—-Katarina's Point of view—-

Today was the day that Keith left to go get his own starter Pokémon, so I have had some more free time

That's why I was in my room and lying on my bed, thinking about what to do today when all the sudden Durian, my Munchlax, had jumped on my stomach as he started patting on his belly to say that he was hungry.

"Geez Durian, you sure do eat a lot." I said as I grabbed him and held him in my arms, I then started heading towards the door before continuing my statement saying "You better hope I can find enough food for you when I get exiled"

That was when it hit me 'Wait… How am I gonna get food for everyone, let alone myself. I don't think there's many employers that'll be willing to hire a teenager or former noble as a mercenary or bodyguard so I won't always be able to get jobs, If only I could get a Pokémon that makes food for me'

While I was deep in thought, Chanterelle, my Venipede, charged towards my legs to headbutt (not the move) me which made look down at her and I saw that the entire ground covered in mud as she was tracking mud everywhere with her little legs

"Chanterelle! Whenever you track mud mother always thinks I did it" I cried, even though I do it occasionally, "And why are you headbutting me?"

Chanterelle only responded with a low "Ven" and glared at me before she continued to headbutt me.

'Must be Hangry' I thought as I decided to pick the wiggling Chanterelle up to bring her with me into the kitchen.

When I arrived at the Kitchen, I saw tons of vegetables and fruits with tons chefs and maids gathering more and more produce into the Kitchen.

And that was when I thought of it 'Farming, I should become a Farmer when I get exiled, then I can use Pokémon for help and defence!'

The Head Maid had noticed me, while I making my fantastic plan, and asked me "Oh! Lady Katarina, what are you doing here?"

That snapped me out of my thoughts and I told her "Oh I'm just getting some food for Chanterelle and Durian"

The Head Maid looked stunned for moment before sputtering out "Ah… I- um… is that their names?"

"Yup"

"Okay then, I'm gonna go prepare your Pokémon food. It'll take awhile so you should try and preoccupy yourself with something else"

And with that the Head maid left to go make the food and attend to her duties.

While the food cooked, I decided to go to the garden to borrow Gardener Tom's shovel and started digging holes near my Training Area with Durian helping me in digging the holes and Chanterelle, sleeping, so I put her back in her Pokéball.

After awhile of digging, my shovel had hit a tough black rock that didn't budge no matter what I did to break it and so it was time for Durian to show off "Durian, use Ice Beam!"

Durian's Ice Beam caused the 'rocks' move out of the ground and onto the surface right next to me and Durian, It had two triangles for eyes and a body cloaked in darkness aside from the occasional orange glow and had four wheels for legs, 'This isn't a Rock that a Carkol!'

The Carkol then bursted into flames that surrounded its whole body and suddenly moved with lightning speed towards Durian, Durian was hit and flew into a nearby tree and I ran towards him to see if he was alright only to see that he was fainted

'Okay, Carkol is a Rock and Fire type so Chanterelle would be in a terrible disadvantage as a Bug type. Purprea (Toxel) is inside getting a bubble bath and Durian is knocked out leaving Onion left and she has a resistance to Fire and she has Water moves so-'

But before I could send Onion out to take care of the Carkol, a Blue Tyrunt had just Jumped above the Carkol with its feet talons having a bluish accent, most likely a Dragon Claw, and clawed the Carkol.

The Carkol attempted to open its mouth and I saw an orange glow, maybe a Flamethrower or Ember, however I'll never know since I heard a voice saying "Tyrunt, Use Ancient Power" and the Shiny Tyrunt had blasted the summoned rock right into the mouth of the Carkol, stopping the move.

"Tyrunt, Dragon Claws again" said the voi- 'wait I know that voice'

The Tyrunt proceeded to use Dragon Claws and that managed to knock out the Carkol, but what I'm more concerned with is that voice and so I turned to find where the source of it and there stood "Prince Geordo?"

—-Geordo's Point of view—-

I heard a voice calling my name and as I thought it was my fiancée, Lady Katarina Claes.

'It seems that the reports weren't exaggerated in the slightest. I come over to the Claes estate so I can finalize the engagement and I have to save the Claes child from a hilariously weak wild Pokémon, how in the world did this girl survive a Driftloon Kidnapping and a Wild Pokémon feud?'

Of course, I didn't say those thoughts since I have to be the genius, prefect and charismatic prince so I told her "Why hello there Lady Katarina Cla-" but alas, my greeting was halted by my great shock as I witnessed my noblewoman fiancée in clothes reminiscent to that of a peasant farmer, such a thing most certainly doesn't abide by the traditions and standards of noble society

My eyes also wandered to the scene around the young Claes, ignoring the remains of the fight between Tyrunt and Carkol, it was clear that there was holes that weren't caused by a Pokémon attack due to the holes being far too organized for a frantic wild Pokémon to achieve and there's a shovel near the area that the Carkol presumably was due to the hole being much deeper and bigger than the rest along with some of the dirt looking darker in the way that suggests a burning.

