pass those pegs, please?" Said Lincoln.
Then Tink comes in a small cart with pegs pulled by a mouse.
"Here you go," said Tinkerbell
"Thanks," Lincoln answered as he got some pegs to hammer in.
Leni and Lynn lifted a long thick wooden pole as they grunted.
"I got it!" strained Leni as the pole was heavy as they carried it.
"Come on, Leni. We can do this." Said Lynn.
But then Lynn tripped causing her to drop her end and it landed on her foot.
"Yeow!" She shouted as she jumped up and down while holding her left foot in pain.
"Did I do something wrong?" Leni asked.
Instead, they went rolling the poles with Lincoln, Luna, and Lana.
"Keep it Straight." Lincoln only tripped and rolled over the pole onto the ground.
. . . . .
As construction of the ark continued it showed the kneel and the hull part built. Soon more people showed up, Ronnie Anne, Sid, and their families, the Casagrandes, Bobby, Maria, Rosa, Hector, Carlos, Frida, Carlota, CJ, Carl, and Carlitos, and the Changs, Becca, Stanley, and Adelaide, came to the sight of the ark being built.
Hey Lame-O!" shouted Ronnie Anne. "What are you doing?"
'Hi Ronnie Anne, I'm building a boat," Lincoln replied.
"Oh, A boat what for?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"It's called an Ark!" replied Tinkerbell.
"Yeah, the Ark!" added Lincoln.
"We can't just call it the Ark, we gotta need a good name for it" inquired Lynn Jr.
"Like what?" asked Lola.
"How about S.S. Loud?" suggested Lana.
"No how about the Boat of Salvation?" added Luna.
"The Woud Ark!" exclaimed Lily.
"The Loud Ark?" asked Lincoln. "What do you guys think?"
The family and crew looked at each other, nodded, and exclaimed, "We Love it!"
"Oh right, So about this ark?" Said Ronnie Anne. "I heard from my brother Bobby, that some Lion told you to do it because of the end of the world?"
"That Lion was Aslan," Sid replied. "And the world is going to end due to a flood?"
"Yes, it will and who told Bobby that?" Lincoln asked.
They turned to see Bobby with Lori being romantic with one another, they realized on Lori's Phone, that she texted him about it and perhaps wanted to help with the project as Lori nervously laughed and said sheepishly. "I might've… blurted it out while we were talking."
"And I might have passed it on to the others," Bobby added.
Then Lincoln sighed and said, "Ok, I feel like I've explained this many times already, but…Okay, listen closely."
Then Lincoln told everyone what happened and how Aslan told him through a vision. That the world had become wicked and sinful and that he was going to destroy the earth with a flood. Aslan told him that he would be spared and was told to build the ark to save himself and Everyone from humans and beasts.
"So do you believe me? And will you help us?" asked Lincoln.
"Please?" pleaded Lori.
The Casagrandes and Changs looked at each other and agreed. "Yes!"
"Since you all want to help grab a tool and start building, the more the merrier," said Lincoln.
"Gracias, Lincoln." Said Ronnie Anne.
Soon they got more workers to build the ark. Lincoln and Luan were sawing the plank on both sides with a two-man saw.
"Hey! Dad, we got more help!" Shouted Lincoln.
"What? Lincoln?!" Lynn Sr. turned around only to be hit by the end of the saw on his end and fall. "Ow!"
"Sorry Dad" Luan apologized.
Then shows Bobby and Lincoln going to leverage the wooden beams onto the poles to roll on with two planks.
"Leverage it up! Put some weight on it! Okay!" Said Lincoln.
"We need some Body Weight, Just put on some Leverage, little buddy. On three ready?" Said, Bobby.
"One, Two, Three." They both said in unison. Lincoln's plank breaks and he falls onto the ground.
"Oh, I'm an Idiot," Lincoln commented.
Lincoln was now twisting the handle of a hand drill on the beam while speaking to himself, "Nice to meet you, Lincoln Loud, I notice you have beefy hands. Well, I'm building an ark."
