*UNSC McArthur*

*Near Earth Orbit, May 6, 2552*

"Vice Admiral Christian, the UNSC Resist and Bite and Izumi are within formation," reported the officer to the Vice Admiral.

"Fantastic. Send orders to all ships to prepare for atmospheric re-entry," Vice Admiral Christian commanded. The officer swiftly relayed the orders, coordinating with both the UNSC Resist and Bite and the Izumi.

"Ensign! Order all crews to prepare for atmospheric re-entry. All crews to stations!" the Captain shouted, and the crews of the UNSC McArthur secured themselves.

"Vice Admiral, the UN 3rd Hsst Fleet has arrived to begin our descent towards Yokohama," announced one of the ensigns.

"Establish contact with the lead ship, Ensign!" the Vice Admiral ordered.

"Sir, establishing contact!" the ensign replied.

"Contact established with the lead Hsst Neustrashimyy," soon echoed through the bridge.

Dot, Dot, Dot. "This is the Captain of the Hsst Neustrashimyy. Do you read us, UNSC McArthur?" crackled over the comms as the Hsst Squadron approached the three UNSC ships.

"We copy you loud and clear, Captain. This is Vice Admiral Vincent Christian of the UNSC McArthur."

"Understood, Vice Admiral Christian. We shall escort your formation until we arrive near Japanese airspace," responded the Captain of the Hsst Neustrashimyy as they formed up alongside the UNSC ships.

The crew of the Hsst Neustrashimyy peered outwards, seeing a squadron of UNSC Combat Air Patrol nearing them. The sheer size of the UNSC multi-role aircraft, comparable to their own, was a shocking sight.

"This is the Captain of the UNSC McArthur to the 3rd UN Aerospace Force Fleet. Prepare for atmospheric re-entry. Over and out."

The ships began to rumble as they entered Earth's orbit, soon transitioning into the atmosphere. The crews within the UNSC ships held tight as they breached the atmospheric barrier. Once stabilized, the titanium battle plates withdrew, allowing the bridge crew to gaze out at the stunning view of the white cloudy sky and the vast Pacific Ocean below.

"Goddamn," murmured the captain, echoed by the agreement of many. "So this is Earth back during the 21st century," one of the bridge crew remarked.

"Ladies and gentlemen, if I might interrupt, I believe it is best we start moving. You can admire the view later," the Vice Admiral's voice broke the captivated silence, snapping the crew back to their duties.

The fleet of Hsst ships struggled to keep up with the UNSC vessels. "Helm, reduce speed to let the Hsst catch up until we arrive at Japanese airspace, and order our other escorts to do the same," the captain ordered.

"Understood, sir! Reducing speed, Captain," the ensign replied.

Another ensign confirmed, "Orders have been sent to the UNSC Resist and Bite and Izumi."

As the UNSC ships slowed, the 3rd Fleet Hsst finally caught up, their journey continuing in unison towards their destination.

*Yokohama Base, UN Pacific Region 11th Army Headquarters*

"Brigadier General Radhabinon, Vice Commander Kouzuki, the UNSC squadron has finally entered Japanese airspace and is nearing Yokohama as we speak," announced one of the UN communications officers. Nearby, images from the 3rd Aerospace Fleet displayed the incoming UNSC ships.

"Seems our guests have finally arrived," remarked Vice Commander Kouzuki.

"Inform the representatives about this and prepare to welcome our guests!" Brigadier General Radhabinon ordered.

The communications officer nodded and promptly set about informing the necessary parties. The base buzzed with activity as preparations were made to receive the UNSC delegation.

(AN:Scuffed should have gone for the Muv Luv Alt Radio Drama that shit was funny.)

Trainee Squad 207th B dropped their training equipment with a clank, exhaustion evident on their faces. "Alright! Next, a 10-kilometer jog while carrying your cage equipment!" their instructor, Sergeant Jinguuji, announced.

The cadets replied with an immediate affirmative, their voices betraying their fatigue. As they moved towards their gear, one of them, Cadet Shirogane, remarked in confusion, "Huh?" inspecting his cage equipment. "Is my gear incomplete?" he muttered to himself. Unfortunately for him, Sergeant Jinguuji heard and wasn't too happy about it.