'someone must've been digging holes here but it couldn't have been Lady Claes, a noble child couldn't possibly be doing such degrading manual labour'

And so I confronted the noble woman, saying "Lady Claes, might I ask what you were doing previously?"

And without a moments hesitation, the Claes said "Making a farm, This little guy loves to eat!" While giving me the most oblivious grin possible and holding the Munchlax in her arms.

'Ah, s-so a Claes child was creating a farm' It seems that despite years of training to force a smile, I still do not have complete control over my body or facial expressions as I couldn't help but chuckle at the ridiculousness of such a situation, although I couldn't relish in my amusement for long since Katarina Claes looked to be slightly distressed

I recomposed myself and looked back up towards Katarina "Ah I see, that is a very… unique manner of Pokémon caretaking"

To my relief, Katarina Claes looked to be pleased by my response and so I had to capitalize on her better mood to do what I came here for, I put right leg flat on the ground with the left leg in a kneeling position, then put my Ieft arm to my chest as I began to start my proposal.

"Lady Katarina Claes, I have come to present myself to you formally" I then stretched my right hand out as I continued "will you accept my proposal of marriage?"

Katarina Claes had turned towards me with a slightly panicked expression, 'She must be nervous', and said "Huh- what? Oh um- yah sure" while her head was facing my Tyrunt

'Is she paying attention?, no that cannot be, sure Katarina Claes hasn't shown any traits of a normal noblewoman so far, but she wouldn't do something as absentminded as ingnoring a prince'

Katarina Claes immediately after I had removed myself from my position; grabbed both my hands, turning them into a clutched fist as if I was praying, and held them in place with her own hands

Katarina Claes had then looked at me with with excited eyes as she said "Hey Geordo, can I touch it?"

'…What? No seriously, what is she talking about, touching what?… me?' I nearly broke out into a blush on 'me' because, sure I'm used to noblegirls falling inlove with me, but to be this forward

And so I gave Katarina the opportunity to see the error in her conduct and told her "What exactly by 'it' are you reffering to, Lady Claes"

However Katarina Claes only turned her head in confusion, as if she said the most clear and obvious thing in the world and said "The Tyrunt over there." and pointed towards my Tyrunt, who was currently keeping watch of a tied up Carkol "Also call me 'Katarina', 'Lady Claes' sounds too formal" said La- sorry, said Katarina

"I do not see the issue in touching my Tyrunt ,so long as he's comfortable of course"

And as soon as I said that, Katarina ran faster than any noble I had ever seen, including adults and that didn't just shock me but my Tyrunt also, he didn't know how to react a human girl charging at him and just froze and I took note of that 'I should train that out him'

Once Katarina got a hold of Tyrunt, she started to pet his head at a very rapid rate, Tyrunt didn't seem to be very uncomfortable but looked rather confused

Once I walked over to Katarina and Tyrunt, Katarina started bombarding me with her inquiries "Where'd you get them, I didn't see any Tyrunt at the Dragon Daycare? How long did you have him for, How strong is he? Or wait is it a she or a he? And what's their name?"

I was perplexed by the sudden barrage of questions, but it wasn't too much for me to answer and so I told her "I recently attained *Him as a gift from my father, unfortunatly, you will not find a Tyrunt anywhere in the wild as it reserved solely for the royal family, as for Tyrunt's strength, I would like to belive that I have trained him well and lastly Tyrunt does not have a specific name"

Katarina looked to be in deep thought, as if she was hesitating to ask a question and But I belive that Katarina either solved her dilemma or came up with a new question, Katarina looked up towards me and asked "Hey Geordo, you wanna have Pokémon battle with me?"

'I think I am starting to see a pattern with Katarina, she does something outrageous in the eyes of noble society and I get amused. Although, I am concerned that Katarina will dislike the outcome of this battle since I've seen her Munchlax's performance against the Carkol, I do not think she is ready to give up on this idea of hers so I shall go easy on her'

"Sure, I would love to accept your challenge" I said, whilst giving a perfect princely smile

"Great! oh wait, lets do it in the forest of no one will get hurt." Said Katarina as she grabbed my hand and started to drag me as our Pokémon followed us 'Did she just say forest'

Once me and Katarina arrived to an area she liked, she let go of my hand and I decided to tell her "Katarina, before we commence our match, I shall set some rules of conduct; to a certain extent, No Bondaries are available and No potions or special medicines and berries shall be used unless they are a battle item. Understand?"

Katarina had frantically nodded and said "Yup got it, so are we gonna start?"

I gave out a little chuckle and told her "Yes Katarina, we can begin our match", I then cleared my throat and said with a proud voice "Tyrunt, I call summon you"

And Tyrunt ran in front of me with a confidient "TY!"

Katarina then took out a Pokéball as she said "Onion, I choose you!" And threw the Pokéball

'Onion?' And from the brightness that the Pokéball emitted, there stood a… 'is that Goomy?'