Carl was hammering the peg with his hammer, he accidentally hit his thumb. "OW! I got a boo-boo!"
Then it was Lincoln who accidentally hammered her thumb, Lynn Sr., Bobby, Leni, and Tinkerbell as they groaned and yelled in pain.
Bobby and Lincoln were back leveraging the wooden beams onto the poles to roll on.
"Here we go!" Said Lincoln.
They managed to leverage the wooden beam onto the rolling poles. "Yeah! Alright! Whoo!" They shouted, but Lincoln fell off the wooden beam to the ground.
There were a series of mishaps like Lola falling off a plank she was sitting on, Lana and Luna accidentally hammering her thumb, and Lincoln accidentally pulling off the hand drill hitting his groin and hurting him.
Hector having lunch, only for a pile of debris to land on the other end of the bench, sending him flying "AIEEEE!"
Carllota, Leni, and Sid were hammering and laying out the planks. Then Carlotta screamed with her hands covered in splinters. "I'm getting splinters!"
"That is nothing! I got splinters on my Splinters!" exclaimed Sid showing her splinters.
"Speak for yourself," added Leni showing her splinters.
"Hey, I need more Pegs up here!" yelled Lynn Jr. who was on the top floor of the ark. Meanwhile, on the second floor, the Loud parents were testing the floorboards.
"Well this looks sturdy,' Said Lynn Sr., but the floor broke under his own weight and feed and yelped as he fell down. Rita gasped and hurried to the hole to see if her husband was okay. Then she heard his voice shouting, "I'm Okay!"
"Where are the pegs?!" Lynn Jr. complained while on the top floor.
"Okay lift that to the left," said Rosetta. The fairies were placing the plank in "It's per- Wait a little more to the left."
The fairies moved the plank a bit more to the left and placed it in the wall of the ark.
"Perfect!" exclaimed Rosetta.
The fairies begin hammering in the plank with the crowd outside laughing at them.
"Forget it! Those people are wasting our time!" said Tinkerbell.
The crowd soon started tossing rocks, sticks, tomatoes, and fruits at them. One rock was tossed and bounced across the construction site, and it landed on a mud puddle splashing Rosetta and causing her to gasp and scream. "DIRT!"
"Get it Off! Get it Off! Get it Off! Get it Off! Get it Off! Get it Off!" Rosetta shrieked hopping up and down as the fairies flew down to comfort their friend while Silvermist splashed water on her to wash the mud off her.
"Thank you," Rosetta said.
"Wait? She's supposed to be a garden fairy, But she hates dirt and mud?" asked Sid.
"Ironic isn't it" Fawn replied.
Lincoln and Ronnie Anne were sawing on both sides. Carlitos and Lily were hammering. "
"Come on please where are the pegs?!" shouted Lynn Jr. still waiting for her pegs.
"Push!" shouted Zach
The boys were lifting up a beam with ropes with one group pushing from the base as they grunted.
"Pull!" shouted Carl.
"Push!" shouted Zach
"Pull!" shouted Carl.
They managed to get the beam to stand up straight. Then, Maria, Rita, Rosa, Becca, and Frida placed a support beam to hold the Sides
"Hey!" Lynn Jr. Yelled.
"We Know You Need Pegs!" Groaned Everyone.
Then Luan arrived at the top and dumped a bucket on them on Lynn Jr. causing her to yelp and fall down.
But despite such mishaps and minor delays, they continued to build the ark little did they know a spy watching.
. . . . .
Iago was sent by Jafar to spy on them as he flew onto the construction site of the ark. The parrot watches the boy and his friends and family working on the boat Perching on the beams and says to himself. "What is this boy and his family up to?"
Then upon his observation, he saw the construction of Lincoln, his family, and friends now helping build the ark. "I knew I was right and now, more people have joined up!"
Then Fawn noticed him and shouted, "Hey! What are you doing up there?!"
Iago yelped as he fell to the floor and the six fairies flew down.
"Are you here to sabotage and laugh at us?!" asked Silvermist
"What No! I'm your friend!" Iago tried to explain by lying to them. "I think it's wonderful what you are doing with your human friend. Here let me help!" As he places some pegs next to them.
