"Oh…" Juvia hide behind a support beam while eying Gray who was sitting at a table, chatting it up with Diamond and Spade. The ex-members of Dealer were allowed to stay in Fairy Tail temporarily until they figured out what they were going to do next. But right now, that wasn't any of Juvia's concerns. It was Valentine's Day, and the one thing she wanted the most was to spend time with Gray, yet she was too nervous to even figure out how to go about doing so. "Gray-sama will be Juvia's today…but how…"
"Uh…" Lucy gently tapped Juvia on the shoulder. "Juvia, are you feeling alright…?"
"Gack! Juvia quickly turned, only to see Lucy and Tia. "Oh…it's just you two."
"Just us two?" Tia rose a brow, hearing the disappointment in Juvia's voice.
"You seem more…fidgety than usual today, Juvia…" Lucy pointed out while eying Juvia suspiciously. "Are you alr.."
Before Lucy could even finish, Juvia snapped in a comical manner towards the blonde, as per usual. "Juvia is fine! Juvia won't allow her love rival to steal Gray-sama away from her on Valentine's Day! Juvia will drown love rival if she even thinks about it!"
"W-What….!?" Lucy backed away, terrified of Juvia's sudden exclamation.
"Oh dear…" Tia merely blinked a few times, ignoring the suggestive stare Juvia was giving her. "Ew…don't even think about clumping me together with that stripper. I was never into these holidays anyway…"
"Hmph!" Juvia huffed, crossing her arms while turning back around to stare at Gray, but he was already gone. "N-No…!"
"Oh, relax…" Tia sighed, waving a flier in her hand. "They've been posting these things around town since last week…"
"What is it…?" Juvia turned around while letting out a heavy sigh.
"I'm surprised you haven't seen it. It's a flier for a couples challenge for today!" Lucy explained with a nod. "The top prize is supposed to be something the winning couple can enjoy together! Sign-ups don't start until later today, though."
"That explains why Juvia heard talk about a challenge around the guild…" Suddenly, the idea clicked in Juvia's head. "I must find Gray-sama!" And with that, the love crazed water mage was gone.
"And let me guess, you'll be tagging along with Natsu?" Tia asked in a slightly suggestive tone, though her expression was emotionless.
"If he wants to!" Lucy replied. She knew exactly what Tia was implying and refused to let it get to her. "I mean, we are partners…!"
"Mhmmmm…" Tia merely gave a nod and a shrug. "Whatever you say…" She then began to walk off, leaving Lucy with a confused expression.
"…I hate how cryptic you are sometimes…" Lucy stuck her tongue out as Tia walked away, letting out a small huff after.

"My, my…seems like things are buzzing around a bit about the little gathering later today…" Mirajane commented while cleaning out a mug, the usual smile on her face.
"I'm totally not into this kinda stuff…" Gajeel huffed while nomming on some iron.
"Same…" Jack replied with a grunt of disinterest. "Girls have cooties anyway…"
"You still believe in that stuff?" Gajeel raised a brow towards Jack before letting out mocking laugh. "What are you, eight?!"
"I'm fourteen you ass!" Jack snapped at Gajeel.
"Now, now…." Mirajane said in a calming tone, trying to suppress the tension between the two. "Come on, are you sure you don't want to give it a try? I'm sure Wendy or Cynthia would like to give you a chance."
"You're joking, right…?" Jack gave Mira the "really?" expression before letting out a heavy sigh. Tia wasn't around to bail him out of this one, so he had to give it a shot. Something about Mira just made it near impossible for him to actually say no. "Fine…fine…whatever…" Jack looked around the busy guild hall for the two girls. He saw Romeo and Cynthia arguing. In fact just about everyone saw that.
"I should be her partner because I'M her best friend!" Cynthia snarled towards Romeo in a comical fashion. "It only makes sense! We're partners!"
"Since when did you get to make that choice!?" Romeo asked. "And what does that last part even mean!?"
"Did Macao put you up to this!?" Cynthia inquired while scanning the hall until she found Macao, who quickly glanced away as if he had nothing to do with the matter. "Aha! I knew it!"