But there was no time for me to question the opponent's chosen Pokémon as Katarina said her first command, "Onion, use Rain Dance"

'Terrain setting is smart but you cannot defeat Tyrunt with cheap tricks' "Tyrunt, use Dragon Pulse"

And a dragon-like beam of light and power was send from Tyrunt mouth towards his target.

Katarina responded in suit with her own move, however she didn't say a command I knew and I'm certain wasn't anything in Socerian as she said "りゅうのはどう, りゅうのいぶき"

But the Goomy looked to respond a simular manner as Tyrunt Dragon Pulse, as she sent out a beam of dragonic light that collided into Tyrunt's Dragon Pulse, the collision of the two moves caused a light fog to be created and in that fog, the Goomy managed to sneak up on Tyrunt through the fog and seemingly without a command, used a move that caused the Goomy to shoot a beam Purplish-blue from its mouth and the Goomy fired that beam at Tyrunt, Tyrunt only just barely managed to notice the attack in time to dodge, however, he noticeably got grazed by the attack 'I think the dodge managed to lessen to the damage'

'The Goomy had used it's first move to deflect mine and use the collision's fog as a protection, so Tyrunt should use a move Goomy cannot dodge of deflect', "Tyrunt, use Earthquake"

Tyrunt immediately started to jump up and down, causing intense shaking in the earth below us and the Goomy or Katarina hadn't prepared a plan by the looks of it as Goomy took the damage head on and suffered

"みずのはどう,はいよるいちげき" and the Goomy, upon hearing this, shook its 'head' side to side before it opened it's mouth to shoot a sphere of a blue, most likely water, liquid towards Tyrunt

My eyes were fixed onto that sphere to gage whether or not Tyrunt could dodge in time and I said "Dodge it, Tyrunt" and Tyrunt obeyed as he had jumped above the sphere of water, dodging the entire move unlike last time, However, to mine and Tyrunt's shock, Goomy was no longer in her original spot

It didn't take long for the Goomy to reappear as she had jumped behind Tyrunt from a Shadow and slammed her body into him. But Katarina wasn't finished with her commands as she said "すいとる" and upon hearing the mysterious order, Goomy quickly wrapped its antennae around Tyrunt's Tail and clung onto him as she started to glow green from preparing an attack

'Whatever Katarina is planning, I do not want to find out. This a little more tense than I thought it would be.'

"Tyrunt, bite Goomy off with Ice Fang"

Tyrunt turned his body and opened his mouth, revealing that Tyrunt's fangs had turned blue. Tyrunt then grabbed Goomy threw her into the air

Katarina then said "Onion, land on Tyrunt's face!", The reason Katarina used Socerian suddenly escapes me, however I do accept the ability to prepare for her idea and so I could theorise that Katarina wanted to try the grabbing trick again

"Tyrunt, Use Ancient Power" and Katarina quickly said "みずのはどう"

Tyrunt's body began to glow a while, then he started summoned a Bolder above his opened mouth, Goomy had opened her mouth to see that she had started producing another sphere of water

The two moves collided into one another and a small explosion was the result with dust clouds covering the battlefield once more

And when the dust cleared there was Tyrunt and around his snout was Onion the Goomy, who had her antennae holding Tyrunt's Snout into a forceful shut.

Katarina then said "すいとる,すいとる,すいとる" and the Goomy along with Tyrunt had started glowing a very light green and there were small orbs of light leaving Tyrunt and entering Goomy

'I regonize that move, that is Absorb' and so I knew that if this continued, Tyrunt would run out of energy and I would lose the battle 'that cannot happen, I must be the perfect Prince'

I shouted with vigour "Tyrunt! Use Sandstorm!"

"TY!" And a massive Sandstorm has started brewing.

And after some shaking and the damage of the Sandstorm, Goomy had finally been knocked off Tyrunt and it was time to get that lost health back and end this battle

"Tyrunt, use Rest" and with that Tyrunt fell flat and limp on the ground, but I hadn't commanded Tyrunt this move without a plan

Katarina said "りゅうのはどう" and the Goomy had released a dragon-like beam of purple light, however before the move landed I said "Tyrunt, use Sleep Talk"

And upon hearing the command, Tyrunt had rose up and spun around with turquoise and glowing tail, The tail made contact with Goomy's move and destroyed it, but, Tyrunt's tail was still glowing since his move was still active

Katarina looked shocked by this sudden spike in Tyrunt's power and I would be too if I didn't already know about Tyrunt's little quirk

'For some reason this, Tyrunt is constantly holding himself back in when battling, whether or not I desire for him to do so, however, Tyrunt does fight at full capacity when he is asleep'

Tyrunt had charged directly towards Goomy and started slashing everything near him with his Tail

Katarina, with a worried expression, said "Onion, I can't see anything, defend yourself"

'Makes sense, a normal person wouldn't be able to see through this sandstorm, however the Stewart family has access to contact lenses that allows people to see through tough storms'

The Goomy started to blast a series of water spheres towards Tyrunt.