"What do you think you are up to parrot?" asked Rosetta. "There's something suspicious about you?"
"Me Nothing, Iago's the name, I was just coming to see what's going on here. Why is everyone talking about this thing being built on dry land?" asked Iago.
"It is called an Ark!" Replied Tinkerbell in a harsh tone. 'And our friend Lincoln is building it to save us from a flood."
"A Flood?!" Laughed Iago. "That crazy little pipsqueak needs more help than we thought."
"Hey! Don't talk about our friend that way!" shouted Tinkerbell as her face turned red with anger.
"My dear, there is not a drop of water around here for miles," Iago laughed even more. "And you mean to tell me your crazy friend is building a wooden boat on his farm?"
Fawn and Tinkerbell held back the urge to jab Iago in the behind as the man laughed even more. Vidia fought back ever harder to resist punching him in the face.
"My friend is not crazy!" Tinkerbell shouted. "He's a very kind and gentle person. God even said so when Lincoln spoke to him."
"She's right, we were there with him when we saw the Lion God Aslan speak to us with our own eyes and heard his powerful voice," Iridessa replied.
"They speak the truth." Said Silvermist. "If you listened to them and Lincoln you will know you will face judgment from Aslan."
"That is right," said Vidia. "God has told him and he has told us that a great flood will wash away the wickedness that has plagued you and most everyone else in this world."
The parrot was now practically rolling in the streets and laughing even harder.
"There has never been a drop of rain around here ever," laughed Iago. "That foolish friend of yours just hearing things in his empty head."
Then he stopped laughing. "Just think about it! You have been so busy helping these humans, you have nothing for yourselves, you haven't been working on your chores tending the earth, it doesn't seem fair to you young people."
"But the Ark is important!" Shouted Fawn.
"If it's really that important, then what are you gonna do with it, IF it doesn't even rain?" inquired Iago.
"No, it will rain besides I can sense it coming," said Silvermist.
"Yes, Yes, just suppose, just suppose." Questioned Iago. "The Rains and the Flood don't come, all this for nothing, by then you'll have nothing!"
"We will not! We obey Lincoln!" Shouted Tinkerbell.
"I have an idea," Exclaimed Iago. "This is good lumber, I could trade this with you for land, jewels, everything your heart desires."
"What? Trade the lumber?!" Exclaimed Silvermist.
"Think about it?" Replied Iago. "You'll be entitled to something?"
"The Answer is No!" Yelled Tinkerbell as her face turned bright red in anger. "Now Get Out of Here!"
"Okay Fine!" Yelled Iago. "But you're all making a Big Mistake! You're all being PigHeaded!"
The Parrot gets up and begins to fly away. "You Fairies are just as crazy as that Lincoln Kid! I Hope you and your human friend Break your Necks working on that Stupid Boat! I will tell Governor Jafar about this! You Fools! All of You!"
"There will be a flood, Iago! Just you wait and see!" Yelled Tinkerbell after Iago left. Vidia came to her side to calm her down.
"Relax, Tink, he's leaving." Said Vidia as Tinkerbell started to calm down.
"Thanks, Vidia." Said Tinkerbell. "But I get the feeling things are about to take a turn for the worse for us. Also, I'm glad you didn't hit him."
"Thanks, you too," replied Vidia.
The Six fairies watched as the parrot flew back to the city. Once he tells his master and Lord, Jafar of this outlandish project. He would investigate it and perhaps send an army to destroy it; they hoped that Lincoln would prepare for what was to come.
. . . . .
At the City palace, Iago told Jafar everything that he had seen. The Ark, the Loud family and his friends building it, and the fairies telling him that the flood will come.
"So it seems the rumors are true," said Jafar. "This young lad Lincoln is building an ark in the middle of a field."
"Yes, Jafar I saw it!" replied Iago. "And he's got his whole family, Friends, Neighbors, and those fairies involved, They are all foolish and crazy!"
"This is even more foolish, and bad than I thought it was," added Jafar.