"H-Hey, I didn't do anything!" Macao said quickly.
"I don't suppose this will end any time soon, will it..?" Wendy asked Carla while watching the two quarrel.
"Doesn't look like it." Carla replied with a subtle shrug. It was around then that Jack walked up, having a business-like expression on his face.
"Since your friend over there is busy arguing with the other short stack…" Jack began while somehow managing to make this as unawkward as possible. "How about you and I be partners for that little thing happening later today? ….Mirajane made me do it." He quickly added.
"E-Eh…?" Wendy blinked a few times, surprised that Jack of all people was the one to ask. She glanced to Cynthia and Romeo, who were still arguing over who was to be Wendy's partner. Obviously, Wendy had a choice in mind, but she couldn't even get a word in edgewise... "I guess it wouldn't hurt. Those two haven't been getting along much lately…"
"Yeah…I really don't care too much about that." Jack said with a shrug.
"Wait, what?!" Cynthia rushed over to Jack and Wendy, crossing her arms with a large huff. "You're teaming up with Jack!?"
"What?!" Romeo's eyes widened.
"You two need to stop fighting." Wendy replied while tapping her foot.
"She's right, it's gotten really annoying lately," Carla chimed in.
"So, you two should be partners for today!" And there was Wendy's usually sweet smile. This had to be a painful lesson for Cynthia. Of course, Wendy wanted to spend the day with her, but...this couldn't stand either.
"…Ugh." Cynthia groaned before dropping her head in a depressed fashion. "Fine…fine…"
Wendy then placed a hand on Cynthia's shoulder. "And after that, if you want to do something...I...would like that..."
Cynthia suddenly perked up. Play nice with Romeo and get her day with Wendy? "Well...I can manage that, I guess..."
"But you have to try your best!" Wendy added, cheeks puffed out.
"Fine..." Cynthia rolled her eyes. If Romeo wasn't being annoying about this, she would be with Wendy! But now everything is all mixed up. She wanted to grumble about it, but...she would hold her tongue for now.
And meanwhile…
"I should be Levy's partner!" Jet got in Droy's face.
"No, it should be me!" Droy replied.
"E-Etto…" Levy had a nervous sweat drop on her head. "This competition is already getting people riled up and it hasn't even started yet…" She then looked around, noticing the now lone Gajeel. She decided to leave her two team mates to themselves and went to Gajeel. "Uhm…Gajeel?"
"What is it, Shrimp?" Gajeel asked with a curious brow raised, gnawing on some nails now. Gajeel was too oblivious…or perhaps just plain stupid to realize what was coming next.

Magnolia Square was filled couples for the competition. The couples competing were: Natsu and Lucy, Gajeel and Levy, Gray and Juvia, Romeo and Cynthia, Wendy and Jack, Cygnus and Ola, Leon and Aira, Selene and Takeru, Mirajane and Laxus, Chelia and Raven, Sheri and Ren, Jenny and Hibiki, Bisca and Alzack, Sting and Yukino, and lastly Cana and Bacchus. Chapati Lola was in charge of hosting the event and Sorcerer's Weekly's Jason was there to cover the entire event, planning to post an article about it within the next few days. There were stands so the audience could sit and watch this competition go on. "I see we have all contestants lined up!"
"It's a little weird to see a guild master compete…" Luke said to Tristan.
"Well…" Tristan said with a slightly nervous laugh. "Master Ola is rather competitive…Too competitive sometimes."
"And I guess she likes Cyg enough to draft him as her partner…" Luke said with a small shrug. "I do hope Calium will be alright without Aira today, though. He said it was fine, but…"
"Wait…what's Jack doing in this thing…?" Tia asked with a slightly surprised look on her face. "He's not supposed to be into girls yet!"
"That's probably Mira-nee's doing…" Lisanna replied to Tia with a nervous laugh. "I honestly don't see this going too well…Ahah…."
