—-Katarina's Point of view—-

Today I was outside the estate for one reason, training,"Onion lets train start training your Dragon Pulse okay?" "Goomy!"

With Onion's understanding of the commands, I put her down on the ground while I practiced my sword skills, just in case Geordo decides against using his Tyrantrum in a bad ending and goes Fortune Lover on me.

Anne was standing there to supervise me when she decided to tell me "I shall be getting some refreshments, My Lady" and left 'I hope it's lemonade or maybe some water for Onion' while I was thinking about a very important topic I had saw something that was yellow almost like a heart but without the bottom and it was inside a bush and so I decided to investigate 'what's the worst that could happen?' I thought and so I put my wooden sword down and walked over.

I tugged on the yellow thing and it turns out it was a heart and attached to a string 'how did string get in this medieval set up?' little did I notice that during this another string with a yellow heart on the end had wrapped around my waist and after the string tied around me, a white cloud like cotton had risen from the bushes with a purple balloon following under it.

When I looked up from the string I was holding I saw the entire thing or should I say 'That a Pokémon! A Driftloon. Wait a minute, didn't Driftloon have like a cursed dex entry' and I went on to try and remember the dex entry, during this I closed my eyes and the Driftloon had started to lift me up.

I didn't even notice I was being taken away until Anne had screamed "KATARINA!"

'Oh~ now I remember it was that Driftloon kidnapped children… wait I'm technically an eight year old psyically so…' and realising this I immediately screamed "ANNE HELP!"

Which she did by grabbing a Pokéball and throwing it to the ground, revealing a Leavanny.

Anne quickly commanded for Leavanny to attack the Drifloon but stated "Don't use any long range attacks, we don't want to hit Katarina" and the Leavanny nodded and jumped on a nearby tree for extra height and used Leaf Blade, however the Leaf Blade was dodged by the Driftloon and it used Thunderbolt on the Leavannny which knocked her back to the ground.

It was at this point that I realised that the Drifloon and me were too high up for Leavanny to use the tree again and so I shouted "Anne, just get help I'm too high up!"

Anne looked torn over whether or not to leave but before leaving had started to rummage through her pockets and gave Leavanny a strange sphere that the bug later threw towards me, luckily I caught it and after seeing that Anne had left to alert someone else to help me.

While I was getting flown away, I decided to question where I was going since there was nowhere for Onion to safely land if she didn't immediately go onto me and plus even if Onion managed to defeat the Driftloon, I wouldn't have any way to get down.

While this was happening, a Mandibuzz had swooped over and attacked the Drifloon carrying me. Dark vs Ghost, not a good combo, and the Driftloon must've thought the same since it dropped me to flee faster.

Luckily there was a sea under me so falling wasn't an issue, what was an issue was the Mandibuzz trying to catch me for dinner, so my best shot to avoid that was getting into the water before the Mandibuzz could catch me and after temporarily stunning it using the ball Anne gave me, I managed to fall into the water and that thankfully caused the Mandibuzz to give up on me and flew away.

Now there was getting out of the water. I put the sphere that Anne gave me into my mouth, leaving my hands free for me to doggie paddle near shore and after 5 minutes of doggie paddling I had reached the shore.

'… Now what? I guess I should get some food and wait till someone finds me, my family is powerful so they should have some Pokémon that can track me and I guess Anne gave me this random ball for a reason so I should keep it safe' and so I grabbed some beached up Seaweed and tied it around my waist with the ball to my side, I then went into the forest and plucked some mushrooms using a rock and sent out Onion to survey the area for me.

Suddenly I heard Onion start crying for me so I went over to see what the issue was, that's when I was Onion hiding behind a rock and so I hid behind it aswell and slightly peered over the rock and saw a Nidoking and Nidoqueen.

There was poison everywhere; the trees, the ground and the air was Smokey from the fumes but not toxic enough to hurt me or Onion and then we watched the fight ensue.

The Nidoking kept using Ice Punch against the Nidoqueen while she used Water Pulse, Eventually the Nidoking had managed to over power the Nidoqueen, causing the Nidoqueen to flee as the Nidoking and grabbed the food behind it and left and WAIT ITS GOING IN MY DIRECTION!

I grabbed Onion and tried to make a break for it but the Nidoking was surprisingly very fast and captured me and Onion, taking me into a random cave.