"And those fairies told me that it's going to rain and everyone on the earth will drown," said Iago.
"Rain? That's impossible? He could be a danger to me." said Jafar before turning to Iago and said. "Iago take some men with you and sabotage their construction."
"It will be done, Lord Governor Jafar!" said Iago.
"Excellent!" exclaimed Jafar.
. . . . .
After a few days, the crew was on lunch break when Ronnie Anne noticed something off hiding in the trees.
"Say Lame-o, some people are hiding over there?!" Ronnie Anne said pointing in their direction.
"Really?" Lincoln replied.
Hiding in the trees in bushes, were some men and women, Three hyenas, a short man, a fox, a cat, and Iago who had returned with a group were spying on them.
"I don't know, they must be village or city folks from the city." Ronnie Anne replied. "I don't know why they come here."
"I think it's obvious." Lincoln in a low tone. Those same people who like to mock Lincoln during his preachings and from the city have heard of them and they came to mock and laugh at him and his family for building an ark on dry land.
Soon after a lunch break, The Louds continue building the ark. Then Clyde's Dad arrived to his son with his friends building this large wooden vessel, Harold spoke to Howard "Why is our son, Clyde helping his friend build this ship?"
"I believe so, I don't know, but it's a pretty big project," said Howard.
"Hi Dads!" shouted Clyde from the second floor.
"Hello son!" replied Harold.
"Are you doing okay up here?" asked Howard.
"I'm doing great, helping Lincoln build the ark, if you like you can help?" replied Clyde.
"Maybe they could use some more helping hands?" asked Harold.
"Yeah, sure thing!" exclaimed Howard.
"Up, up. Push it up. Push it." Exclaimed Carlos as he, Maria, Lynn Sr., Frida, Rita, Lincoln, Ronnie Anee, Lori, Bobby, Luna, and Carlotta pushed up the beam to connect the stern.
"We got it. We got it." Lynn Sr. Shouted.
Tinkerbell, Rosetta, and Fawn were pulling the top of the beam by the ropes. Then they stopped halfway,
"Stop! Just let it go, just let it go." Said Lincoln. "We're making great progress."
"Littleman, we can do this," Sighed Bobby. "But we're gonna need some help."
"I know," Lincoln replied. "We just need something to lift those beams."
"Well, we can't waste our pixie dust on this," added Tinkerbell.
"You mean something like that?" Said Ronnie Anne pointing to something in the distance as the crew turned around to see a human hamster wheel-powered wooden crane that appeared out of nowhere.
"Holy moly!" Exclaimed Lana. "This is so totally awesome!"
"This is perfect." Exclaimed Tinkerbell.
"But how did it come out of nowhere?" Asked Carl.
"Lame-o, there's a note." Ronnie Anne told Lincoln pointing to the note on the crane. "Let me see that." Lincoln read the note which read "Ask and you shall Receive. -A." Lincoln knew it was Aslan and began to understand by having faith in him miracles would appear. Vidia, Silvermist, Iridessa, and Rosetta gave him the Dummies Book.
"How does it work?" Said Lana. Lincoln reads a page that two people must be in the wheel for the crane to power the crane. Soon the twins were in the wheel along with Geo, their pet hamster.
"My dress better not get caught!" Exclaimed Lola to which Lana replied, "Link, this is really weird."
Lincoln and the others were placing the beams in place faster with the crane. "Repeat after me, "We are hamsters!"
"We are hamsters!" Shouted the Loud twins.
"Leg power!"
"Leg power!"
"And it's in!" Exclaimed Lincoln as they placed the beam in place as the construction crew cheered.
Soon the construction was getting much better as they raised the skeleton ribs of the ark "Make sure it's straight." Said, Hector.
Soon it was Luna and Luan's turn on the wheel. "This is so cool," said Luna. "Yes, We wheel it!"
"Okay, guys. A little bit more." Said Lincoln. "Here we go. I got it. Keep it…" Soon more beams were raised in place. "That's it! Beautiful!"
