Chapter 66 The protector of the Earth

Yuto and Yugo were together as they walked down a path. They managed to meat each other after the training with the girls.
"Well at least we managed to get a break." Yuto said.
"Yeah." Yugo was reading a book.
"Still it's best to keep an eye out in case that dragon comes out."
They had to make sure that dragon doesn't come out soon or that will be very troublesome for all of them.
"Well I wonder what will happen now." Yuto said.
Yugo shrugs as he reads his book.
"We're supposed to check for a dragon and your still reading your damn book!" Yuto said.
"It's a good book." Yugo said.
"We are in the middle of life and death, put that away." He said.
"Fine." Yugo said with a sigh as he does so.
They kept going and they saw Gaia sitting on a rock.
"Gaia." They said.
"Yuto and Yugo I have something for you." Gaia said warmly.
"Which is?" Yugo got curious.
She then takes out a box and opens it revealing five rings.
"These rings each have a power that will greatly aid you." Gaia said.
"Theres five of them." Yuto said.
"Yes but you can share the Heart Ring." Gaia said as the Fire and Earth rings went to Yuto and the Wind and Water Rings went to Yugo.
"Well looks like we'll have to share it." Yuto mutters.
"You both will have to learn the secrets they have." She said.
The brothers place their two rings they had gotten on to their left and right hand respectively.
"At least with them we will have more of an advantage in a battle." Yugo said.
Gaia looks to the side. "Also dangers coming so be careful." She goes off.
"Dangers? Guess there is going to be one soon." Yugo said.
They saw a sludge monster come out as it roars.
Both of the brothers look at this monster in surprise.
They saw it shoot sludge at them and they dodged it.
"Okay gross." Yuto said.
Yugo then looks at his rings.
"I wonder how do we use them?" Yugo questions.
"I don't know fire." Yuto ring shoot fire.
It hits the Sludge Monster making it roar in pain.
"Wind!" Yugo's ring shoots wind enhancing the flames.
"Okay Earth." Yuto uses his other ring as earth walls surround the beast.
"Water." Yugo uses his second ring to fill up the box with water.
The sludge breaks out and shoots at them again. The brothers dodges it, then they shoot more of the elements as it seems to absorb it.
"What does heart do?" Yuto said.
"Heart." Yugo tries it out.
Then a few animals came to attack, this surprises the two.
"So it can talk to animals." Yuto said.
"Useful." Yugo said.
The rings start to glow making them curious.
"Hey what if we use them all together." Yuto said.
"That could work." Yugo said.
"Earth! Fire!" Yuto starts off.
'"Wind! Water!" Yugo said next.
"Heart!" Both Brother said together.
They're energies hit the ground as a figure comes out with the elements around him.
"By your powers combined I am Captain Planet!" The Figure said as it transforms into a silver skin man with green hair.
"Wow." Yuto got surprised.
"Captain Planet?" Yugo questions.
"Thanks to you using your powers, I was able to come and help you." He smiles.
Captain Planet then looks at the Sludge Monster.
"Time to clean up." Captain Planet said.
He shoots water and wind washing it away into a big hole. The creature tries to get out but Captain Planet shoots a powerful gust of wind to push it inside with earth spikes coming out to trap it.
"He's powerful." Yugo said.
"And now." He shoots fire making it screech as it starts to turn into vapor.
"Yeah!" Yuto said.
The creature was destroyed and Captain Planet smiles that the enemy against nature was stopped.
"Call on me when you need my help for the power is yours!" Captain Planet said to the brothers.
"Alright Captain Planet!" They gave thumbs up.
He gives a thumbs up back before leaving.
The rings got they're powers back and they saw Gaia appear.
"Gaia." Yugo said. "These rings gives us power of the elements and Heart gives us the power to communicate with animals."
"Yes though the Heart Ring has more abilities than you think." Gaia said.
"So the main purpose is to call upon Captain Planet." Yuto said.
"Yes though the rings by themselves will give you two more possibilities in the battles to come." Gaia said.
"Well thanks." Yuto said.
"This should help us greatly." Yugo said.
She goes off and Yuto said: "Well let's go."
Yugo nods as they move on.
"To think that they can summon a powerful warrior." Yugo said.
"Well I wonder what the Heart ring can do more." Yuto said.
She did say theres more to that one than just the animal part. Yugo looks at the ring and wonders about the same thing as his brother.
"We'll have to see about it later on."
"Yeah, who knows what the rings can do together. But the rings lost they're power when Captain Planet came out." Yuto noticed.
"Well it must be powering him up." Yugo said.
"Until then let's go back." Yuto said.
"Maybe the girls will help understand them better." Yugo said.
"Possibly." Yuto said.
The brothers got now powerful rings with a strong ally in Captain Planet, they hope he can help them against the dragon.
Note: heres a special Chapter for Earth day as it's Captain Planet appearing, Gaia gave the twins the rings to help them out in the future.