Tyrunt's Tail had managed to destroy all of the spheres, however the move that Tyrunt was using had been destroyed in the process and in response, Tyrunt started stomp his feet on the ground as if he was having a tantrum and charged towards Goomy and the Goomy couldn't dodge in time and got knocked into a tree

But Tyrunt wasn't finished, as he charged towards Goomy with his face positioned downward to deliver a violent Headbutt

Tyrunt then grabbed Goomy with purple fangs and threw her into the air

This had the side effect of allowing Katarina to clearly see her Goomy, I suppose she wanted to capitalize on this as she said "あまごい"

The sandstorm had cleared as it was replaced with a rainstorm. 'Must have been a Rain Dance"

However this only allowed for both Katarina and her Goomy to see Tyrunt, his mouth open and a light orange sphere was inside of it

I know exactly what move Tyrunt is using, I trained him to learn and hone it for months, Draco Meteor

Tyrunt shot the ball of light from his mouth, It flew into the air and grazed the Goomy as she was falling, but the move wasn't finished the ball of light had soared above until it had gotten to around two thousand centimetres in the air by the looks of it

Then the ball spontaneously split into several smaller parts, the split orbs then rapidly fell to the ground at near blinding speed, many of the smaller orbs had hit the Goomy as they fell to the ground and the others had collided into the earth

When I looked at the battlefield, Tyrunt had stood, the Goomy layed unconscious. Not dead of course just Fainted.

Katarina ran towards her Pokémon to grab her from the cold and wet crater of mud that it layed within

'That was quite the experience, her Goomy is quite skillful. I only wish that the inevitable had came a little later though'

"Geordo…" Katarina said, looking down while clutching her Pokémon.

'Here it comes, the classic "noble" tantrum' and I attempted to to brace myself for the yelling and complaining.

"That was amazing! Did you command the Sandstorm just for the sake of getting Onion off Tyrunt or because you also wanted the disrupt my sight? What was the stomping move that Tyrunt used while asleep? Did you train Tyrunt Draco Meteor yourself or did someone else do it?"

I think this was the first time years that I was stunned to silence in a manner this dramatic

'I have battled before, multiple times and with plenty of powerful nobles and trainers, the opponents usually do congratulate my victory but this is often begrudgingly and it is obvious to everyone that they dislike me for, especially when we are in private do they show their true viewpoint, so Katarina praising me without alternative motives, it is quite a pleasant change of pace'

I decided to honour my fiancée's question and so said "Well Katarina, to start with your first question; I commanded T-" but I stopped my answer mid sentence as I saw the Duchess Claes and her Garchomp behind Katarina

'That is not good, I am certain that the Duchess Claes will not be overjoyed about a noblewoman battling a prince'

Katarina only looked at me with confusion, certainly because I stopped talking suddenly and then she asked me "Commanded Tyrunt what? I understand if you wanna keep your Pokémon battling strategies a secret" 'That is nice of you, Katarina, but that is not what I am worried about'

The Duchesss quickly grabbed Katarina by the back of her dress and yelled "Katarina!, what in the world were you thinking!, having a battle with a prince is not something that will finalize your engagement!"

In an attempt to try and save my fiancée or at the very least, reduce her punishment, I told the Duchess "Excuse me, Duchess Claes, I have actually finalised my engagement to Katarina"

Katarina looked at me with a confused expression and the Duchess Claes looked towards me and said "Prince Geordo, while you might not mind Katarina's conduct today, noble society will and so if it is not corrected then they will make things difficult for her in the future, you already know this, correct?"

"Yes, Duchess Claes"

"Good, I shall take my leave then" and the Duchess left with Katarina still held like a dog and her Garchomp holding Katarina's Goomy

—-Katarina's Point of view—-

To my surprise, mother's scolding was short as she only said that 'noblewomen should never challenge their fiancée to a Pokémon battle as that is the method that women assert that they are getting an annulment or divorce' so I guess I should avoid having those in public with Geordo

But because my scolding was so short, Geordo didn't leave and so the playdate continued but it happened inside since mother doesn't trust me outside with Geordo or outside at all

Mother assigned a room for me and Geordo to chat, so I went into the room and saw Geordo with a slightly worried expression 'probably just acting' as he was sitting on a red couch and his shiny Tyrunt was nowhere to be found so I think the Tyrunt must be resting from the battle or not allowed inside

Once Geordo noticed me he said "Katarina, my scensere apologises for having you thrusted into a conflict with the Duchess Claes"

'Geordo doesn't need to pretend to be worried about me and mother' and so I told Geordo "Oh that, don't worry about it, no harm done"

And Geordo smiled when he heard that but then cleared his throat and said "Well then, If you are of okay spirits then would you mind for me to inquire about the Drifloon Incident?"