Carlota, Becca, Rita, Silvermist, Lana, and Luna were stirring the pitch in the pot. Lynn Sr. and Stanley were sawing on both sides on a wooden plank. Rosa, Carlos, Tinkerbell, Iridessa, Carl, CJ, Adelaide, and Sid were hammering. Vidia, Fawn, Rosetta, Lori, Leni, Luan, Lucy, Lisa, Ronnie Anne, and Bobby were sealing the cracks in the planks so no water could get in. Lynn Jr., Clyde, Stella, Zach, Rusty, Liam, and Lincoln were having a good time chopping the trees, Lincoln had gotten better. Luan lifted a plank for Lori who was on the second floor. Rita, Maria, Carlitos, and Lily were gathering the wood.
As everyone continued work on the ark, no one noticed that Iago, Mr. John Worthington Foulfellow, his partner Gideon the Cat, Pain, and Panic had followed them from the city. They were sent by Hades and Jafar to deal with Lincoln's Folly.
"Iago, look!" Pain shouted as he pointed to the Ark.
"Shh!" Iago said as he covered his mouth. "That crazy kid and his family don't know we're here."
"Wait till Lord Jafar and even Hades hear about this." Said Panic.
"I say we sabotage this vessel before we show him anything." Exclaimed Iago. "But Sir, Lord Jafar said…" Panic tries to explain, but Iago cuts him off.
"Forget what he said," yelled Iago. "First, I want to mess up with that crazy young white-haired boy. Add a little injury before the big insult."
John Foulfellow smirked slyly and said."Ah, I see where you are going with this sir."
"I know. Exactly what we're doing." Said Iago
As the five were talking, Clyde was chopping down another tree for planks. "Timber!" Clyde called out.
Iago and his cronies looked up and saw the shadow of a tall tree forming over them. The two demons, Fox, and Cat casually stepped to the side as the tree came crashing down on Iago. Lynn JrClyde, Stella, Zach, Rusty, Liam, and Lincoln grabbed the tree loaded it into the Wagon, and began hauling it away, exposing an Iago-shaped hole in the ground.
"Sir!" Panic said as he walked up to the hole. Iago poked his head out of the hole as little tiny birds chirped and flapped in a circle around his head. Pain held up his hand with two fingers exposed in front of Iago's face. "How many fingers am I holding up?"
"2023?" Iago asked with a dazed expression.
After a quick recovery, Iago and the cronies quietly followed the adults and two teen girls closer to the site of the Ark.
"We got more wood for the ark, Dad," Lincoln called out to his dad.
"Very good, son," Lynn Sr. replied. "You and the others Just set it aside for now."
Lincoln didn't see Iago and Foulfellow sneaking up right behind him when he and his friends tossed the tree backward out of the wagon, which once again landed on top of an elegant egotist parrot and sly Fox. His arms and legs were sticking out from underneath the trunk. As the group went back into the woods, Pain, Panic, and Gideon grabbed Iago and Foulfellow by their arms and yanked them out from underneath the tree. Iago and John Foulfellow were now more two-dimensional than before.
"Talk about being turned down 'flat.;" Panic chuckled.
The following day, after Iago was uncompressed, he and his bodyguards returned to the site where construction of the Ark had progressed even more. They moved in closer to where they were inside the almost finished skeleton of the ark. Vidia, Fawn, Rosetta, Lori, Leni, Luan, Lucy, Lisa, Ronnie Anne, and Bobby were on the second deck and were carrying some buckets of pitch to wield the planks in place. Leni almost lost her footing and accidentally spilled some drops of pitch.
"Second eldest Sibling, please be more careful up there," said Lisa as she was overseeing the construction
"Don't worry, Lisa," Leni replied. "I will be very careful."
One of the buckets accidentally slipped from Lisa's grip and a big blob of pitch splattered all over Iago and his cronies. The five idiots were now stuck together. They tried to pull each other in opposite directions to get the pitch off. They pulled harder and harder till they heard a ripping sound. They managed to get unstuck, but now they were exposed showing their bare rares and Foulfellow and Gideon have their underwear exposed.
"Um…Could you pass my clothes back please?" John Foulfellow said, cracking an embarrassed smile.