"Alright, ladies and gentlemen!" Chapati exclaimed, catching everyone's attention. "Welcome to the first ever Valentine's Day competition! I hope you couples brought your A game today, because you're going to need it for this! It's very simple! There will be three parts to this competition! The couple who fails to meet the criteria for each part will be eliminated!"
"Can we use the word team? Please?" Cynthia pleaded, absolutely disliking the idea of her and Romeo being referred to as a couple. She was only doing this for Wendy...
"And I bet you're all wondering what the prize is!" Chapati said while completely ignoring Cynthia for now. "It'll be revealed at the very end to the winner's, but it's something the couple can do together!"
"Or just ignore me…" Cynthia said with a small sigh.
"Something the couple can do together?!" Juvia repeated with sparkles in her eyes. She already began to fantasize about what it was that she and Gray could be doing.
"I still don't know how you managed to drag me into this…" Gray said with a sigh, rubbing the back of his head.
"We got this!" Natsu said while pounding his fist into an open palm. "We aren't gonna lose to you guys! Hit us up with that first event!"
"I was getting to that!" Chapati replied to Natsu before reading from a flash card. "The first event is a scavenger hunt! There are various Valentine's Day items hidden around town, but there are only a few! The first few couples to grab these items will move onto the next event! I'll let everyone know when the last item has been found. And remember, all is fair in love and war! Ready? Go!"
"Wait, we're going now…!?" Lucy was completely unprepared and expected a countdown, but Natsu was already on the move, dragging Lucy along by her wrist. "WAAAH!?"
"Come on, Lucy! We can't lose to Gray or Gajeel!" Natsu exclaimed while dragging Lucy along in a comical manner. He turned the corner, and the two were gone.
"We can't lose to them!" Sting told Yukino with a determined tone.
"Right…!" Yukino nodded, and quickly ran off with Sting. The other teams broke off and began their search around town. The competition had officially begun!

"Wait, so what are we looking for exactly?" Leon asked while walking aimlessly around the two. Aira had to keep him from straying too far every so often; the acid slayer had the habit of getting lost easily from time to time.
"Items like…heart boxes and teddy bears!" Aira cheerfully exclaimed. "They're hidden all around town, and I don't think the stores are selling anything so just buying them won't cut it!"
"Ah, I got it!" Leon nodded with a look of determination on his face. "Come on, Aira! We can't lose!" He then began to run off ahead, but came to an abrupt halt. "Wait…"
"Huh..?" Aira blinked a few times, looking around to see why Leon stopped.
"Up there!" Leon pointed to the roofs.
Gajeel was hopping from roof to roof with Levy in one arm, and a heart shaped box in the other. "Gihehe! Thanks for the box, kids!"
"H-Hey!" Chelia huffed while giving chase to the pair. "That's not fair! We found it first!"
"All's fair in love in war, kid!" Gajeel replied with a wide grin. He was clearly having too much fun with this for all the wrong reasons.
"But…!" Chelia tried to object, but she didn't quite have a way to.
"Ah, they're getting away…!" Raven came to a stop, letting out a heavy sigh as Gajeel and Levy were getting away.
"Put me down, Gajeel!" Levy insisted with minor flailing. "You know I can walk, right!?"
"Eh, what did I tell ya before, Shrimp? You're better off staying right beside me, you might trip or something," Gajeel replied casually, causing Levy to huff out.
"You're hopeless…" Levy finally conceded.
"Well then…" Aira watched with a sweat drop on her forehead, a nervous laugh coming from her. "At least we don't have to worry about those two..?"

Natsu and Sting were butting heads, both using all their might to pull a box of chocolates from each other's hands. Lucy was supporting Natsu in tugging while Yukino did the same for Sting. "I found it first!" Natsu shouted to Sting in a comical manner.
"No! We found it first!" Sting replied. "Then you just appeared and tried to swipe it from us! Go find your own!"
"Y-Yeah…!" Yukino backed Sting.
"Like hell!" Natsu replied with the fire in his eyes, cheeks beginning to puff out. "Fire Dragon's…!"
"Natsu, wait!" Lucy shouted, trying desperately to stop Natsu, but there was no stopping him now.