'I don't think there was anything that could offend him or set off a doom flag' so I nodded my head and said "Yah that should be fine"

As we chatted about what happpened I noticed that Geordo might have a problem with staying still as he tended to shake a little whenever I mentioned something like the 'Tug-o-War' I played with Durian and Onion, eventually, I reached to the part about the Shiny Nidoking and Shiny Nidoqueen fight.

"I see, so you got to see a wild Pokémon feud up close. What happened next?"

"Well I didn't see the whole thing, but father's Garchomp managed to defeat the both of the shinies and after mother's Garchomp took out both Nidoking and Nidoqueen packs they explained to me that 'we protect the envioment' and so I asked if I could take the Munchlax and Tox-"

I stopped myself mid scentence because it was at this moment that I remembered something 'Mother said that nobles will think I hate Geordo if I have more than three Pokémon, I should keep it a secret so he doesn't try to exile me early'

But Geordo decided to question my sudden stop, saying "What is wrong, Katarina?, 'and Tox-' what?" While looking to have a small smirk on his face

'Okay quick, gotta come up with something' and so I frantically said "A Tox…DUSTOX! Yah uh a horde of Dustox flew over us and made everyone go asleep with Sleep Powder"

'Maybe that worked' It didn't work as Geordo told me "As a Prince, I have access to summaries of events relating to disruptions in the envioment of all duchies and as your fiancée, I reports on important events that may happen, with the consent of your parents obviously, and in none of these reports did they mention a Dustox and lying or withholding information on events that correlate to the envioment such as a horde or aggressive Dustox is high treason"

'Damn, he got me, and that's basically stalking, well he is the genius Prince afterall or maybe I should have payed attention in those BORING lessons' and so I caved and asked Geordo "Okay, I will tell you the truth, but please don't get mad"

Geordo nodded his head and so I said as quickly as possible "I caught the Toxel and Venipede, please don't be mad at me"

Geordo took a moment to process this, I don't know if it was because of how fast talked or because an engaged women having more than two Pokémon is that bad of taboo

I wasn't sure how long his thinking lasted but it gave me time to think aswell, 'why did I even catch the Venipede and the Toxel, Toxel doesn't like behaving and Venipede tends to attack me, but they would be alone, torn away from their families because they got lost or maybe even forced to relocate, I couldn't just get rid of them'

I decided to interupt Geordo's thinking by telling him "Geordo, I am really sorry if I broke a taboo you care about or what people might think of you because of me, but I just wanted to tell you not to ask me to get rid of Toxel or Venipede, The shiny Nidoqueen might have just adopted them but she was still their family but since they were harming the envioment I couldn't just leave them to be seprated and alone, so If you are mad please just punish me instead"

Geordo looked at me with unusally soft eyes as he said "Katarina, that taboo says nothing about what you actually feel, right?"

"Yah"

"So then there is absolutely nothing to worry about, If there is anyone who doubts your decision I will take care of them"

"Okay, Thanks Geordo"

Geordo looked like he was starting to overheat a little as he turned his head to the side, he then noticed that it was sunset as he said "My goodness, the sun is setting so that means I have overstayed my welcome, Adieu Katarina may we see each other at a later date and left"

Now that I was alone I could finally think about what happened today since I did just meet a major Doom Flag,

Katarina's Doom Avoidance Council Meeting #4

Chairmen Katarina decided to start the meeting, saying "Katarina just battled her Doom Flag head on and lost, hard, what do you guys think"

Surprisingly, Fearful Katarina decided to start off "I-I think that the results show that Geordo can beat us easily and so we cannot try to face him head on if we hit a Bad End but rather we should just run away with fast Pokémon"

Fearless Katarina decided to counter, "How are we gonna have enough time to run away if Katarina is weak?"

Happy Katarina then added to Fearless's point, saying "Maybe we could train our Pokémon to be so strong that they can hug Geordo's Pokémon into pacifism and no longer fight"

Smart Katarina then said "I think Happy does have a point, not the hug to happiness plan, that won't work, but Geordo had clearly gotten more training and tutoring than us, maybe the nearby forest could serve as our training grounds"

Competitive Katarina then chimed to Smart Katarina's point, as she said "And we can catch some new Pokémon to counter Geordo's Tyrunt" then Competitive Katarina dramatically gasped "Wait!, do you guys remember when we played Pokémon Pearl or when we played Pokémon Sapphire"

And the entire council nodded before Competitive Katarina continued "We should make a secret base in the forest that way we'll have a place to rest and store items in case an emergency and so we don't have to keep going back and forth when we're in the forest and we can even make a farm there and keep it secret from mother"

Smart Katarina then added saying "Also we could use our Pokémon's abilities of creating secret bases to survive exile if we can't get money fast enough to buy shelter immediately"

Fearful Katarina then asked "But how are we gonna convince mother to allow us to train in the forest, she knows that we lost to Geordo so I don't think she'll have confidence in our abilities"

But Happy Katarina objected, saying "We can just father, he'll listen to us"

Chairman Katarina then said "so then, Katarina shall create a Secret Base, train in the forest and improve her farming capabilities, all in favour say 'Aye'"

And the entire council said "Aye!" simultaneously.