The cave was big with multiple holes and I caught glimpses of Nidoran and Nidorino inside them with the occasional Nidoking as well, eventually I was taken into a separate strange area; It had a shiny Nidoking sitting on throne like rocks and the Nidoking itself had a King's Rock on it's head and along with being covered in scars even on it's eyes.

Shiny Nidoking Boss: It child, child harmless, send to my son he bored.
Nidoking soldier: Okay Boss.

—-Katarina's Point of view—-

For some reason, after the Nidoking finished 'talking?' The Nidoking put me into some random hole, blocked only by a curtain of leaves. There was food everywhere and startling amount of it was already eaten and I could see a ball of blue fur with poorly tied on sticks around it's back. 'Am I gonna get eaten!'

The ball of fur had noticed me and so got up to look over and, thankfully, it was just a Munchlax.

After seeing me, the had Munchlax started to attempt to walk, but for some reason it didn't walk on its two legs and instead it had hopped on all fours, kinda like a Venusaur but much slower so I went in front of the Munchlax

"Where are you going?"

"Munchlax!" Unfortunately I don't speak Pokémon, but I do speak drawing so I grabbed a stick and showed it to draw in the ground by drawing a picture of me drawing.

The Munchlax drew a picture of itself with a berry in its hands, 'oh its hungry'

So I grabbed the Munchlax and carried it towards a pile of food, surprisingly enough; the Munchlax instead of eating it, drew a picture of me eating the berry and 'well I am hungry' so I took the free snack "the anime always did make the berries look tasty with how the Pokémon acted"

it looked like a Pecha berry but yellow instead of pink with brown spots and it wasa like eating a chocolate cake with chocolate chips and chocolate drizzle with the juices tasting like maple syrup, so perfect for a sweet tooth like me. "Yummy"

For some reason the Munchlax had started looking at me with starry eyes like it was surprised I accepted its gift, but I was still curious as to why it had those sticks on it and why it was hopping like a Venusaur "Hey Munchlax, why do you have those sticks on you?"

The Munchlax just said "Munch" as it started drawing a picture of a Nidoran, then an arrow with a Nidoran needle broken and another arrow to show self with broken needles, "You're a Munchlax, you don't come with needles"

But the Munchlax had frantically shook its head and drew a picture it and a Nidoran with an equal sign inbetween, but I decided to continue to ask why it thought it was a Nidoran and especially why the real Nido's were going along with it "So then why are you blue?"

The Munchlax then drew a picture of the shiny Nidoking I saw and put a sparkle above it and the Nidoking had Munchlax holding it in his arms, the Munchlax then drew a picture of a normal Nidoran and Nidoking in a similar position. 'Ohh… so It thinks its a shiny Nidoran'

I decided to let it go, but the Munchlax was pretty worked up over the entire incident so I thought of the greatest Idea ever conceived so I grabbed a vine "Let's play a game, you too Onion"

—-Geordo's Point of view—-

After a few minutes of waiting for Katarina, the Duchess Claes had decided to tell me "I am deeply sorry for the delay my daughter has caused, Prince Geordo"

"It's alright Duchess Claes, I can wait for my fiancée" I'm the perfect prince, obviously I can wait a few minutes for my fiancée 'although I'm starting to get concerned, her brother had almost her with his Pokémon so what if he's not exactly the "cute little brother" Katarina thinks he is, I still need her as marriage shield'

While I was inquiring on Katarina's disappearance. Katarina's maid, Anne, had rudely rushed into the room with a panicked expression, I had seen Anne when I first met Katarina and she had the perfect deadpan expression but not this time and she had shouted "Katarina has been kidnapped by a Driftloon!"

The announcement had immediately made the Duke and Duchess Claes, rise from their chairs and start asking a slew of questions along the lines of "How did she get kidnapped?!", "How did you let this happen?!", "When did this happen?!", etc.

Although I was less worried about my fiancée's sudden abduction than her caregivers, on the contrary I found it rather amusing 'How did she even manage to get captured by such a Pokémon? Its simply a floating ball with strings for arms and didn't the reports say she practicing swordsmanship?"

However I do realize that this wasn't exactly the appropriate time to laugh at the situation just yet and so I acted accordingly "Anne, is there any clues or leads to where Katarina is now?"