"Oh, that's how it is!?" Sting grinned as his own cheeks began to puff out. "White Dragon's…!"
"Sting-sama, wait no!" Yukino pleaded, but it was too late.
"Roar!" The two slayers unleashed their roars at the same time, and since they were so close together in resulted in a small explosion that blew both parties back.
"Ugh…" Sting groaned while rubbing his head. He spotted the box an equal distance away from him and Natsu. "You're not gonna get it!"
"No, you aren't gonna get it!" Natsu and Sting made a lung, but the box lifted off the ground, causing the pair to slam into each other. "Gah…!"
"Ouch…!" Sting groaned. "What happened!?"
"We'll be taking that." Cygnus said as the box gravitated towards his hand. "Not bad Ola, I didn't think anyone would be around here."
(What can I say, I have a knack for these things.) Ola merely smiled to herself before nodding to Cyg and running off with him.
Natsu and Sting looked at each other for a brief second before shouting in unison. "This isn't over!"
"I think they've forgotten what this was about for the most part…" Lucy said with a small sigh.
"Sting-sama does get really competitive sometimes…" Yukino responded with a nervous laugh.

"Geez…how did I get dragged into this again…?" Jack just walked with his head slumped over.
"Oh…it'll be fun!" Wendy tried to encourage Jack to get into the spirit of things, but he really wasn't feeling it.
"Well, as long as we win it won't be a complete waste of time," Jack admitted before lifting his head up. "Hm…" He walked over to a corner, picking up a card. "This looks…romantic, right? I guess we can use that."
"Hai!" Wendy clasped her hands together. "Let's hurry back before we get ambushed…! I've seen that happen a lot today…"
"People are getting ambushed and I'm not the one doing it!?" Jack spoke with disbelief, a heavy sigh now escaping him. How was he missing all the fun stuff?! "Darn…I'm starting to dislike being a good guy…"
"That's…not exactly the reaction I thought you'd have…" Wendy sheepishly poked her fingers together, deciding not to say anything else on the matter.

"Hand it over…!" Hibiki flailed while trying to reach the item Laxus had in his hand. While the archive mage was merely struggling to push himself against Laxus' large hand on his head, the bulky male just let out a yawn.
"Maybe when you put on a little muscle," Was Laxus' bored reply.
Meanwhile, Mirajane was giving Jenny the sweetest smile possible. "My, Jenny! It's good to see you again! I saw those pictures of you in the issue a while ago…"
Jenny's face was beat red, from both embarrassment and anger. "B-Be quiet…!" She huffed, crossing her arms as Mirajane's smile just pushed every single button within her. Admittedly, there wasn't much Jenny and Hibiki could actually do against Mirajane and Laxus.
Mirajane noticed this, and kept her sweet smile, though there was a little bit of taunting in her voice now. "Guess that makes the score me: 2, you: 0?"
"GAAAH!" Jenny pulled on her own hair; the stress was a little too much for her at the moment.

"How did I let you drag me into this…?" Gray asked Juvia as she clung to his arm, hearts emitting from her person. Of course, Juvia didn't answer she just cooed while hugging Gray's arm tighter. "And she's not listening…" Gray let out a soft groan.
"Juvia and Gray-sama's love will prevail over all in this competition!" Juvia exclaimed with determination.
"I…" Gray just stopped. He didn't know how to respond; he then turned his head, noticing something shiny off in the distance. "Oh hey, what's that…?"

"And that's time! All the current items have been collected!" Chapati exclaimed, waiting for the competitors to return with the items. The couples who returned with items were: Natsu and Lucy, Leon and Aira, Gray and Juvia, Gajeel and Levy, Laxus and Mirajane, Selene and Takeru, Cygnus and Ola, Alzack and Bisca, Wendy and Jack, and lastly Cynthia and Romeo (somehow). "It looks like these ten couples will be making it to the next round!"
"…How did JACK get into the next round?" Strong spoke with disbelief.
"Beats me…" Tia replied with a shrug.