Chairmen Katarina then announced "Then I declare this meeting, adjourn-"

"WAIT!" Said Lore Katarina

Chairman Katarina was confused and slightly worried and questioned "What is it Katarina, I'm kinda doing my thing"

Lore Katarina then explained herself "Doesn't anyone think its weird that Geordo has a fossil Pokémon since this universe doesn't have tech as advanced as the main series Pokémon games and so they couldn't have just revived it and since people didn't exist when Tyrunts were commonplace, how does the Stewart family have access to them?"

Happy Katarina decided to respond "Maybe the Ho-oh in the history book helped the Stewarts by reviving the Tyrunts and Tyrantrums"

Smart Katarina decided that she would give her own input of the topic "Is an inconsistency in the lore really all that important to be discussed in a Council Meeting?"

"I guess not, okay Chairman, end the meeting" Lore Katarina said

"Ahem, I delcare this meeting, adjourned!" Chairmen Katarina said as she banged her Gavel on her Sound Block

—-Katarina's Point of view—-

I went over father's office as he was handling paperwork, when he noticed me he said "Ah Katarina, I was just handling paperwork for Keith's starter Pokémon, why have you come to visit me so late"

'Okay just say "Special triaining" not the forest'

I tried to make my case, replying with "Well I wanted to try and convise you if I could get some special training"

"Special Training? What could that possibly mean?", father said with an amused look in his eyes.

'Sound smart, sound smart'

"Well, I belive that an Improve- I mean, enhancement of my uhh Pokémon battling abilities would benefit the Claes family" I clumsily said

"Hmm, how so"

'Shoot, I didn't think that far', I panicked as I attempted to form some semblance of a normal sentence, and stammered out a Half baked "Ah- um, so basically"

Then suddenly, I heard a loud 'Bang!' As the door leading into father's office was slammed open by mother "Luigi, do you know where Katarina is?, I wanted to as-, Katarina, what is exactly are you doing here?"

"Millidiana, what has invited your presence this fine evening?" Father said

Mother had responded saying "I had arrived because I was wondering what the Prince might have thought if he heard about the news that Katarina attained three Pokémon during the Driftloon Incident, but what exactly are you doing in here, Katarina?"

Before I could even try and make an excuse to try and hide the 'Special Training' I was interupted by father as he said "Katarina was convincing me to grant permission for 'Special Training' as she called it"

Mother then turned to me with an intimidating glare as she asked "And what exactly does 'Special Training' entail?"

"W-well I think that if I were to go to the forest nearby-"

Mother had cut me off from my explanation, saying "Absolutely not, Katarina, you aren't nearly skilled enough for the forest, you can't even control your Toxel and Venipede, you couldn't even win against Geordo in your battle"

Father looked noticeably curious and asked mother "Wait Millidiana, did you say Katarina battled Geordo?"

"Why, yes she I did, why?" Mother said

Father then turned to me and asked "Katarina, did Geordo's Tyrunt ever use Rest?"

'Why is that important?' But since Geordo did command a Rest, I told the truth and replied saying "Yes, why?"

Father looked a little shocked but quickly regained his composure as he said "I see, you have my permission Katarina. Always keep a Mudstale whenever you go out to the forest and your Pokémon Riding classes will start tomorrow, I'll explain this your mother, now go eat and rest for the day"

I don't know why father was suddenly convinced but I decided not to look this gift horse in the mouth and so left father's study and went downstairs.

—-Venipede's Point of view—-

When I was released from my Pokéball, I was finally able to move and look around the place.

The room I was in was ridiculously glammed up with sparkly rocks everywhere and everything was super clean, unlike the Nidoqueen cave. I saw that the blob named Onion and Gluttonous bear named Durian were eating some rocks out of bowls infront of them

My sister, who was nicknamed as Purprea by the human, also had a bowl, however, she refused to eat the rocks out of the bowl provided 'she always was such a brat', when I looked down I saw that there was a plate in front of me with rocks aswell.

'Does this Human really expect me to eat her rocks and poorly prepared berries' and why was I given a plate rather than a bowl' and so I defiantly attempted to go get my own food, but before I could leave by smashing the door, I was stopped by the Human who was protecting the door, the Human then tried attacking me from above and so I dodged her and shot poison near her feet as a warning

'That's right run away, Coward' I thought as she quickly left, but then the human had ran to my grab me by the sides, I tried biting her but my teeth didn't hit flesh, 'She's using armor, that cheater!'

The human then dropped me into a seperate room and said "Chanterelle, since you aren't hungry yet I'll just let you cool off in here so you don't attack the others, there are toys if you get bored and I'm leaving a snack in here, bye" she then shook her hands sidewards over and over again before she left out the door

'Finally, now I can go get some real food for myself' and so I started shooting some acid at the wall infront of me, after awhile the acid melted the wall and made a hole big enough for me to hop through but I was met with another delema, we were on the 4th floor and so It was too high for me to jump from without breaking my shell or legs.