The next day, Iago and his cronies returned once again with fresh new clothes covering the duke. They see that even more progress on the Ark has been made. The hull is starting to form around the skeleton.
"We're running out of time," said Iago to his cronies. "Let's just grab a couple of hammers and smash it down."
"You got it, sir," the cronies replied.
While Lincoln and his family were having a lunch break, Iago and his cronies ran to the Ark and grabbed a couple of large hammers lying around. While the demons, Foufellow, and Gideon manage to lift their hammers with ease, Iago is struggling to hold him up since it is much bigger than him. Iago spits in his wings and grabs a tight hold of the handle of his large hammer.
"One…two…THREE!" Iago succeeds in lifting his hammer, but the weight of it causes it to lean the other way. The cronies wind up and are about to bash their hammers into the wooden hull of the Ark when Iago bumps into them and knocks them over and Iago's hammer falls hard right on his head.
"YEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!" Iago shouted at the top of his lungs.
From a short distance away, Lincoln and his family are enjoying their lunch when they hear Weselton's loud, painful cry.
"A little early for the coyotes to be out, isn't it?" asked Fawn.
"Perhaps they should come on the ark too." Said Sid as she wrote them down on the list.
Back at the Ark, Iago is now sporting a nasty plaster on his head as he tries a second time to lift the heavy hammer. The cronies were at a safer distance as Iago lifted up his hammer and swung it around to get a motion going. He swings it a little too hard on the last round, causing the head of the hammer to go flying off of its handle, and knocks his minions right out of their boots.
At the same time, Iago brings his now headless hammer handle around for a fast, hard swing right into the wooden hull. The impact makes Weselton shake and levitate backward until he trips over some plywood and lands in a puddle of mud.
The day that followed after that incident, Lincoln's family was nearing completion of the ark. The left side of the hull was all put into place, and the rooms inside the ark were also finished being built. All that remained was the rest of the right side of the hull and roof. As before, Iago and his cronies are back again to make another attempt to ruin the Ark. They see Lynn Sr., Stanley, Rosa, Carlos, Tinkerbell, Iridessa, Carl, CJ, Adelaide, and Sid cutting a tree into more wooden planks.
"I'll go after the adults," said Iago, "and Panic and Pain get the fairies and the rest of you get the kids."
"Okay, Sir." Panic replied.
The five goons snuck up behind Lynn Sr., Stanley, Rosa, Carlos, Tinkerbell, Iridessa, Carl, CJ, Adelaide, and Sid, ready to grab them. Tinkerbell hears the sound of Lincoln's voice calling for them, and suddenly Lynn Sr. and Stanely turn to respond. The cronies were smacked in the head with the wooden plank and fell down. The two men turn around, accidentally hitting Iago as well.
"Hey, did you hear something, Dad?" asked Sid.
"I don't think so, Sid," Stanley replied.
"For a moment, I felt we were being followed," Sid replied.
Iago and his cronies stood back up, looking dazed and dizzy. The two men turned back around, accidentally hitting Iagos and his minions a second time as the five idiots bonked their heads into each other and passed out.
A short while later, Iago and his men woke up. They see Carlota, Becca, Rita, Silvermist, Lana, Luna, Rita, Maria, Carlitos, and Lily mixing up more pitch. Iago then looks off to the side and sees a long strand of rope. He gets a devilish idea as he grabs the rope and makes a lasso out of it. He spins the lasso and tosses it, but Rita moves at the last minute and the rope ends up getting tied around Carol Anne, Liam's Nanny Goat.
Furious at being roped, Carol Anne runs around as Iago is being dragged by his sorry butt all over the place. His head bangs against every rock and tree stump that the goat passes. After a minute of dragging Iago around, Carol Anne finally stops running as she comes to a sliding halt. Iago is launched high into the air and comes down fast, landing in Carol Anne's water trough. His cronies run up as Iago is getting himself out.
"Sir, are you alright?" John Foufellow asked with worry. Iago, annoyed with his deputy's question, sprayed him in the face with water.