"Mama and Papa are gonna win!" Asuka exclaimed, having complete faith in her parents.
"I bet on the team with anyone who's in White Eclipse," Luke replied to Asuka with a chuckle.
"Do you enjoy crushing the hopes of small children!?" Elfman questioned while getting in Luke's face. "Because that's not manly!"
"But I just-" Luke replied before just shutting up. "Oh, whatever…"
"Hmph…" Chelia just huffed and crossed her arms. She was feeling a little salty that she and Raven lost in the first round the way they did.
"The second part will begin in just a few minutes! I just need one person from each team to come over here for a moment!"

"Now, it's time for the second part of this competition!" Chapati pointed to the ten booths lined up; each couple took a booth and awaited further instruction. "This is the questionnaire part! I'll one person from the team what the other wrote down. There are three questions, and if two of them are answered incorrectly, that team is out! This is a challenge based on how well you know your partner!"
"Oh…" Was the only thing he had to say.
"This should be interesting…" Selene said while glancing over at Takeru.
"I know you like the back of my hand!" Takeru stated confidently before looking at the back of his hand. "Oh, hey, that's new…"
"First question!" Chapati read from the flash card. "Without looking at your partner, tell me what color eyes they have!" The announcer then turned to Jack and Wendy, and it was Jack who had to answer this.
"W-What?!" Jack's eyes widened at the question. "Are you for real!?"
"He's dead in the water…" Tia said while shaking her head.
"Uhm…I don't know…Brown…?" Jack just threw a color out there, but the 'ding' sound right after his answer told him he was right.
"Correct…!" Chapati confirmed.
"What….?" Tia was very surprised. "I'm not sure what's more surprising…the fact he guessed and got it right…or the fact he got it right."
"Oh, I know this one!" Leon was feeling pretty excited about this; he was like a student who knew the right answer and practically bounced out of his seat. "Aira has emerald eyes! I remember because they're really pretty!"
"Oh, how sweet…" Aira said with a soft smile.
Now it was Romeo's turn. "Uhm…Blue?"
"Wrong…!" Chapati said. "That's one strike for you two!"
"What!?" Romeo turned, glancing at Cynthia's eyes. "They are blue!"
"SKY Blue!" Cynthia replied with a huff. "Specifics matter!"
"How did they make it this far…?" Natsu asked while holding back his laughter from the pair's quarreling.
"Beats me…" Lucy replied with a shrug.
"Oh my…" Mirajane merely gave a nervous smile at Cynthia and Romeo's arguing. "I can't help but feel partially responsible for this…"
"They'll figure it out, or not…" Laxus merely replied.
"They are still kids, after all." Alzack said with a chuckle. "They'll learn to get along eventually."
"I just don't think any time soon is appropriate…" Bisca commented with a giggle.
{Some time later…}
"Onto the last question!" Chapati approached Gray and Juvia. "Gray, this last one is for you; what is the most romantic place you'd take Juvia? …It reads exactly like that."
"What…?" Gray glanced at Juvia, who was staring intently at Gray. Clearly she was trying to set herself up here. Gray thought for a few moments before shrugging. "I dunno, the beach or something. I know she likes water…" And there was the buzzer saying he was wrong. "No?"
"Incorrect! But, it's time to tally up the scores to see who moves on!" Chapati then moved to the center of the square. "The couples who had a perfect score are: Alzack and Bisca, Aira and Leon, and Takeru and Selene!"
"They really do know each other, that's true love!" Chelia exclaimed with a wide grin. It looked like she was over losing so early.
"The teams following with one wrong are: Natsu and Lucy, Sting and Yukino, Jack and Wendy, Mirajane and Laxus, and last but not least, Gray and Juvia! That means we have eight couples going into the final round!"
"I can't believe you got all the questions wrong!" Cynthia huffed at Romeo before storming off.
"You made hard questions!" Was Romeo's response.
(We lost…darn it…) Ola thought with a frustrated huff coming from her.
"Aheh…sorry?" Cygnus tried to apologize.
(It's fine, we did our best, I guess…I really wanted to win…) Ola put on a smile, however.