I looked over to see something what could break my fall and I saw that there were curtains, 'I could probably grab these curtains and use it as a parachute to land, I'm probably light enough anyways'

So I ripped off the majority of the curtain from the window, then I used my mouth to move the ends of the curtain and tie it up and then I bit as hard as I could onto the knot and jumped through the hole in the wall, I the Curtain managed to hold me by the time I got to the second floor but the wind had suddenly started to increase its intensity and I had started gliding me into a random direction

Good news, It landed in a forest which is where I wanted to go. Bad news, I closed my eyes on the way here so I don't know how to get back to the Human's den, not like I liked that place all too much but I was able to sneak free berries from the kitchen so I guess I can do that anymore

I was wandering around for awhile, looking for berries or prey, when I eventually found some Exeggcute, 'Perfect a, 123456, 1 for 6 deal'

And so I jumped on one, unfortunately, the rest of the Exeggcute had shot me with a bunch of Bullet Seeds, the seeds didn't hurt me but they distracted me enough for the one I jumped on to escape

I immediately chased after the rest of them, I was faster than the Exeggcute but the Exeggcute knew the terrain better than me and so they must have intentionally went down a cliff

The oval bodies of the would Exeggcute make them really hard to keep up with since they were rolling faster than I could run and so I ripped off some bark from a tree and rode on it as I made my way down the cliff.

The was bark slowly breaking away longer it came into contact with the cliff's surface and there were tons of rocks that I had to avoid but I slowly caught up more and more with the Exeggcute, but, by the time I had finally managed to get into grabbing zone, the Cliff ended and the land near it was more like a massive ramp and I was on path to jump over that ramp.

One moment, I was readying a strike to jump on a Exeggcute and the next, I was in the air and crashed into the ocean.

When I resurfaced out the water, I had saw that my prey were being eaten by a Palossand. 'How dare he!'

"Hey Bucko, that's my prey you're eating, you tryna replace 'em." I yelled at him

The thief with the most condescending tone possible, responded with "Listen Pipsqueak, I'm feeling generous because I just had a nice meal, so scram and maybe I won't turn you into tommorow morning's breakfast"

This guy was starting to piss me off and so I yelled at him "I don't care if you think you're stronger than me!, when I'm done with you'll be properly exorcised!"

I guess my yell was too loud because I saw the gluttonous bear jump infront of me and the Palossand and say "Sorry for any promblems my friend caused"

'Idiot, that not gonna w-' but to my surprise, the Palossand had actually backed off.

"Since when were we friends?" I said

'Did he really have to lie to get that sandy bastard to leave?'

Durian only said "Oh, well I just thought that we should try to get along, after all, we have the same master"

I just told the brat "Listen, that Human can be your 'master' but she ain't mine, capiche?" and gave him a nasty glare before I turned around and started wandering around.

'Maybe I should bully some Caterpie into giving me their berries, they always do have the largest suppli-' but I stopped my thinking immediately as I heard a twig snap and a instantly turned around to see that the Munchlax had been following me this entire time.

"Durian, ya too slow and too dumb to be ignored, Now Scram"

"I can't do that, Chanterelle, you could get hurt and its about to rain soon so I've gotta take you home"

It was at this point that I was getting a little irritated, then my body started to move on its own and… I shot the Munchlax with a Sludge bomb, it also managed to poison him and throw him into a boulder.

"GO AWAY, NOW!" I screamed, the Munchlax had started running away and finally left

Then I said with a loud voice "Yah that's right leave!"

"leave" I mumbled

'There's no point in-' I was ripped out of my thinking my the sudden clap of thunder 'Okay I gotta go get some shelter, but not at the Human's cave, the Human definitely won't forgive me for attacking the Munchlax'

I started looking around for awhile, I still got caught in the rain but I did find a spot under some cliff ledge and it was there that I started resting and thinking.

'The human is gonna stop providing for me since I hurt her subject or worse, I'm gonna need a plan, I haven't eaten since morning and I've never hunted on my own, I should gather berries in the morning so can get my energy back, for now I should sleep to get some energy back'

I layed down and I closed my eyes but then I saw him, "Durian?" I mumbled, 'What the hell is he doing here?, does he have any self preservation instincts or any sense at all, or does he want revenge?'

But my revenge idea was quickly forgotten as I got a better look at the Munchlax, He was soaking wet from the heavy rain, despite that, he had a massive smile on his stupid face and he was dragging a massive piece of bark, the bark had tons of Pecha and Sitrus berries and some Oran berries on top of it

Durian then walked up infront of me and said "Hey Chanterelle, got some Pecha and Sitrus berries that we can share. Turns out, Sitrus berries are kinda hard to track, so I got alittle lost, but, I managed to find some of the berries with my nose"

I couldn't help but stare at Munchlax, probably with an astonished look on my face and I just blurted out what I was wondering "Why are you here?, are you trying to give me poisoned food? You know that there aren't many plants that can harm poison types, right"

Durian only manage to stutter out "I-I know that"

"Then why are you here" I questioned, afterall there isn't any reason for him to look for me unless it was for revenge

At this point, the Munchlax's ears started dropping down, "Ah, w-well, I just thought that you might be hungry because I haven't seen you eat anything since breakfast"

'Now I know he's lying' and confronted him on my suspicions "And why should I belive that you're concerned about me after I attacked you, theres no reason to forgive me"

"I-I don't get it, why shouIdn't I forgive you?"