She turned to him with a menacing gaze. "I see, Cadet Shirogane, you've received a draft exemption up to now, haven't you?" Her voice dripped with menace.

Shirogane looked around at the other cadets, their eyes shrugging away from his predicament. "Err, that's—" he tried to explain, but the sergeant cut him off, her voice growing louder and more menacing.

"And because of that, I see you still have excess stamina left!" she bellowed.

"THEN YOU MUST DO IT WITH COMPLETE GEAR! AND WHILE YOU'RE AT IT, YOU WILL PROCEED BY CARRYING YOUR SQUAD'S SUPPORT DUMMY FIREARM!" she screeched. Shirogane hurried to his equipment, securing it and grabbing the dummy firearm before beginning the jog.

"Hm? You don't seem very happy. You still need more!" Sergeant Jinguuji encouraged, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Roger!" Shirogane responded, practically outpacing the other cadets.

Suddenly, he stopped in his tracks, as did the others. They saw it: a massive spaceship hovering in the sky above Yokohama.

"CADETS, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?" Sergeant Jinguuji barked, snapping them out of their stupor. They quickly resumed their jog, their eyes occasionally darting back to the awe-inspiring sight above.

interrupted. "Understood Sargeant Major gather them around." the man saluted "Sir! Yes Sir!" as he left running away.

"I belive we can continue, Under Sectretary Tamase." As he ask the UN Undersectretary. the man gave a nod, "Then so, follow me Vice Admiral Christian. it would be far better inside and the representatives are also wait, but were still waiting for the japanese and soviet representatives." with that he nodded along with his escort as they left and headed further inside the base, the four Odst followed suit.

"1st Lt Langer and Cpl Takayuki your both with me Lance Corporal Ajax and Private First Class Dalas your both staying with the Sargeant Major!" with the given orders the Odsts splitted with both 1st Lt Langer and Cpl Takayuki following the vice admiral.

"This is Bravo Leader. We have three dead, zero injuries, over," Bravo Leader reported.

"This is Alpha Leader. We lost two men and one M12 Warthog, over," Alpha Leader added.

Echo Lead nodded, then turned to his second-in-command. "Understood. Echo 7, report your status."

"Echo 7 here. We have suffered ten deaths, no injuries," Echo 7 responded. Echo Lead grimaced as he surveyed the battlefield, littered with Beta corpses. The sight of being eaten alive horrified him. He established new contact with the tankers.

"This is Echo Lead. What's your designation, tankers? Command just threw you in."

"We have been designated as Bulwark, Echo Lead," the tank commander introduced his unit. "Command Post, this is Echo Leader. Sending you our current update on status and situation."

"Echo Lead, this is Command Post. Do you still have the three Fury tactical nuclear weapons, over?" Command asked.

Echo Lead groaned, knowing where this was heading. "Yes, we do, Command Post."

"Understood. Your mission remains the same, Echo Leader. With your new assets, we expect you to neutralize this Beta hive. However, if you feel... " The transmission cut off, static filling the comms. Echo Lead bumped his helmet in frustration.

"Command Post, this is Echo Lead. Repeat, what do you mean? Over." He stopped to listen closely. The lunar surface began to shake, reverberating through the hive. "Echo 7, do you feel that?" he asked.

Confused, Echo 7 responded, "What do y—" The shaking intensified, then abruptly stopped. "Ech-o lead, this is co--mand p--ost. Do you re--ad us o--ver?"

Echo Lead stopped as one of Charlie Platoon's members screamed "Beta!" through the comms. Not from where he expected—right behind them at the entrance. "This is Echo Lead. We copy you, Command Post." Delta Platoon prepared their M41 SPNKrs.

"Command Post, your mission remains the same. Maintain your current position. A brigade-sized Beta force has appeared near the hive entrance," Command Post ordered.

Echo Lead gripped his rifle tighter. "Copy that, Command Post. We'll reach back at you. Over and out."