"How…did Jack make it all the way to the end?" Tia was completely befuddled that her younger brother managed to make it this far into this particular competition.
"Beats me…" Diamond replied with a shrug.

"Now, it's time for the final part of this competition!" Chapati made sure to clear out space for this final event. "The unison raid competition! Each couple will show us one unison raid, and the one that is the best will be the winner!"
"Oh, great, as if this couldn't get any more stupid…" Jack said while rolling his eyes.
"Aheh…" Wendy could only nervously laugh at this point.
"First up, Natsu and Lucy!"
"Oh yeah! I'm fired up!" Natsu grinned while stepping into the middle of the square with Lucy. "Hey, I just got a really good idea!"
"Dare I ask?" Lucy sighed while figuring out what key she should pull out.
"Just watch!" Natsu inhaled before throwing his head forward, unleashing a Fire Dragon's Roar towards her.
"W-Wait!" Lucy flailed her hands with widened eyes. She shifted her body to the side, but the flame caught her skirt. "G-Gah!" She began to comically run around before falling right into the canal, steam flowing from the water.
"That wasn't what I had planned…" Natsu said with a small frown while rubbing his head.
"Oh boy…" Luke sighed and hopped off his seat. "I got it…" He then went over to pull Lucy out of the water, shaking his head. "Aye…"
"…So they're out." Alzack said with a laugh. "Why don't we go up next?"
"Mhm!" Bisca nodded in agreement and took center stage with her husband.
"Go Mama! Go Papa!" Asuka cheered from the sidelines.
"And the married couple goes for it!"
Alzack and Bisca stood back to back, both holding two pistols in their hands. "Are you ready?" Alzack asked.
"Of course!" Bisca nodded. The married couple then aimed their pistols down at the ground, and began unleashing a large plethora of bullets, spinning around while doing so. The result was a golden field of sparks around the two, captivating some of the audience. "Bullet Fiesta!"
"PFFFT…" Reve had to keep himself from laughing at what he saw to be a very subpar display of gunmanship.
"Play nice, Reve!" Aira shot Reve a glare from across the square.
"Jack and Wendy!"
"I have no idea how this is going to go…" Jack said before switching to his Corvus Armor, rearing his hand back to gather Wicked Flames. "Okay…go!" He threw his hand forward, releasing multiple flames into the air.
"Sky Dragon's Roar!" Wendy pointed her head to the sky and unleashed her signature roar. Unfortunately the roar actually consumed the Wicked Flames and just fizzed them out into harmless embers. "E-Eh…"
"Yeah, I expected as much…" Jack said with a shrug.
"Selene and Takeru!"
"Ready?" Takeru asked while holding on of Selene's hands, the other wrapped around her waist.
"Ready!" Selene nodded. A purple and sliver aura began to appear around the two, and within a second, purple diamonds shot up from around them. The interesting coloration is what caught everyone's eye. "And then…!" The diamond's shattered, falling as purple sparkles that rained down for a few moments.
"Heh, not bad, right?" Takeru said with a cocky grin while taking a bow with Selene.
"Sting and Yukino!"
"Gate of the Heavenly Scales, I open thee! Libra!" Yukino held her golden key forward, calling out the spirit Libra. "Are you ready, Sting-sama?"
"Oh yeah!" Sting nodded, cupping his hands together. "White Dragon's Holy Ray!" Sting then threw his hands forward, aiming multiple beams of light into the air.
"Libra!" Yukino called out, and Libra did as she was told. The spirit changed the gravity around the beams to collide into each other, creating white light that slowly rained down from above.
"So pretty…" Cynthia admitted while placing her hands together.
"Leon and Aira!"
"Uh…Are you sure about this, Leon…?" Aira asked.
"Of course I'm sure!" Leon nodded. "Now, hit me with it…"
"O-Okay…" Aira nodded, and then spun her finger around; creating a Black Hurricane that appeared around Leon.
"What's he planning now…?" Tristan thought to himself; he knew Leon was a bit on the daring side.