Anne worthily nodded and said "Yes Prince Geordo, before I left to get help I gave Katarina a ball containing a pollonated flower inside"

Before I started to question the why, Anne had sent out her Butterfree and continued saying "Butterfree can track the scent of pollen so we can locate her"

The Duke Claes immediately rose "Great job Anne, now go get the riding equipment and you'll be coming with us aswell so go get ready too"

Anne only said "Yes sir" and left leaving the Duke to turn towards me and tell me "Prince Geordo, Please forgive us but we'll have to cut the meeting short"

Understandable however I am still curious about the shenanigans my fiancée endured during this event and so

"I understand Lord Claes, however may I ask for the rescheduling to be due tomorrow? I simply couldn't bear to not be able to console my dear fiancée" while giving my best fake smile possible, afterall I do not want to lose out on some new excitement.

The Claes Duke had predictably responded with a "Ah! yes of course, Prince Geordo"

However before the Duke could attempt to leave, Keith Claes, bursted into the room and repeated the same information given by Anne "Katarina has been kidnapped by a Pokémon!"

However as this was old news, and the Duchess Claes had decided to increase Keith's comprehension of the scenario by telling him "Anne has already alerted us and we currently have a lead and are getting ready, Keith"

Keith then looked down, and had the nerve to start blushing in embarrassment before asking "Can I join you to save Big sister?"

"Yes of course you can, Keith"

'It seems my fears of Keith being an assassin were incorrect, instead he's an incompetent and clingy, idiot'

'At least I do not have to worry about my fiancée getting assassinated and eventually Keith will control his Pokémon and get out of his phase of being clingy'

—-Katarina's Point of view—-

I after playing tug of war for half an hour, Munchlax and Onion were both completely exhausted so I decided that we would take short break and grabbed some berries from Mucnhlax's berry pile.

Suddenly, I heard heavy rain from outside and thunder but strangely enough Munchlax had started to use Dig and peered his head out to try and get me and Onion inside.

"Is this another game? I thought you were tired?" But I played along despite my confusion and went into the hole with Onion ahead of me.

Once I entered the hole, Munchlax had covered most of the entrance with rock leaving me to just barely see with a tiny hole and so I mainly used hearing to understand what was outside.

I heard water but this wasn't outside the lair, no it was inside and my prediction was correct as through the tiny hole, I saw water come into room and land on top of the hole before getting absorbed and thankfully the water hadn't caused the entire tunnel to collapse.

After a while of nothing but roars and water, I heard a loud that sounded like it was right outside Munchlax's chamber and a saw a blue foot that looked like it belonged to a Nidoqueen.

Unfortunately, she noticed the hole and punched a fist into the ground and yanked me out of the underground, with Onion running out of the hole and attempting to use Bubble to stop the Nidoqueen but the Nidoqueen only kicked Onion as cross the room and into a wall.

Out of fear I begged "Munchlax, Help!"

Thankfully the Munchlax had managed to use Ice Beam on the eyes of Nidoqueen, causing her to drop me and so I grabbed Munchlax and Onion and ran out of the chamber.

Eventually we faced a wall and so I commanded "Munchlax use Dig on the wall!" and thankfully he listened and dug through the wall allowing us to escape through it

I ran, even if it was raining, I ran. The Nidoqueen could get to me 'I am not facing my doom! Not like this! ' and so I kept running even after I was tired and I couldn't feel my legs, it was only when my legs gave and that I stopped and fell to my knees, dropping Munchlax and Onion in the process.

Unfortunately, I had chosen a bad spot to collapse as right behind the bushes there was a fight going on with a shiny Nidoqueen shielding a Toxel and Venipede and across was the shiny Nidoking I had seen earlier.

I'll teach you what a real Nidoqueen is supposed to look like once I get rid of that stranger's children

Shiny Nidoqueen Boss: Not Nidoran? Wut about your son? He eat more than me!

Shiny Nidoking Boss: My son injured and need food to heal and me son doesn't electrocute or afraid of birds like your son and daughter.

Shiny Nidoking and Shiny Nidoqueen Boss: Clearly you is going blind and taking child that vaguely look like a Nidoran in its unique colors.

—-Katarina's Point of view—-

After the shiny Nidoqueen and Nidoking finished roaring at each other, the Nidoqueen had turned towards the Pokémon behind her and shooed them away, causing the Venipede and Toxel to run towards a tree nearby me, Munchlax and Onion.

Now I'm certain how exactly the rain outside and water inside was caused, since the the shiny Nidoqueen had used Surf with the Nidoking returning with an Earthquake.

This had caused the surrounding area to be heavily damaged with some trees collapsing.