"Because I attacked you!"

"Why can't I help and forgive those who attack me?"

"Because! You didn't do anything that justified me harming you"

"But I was irritating you? So I'll try not to talk"

"But you shouldn't-" At this point, I was starting to get rilled up and I was afraid that I might uncontrollably attack Durian again so I gave up and just said "-never mind just sit, I don't want you coughing on me because you got sick"

"I can't get colds"

This damn, "Good for you, Durian"

Me and Munchlax had started eating, we didn't talk and so the only sound in the area was the russleling of leaves and soft chewing by me and Munchlax

Then, Munchlax had finished his food and spoke "Hey Chanterelle, why did you attack me if you thought you weren't justified?"

"Why do you keep asking me stupid questions"

Munchlax didn't seem fazed by this and answered "I just think that its nice to talk things out. And… you seemed uncomfortable when you attacked me"

'This whole conversation is uncomfortable, if I tell this idiot he'll probably go away so I might aswell tell him so he can go' so I looked directly toward Durian and said "If I tell you this, will you finally go away?"

Munchlax just said "Maybe, maybe not, I just wanna know why you attacked me, Chanterelle" and gave me an encouraging smile

I sighed out loud, 'Let's just get this over with' and I said "Whenever I feel the slightest amount of anger or fear or whatever, I get this burst of energy and whenever I get that burst of energy I can't stop myself from attempting to attack someone and sometimes I get a burst of energy even if I don't feel angry so I tend to get rid of the energy by attacking others random, its just so uncomfortable to keep that energy stored up. So now you know, I'm a dangerous and unstable mess so you ca-"

But to my surprise, Munchlax hadn't left or even looked scared, instead he just looked at me with, pity?, no not pity, he didn't look like he just felt sorry, he looked determined to do something.

Durian then said "Chanterelle, can I ask you something?"

I nodded my head and he continued "Do you like fighting, getting rid of the insinct and energy or both?"

"I-I don't know, I don't think I like getting injured, but I do like getting rid of the insinct and energy, but, I don't know if I hate or like fighting"

This was getting to tense for me and I was starting to tear up from the nervousness so I just blurted out "Sorry for the poor answer" so I wouldn't have to talk anymore

Munchlax then hugged me and he said "Don't be, It was the perfect answer, so can you tell me when you do know, Chanterelle?"

I was stunned to silence and so I just nodded my head in agreement.

"Great~" Munchlax said and let go of me, I felt a little sad about Durian ending our hug 'b-because of his body heat nothing else and plus even If Munchlax said he just wants be friends, what he really is here for is to get me to return to the Human den'

'Might aswell let him complete his goals' and so I turned to Munchlax and said "Let's go, I'm getting tired of this gloomy scenery"

"Hmm? Where are we going?"

"Where else? Back to the human, the beds much comfier than wet grass anyways"

"Yah~ Oh wait you were in your Pokéball when me and Katarina started farming weren't you?, let me explain what happened!"

And Munchlax had decided to start giving me a stupid summary of what happed with Carkol and Geordo as we walked back to the Human's Den

Eventually, me and Munchlax had went back into the Human Den and after waiting for over three hours until finally the Human and Onion had entered the room we were in.

The Human had sticks and leaves in her hair and the hair itself was standing up as if she went toe to toe with some electricity, there was dirt all over her clothes and parts of the clothes looked to have been burned and ripped off with cuts all over the dress and the Human had tears in her eyes and looked like she was about to cry.

"Why is the Human crying" I said to no one in particular

Munchlax decided to be become 'no one in particular' as he replied "Katarina cares about you a lot, she cares about us all so of course she was worried"

Katarina finally looked over and noticed me and Durian, probably because we were talking, and as soon as she did, she went into a weird crouching position and screamed "I'M SO SORRY~" with the tears in her eyes fully flowing

Katarina then meekly said "will you forgive, Chanterelle?"

'Ugh, fine' and so I nodded my head in agreement since I humans don't understand Pokénese

Katarina looked at me said "Thank you~" and then moved her hands to my sides

'An attack!' and I started getting into a defensive position and ready to bite Katarina, but then I remembered what Durian just said, Katarina cares about you a lot, 'FINE! I won't attack her' and I closed my eyes to brace for an attack, but the attack never happened, Katarina just gently picked me up and told me "Wow, you're freezing. Let's get you to the fire place and go to bed, alright?"

Well I am cold "Sure, why not"