Leon spun around within the Black Hurricane, acid forming around him. "Acid Dragon's Swirling Corrosion!" Leon began to match the speed of the hurricane, the acid soon seeping through the outside. With one final push, the hurricane dispersed into green and black wind which faded away gently. "Ah ha! See, it worked!"
"Not bad…" Cygnus said with an approving nod.
(That's Leon for you.) Ola thought with a proud nod.
"Now, Mirajane and Laxus!"
"Let's get this over with…" Laxus had a smug grin on him, feeling confident he and Mirajane could win this.
"You got this, Laxus!" The Raijinshu exclaimed from the stands!
"Shall we?" Mirajane asked Laxus while entering her Satan Soul form.
"After you," Laxus said with a nod.
"How gentlemanly of you…" Mirajane giggled before forming a sphere of darkness magic in her hand, which she threw towards Laxus.
Laxus allowed lightning to spark around his dominate arm. As the sphere drew near, he threw his arm forward and collided with the sphere. It looked like a power struggle for a second, but then Laxus sent the sphere hurtling into the air, where it exploded into fireworks. "Heh."
"Now that's really impressive! It's so COOOOL!" Jason began to wiggle in a strange motion while rolling the O in the way that was impossible for anyone else to.
"And lastly, Gray and Juvia!"
"Alright…" Gray said while stretching out, his shirt magically coming off. "You ready, Juvia?"
"Always!" Juvia replied while fawning over Gray's shirtless chest.
"She's gonna faint before they can actually do anything…" Lucy said with a small snicker.
Gray took Juvia's hand, pulling it back as a blue magic seal appeared under them. "Here goes nothing!" They then threw their arms forward, creating a large heart in the sky with ice and water. The heart then shattered, turning into a soft glitter of sparkles.
"Amazing!" Chapati grinned.
"SOOO COOOOOOL!" Jason grinned.

After some time, the results to the event were finally ready. "Alright, everyone! I finally have our results! The winners of the Valentine's day competition are…Gray and Juvia!" There was some applause for the winners. "And, their prize?" Chapati pulled out two tickets and handed it to Gray. "Two tickets to a resort in Crocus, just for them!"
"Just for us!?" Juvia's eyes lit up with excitement as all kinds of ideas came into mind. "Yes, yes, and yes!"
"Eh…" Gray shrugged, handing a ticket off to someone else.
"W-What are you doing!?" Juvia asked with comically distraught eyes.
"I'm sure someone else wants to go. I still have some training to do and whatnot." Gray then flashed Juvia a small smile. "But hey, we won, so good job, Juvia. We do make a pretty good team at times, don't we?" And with that he began to walk away.
"N-Nooooo….!" Juvia slumped down, tears flowing down her face. It would've been sad if it didn't look so funny.
"I think a part of her soul just got crushed…" Lisanna said with a nervous smile.
"Gray can't take a hint, can he?" Cygnus said while shaking his head.
"This sucked..." Cynthia was sulking in a corner. Wendy soon approached and took a seat next to her, handing her a heart shaped box. "Eh?"
"Sorry the day didn't go the way we were hoping..." Wendy said with a soft smile. "But I hope this can make up for it a little bit."
Cynthia took the box and opened it. There were some heart shaped candies within it. Cynthia's sour mood faded instantly. "Wendy...! Ah, we still have time in the day. So...maybe...?"
Wendy leaned in, giving Cynthia a kiss to the cheek. "Yes. I'd love to spend the rest of the day with you."
Cynthia's expression brightened. "Yes! Today was totally worth it now!" She sprang up, taking Wendy by the hand. "Let's go, let's go!"
"Awww..." Chelia clasped her hands together, watching Cynthia and Wendy. "I'm glad those two are getting a happy ending today, at least."

Lucy: "You know I could use a little R&R! I heard they rebuilt that park in Crocus!"
Natsu: "Oh yeah, that was great last time we went!"
Levy: "Until you destroyed it all somehow…"
Natsu: "It won't happen again, I swear! Come on; let's go before it gets crowded!"