After a while of heavy fighting, the Nidoking had sent a Rock Tomb with the Nidoqueen using Rock Smash to stop most of the Rocks. Stray rocks had hit the tree where the Toxel and Venipede were hiding and it started to collapse, out of instinct, I ran towards the two Pokémon to get them out of the away from the collapsing trees.

Unfortunately, I had landed outside the cover of the forest and so the Nidoqueen had saw me clutching the Pokémon it was probably protecting and responded badly and the next thing I saw was a Thunderbolt charging towards me.

I closed my eyes in fear and braced myself for impact while turning in a way to shield the Venipede and Toxel.

And in a few seconds the attack will hit me, One… two… three… 'huh? Why am I still fine?'

For some reason, there was no attack and so I cautiously opened my eyes, infront of me stood a Garchomp with my Mother and Keith on its back.

The Garchomp must've protected me Thunderbolt, he is a Ground type so it'll be fine, especially because I can see another Garchomp taking down the shiny Nidoking and Nidoqueen

Immediately after I saw them, I was embraced Keith and mother "Katarina dear, are you alright?"

"Thanks to Garchomp, i'm fine" and I looked down to see if the Pokémon were okay as well, "Are you little guys okay?", and they responded with a very monotone "Ven" and a reluctant "El" but they should be okay.

"Oh wait! The forest isn't stable so what about Munchlax and Onion!" Upon realising this, I immediately rushed over to where I left Onion and Munchlax, with the Pokémon I saved in my arms.

I cried out while pushing past tree's "Munchlax, Onion, are you okay?!" And thankfully once I arrived to the area, Onion and Munchlax were both unscathed with them rushing towards me to ask the very same question "Yah I'm alright!" And embraced the two Pokémon in tightest hug possible.

Eventually my father's Garchomp had easily defeated the shiny Nidoking and Nidoqueen and mother's Garchomp had entered the cave and knocked out all the Pokémon inside, mother had said something about investigating why the female and male Nidos were fighting and after two hours and interviewing me, she went over to explain what must've happened.

"The shiny Nidoking is the leader of his pack and after examining his body, it is clear that he is next to blind meaning the male must've seen your Munchlax as its child due to it's poor eyesight as normally they simply ignore other Pokémon that aren't of their species and the rest of the pack might've been scared into submission and by observing the female shiny Nidoqueen and she must've faced something similar, except with a Toxel and Venipede rather than a Munchlax"

I had a nervous feeling as to where this was going and so I sheepishly asked "Can they stay here though?"

I was unfortunately right as mother told me "No, these Pokémon aren't native to this area and have caused major damage to the ecosystem as a result, It is the duty of a Duke and Dutchess to protect the ecosystem of their territory and hence we will have to take away Munchlax, Venipede and Toxel into their native lands"

'But they aren't used to their natural environment and I don't wanna say goodbye to Munchlax' I then turned towards Munchlax and made up my mind "Mother, all they have to be is out of this ecosystem and not disturb another, right?"

"Correct"

"Then mother, please allow me to take of them, all of them!"

Mother had started to visually wince, but I didn't falter and she sight of my determination must've convinced her as mother told me "Alright, but you understand the consequences right?"

"Yes ma'am, I have to feed them and play with them and train them"

Keith then appeared behind mother and quietly said "Um, sister that isn't what mother is referring to"

I was confused "What else could she be talking about?" 'what other things would a Pokémon do?'

"In Socierian tradition, A person has their first Pokémon given to their parents once they get engaged or reach a certain age, then the second is gained on their own and the third Pokémon is given by their spouse. Katarina, the entirety of noble society will view you as someone; doesn't care about tradition, completely ignorant towards it or hates their spouse"

'Oh no! What if Geordo gets insulted and thinks I hate him! That's an early doo-' I was then pulled out my thoughts suddenly as Munchlax had started poking my leg "Was I making a funny face or something? Sorry Munchlax"

'That's right, if I don't face off this doom flag then Munchlax might have to face his own all by himself' thinking about this, I proutly looked over to mother and told her "I understand the consequences and will take them on"

"Okay then, Katarina, take these Ultraballs and the Greatball" said mother

I grabbed the Ultraballs and threw them to Venipede and Toxel, which had caught them and then I turned towards Munchlax and put the Greatball infront of him and asked "Would you like to join me?"

Munchlax raised his head towards me and said "Munch… Munchlax!" And tapped on the Greatball and was captured.

"Okay Lady Katarina, It's time to go back home with Lord Keith" Anne said

"Alright Anne"
